Don't Miss The Mayer Tonight!
City Councilor Sally Mayer is all ready to clear up the "misinformation" that she claims is out there about the Red Light Camera system and the 19th Century Streetcar. Her Heart of the Heights "meeting" is tonight at the Sheraton Uptown (Menaul & Louisiana) starting at 7pm. Remember this meeting is open to the general public and would be a perfect time to ask her about her support for the Almighty Mayor's two pet projects. (Read more here.)

"Heart of the Heights". More like the "Heart-burn of the Heights" This is nothing more than a charade with guest speakers who don't want to be there. Forget about any dialog with the Councilor; she's just there as the Ring Master for this non productive mish-mash of policy dribble, shoveled up for two hours every month by the unlucky City Directors who drew the short straw. For the twenty or so out of touch folks that attend, it's just lip service from the City Directors(guest speakers)who just 'wing' it all the way out the door. Yet everyone goes home puzzled at what 'hook,line and sinker, they
just swallowed. But that's okay; nothing that a little Bromo Seltzer won't cure at bedtime, while they wonder was there anything accomplished tonight? Truth is, Councilor Mayer is the only one who thinks she's accomplished anything.
