The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. IRO William Deaton Gets a Vote of No Trust from City Council

The Albuquerque City Council voted unanimously on Monday night to have the IG (Inspector General) Office investigate the incident and circumstances involving former Public Safety Director, Darren White. White stands accused of several administrative violations and a long list of crimes ranging from impersonating a police officer to conspiracy to cover up his wife’s alleged DUI crash. The City Council voiced concerns that Deaton did not have the authority to conduct an investigation on non-sworn officer. Deaton’s findings were released on Friday, July 29, 2011.

The City Council’s vote to have the IG’s Office investigate is clearly a vote of “no trust” for Deaton. Immediately after releasing the report Deaton fled the country. Deaton knew before hand several facts; first, he did not have any subpoena powers, two, he knew that he had a personal and on-going friendship with White, and third, he knew the IG’s Office does have the investigative abilities with legitimate subpoena powers. The Eye sees Darren White bouncing and heading to Suffern, New York to “visit” family “again” now that he is in hot water again. The jester’s court of Berry’s fools has all the makings of a movie. Why would Deaton take off, to avoid being questioned about his poor shoddy investigation?

Deaton knew he did not have authority and should have refused to handle the case. Perhaps former Judge Deaton could have directed the City in the correct direction? According to the redacted report by Deaton, White was never interviewed, why? If White was interviewed, why was he not asked about the criminal allegations? If Deaton did interview White and failed to ask the important and relevant questions, doesn’t that make Deaton and his office guilty of conspiracy and a minimum of misfeasance, but more than likely malfeasance of duty? White was the cause of the investigation, he was at the center of the investigation and he was the primary target of the investigation. Now, how is it possible to clear everyone including White of wrong doing without interviewing the target? And if he was interviewed, how come none of the relevant questions asked, show any facts? On the other hand, how is it that Deaton dumped everything on Senior Officer Walck and then fled the country?

Deaton had a personal vendetta against Walck as did Chief Schultz. Both Deaton and Schultz appeared in Santa-Fe at the Law Enforcement Board several weeks ago in an attempt to have Walck decertified as a police officer on an un-related situation. The Law Enforcement Board in Santa-Fe refused to decertify Walck and unanimously voted in favor of Walck. This left both Deaton and Schultz angry and looking for anything to go after Walck in retaliation. They found their opportunity with Darren White’s blunders. Here again, when Deaton knew this case involved an officer that he held a personal vendetta against, Deaton should have refused to handle the case and recuse himself. Schultz knowing the situation should have voiced an objection if he had any integrity.

The Eye sees another huge settlement coming out of this case. The Eye is sure that Senior Officer Walck will welcome the big money but for the rest of us citizens paying out on incompetence, it is disheartening.

Deaton’s case is riddled with problems. For example; Schultz claimed there was no probable cause for a DUI investigation yet the IRO slams Walck for not conducting a DUI investigation. Does that mean that Deaton is calling Ray Schultz a liar? Deaton’s credibility has been ruined by his own actions and by the vote of no trust. The City should release Deaton from the City’s service. The person, who is chosen to replace Deaton, should be a credible person of good moral fabric.

Bravo to the City Council, especially the Honorable Ken Sanchez for stepping up to the plate and handling business!

Since Darren has managed to contrive such a complicated conspiracy case against Ahrensfield for his testimony defending Camacho as retaliation , what makes anyone NOT think the same was done to Walck. Deaton And Ray were pissed off that they did not prove their case in Santa Fe a few weeks back so Walck must be Whacked.
Suppose this whole thing is another scheme of Darren's where they had Peaches run her car intro a curb on purpose knowing Walck was on duty in the area, hence the perfect scenario and opportunity to get revenge against Walck. Don't think these guys couldn't hatch a plan like this.
Darren in the process find a way to quit and then sue the city for an unknown amount , but enough to buy 9 years of PERA.

Berry says a DOJ investigation is premature. That we should give them more time to correct this mess.

What?

Berry is just as guilty as the rest of them

Ray needs to pack his bags and be replace by someone the officers can trust. This would eliminate all current APD command officers. And the last thing we need is another outsider.

Fantastic job at the Council meeting Monday night Paul Heh. We need more like you. Folks like you are far and few between.

I have a prediction: Schultz will not make it through the end of August. "Cherry Berry" will either can him, or he will conveniently "retire". You heard it here first. :)

Why is Darren White still n the payroll WTF !!
Should he be allowed to buy years of service if he's not an employee?
He will need 4 to $500,000 to do that. Where's he going to get the cash to do that? The taxpayers via some bogus settlement from the city?
What a morale booster for the other 10,000 other city employees.
No wonder he is hated by so many, not just APD & AFD like he thinks.

Go ahead Perry, just try and make the case for settlement to your pet pig. Go ahead, make our day. We will be all over that like stink on shit.
Or in Darren's case, WHITEY on RICEY.
Real popular guy with the Hispanic community.

Game plan for City of Albuquerque moving forward;

Ray- Resign ( let go now)
Three DC's- Expelled, fired
Perry- resign
Berry- Recalled or resign. (Just go already.)
Breen- resign- retire
TJ please -Fired. shit can his ass
( Severence- year's supply of taco bell coupons)
Chris Ramirez - Fired
Sarah Lister -Fired

There. Nice new clean house. Tito can be mayor for now. Can't get worse.

"The Eye sees another huge settlement coming out of this case - for Senior Officer Walck." You've got to be kidding. As a senior officer he should have proceeded with a DUI investigation. If he was concerned about Darren White he should have activated his belt tape. And whats his excuse for not filing a timely report. Listen, I'm no fan of Darren White or the rest of the henchman that run our city but to say Officer Walck is a "victim" is a stretch. I base my comments on everything I've seen printed on this forum, the newspaper and news outlets. I find Officer Walck's actions suspect as I do Darren White's.

Why is it that officers belt tapes NEVER seem to be on?

Sam Costales was a senior officer - retired and returned and they sure retaliated against him. Walck probably knew the same would be in store for him. Plain and simple - Darren knew the accident was minor, talked to Peaches on the phone and knew full well his presence would be intimidating to APD and AFD. Not sure why anyone is afraid of him, geez I know more women with ba**s than the majority of APD.

I'm no friend of Darren White but geez Apd and it's membership have been pretty pathetic through this whole mess. Villanucci show was all about Ahrendsfeld the the other day and not one Apd member came up with anything damning against Darren White. Mr Ahrensfeld was pretty much left to fend for himself. All this talk of these secret videos, audios and documents and zilch!!!! Your membership is pretty disappointing. You guys start a fight and let someone else finish it for you. Pretty sad, all talk no action. You guys deserve the way you get f@#ked by these guys. You used to be my heroes. So sad!!!!!

I wouldn't be so hasty with new DCs. It's not like there are stellar commanders hanging out. Look at the list of commanders and almost all of them are Ray's minions. Mason, warfield, prudencio, gonterman, roseman, medina, saylor, that Bonnie chick, page, Eric Garcia-Salazar, etc. I mean this is a rougues gallery of LOSERS, no wonder this place is so fucked up. Good luck mates!

5:09 pm post. Amen brother! Nothing but a pack of suck ups who got where they are because they toss Ray's salad!!

I recently retired from APD and I had my share of retaliation and a bogus IA. I feel it is healthy to vent, but when we write just horrible put downs about people, it makes the writer look just as horrible as the person they are putting down. Just in this comment area: Things like Cherry Berry, Whitey Ricey, tossing salad, come on, lets vent but lets stay away from the High School put downs.

Anonymous said...

Darren was down town today getting a city license so he can do cosulting work for law enforcment. God HELP the department who would hire him.

Anonymous said...

No, I disagree, High School put downs are what's needed because most of these clown were losers in High School. Show me somebody who wasn't and I bet for sure they aren't above the rank of lieutenant because let's face it, the chief himself was probably picked on in High School!

To Brad Ahrensfield - Thanks for the comment you made about my brother at the City Council meeting. My brother has moved on, but I still can't let go of what they did to him. Someone told him what you said and it made him feel good. He said if he ever ran into you he would thank you. Not sure if that will ever happen, so I wanted to say it for him. Darren, Ray, Candelaria, Garcia and that punk Badway played their little game of retaliation, but what goes around will eventually come around and I hope that day is soon.

WTF is up with our cool collected Mayor today?
BlueBERRY, if you're gonna chew some staff ass, maybe it shouldn't be heard out in the waiting room so everyone can hear. Not sure who the hell was in there but it was like a priest exploding in a confessional, over little Johnnie doing his sister.

There is a new page on facebook that I encourage everyone to "like" and give. It is to support Brad Ahrensfield and to donate funds to help raise money to get the text messages decoded on Erika Bryan's phone. SHARE THE WORD because time is of essence! Brad's sentencing is at the end of this month. THESE TEXT MESSAGES NEED TO GET OUT!

To Sam Costales sister : Not all the Officers lied at Sams trial.

Anonymous said...

You are absolutely right there were a few good men and women that testified. I know at least two of them were still on the force and that had to be difficult. Kudos to Bryan Carr and Paul Heh (sp) I believe those are their names. There were some that had retired one a lady cop and another male cop and a lady that worked for the city but had left due to retaliation as well, who also testified on my brothers' behalf. I thank them. I apologize if I characterized everyone there as liars. Not my intention.

SAM'S SISTER SOUNDS LIKE A STAND UP PERSON JUST LIKE SAM IS. APD SUCKED HIM FOR 20+ YEARS THEN SAID FU. I KNOW ALL ABOUT RETALITATION SO I CAN RELEATE TO EVERYTHING THAT IS BEING SAID.
