The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Bloviate..... JAY McCleskey police reports.

Bloviate:
/ˈblōvēˌāt/ verb informal   1.talk at length, esp. in an inflated or empty way.

As the city settles in the shadow of the mayoral election, RJ's paper, the Albuquerque Journal, continues with their self congratulatory articles as to why and how RJ won reelection. The paper promotes RJ's success to the challenger's poor efforts to RJ's likability. Of course absent from any discussion is facts or any real meat regarding his endless failures. The paper endlessly bloviates aboute RJ this and RJ that in how he won. Or more interesting and objective review would've analyzed how RJ was not beaten and how RJ could not lose given the paper's endless fawning over RJ

Finally, out from the shadows comes RJ's political adviser: Jason McCleskey.  Of the election, Jason says, "We made a concerted effort to reach out to voters who had not supported Republican candidates in the 2012 election, particularly Hispanics and women. Mayor Berry had a very compelling message that resonated across the board.”

Compelling? We at the Eye know what's compelling. What's compelling is how RJ has such a cozy relationship with people who have documented records of breaking laws and rules. So, while Jason enjoys the $250,000+ paid to him by RJ thanks to the many donors who we've listed. Here's a little hint of Jason's history...and his true nature.

This is Berry's APD, no accountability. Since when is it OMI's job to do death notifications? I have been a cop for over 15 years and I have done many notifications. That is our job. Read your SOP. I hope KOAT does a follow up on this. Who ever told them that it isn't APD's responsibility needs to have their head examined. Of course the current PIO has so many days experience as a field cop (maybe 20) how could you expect her to know anything?

Jeeze- the schools should reinstate penmanship classes.

tsk tsk tsk, and yet none of this changes the election results. I despise Berry, but I suspect the vote was simply, a lesser of 3 evils. How unfortunate for Albuquerque.

1998! Really. Come on Eye this was over fifteen years ago, whatever happened to forgiveness? You are always on your high horse about Christian principles, well how about forgiving Jay for this? Or do you hold it against him forever and go to church Sunday (definition of hypocrite).

If you are going to go back 15 years then start researching all the media talking heads around here. There is one who has a family fight from over 20 years ago. Are you going to hold that against him? Or how about looking at all the city workers. Do a background on all of them and print their DUI's and family fights from 10, 20, or 30 years ago.

McClesky is good at his job. This was a cheap shot. Instead of smearing how about sticking to the issues. Hold yourself to a higher standard.

What is wrong with APD? Why didn't someone go and notify this woman that her husband was dead? Did they know who he was that night? APD needs to answer some questions here.

I agree with 10:25. This site used to be good at getting out info and staying above the nonsense that some individuals would post. But lately the eye has gotten immature. Get back to exposing the issues some may not know about and leave the childish stuff to tje posters

Re: 1998!

Who said we did not forgive McCleskey? That's right, you did...

We forgave but we did not forget. The facts speak for themselves.

The poster commenting on giving it up is a fucken hoser. Could you even imagine the outcrying these baby pussy republicunts would be having if this were Dinelli's campaign manager? It would be never ending. But here's my question, does the EYE have MCCLeski's 47 report? Might want to check that one out. And oh yeah, might want to seen when these incidents occurred and who he was working for when this shit was going on. Keep hacking away Eye.

I am appalled at the lack of sworn officers out in the field! I mean, really???? Does the Balloon Fiesta use Cadets or sworn officers to direct traffic into and out of the Fiesta and parking lots. If it's sworn officers then there's a huge disconnect between administration and what the City's policing needs are.

Oh poor Jay! He got shit-faced and beat up his baby mama. But it was years ago! So we should shower him with Christian love and forgiveness, while he runs around the state acting like the damned anti-Christ. McCleskey hasn't changed. The police have. They won't write the reports on the drunken woman beating scumbag like they used to, now that he owns the mayor and the governor.

My point exactly. Stick to the issues now. Han, Ellis, DOJ, Animal Control etc. When the only mud you can drag up is a misdemeanor from 15 years ago you lose track of what you should be doing. Keep on track with the current issues.

And this McCleskey is good at his job huh?!?! And just what is this weasel's job?

*************************

Getting his candidate elected, which he did in historic fashion.

Probably is a snake in the grass, but he kind of gets paid to be one. Politics is a nefarious place.

Animal Control has a blind pitbull whose ears were chopped off with scissors and tail docked crudely the same way but the sick bastards who had him tried 3 times before they could cut it off. Animal Control said they have to take the dogs eyes out. No they don't! I've seen this condition in other pit bulls. treated with medication and the eyes can heal. Why torture this animal more! He's already been thru hell!

I agree who cares about Jay. We don't need to forgive him only his victim needs to forgive him and lets stick by current issues. This was long ago just like their previous posts that was over five years old, no one cares. I didn't know that someone else was running this site now but it all makes sense with the old stuff being headlines here. The channel 7 story should have been a main topic here not Jay, really who cares about a DV that occurred so long ago.

RE; I agree who cares about Jay.

Well, let's see; Jay does, Berry does, the Republican party does, the gal he beat the hell out of does, the public should if he a drunk driver and enjoys beating up women, and YOU SHOULD TOO! Right JAY? lmfao
