The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. RIVER OF DENIAL

As states and cities in those neighboring states move forward with economic growth, here in Albuquerque we are stuck in a period of denial. We have a city administration in denial about its failures and a print media that seems to endorse the mayor's incompetence by it's silence. A silence and noticeable absence of criticism it makes one wonder if there isn't something else in play....

Well, we'll get to that story in a few days. But the city recently released it's 2012 financial statement. Since this document is presented to financial types and not general citizens it is full of actual facts and figures. Gone from it are the rosy wishful pictures that the Berry Administration presents in the Albuquerque Progress Report. In the financial statement we see the hard numbers from years past and the current year.

A few weeks ago, KOB-4 ran a story that reported not only is the city losing jobs, but people are moving away from the city in record numbers (READ IT HERE). People are actually moving to that mess known as Washington DC in lieu of Albuquerque! They're moving to Nevada as well!

Well now, despite that fact that other cities who were hit MUCH harder in the 2008 recession are now thriving, Albuquerque is still in the doldrums. As the image here presents, permits for new construction are still going down. In fact they are almost half of what they were in 2008 and not even double of what they were in 2009. Comparing these numbers to years earlier you can see that Albuquerque as a city has virtually ground to a halt in terms of growth during Berry's term.

What is so shocking is that despite the best weather in the Country, an amazing landscape rich in history and culture, and convenient access to anywhere, Albuquerque continues to stagnate. Even Santa Fe is doing well and has seen progress that out paces Albuquerque.

There is only one problem keeping Albuquerque from moving forward: RJ Berry. Between his inability to exemplify true leadership with his city, his employees, and his department directors and the endless fiasco that is APD and Ray Schultz people are weary and see little hope for progress.

Without hope for the future, why bother investing for it today? Maybe the Sherman McCorkles, Jay McCleskeys, and Darren Whites can answer that for their failed mayor. While they are busy worrying about fringe Republican agendas (here's a hint fellas, not only does it not work, but it's antiAmerican) they are missing the very things that matter most to people: the future.

This is preposterous. its always the same people, the same vision, the same promises. Bottom line is that politicians are habitual liars. They cheat, from the citizens, on their wives, and steal as much booty as they can from what ever sources and side deals they can garner.
We need real people not phonies in government. We need leadership from the real working world, not these political pigs sucking like leeches on the taxpayer dole as they can't find honest work or aren't willing to do so.. We must cut entitlement programs, and that needs to start with every swinging D_ _ K at city Hall.
Elect WORKING class people with integrity instead of 'has been' political scam artists.

Nice of the city to block postings. If your so transparent Berry, why block viewings/postings? If your so transparent why not provide materials to DOJ instead waiting for a subpoeena?

I wish my private business could work out of police headquarters. Must be nice to let the public pay your property tax and utility bills. I guess all those junkets with Ray Ray pay off in the "end".

WOW WOW WOW,!!! Now it all makes sense! Blow many lives did Ray Schultz destroy to keep his affair a secret?!?! Now it's out of the bag!!!! DOJ, subpoena all of his travel expenses and trip itineraries. Now we know what Joey knows!!!!!!!!!

Dear Media,

Please verify the rumors of infidelity. If they are true then cross reference the offending parties with city paid trips. I want to know if our chief is just as bad as the guy in Detroit who was just fired for the same stupidity. If any of this is true, and our tax dollars paid for these liasons, then the Inspector General needs to open and investigation. Oh I forgot, Albuquerque doesn't have an IG because the last one quit.

Someone is in hiding.
Someone is such a sleazy coward that they deny even their mistress and abandon her as soon as he is caught cohabitating with her. What kind of whore has such a lack of self esteem to be used like a doormat?

Someone thought he was a FISHERman. His boat got sunk and now he's living in a MILLSTREAM with another rivershrimp.

Enjoy eachother because the scandal is going to break any day.

No wonder why adultery is condoned within APD.

If the rumor is try someone verify it. Put some sort of proof here. If the rumor is true one boat sank but first it got used for him to sign off on a bigger paycheck and budget every year for her and anyone or anything she asked for. If the rumor is true now we know why her company was using 400Roma when she was still with the City for five years after.

Here's a question, since the former apoa prez was so loose with our money, was some spent providing cover for these two!?!

Dear DOJ, Dear Media -- why do we need you? The posters on the eye have handed you all the wrongdoings of the APD administration on a platter. Follow up if you want don't if you don't want. Its all here out in the open. Dig a little deeper and you will find more. Dig into the financials of Karen Fischer and see what she pocketed. Dig into Kathy Levy and see how many contracts her husband Juan got. See how many contracts Cumbre Construction got. Yeah, that would be RJ's wife. The only one who got screwed is Connie Schultz. She may be worth speaking with when you are in town next week.

Ms Schultz cannot talk, spousal privelage - but look at how their child on the Dept has had their career managed compared to equal rank. No bidding but getting repeated assignments people with 20 years on would love to have. The Commander wanting to be the next Deputy Chief has used the kid at every chance to present "opportunities" for the kid which Dad is clearly grateful for, so Dad ignores red flags the Eye reported about the opportunist Commander.

Who is the Commander? Stop being so cryptic. This is a public forum and you are anonymous.

Whoa, Schultz has a dependant working for Apd?!?!?

Spousal privilege? Huh? Dipshit chief gets busted and she can't speak? Since when? Oh, right this is NM upsidedown land. Where wrong is treated as right, bad is good, and stealing is endorsed by the very folks tasked with enforcing the laws. Silly me, I thought tricks were for kids NOT chiefs of police and former judges.

How many paychecks and grant funded salaries does Karen Fischer get? What are they for?
Does she get a stipend to her sleezy cock tail dresses when out with the boys on out of town trips.
Heard San Diego trip was great for the boys and their 'boy toys'

Journal says NM Law Enforcement Protection Fund was used for some of the Chief's junkets... The Fund is meant for training, equipment, and planning.... What else that was barely in the rules was the Fund used for? Media - ask quick before they "reallocate" to correct "the error".
Journal also says some of the names of who traveled with the Chief were redacted. If nothing inappropriate happened why redact the names? Where State funds used for people to travel who shouldn't have been on the trips?

Since when are LEPF funds used for civilians?!?!
