The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Vote, What Vote?

Albuquerque Citizens put the Redflex cameras to the test on October 4, 2011. The citizens overwhelmingly voted against all of the cameras. Although city council members as well as the Mayor, stated they would "listen" to the voters, the cameras are yet to come down. In fact, there are at least half a dozen employees that are dedicated solely to the red light cameras, none of which have received notice that their employment is no longer needed. The Eye was recently contacted in reference to the red light cameras. This anonymous man went to his mailbox only to find a notice from a Texas collection agency. The agency accused him of owing 300 dollars for a ticket he never recieved. The man contacted the agency and was told he had to pay the full amount immediately or else suffer the consequences of having his creadit tarnished for at least ten years. This was the first time he had even heard of receiving the ticket. Needless to say, that ticket will go unpaid, because he refuses to submit a payment of $300 for something he has no proof of doing. If this is happening to him, it is happening to many more people. Come on Mayor Berry, come on City Council. The citizens of Albuquerque have spoken------ NO MORE RED LIGHT CAMERAS.
Admit you are wrong, and look elsewhere for the revenue. Why hold a vote if the voice of the citizens does not count for anything. Mayor Berry, it is ok to admit you were wrong. It is ok to admit that the cameras have nothing to do with public safety, but has everything to do with money. It is ok to admit that public safety employees do not support you. It is ok to realize the citizens are smart individuals and this bluff involving credit agencies will not work. Our advice.... BRING IT ON, we are ready and the CITIZENS HAVE SPOKEN!

Registered mail? Of course not. Just a bluff. More scam BS. Not worth a response or a worry.

If they EVER contact by telephone...
In my opinion, the best defense is to assert that the debt has no basis. Tell the collection agency that you are unaware of any debt and that if they contact you again for baseless harrassment that there will be legal consequences for them.

In my opinion, the city and redflex are too lazy to do things properly, this leaves the collection agencies legally vulnerable. They know it.

The scam has run its course.

About time, EYE. You helped elect this fraud because YOU SAID BERRY WOULD GET RID OF THE SCAMERAS. You owe us a post EVERY SINGLE DAY those SCAMERAS aren't shut off.

There's some reason Berry would keep the SCAMERAS on AFTER A PUBLIC VOTE said "SHUT THEM DOWN!" Even Chavez would read the writing on the wall.

Fifth floor gossip says Berry is being blackmailed by Red Flex lackey Ray Schultz. Berry is keeping the SCAMERAS on for SOME reason.

Are the rumors true? Has Schultz got something on Berry? Cushy job with TJ to the person who delivers the goods!

I'd like to know why Chris Ramirez Huffman is now a reporter for KOB, anyone know anything?

Ramirez took a job as for a big company and put in his 2 week notice. The job was cancelled so he got hired by Kob 4 since he had already resigned from the City. Kinda like Joey Sigalla paying himself $36,000 as a yearly APOA bonus, he like Ramirez will havehis day

Chris Huffman Ramirez was going to get a big job with Gov. Martinez so he quite the city. That job didn't happen so he is with KOB. Sounds like a slick way to get him out of the city. Right mayor ? By the way mayor, what is T.J. doing now ?

If you don't like Sigalas extra pay, show up at the APOA meeting and address it.

Thanks for the info -- sounds like Ramirez put the cart B4 the horse, quit his job B4 making sure he had another one. In this sad economy with no jobs for regular folks, seems like this guy had his choice of THREE.....must be nice. Most of us stay put even tho we may not be in love with our jobs. And by "US" I mean we city workers.
