The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Eye Poll: Not that it Matters

Last week's Eye Poll looked at the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate between Tom Udall and Marty (I'm still looking for my next job) Chavez. As everyone knows by now Tom Udall vanquished the Almighty Alcalde faster than the U.S. military deposed Saddam Hussein and with nary a shot fired, but in this week's Eye Poll Marty pulled it out by a single vote - not that it matters.

Of course the now ex-candidate sent out a get out the vote email to his supporters urging them to vote in our little unscientific poll, a fact that we had planned to reveal in this posting but Marty went and dropped out of the race before we could expose his shenanigans.

We're starting to wonder if we're starting to develop an Eye Poll curse similar to the Madden curse or the Chunky soup curse in football. Only time will tell as we take a look at the Republican side of the senate equation this week. Don't forget to vote!

If you don't think that every campaign doesn't try to win these stupid in scientific polls, you must be more naive than I thought.

How many people actually read this besides all the APD officers who whine all day?

It makes for good reading.

They should rename this blog The Cry: APD Whiners. This blog isn't about the truth. It's about the personal agenda of a few disgruntled cops and their "it's all about ME" attitude.

The intent of this blog was clear from the beginning. It started up right about the same time a particular APD Capt. retired. He won't be happy until Brad Winter is mayor and he gets to be his puppet Chief.

At least he earned his bars the hard way. Didn't ass kiss and make political contributions to Marty in the tune of $4,000 and $6,000 to buy his rank.
On the other hand you have to hand it to (no names please) for securing himself a nice retirment package as a DC.
Forget those union dues we keep paying, just save your money and buy your way up the latter. Only question remains is where he got that kind of money to begin with in on a Sgts. pay.

Dear Loser Marty,

There are always jobs for losers like you. Try the help wanted ads. You would make a great dish washer or a good laborer painting numbers on the sidewalks.

What little following you had; you lost. You are truly "The Biggest Loser."

RE: The Cry. You have to be a Marty minion. Your the one who keeps whining about the website. The only cring, is coming from you. Who cares who's site this is? I have found this website to be very informative compared to other public blogs. If you don't like it, go to Marty's website. OOOPS, thats' right, coward Marty does not have one anymore.

That's right. Other blogs are just smoothed over BS. You keep reading them everyday and they say nothing, don't expose anything or anybody,LIKE THE TRUTH, for fear of retaliation. So you wind up after a year no more informed on anything except what some 'blow hard' would have you beleive like Monahan and other so called political bloggers and political 'know it alls' like Brian Sanderhoff.
They merly mimick what the newspapers are already saying which is NOTHING,as they are just an extension(PR Dept) of this lame, corrupt, lying, cheating, womenizing administration.
City Hall is nothing more than a low class playboy mansion. Just take a look at who's running this brothle (directors) and you'll see what I mean. This skanky cesspool needs to be cleaned up.
PR people( party girl) an PIOs? That's another joke.
And while we're at it. Just what the F_ _k do we need an Ass't. Chief and/or THREE DC's for?
Cut the FAT, and write these job descriptions out. The City would be about $1M per year better off.
BTW, I'm not PD or AFD. I work for the State, where we have some sort of accountability.

A few posts up.....MC did not need to make much when you marry rich!

That's right, his wife's family is very rich, so his money is his own. When they got married, they got a free house and an RV in the expensive part of the NE.

So, the guy married into money.

3rd comment, you can't believe everything Ray tells you!

two posts up, how did you earn your rank? Opps sorry you didnt earn it.

I was reading the paper Monday and it mentions the Mayor and a relationship with Sun-Cal, as well as one with the Mayor's Campaign manager.

This does not pass the smell test. In other words, it smells bad. You know the saying, if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck!

The Attorney General's Office in Santa Fe should look into this.

Albuquerque has had too many corrup politicians, we don't need anymore small town politics. We have had way too much!

FIrst couple of posts ; who reads this blog besides cops? Obviously you do. And what you read matters enough for you to come over here and post about it. As a former city employee now in the public sector I can say that many of the more outrageous things Ive seen here really do have the ring of truth. As to Marty's get out the vote emails to city employees. Once, years ago, he had me investigated for sending out a pro-Republican email from home on my own time, simply cause' my name got attached to it. So if he, or his employees, were sending or receiving those emails on city hardware on city time you can damn sure bet I want them all at least investigated the same way.

#3 not every cop wants to go back, some actually have a life after APD. Have been retired 5 years and really don't understand anyone who can't make it after retirement.

I thought that this would stay on subject!! Number 3 poster! (currently the only person that would serve this department and not himself is Candelaria)now back to the blog!!!! The writing is on the wall!!

I agree this blog should be re-named, "The Cry: APD WHINERS!

Right. They're only hero's when some bad guy kills one of them, right? Then the whole city will be lined up to attend the funeral.

5 posts up:

I don't know what Sun-Cal is all about (why don't you enlighten us, please) but I'm very concerned about Marty's relationship to Redflex. Long before the first scamera went up Marty was touting how wonderful Scottsdale AZ (Redflex's US home) was. Remember his trying to regulate commercial sign height to something akin to his own?? Just like Scottsdale. That went by the wayside, and then shortly afterward the first two scameras went up. Just like Scottsdale! And now that he has pulled out of the Senate race, in a manner that could be construed as protecting his scamera program, somebody should keep an Eye on his "official" travel and/or "official" visitors.

I would love to have Marty investigated by (an unbiased) AG but since the current one is a Dem., that's not gonna happen.

Keep it up Mr./Ms. Eye...some of us civilians only get this info from this blog since the "Major Media" seems to cowardly to report these things.

5 Up hahahaha he has a larger ego that the entire 5th, 4th and 3rd floors. There is a reason why no one evers rebids to the WS.

Marty is wounded, he's weak so now is the time to strike....the wheels are just starting to fall off his bus and I say Let 'em fall!!! Cadigan questioning the Sun-Cal ties, and it's just the beginning...let's all watch the little guy as he goes rolling off into the mesa along side those wheels!! Good Riddance! (FYI: I am a city employee, but not with APD, way to go Eye!!!) I'm just your average, everyday fed up city employee tired of being scsrewed by my union and this administration that filters down crap into every department, by the way)

"RE: The Cry. You have to be a Marty minion."

No, not a Marty minion, nor a Schultz fan, either. Not everyone that disagrees with this blog is a Marty supporter. This is exactly what I meant about a particular agenda on this blog, it boasts a single-minded focus.

We need new leadership, but I don't think we need another mayor/Chief puppet show. We need REAL leaders, people who are not afraid to stand up for the troops and speak their mind without fear of retaliation. We certainly don't need leaders that operate covertly, cowardly trying to affect opinions on anonymous blogs.

A few posts up...Marty's Campaign Manager works for Sun-Cal. Marty just vetoed a bill that will now allow Sun-Cal to recieve big bucks $$$$$$$!

I wonder what Marty got out of the deal!

Capt Candelaria would at least take care of us!

--5th Floor

That is rich but it's also very accurate....about the command. Don't you guys get it? APD is respectd nationwide for its officers and detectives but its command staff is almost a joke. Barely a leader in sight... Attack the rank and file as much as you want but its the command staff that's responsible for this mess.

Sun-Cal (I believe) is a developer out of California hoping to develop land on the west side. Now the corporation will be able to develop about 60,000 acres on the west side--with the tax diversion provision.

I'll bet you Ms Chavez de Aragon could really give the readers some real good Marty stories. He might be terrified to run against her for fear of what she may disclose!
