The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Eye Poll Slams Schultz for Bad Performance

The Eye recently ran an Eye Poll to see you how the citizens felt about APD’s Chief of Police, Ray Schultz. Although, our poll is unscientific the results show that Schultz received an overwhelming bad rating in his performance. Our Eye Poll asked the following:

How do you rate Chief Ray Schultz given the turmoil in APD?
Rating Voters Percentage
Great 28 12%
Okay 11 4%
No opinion 9 3%
Poor 38 16%
Extremely poor 140 61%
Error margin +/- 4%
226 participants voted

Our poll shows 16% of the participants who voted, rated Schultz’s performance at “okay” to “great.” A total of 3% did not have an opinion. Here is the no shocker to us here at the Eye; a whopping 77% rate Schultz’s performance at “poor” to “extremely poor.” Let us repeat this information; 77% of the participants, who voted, rated Schultz’s performance at “poor” to “extremely poor.”

Is Schultz’s lousy rating due to all the police involved shootings? Is it due to the Schultz’s alleged involvement in the Darren White debacle? Is it that Schultz lied and stated there was “no probable cause” in the Kathy White alleged DUI case? Is it that Schultz was convicted in a United States Federal District Court of civil rights violations? Is it the record millions of dollars paid out under Schultz’s leadership or lack thereof? We could go on and on and on…

This poll probably comes as no shock to Schultz as he scrambled this week looking for a distraction. We found what we believe is that distraction, check back with us tomorrow and read what Schultz “brewed up” to take the heat off of himself again. The Eye has seen his tactics before when he sat back and let his department rip Judge Murdoch into pieces. Yes folks, the same big disaster case the special prosecutor from Santa-Fe County dismissed this week.

Stay tuned folks, tomorrows story will raise eyebrows on both ends of the isle…

I am not involved with law enforcement so I am grateful that we citizens have Eye on Albuquerque to provide us with it's perspective and insight. Blogs like yours are an important source of information and opinion that we don't normally get to see. I don't always agree with opinions I read here but I always appreciate the information provided.

SCHULTZ; GAME ON. YOU NEED TO WATCH YOUR SID DETECTIVES WHO GO OUT AFTER WORK IN THEIR SID CARS AND DRINK. EVERYONE IS WATCHING. YOU HAVE DETECTIVES MEETING THEIR GIRLFRIENDS ON DUTY TO.

Go Get Him Stealth!!

I expect the Eye will post something about the detective who got set up with a prostitute. And the comment from Schultz about the guy who got kicked in the head. I'm not law enforcement and this is how I see it. Schultz is trying to fan the heat onto anyone but himself. Why is he setting up his own people? And if a PRC commissioner can steal a car and get to keep his 90K a year job, and another fellow steals a car and gets kicked in the head - why is Schultz not standing up for his people?

How about we start posting photos on this blog? Official cars parked for nooners. - Still waiting for the big news breaking here today.

Mayor Berry. No matter how you slice, dice or spin this, the public's perception is that this administration will go down as one of the worst. Not since the days of Clyde Tingly has there been so much scandal and mismanagement.
You can blame YOUR decisions, YOUR appointments, YOUR inexperience in management, YOUR ineptness for the black eyes that Ray and Darren have given you and this administration. Fortunately you only have two eyes otherwise you'd have about six black eyes by now.

Wow!!! if all 226 who voted were cops that makes roughly 20% of cops voting! That means all the disgruntled bitches on the department voted Ray is doing a bad job. Or even worse 226 people out of 550,000 in the city (that's .004% of people in the city), it still looks like this blog services the micro minority of either the police department or the general population!!! So eye looks like you poll the crazies of either community, congratulations!!!

WHEN will these guys learn that they will get set up just as easily as they set others up? This guy Kindle has lost his job, his family, and his reputation, all for absolutely NOTHING!!!! This is enough to cause terminal impostence in a man!

What's the scoop on this place?

Horse & Angel. Yeah that's one pick up joint for sure , but the hottest social dating scene in Albuquerque
seems to be the next desk or office over, down the hall, or on a different floor.....

AT CITY HALL !!!!!

(you have to be a member though. In other words be given a position in order to sample the Hor d'oeuvres)
David Campbell sure had a few samples. Anyone else care to comment?

Sorry, but this Kindle character is a MORON. He got busted, and will lose his job, and rightfully so.

how about schultz GIVING his daughter a PSA spot, even though she admitted to drinking and driving (shes not even 21 yet and Schultz himself barred another psa from teh process for the same thing). AND on top of that, gave her the most sought after PSA spot in DWI (even though she is the least senior of PSAs and others wanted the spot

I READ THE DARREN WHITE THING. IF HE IS NOT A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER WHY DOES HE WEAR A JACKET THAT SAYS POLICE ON IT DURING PRESS CONFERENCES? ALL THE NEWS CHANNELS HAVE VIDEOS.

Schultz is definitely a scoundrel, but he cannot control everyone who has the need or urge to be messin with hookers and pulling out their schwantz. Leave the 'Pecker-Checker assignment to Darren, Peaches and TJ; just about all they're good for.

Anonymous 2:33 - Lack of leadership? The Captain of the Titanic didn't put the iceberg there, he wasn't driving when the ship hit it, but ultimately he was responsible for the ship going down.

As a non-law enforcement connected citizen of Abq, I think it's time for new leadership at APD.

And yes, if the charges are true, the cop is a moron.

I blame him for the lack of integrity at APD since he too was convicted of a civil rights violation and didn't lose his job. The culture of a department start at the top. He attacked my brother (Sam Costales) for telling the truth about the bad behavior of other officers, so please with "you people are pathetic". That POS deserves to rot in hell for what he did to my brother. Any time you want to discuss the case I encourage you to look up the court transcript and see what a real POS he is.

He did not pick up a hooker. He appears to be a boor and a cad, but it seems it was a set up. Read the story.

Anonymous said...

David Campbell - your response is requested. What do you have to say? What does Darren White have to say about this? One cover up after another.

Anonymous said...

Well, what did David Campbell do? Yes, this cop did pick up a hooker. Has been with this hooker more than once. Word is that she was also a he...eeewwwww!

Be careful Commissioner; you're playing with fire

Kindle was set up! Vice wants to shut him up. Run Kindle. Get out while you still can. You saw how Han was handled. You won't be any different.

@951 pm A certain retire likes just those she/he, in one, "hookers"

Anonymous said...

How was Kindle set up? Did somebody else jerk him off?

Anonymous said...

Kindle was NOT set up. No one forced him to get a hooker.

think you mean a "REHIRE"

He did it to himself while the ho' watched. That was the entire encounter, and the vice squad caught him in the act. BFD. It was not the encounter that got him in trouble because lord knows it is not illegal. Yet. It was his offer to get her off the hook - the guy is not real smart and should go to work for the BCSD after he gains at least 100 pounds.

Anonymous said...

He needs to be fired or the entire APD is going down. What is ity that the Mayor does not understand?

@ 8-18 11:03 am
I'm not a cop but a private citizen and I voted. I'm sure you did also for doing a great job, because you're one of the connected.

Believe it or not some people can see past Schultz' BS. Just like the story on KOAT this morning.

And why the hell would RJ veto the DOJ unless he's really afraid of something, he should be welcoming them to clear things up. That's if everything is on the up & up. Makes a person wonder??
