The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. And the Snakes Start Slithering

Congratulations to Albuquerque’s Mayor Berry! Our Local Mayor has given the City’s CAO (Chief Administrative Officer), Rob Perry, a whooping raise for all of his hard work.

Here is the breakdown:

Berry was paying Perry $145,600.00 per year, see the breakdown as follows:

 $70.00 per hour

$560.00 per day

$2,800.00 per week

$11,200.00 per month

Now Perry is worth a lot more since Berry won re-election.  The following is the new breakdown at $$$180,000.00 per year:

$86.53 per hour

$692.30 per day

$3,461.53 per week

$13,846.15 per month

Does anybody in their “right” mind believe this guy is worth $13, 846.15 per month?  Berry lauded himself by stating, the economy was tough and “we” tightened our belts… We can only assume the economy has completely recovered, everyone who wants a job has one and everything is peachy keen here in Albuquerque!

We all know that is simply not true. This comes down to fleecing the public in the worst way and at the worst of times.  Keep all this in mind when Berry wants your vote again for Congress…

You can’t make this kind of stuff up.  It is criminal to overpay this person and it’s even more so when the person approving it knows it is wrong.

Oh, and congratulations to all those who voted for Berry; Great job!  We are recommending you go buy some pant with bigger pockets.  You ask why? Because your crack is showing; it could be from the weight of all the snakes Berry keeps giving you and you will need more room to fit the rest of the snakes Berry has planned for you.  Yes, we get facetious here at the Eye; it is only to make a point.  At least you got out and voted, right?

The public should be outraged but apparently nobody cares anymore.  Has the citizens of Albuquerque been misled and abused so long and so bad that everyone has become completely desensitized to the moral barometer as to what is right and what is wrong?  What message does this send to our children and our grandchildren?

Perry is a bargain. The question is why are we still paying Berry. It is obvious who is running the city.

Rob Perry was involved with changing the no settlement policy and approving all the $55 million in settlements dished out on cases that were not defended by the City over the last 4 years, with at least $3 million going to Paul and Joe Kennedy, thanks to Kathy Levy. Perry was also the one who leaked the video and pictures to the Journal on the CNAU unit. Lets not forget his conduct at the Mary Hahn death scene with Darren White and Alan Banks. Perry also contributed $2,500 to Berry's re-erection. Talk about a return on investment! A hatchet man man for all seasons. He will now walk away with a government pension grossly inflated by his high three with the City over the next 3 years. Perry will have 8 years with the City,at least 8 years with the State (working for Udall and Johnson) for a total of 16 years service times 3% for 48% resulting in a $86,400 a year pension ($180,000 X 48% = $86,400)

Getting rid of Schultz "priceless"

10:12 it was also Perry who leaked out the video of the Southeast Bike Officers which turned Conner Rice's life upsidedown and I'm sure Perry had his nasty paws in the criminals acts they did upon Doyle and Woolever.

Thank you Mr Perry, but we don't think you or Berry should have a job!

Past practice in AFD is to promote firefighters to driver after completing paramedic school. This was enacted years ago to recruit members to go to the school. Why does AFD Chief Breen's son get this promotion to Driver after completing paramedic school recently, and then Chief Breen stops all future promotions for everyone else?
Breen could have changed the system before his son went to paramedic school, but didn't. Sounds like preferential treatment to me.
What's next, Breen's son gets to be on a Engine or Ladder instead of a Rescue unit like every other paramedic has done?
Breen is just another fucking politician out for himself, family and cronies.
Guess City Hall, APD, and AFD all have something in common, shitty leadership with no morals, and lack of integrity.
Breen; you, Perry, Berry, and your fucked up command staff give AFD a black eye, not the firefighters! Same goes for APD.
We are done with this bullshit mascarade to keep a "positive" image to the public. The public, mayor, and CAO obviously do not give a shit about us, so why should we care?

The story of the frog and the boiling water. This is just the start. Go back and look at the CH4 debate. Berry said he is looking at California for their retirement program. It is a 401K. So much for P.E.R.A.. Berry would not answer if he is in favor of the federal health care plan. So much for your health plan. I am sure some will say this is just sour grapes. Look for yourself and remember the frog in the boiling water. Sour grapes NO I CARE. Maybe Berry will toss all of you a few crumbs like a 1 or 2% RAISE. Oh that right he already cut your pay 3%.5

To add to what Sergeant Heh is saying here, berry’s flirtation with the Cali 410K retirement plan not only affects pending retirees and their benefits, but also goes on the attack of already retired PERA retirees. Not just APD and AFD, but all PERA retirees. The solvency of PERA is based on current and future PERA employees who contribute to the fund. This pot will dry up just like social security has because there are more drawing than contributing. The COA employs the most PERA contributors throughout the state, yet nothing was done to stop berry’s reelection. What a disgrace.

Do the citizens of ABQ know that Perry has also adopted the tax-payer funded skybox at Isotopes stadium as well. That drunk idiot is there for nearly every home stand. But what amazes me more are all the punkass 34's who try to ride his and Berry's coattails. Field guys, Command-level guys, former union guys, it doesn't matter.

I work for the county and pray like hell they switch to a 401K like plan.

I have no plans to work here for the 30 years.

Although, it should be an opt-out choice for employees, like many cities in the State. Corrales does not do PERA, neither does Clovis, lots of Water Authorities and such.

Why can't we have a choice?

Berry took away our choice of medical providers. HE chose Presbyterian for us. (Sad Face)....Why Would he give us a choice of retirement plans???

PERA is doing much better thanks to SB27. All of you "experts" about pensions probably did not read any of the actuary reports. You just drink the Susanna Fox News kool aid that loves the rich and hates everyone else.

So if you want a 401k please quit and work somewhere else. PERA is moving in the right direction. Most federal guidelines want pensions solvent at 80%. PERA is almost there and SB27 demands that it get to over 90%.

So quit drinking the kool aid from Berry/ Susanna / Fox news. Those people hate everyone but the 1% of rich. They hate immigrants, union members, workers who get pensions, teachers, the poor, the middle class, anyone who gets any government support (including social security and VA benefits). They hate all of you, yet you drink their kool aid.

What is wrong with you people?

Berry and Perry are nothing but dirt merchants.

I wonder how much in kickbacks Berry/Perry are getting from Presbyterian for getting a sweetheart deal with the City??

Anonymous said...

The Water Authority gives you the choice.

In-law has like 800K in his plan over there. Can continue to build it up as long as he wants to work.

Seems reasonable to give employee's the option.

Great meeting tonight....NOT
How could Stephanie back off....Banks says all officers have the ability to take the class to carry a rifle....Well who has to pay for the rifle, and who pays for the ammo. Last I checked I had to buy the rifle and I was told I had to pay for half of the ammo. I cant afford to pay out more than 2000 dollars!!!! Bullshit Banks Ask how many officers would take the class and carry a rifle if the department would provide the rifle!!!!!!! If you have the balls to ask, we know you have the big belly, not sure about the balls....What do you think Tasia? Does he??

There is a taxpayer funded skybox at isotopes? What's the bill? The county did away with this practice at Isleta. Why does the City have this?

Anonymous said...

Does the DOJ investigate nepotism, kickbacks to city administration for sweetheart deals like Pres got, refusing to negotiate union contracts, bidding fraud as in giving your construction buddies the deal instead of low bidders,or rigging it from the inside so your construction buddies have inside bidding info. You are all a bunch of Manny Aragons. You just haven't got caught because really nobody in the city is investigating you. I have a feeling the DOJ will want to look into these practices.

You should have seen Tourek last night. Fumbling all over himself when asked about Perry's contract and the legality of this raise.

Tourek looks like a pathetic replica of Will Farrell. Except Farrell is a genius compared to Tourek.

Haha! That's about the only good thing about Tourek..maybe that's it! It's all a dark comedic act, and he's playing Will Farrell and we're all supposed to laugh after he makes his stupid comments! Let's all laugh at him next council meeting..see if it works.

awww c'mon, Perry says "he has over $150,000 in student loans to pay and he makes less than his counterparts in similar cities like Tuscon, Arizona." so quit, wink, your bitching and get back to work slaves.

Anonymous said...

Yes Sir Mr Perry,
We are bending over right now! Please be gentle.....:)

This is the only city in the world a parasitic bigmouthed coward like Perry can flourish in like he does. If he pulled his shit in any other city, especially one of the cosastal ones, he would have more than his little student loans to cry about. He is nothing but a bloated one trick pony who can't live anywhere else until he retires because other cities are past the stone age.

Seems a lawsuit just got filed. It's in federal court but it's in DC's jurisdiction not NM. The topic means there will be no change of venue.

I do remember during apoa merting a motion was on the floor to poll the board on Fisher's position on treasurer and the board pulled a "tourek" and tabeled it.

Tourette's syndrome.... some of the symptoms include long winded explanations that have a similar effect as ingesting a benzoid, a constant stream of denial and ass covering, and finally, the inability to take personal responsibility for anything, and instead blame others for everything and everyone for mistakes and missteps this administration has made and continues to make. Tourette' s is also commonly known to cover for Perry, to a point of self-embarrassment.

Is it me or does Perry always look like he's constipated??? Dude...Metamucil!!
