The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Schultz Abuses “Penguin”

Our eyes behind the scenes are telling us about an abusive Schultz. Apparently, Mayor Berry’s chief, Ray-Monster Schultz, received word that one of his APD Senior Sergeants, Patricio Apodaca (AKA; Penguin or Penguino) had posted a comment on his Facebook page. This comment was not distasteful, vulgar, or inappropriate; it was a rumor he heard playing golf with some of the brass nut boys from APD. Now, you ask yourself, what kind of rumor would force Mayor Berry’s chief to abuse an innocent penguin?

Penguino (SSGT. Apodaca) stated in his post, “Some interesting conversations today while playing some golf. 5th floor apparently knows who runs Eye On Albuquerque and isnt really concerned by it. Apparently, not as anonymous as you think. People have a right to voice their opinions, sad that they hide in the shadows to do it. Being lazy here with attack yorkies that are ready to pounce and kill. This has been a Penguino Inc update.” When the Eye was able to look up the comment we put we “liked” it. We here at the Eye found it very humorous that the joke was on them. Apparently this angered Berry’s chief and the chief’s three Stooges.

Our Eyes tell us that poor little Penguino was placed in-front of the boys and was severely admonished and told in so many words if he wanted to keep his job, he better keep his beak closed! Adhering to the threats of termination, SSgt. Apodaca posted on Facebook, “Well I will no longer be posting anything on here about work. Apparently it is the wrong thing to do. Because here at ...... we care. This has been a Penguino Inc update.” Our Eyes also tell us SSgt. Apodaca was accused of “knowing” who we were. Your wrong again Schultz. Then again, we are sure that you are used to hearing that you’re wrong all the time… Remember brass nuts, you’re really not concerned who run the Eye On Albuquerque?

We here at the Eye are sorry about Mr. Penguino’s abused but we find humor and concern in the actions of APD’s top brass nuts. Berry’s chief, Ray Schultz, is worried about a one line clean sentence on a Facebook page and brings down hell on a helpless little Penguino but could give a lesser dam about 26 police involved shootings, the West Mesa murders, or out of control gangs and drug wars. Could you imagine how many murders, rapes, and other crimes could be solved if these idiots would put forth the same effort into solving crimes and stop worrying about a Facebook post? Schultz needs to stop the “teacher teacher he’s looking at me routine” and try to get back to being a chief of one of America’s largest police forces. Is there something seriously wrong with this insecure man? Or is it just us?

Schultz can go home now and do what all evil people do; sharpen his claws, sulk, and plan his next demonic deed. How pathetic…

Wow, I've never heard of anyone hanging themselves with a logo.

Apodaca fits in well with his friends on the 5th floor. Good for him to have buddies to play golf with, he needs friends.

Why was Levy kicked off the 5th floor??

Anonymous said...

Penguin needs to lay off the fish and chips and free golf beer. He looks like a mess in uniform.

12:13.... Hey we know your an APD 34 who had a bad run in with Pat. Don't take cheap shots you coward. All you little APD cops who bash eachother on this website are pathetic. What a brotherhood you guys are. No wonder APD has such a tarnished legacy.

You can thank the union for that brotherly environment.

One question Mayor, why do you keep Schultz when he campaigned for Marty Chavez, is Darren pulling your strings again?

Thanks Doug and Tasia,,not a knot expert huh? maybe not but definitely an expert in helping all the shady police officers in your unit,,,clandestine,,covert..secret...only means corruption,,time to answer up for what you have done and its time to take the trash out at gangs and Rop,,,Fox news and The LA times are telling the country all about it....

Dear 3:52

Just look at him. If you can honestly say he looks good in an APD uniform then you are either blind or in denial. Pat is a nice guy, but he looks like crap and I think we should expect more from our officers.

Anonymous said...

The sad point I think is that someone on Pat's FB page who he thinks is his "friend" told or showed someone his post and complained about it.

Anonymous said...

Pat you have a set of balls which is 99% more than the hole department.
Really how long has ROP has that trademark noose. How many of you actually know what ROP stands for? There arent many Officers know what those three initials stand for.

Way to go Welch that just helped your lawsuit 100%.

Hey doug west if you wannta get promoted grow set of balls and stand up for the men and women who work for you. The nooses incident i tototally stupide, seriously? You are throwing money away that the city doesnt have cuz you balls are shcrinken up to you asshole.

I forget schultz doesnt promoted anyone with a set of balls or ovaries since it aill make him look bad like he isn't standing up for his peeps.

John Gallegos sits in IA doing nothing but checking the online postings of all department employees.

So Zach-e boy helped brad get out of a jam by taking care of the criminal investigation and calling another colleague a "flake" and the victim of the crime "dirty",,,,you're the only dirty player in this,,,please!!! DOJ...FBI...somebody stop these guys already!!

ROP was bastardized when they started letting all the "retired" SWAT guys into the unit. Many of these ROP detectives know how to shoot an AR 15, but could not even begin to present a case to the Grand Jury. They just run around being a glorified warrants unit.

Instead of having a shooting test to get into ROP how about getting letters of recommendation from District Attorneys and United States Attorneys. That way if you don't know how to prepare a case, testify and put a career criminal in prison, you have no business being in ROP.

Final thought, in the old days the ROP detectives would get lists of ex cons coming into the Albuquerque area (from probation and parole) and they would spend time to review the rap sheets and identify the ex cons most likely to reoffend. That doesn't happen anymore. I don't even know what the ROP guys do, other than go to the Tactical Range and shoot all the SWAT guns.

ROP needs to get back to what they were meant to do, put ex cons who reoffend back in prison and present cases and make the charges stick.

The editorial piece in ABQ journal hits the nail on the head with this:

"But what is needed is a zero tolerance of conduct unbecoming of APD’s dedicated and professional law enforcement officers — instead of reacting to and/or defending every unbecoming action by the dangerously unprofessional members of the force."

Anonymous said...

ROP used to be elite, but has been a warrant roundup unit for several years. They also used to be one of the fittest units on the department. Once they retired, the only people that were scared of them was the managers of Golden Corral.

Anonymous said...

At least they retired.

Hey Doug West you think its time that the INTEL UNIT is overhauled. Someone called them on the bullshit they have been putting out for the past six years. Bulletins are being put out on a jailhouse snitch that arent even verified are you kiding me.

On Jeff Procter's article whose the officer whose house was 27-5'd.

Anonymous said...

This is not the first officer that had their home 27-5'd. Al Walck house was the day of his funeral. He had dirt on Darren White. Orlando Camacho house was also, they took stuff regarding his lawsuit against the city. Does that sound odd to you? It does to me, officers that are going up against the city and their house get broken into to. Smells dirty folks.

Anonymous said...

That's Buckner for you, everything he is attached to is fiction.

Anonymous said...

Iam glad that Doyle held their feet to the fire. If something is said an Officer needs to back up his talk. This is worse they put it in writing and that made up stuff may costs two officers their job.

I think Pat the penguin is very sexy!

"I think Pat the penguin is very sexy!"

Sexy? Only if you enjoy the odor of of cigars and twinkies basked in Old Spice cologne. Yes that is sexy

Those officers told the truth and the administration along with the investigators withheld key evidence so that they could paint the officer's actions as wrong and their accounts as false. Those involved in that situation are disgraceful for what they did to those officers. Those officers did their jobs, and arrested a violent armed and dangerous felon who was resisting arrest without killing him and then the officers were scapegoated by their chief and his round table of less than honest cohorts in order to make the DOJ go away. Those officers were used and now the truth is coming out in the papers. The department knew that felon was ABQ's most wanted and they withheld that information to make it appear as if the actions of those officers was wrong. That right there tells you this whole thing stinks to the high heavens. People who were not even wanted have been shot for far less in this city. That whole thing is rotten to the core. Everyone knows it. They all know what was done to those guys and when the light is put on those responsible it will be over. That felon had a gun and could have killed someone in that hotel. Those officers prevented what could have been a catastrophy.

Why did Pat get drop kicked out of running DWI again? How many times has he been sued civilly? Pat aint all "that"???

Anonymous said...

Once again G. Weber do you realize you should not speak to Procter. You sound like you are defending the Chief and your job is to defend the two Officers. Again that why we don't need a sgt as a Union President.

Anonymous said...

Sgt Weber looks like a used car salesman. And get a hair cut that curly crap in the back when a dude is going bald is horrible...

Anonymous said...

Just amazed at how the Department is more concerned with officers missing court then anything else.. Guess they will try anything for the DOJ and attempt to have the "see we are on top of things here at APD" so DOJ you can hit the road.. Everything here is JUST RIGHT said Goldilocks....

That union president wrecked himself liability wise with that moronic statement. It is obvious that guy has absolutely no experience at all as a street cop and he has no working knowledge of use of force as set forth by state and federal laws across the country. "It wouldn't necessarily change the way someone responds to a situation" So now when officers get involved with individuals who are known to be armed and dangerous and a deadly threat to police they don't respond any differently to that person as compared to how they would deal with a person wanted for a misdemeanor warrant??? Does this uneducated fool know how bad he has embarrassed himself with that statement, let alone opened himself up to liability should he ever become involved with an armed and dangerous individual and have to use force? One of the elements involved in force is the officer's perception and what they know. Will the coverups ever end with this administration?

Maybe someone should explain to that sargeant why a felony car stop is conducted on a vehicle known to be occupied by a felon and guns are out and pointed at that vehicle when this is done and why multiple officers are on the scene for backup, as opposed to
vehicle stops conducted on individuals with misdemeanor warrants, where there is usually one or two officers who approach the car and have the suspect get out to be cuffed and transported.

So officers don't react differently to a confirmed violent threat? Why are some felony warrants considered high risk, requiring an entire swat team to make entry or track the wanted suspect?

Why are perimeters set up when a felon disappears into a neighborhood? Do perimeters get set up for shoplifters and panhandlers? Why is a K9 sent into a perimeter instead of a cop?

That union president made a statement that is on written record that will haunt him for the rest of his career.

It seems a few people need a lesson in constitutional law.

WEBER WILLOBY one in the same, more of the same! The "union" is a disgrace! No communication with the membership at all!!! At least under the past administration they paid someone to put out a newsletter once a month! Now we get nothing!!! And what the hell does Ron Olivas do anyways? Do we still buy him suits? I hope State Police is looking at his past involvement with the association

Anonymous said...

APOA UNION PRESIDENT = SAME OL SAME OL........

Hope the NMSP wrecks house on those clowns!

Anonymous said...

Long live the PENGUIN!

Anonymous said...

"Love Live the Penguin!"

Then tell him to quit smoking cigars, drinking booze, eating bad and haning out with the fifth floor.

Anonymous said...

I've seen the Penguin lie on the stand to save a dirty 34s from losing at trial. Pat Apodaca is nothing I want representing my department. He is another shifty crud that needs to go with everyone on the 5th

Anonymous said...

Pat has been given a new assignment for his Social Network comments.. I see a large amount of retirements in the very near future and most of them from the field. So calls will continue to hold and officers will continue to be allowed to go inside and leave the field short as always.... All you hard working FSB officers might want to get in the book for comp or vacation real quick......

Anonymous said...

More retaliation for speaking your mind about the fraud of an APD administration. Yet those liars can slander officers in the media daily. They are such hypocrite slime. They need to be sued out of their homes personally. That sergeant needs to retain a cutthroat lawyer like the one representing Han's family and wreck these Nazis into the stone age. Someone referenced them as mushrooms. That is perfect. What better and lower than something that grows under cow shit.

Anonymous said...

So if you have seen Pat lie on the stand, did you testify too. Did you bring it to the Judge's attention that he was lieing. Could you prove it Did you file an IA complaint?

Anonymous said...

nobody saw NOTHIN' nobodys gonna file nothin, dont u worry bout it! If he lied let him! aint nothin gonna happen just move along to a new topic. Pat has lost weight and looks sexier than eva!

Anonymous said...

We heard that Pat has decided to retire... Any truth to that???
