The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Compliments of one of our Eyes

Dec 25, 2014

Ghost of Christmas Past....

Tis the season once again to look back and reminisce, remember, and reinforce memories of why we here in the Duke City have the mess in front of us that we have. Memories seem to run short, get clouded and sadly enough... get forgotten.
The internet is unforgiving and the Eye on Albuquerque is making it's list, and checking it twice. We plan to make sure that when 2015 comes, it is a year of long overdue accountability for the naughty and not nice. While those responsible for this mess are  nestled all snug in their beds with visions of BLOATED PERA CHECKS and KICKBACKS dancing in their heads, the lies, and past treachery arise from the dead.

Stink Stank Stunk
The former cause of this mess and resident coward in hiding, ex disgraced police chief Raymond D. Schultz, has chosen to recently poke his worthless head out. It must have been that uncontrollable urge to let out a lie or ten. Yes, it is amusing that we do not see hide nor tail of this turkey, but when we do, it is another colossal tale of untruthfulness that he spins with a strait face. You would think this confirmed liar would stay under his rock, but the lack of attention must have gotten to him. You see, this irrelevant little cancer is taking issue with accusations against him that he personally involved himself in a criminal investigation pushing for charges against Del Norte school principal Sandra Jo Sloan back in June of 2011 Why is this interesting you say?
Timing is the reason. Knowing how this administration works, and how they have done things since there was even a twinkle of a DOJ investigation, all you need to do is look at the patterns, behavior, reactions, and compare it all.  One thing is consistent. They all lie then hide when caught or to avoid being caught up further in their lies.

"Your soul is an appalling dump heap overflowing with the most disgraceful
assortment of rubbish imaginable mangled up in tangled up knots!"

After piquing our interest by this unexpected and odd surfacing, we here at the Eye decided to ask why. After that, we then asked Who, What, When Where and How? Then the twisted scam revealed itself, and how something that was once all about one selfish coward enveloped everyone around him, until it destroyed an entire police department, a city and numerous lives.

Something like a Department of Justice investigation just does not all of the sudden happen. There is rumor, speculation, and leaks over time as it approaches. Questions get asked, and people make phone calls, especially the fearful possible targets of such an investigation. It builds up until the point is reached to where all the speculation is either confirmed or dismissed. That day was Tuesday November 27th 2012, the day Kenneth J. Gonzales announced much to the chagrin of Mayor Richard Berry and FORMER police chief Raymond D. Schultz that they were going to launch an investigation into the Albuquerque Police Department. Knowing that this was a possibility from at least August 1st 2011, when the city council voted 5 to 4 for a DOJ investigation, but was then stalled and obstructed by Berry's veto, Schultz and this administration did everything they could to obstruct, if not totally roadblock the investigation by planning, conspiring, and contriving schemes, intimidating and tampering with witnesses, and cases, abusing the judicial system, destroying and or hiding evidence, maliciously prosecuting, or attempting to maliciously prosecute cases and lying under oath themselves or directing others to do the above before, during, and after the launch of the investigation. Since this was a boiling topic before the city council vote, this means there was warning going back to mid 2010 after the killing of Kenneth Ellis III, that the city council may push for a Department of Justice investigation into the Department. Looking at this time frame, we have from mid 2010 until the completion of the DOJ investigation on April 10, 2014 to fill in the pieces.

In November of 2010 prominent Albuquerque attorney Mary Han was found murdered in her home, and the crime scene was handled in such an unacceptable and unprofessional criminal manner that the Attorney General admonished the department for it's actions that day. Mrs. Han had just dissolved her partnership with her law firm partner, and was in the process of investigating numerous claims of civil rights violations involving many alleged prostitute contacts with APD personnel. While all of this was going on, the murder of 11 victims found in the West Mesa of the City of Albuquerque on February 2nd of 2009 was already a cold case. Word was that Mrs. Han was on to a possible prostitution ring. In June 2011, former UNM professor Chris Garcia aka "Burque Pops" gets arrested for running the internet prostitution ring, SOUTHWEST  COMPANIONS. None other than Lieutenant at the time William Roseman holds a press conference announcing the arrest. One media outlet reported that the membership base reportedly includes individuals from a cross-section of society, and Darren White was actually quoted as saying "There are probably some very nervous people out there right now." How about that? Our Eyes have told us the hard drives seized from Burque Pops contain the names and IPs of several high ranking politicians, city and state officials. Would this be enough to make ghosts out of people? We think so.

The Burque Pops case gets dismissed, and APD moves onto another investigation. As the city council of Albuquerque prepares to vote on bringing in the DOJ to investigate APD on August 1 of 2011, Keith Sandy of the Vice unit sensationalizes the arrest of former District Court Judge Pat Murdoch by arresting him at his office on Tuesday July 19, 2011 just prior. In August city council voted yes on the DOJ investigation and the Mayor Vetoes it. Pat Murdoch's case gets tossed out too.

In February of 2011, APD officers Doyle and Woolever apprehend an armed fleeing felon wanted for murder and numerous violent felonies without resorting to deadly force. They are cleared by their commander. As the city council DOJ vote draws near Schultz devises a second distraction tactic, and reopens an investigation into officers Woolever and Doyle, subsequently terminating them. While all of this is going on Christopher Torres is shot and killed in April of 2011 and Alan Gomez is shot in the back and killed while unarmed in front of his home in May of 2011. Remember how we told you things just don't happen. Apply this philosophy to city contracts and bureaucracy and they really don't just happen. It takes time. On January 17th of 2013 Tazer inked a 1.5 million dollar open ended contract with the city that was greased by Schultz in his own words. That plan was in the works since July of 2011, when APD got their first Tazer shotguns. In November of 2011 Doyle and Woolever are fired and Schultz, Jason Peck along with others are subsequently caught in lies involving the case and investigation. Now add in some more diversions and distractions and we are full circle now with what brought our attention to this matter in the first place, Schultz's meddling in the prosecution of a School Principal and several other matters to protect his own hide and the hides of his friends and people he owes favors to. Now we know exactly what they mean when they say "following orders from whoever tells us what to do" It is as clear as a bell now.

Christmas Present
In the custom of staying consistent in the only thing those running APD ever stay consistent in; extortion, retaliation, blame deflection, and ruining lives, and lying,  investigators from the same units are again directed to guide another investigation into another preconceived direction, by corrupt officials in order to cover for individuals, promote their agendas, and keep their track record of justified murders not getting prosecuted. Yet again, another shiny object is thrown out there to take attention away from the corrupt and prosecution of those deserving it; the Brandenberg investigation. It seems old Turkey Neck Schultz schooled his underlings well in the art of subversion and treacherous tactics. They have learned from the best how to abuse their positions to keep the cover ups going, and to deflect attention. Nothing has changed, and the officers in this case even admit how eerily similar their investigation was to the Murdoch case. It is evident that individuals running APD have turned the agency into a Criminal Enterprise worthy of most in depth criminal investigation since the Knapp Commission.
They have lied to the media, the courts and to the citizens. They have devised intricate plans and proceeders for optimizing the spread of lies beneficial to them by releasing such information only on the first three days of a week and never on a weekend. When the information to be released is damning to their agendas, it is released on a Friday late in the day and they hide from being interviewed or asked questions. All of the water carriers who have proven themselves loyal to this regime have been protected, promoted or rewarded for the water they have carried.

The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come
As we reach 2015, we here at the Eye want everyone not to lose sight of the big picture here. Keep your eye on the big present; discovery, investigation, and prosecution of everyone and anyone that is covering for official corrupt criminal abuse of power and office and those legally advising those involved in these activities exposed and stripped from employment, office and financial gain. The city needs to be made whole again. Schultz has used his position, the department, employees, the citizens and any means necessary to fill his pockets like a coward. 2015 should be the year he is held accountable for it. Not only him, but those in the city attorney's office who have assisted him, those in positions throughout the political landscape, active and retired who have been a part of this, and those in the media who have protected him...Kent. We know who all of you are, and what all of you have done.

Stay relentless this holiday season and keep the heat on. There's many chestnuts to roast. So, Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

What is the status of the Taser Schultz pay to play investigation?

Any APOA officer who would like to comment anonymously on how Eden and his Command Staff stole the retention bonus that was meant for you (remember 27 officers with 17 years on were forced out so the command staff could steal your money) please call Dan McKay at the Journal 823 3566.

You should also call your city council at 768 3100.

They want to hear from you. All they are getting is Stephanie Lopez, Eden, Huntsman and Roseman spin. Step up and call. Tell them what you think about Lopez cutting this deal behind your backs (and putting a knife in it) so that Eden and Company could steal your pay raises! Demand an investigation into Lopez and Roseman for lying to the city council. A lie by omission is still a lie. Dear was fired for much less. Demand that the Command Staff be held to a higher standard!

The ball is in your court, you can remain anonymous. Show some courage and call!

It is glaringly obvious that this administration uses the timing of these incidents or flat out fabricates these types of distractions to hinder the discovery of their own illegal actions. From the times this information is released correlated with other issues going on simultaneously that they either want to hide or bring attention to, this is pure manipulation. Taking into account how they have lied time and time again, and constantly get caught, this is criminal. Schultz has always used the media to do this. It looks like the media is not having it anymore. Schultz can't keep track of his lies, and inconsistencies. He has been assisted by that Sociopath editor over at the journal and schooled, coached and defended by his personal city attorney Levy. There is another pattern. That city attorney has had her hand in every filthy dirty case that Schultz has ever been involved in where he has done someone dirty. She had an office right next to his and has been seen hanging out like BFFs with Feist at the country club drinking. They are all involved in this, and continue to do damage control for all the shit they have pulled, and there has been alot of it. SID has historically been the chief's Gestapo and go to unit for hus dirty work. If properly conducted, an in depth investigation would take them all down, remove theur pensions, and put them all where they belong; in orange jumpsuits behind bars.

Wow, what a cluster of a department!!!! Top to bottom. Sounds like it's been a well known cluster for a long time now too. I get the impression that the only people in denial that the cluster runs top to bottom are those stuck inside of it. I actually see them defending this mess from time to time. I see the veiled and even direct threats of violence from cops on this board all the time towards those who might question or criticize them. It's disgusting but it's exactly what the public has come to expect from thugs. I want to know how anyone currently employed at APD can say anything good about the disaster that is APD with a straight face. Halitosis may well be better than not breathing at all, but it still sucks and those around it will suffer, just as the people suffer from APD.

All the finger pointing seems to be focused on management, while the rank and file just wallow along, knee deep in horse shit, acting like they don't smell of the same shit they are wallowing around in. Shit tends to rub off and stick to things it touches. Shit stinks. APD has become a great big steaming pile of stinky shit and everyone in it smells exactly the same. None of you are immune from the smell because you all tolerate and condone the same shit. Guilt by association and all that. Well here's an eye opener. Cops that associate with criminal cops are also guilty by association. That's life. That's the real world. If your career prospects are such that APD is the best you can do, well, please don't ever leave. The rest of the civilized world thanks you!

Reading the article on the school principal, you can see where Schultz falls back on using Feist as a go between. He makes it obvious that was his pre formatted plan and excuse. Schultz is full of shit. Feist took orders from Schultz. Same thing. Schultz oversaw all of this, or had someone directly under him order investigators to do his bidding. Weather it was these guys.....Sandy, Buckner, or Peck, they were all given their marching orders either by Schultz, or through the chain coming from Schultz when he thought he needed to be distanced from involvement or needed deniability. The commonality here was that all of their actions were malicious, intentional, and planned, and they all resulted in a big pile of nothing. They wasted tax payer's money and resources using APD as their own personal cover up and disinformation machine. Schultz is a liar and now it is catching up to him like it does with all liars. Now Feist is up at the LEA hearing cases as a hearing officer and still pulling strings. These rats need to be removed from their positions.

Put Stephanie Lopez and Bill Roseman on the liars list.

They both lied by omission to the City Council about how 27 beat cops would be fucked so that the command staff can make thousands more.

I urge every cop, retired and current to take the opportunity to turn you back on the APD Command Staff and Mayor Berry. All they have done is fucked you over the last five years, while "greasing" their own pocket books.

It always amazes me how you can put everything in front of some people, and spell it all out and trey still miss it. There is a lot to see here. This is why nothing is ever done. It is because things go right over people's heads, because they have the memory of goldfish. I comprehended the article entirely. It is all in the dates. This is the most disgusting and cowardly part about Schultz. Sometimes it has absolutely nothing at all to do with the person. It is the timing. The dates of all of those investigations and cases Schultz was pushing were all connected with the DOJ investigation, and how he could grandstand the other incidents to take the heat from himself and divert attention away from what he and his cohorts were doing. Take some initiative from this and cross reference other incidents even further, with some of these dates like Darren White's wife's crash and the fallout over that. Every time these criminals get caught doing something, magically the mother of all cases pops up in the beginning of the next week to remove it from the minds of the masses. It takes a special kind of sociopathic criminal to do these things to people. There is a ton to see here and even more if you open your eyes and realize just what has been done right in front of you while you were moving along. This guy needs to answer for not only his actions, but he needs to be punished for what he has put people through in order to cover up for those actions. A federal investigation, indictment and diversion of his PERA into the bank accounts of victims of his malicious actions is a good start. I will bet he would roll on everyone else when faced with 20 years in federal prison. Most guilty cowards do.

APD under Schultz and Eden has a reputation of destroying their enemies character. Pat Murdoch, Garcia from UNM, the Del Norte Principal, Brandenburg, Doyle, Woolover, Dear, the list goes on and on.

So why doesn't the DOJ step in and investigate the slander that Schultz and Eden have ordered to to destroy their enemies? The DOJ is worthless so long as they continue to turn a blind eye to the management of APD and their gestapo tactics they use against their enemies. Nothing changes at APD until the DOJ holds Schultz and Eden accountable for ruining careers without pressing charges. Want proof? Just listen to the Bradenburg tape at KRQE. APD plotted to ruin her career. Come on DoJ do something here.

Some of you understand that APD has diverted attention from their own corruption and misconduct by bringing sensational charges against public figures. Regardless of how false their allegations turn out to be, the damage has been done--reputations damaged, careers ruined. Darren White, Ray Schultz et al. have used the sensationalist, scandal-mongering media to their own advantage. The tabloid media regurgitate APD's charges and don't think of investigating and looking for the TRUTH of the stories (such as Murdoch, Garcia, Han, KB, etc). Even though the truth comes out later and/or charges are dismissed, the damage has been done and Berry, White, Schultz, et al. get away scot free!

12/26.7:20. I completely agree with you about Schultz and the players we are all very familiar with being involved in criminal activities that would put me or you behind bars. And when we ask why isn't Schultz in prison, most folks think it's his money or influence. But it's not --it's scarier than that --he's been overlooked for investigation by FBI / DOJ you name it. Why? Why hasn't any investigative body looked at Taser-gate, looked at Berry and Perry under the microscope for all their misdeeds? Heck, even the Journal is starting to come around. And it's not as if the Feds haven't heard all these allegations . Why no investigation?

Has anyone even connected the thought of the west mesa murders being tied into the Murder of Mary Han? The time frames fit and Schultz was in position during this time. I think this information has been seriously overlooked by the uninformed citizen.
What could have Mary found out?
Could these murdered women have known damning things about officials that got them killed? Did the accused prostitutes give Han information about politicians and police brass who were sleeping with them or their murdered friends? This whole thing reeks, and to think the treacherous lengths these vermin have gone to avoid getting caught. They are all no better than the criminals out their murdering and molesting children.

To 7:20 et all- there are no crackdowns/investigations by the Feds ( even though there should be and do happen in other cities) because of the special fatal geography of I-25 & I-40 which feed/support the billion $$ drug/gang business, which could not be so lucrative without the assistance/support of all agencies including the Feds, who will not bite the hands that feed. Right be DG ore the DOJ announcement in Nov 2012, our City Council passed on $ 741,000 from feds to APD supposedly for drug crime.Whatever.
Check out asset forfeiture in NM, soooo very lucrative. So even with blatant criminal conduct, APD is immune to prosecution- this consent decree is placating critics and creating $ opportunities, but there is no hard crackdown. Read about the FBI sting in Chicago in 1982=Operation Greylord when feds knocked out cops, prosecutors & judges. Will never happen here. NM is a dump, and our young are sacrificial lambs to this corruption.

Because this teacher questioned APD having officers in schools. She felt that APS has its own police department and APD should only be called in the worst cases. Schultz uses his APD SRO to do gang intel. He knew APS did not agree with classifying high schoolers as gang members within law enforcement databases.
Without the sro numbers the gang stats would plummet

I would like to commend Hector Balderas for his actions and the courage to do what he needed to do. It is obvious this man conducted his intel into the AG's office long ago, and knew the fat he had to cut. This is priceless. Now to hear this dead weight cry about the timing of the holidays and being single parents. Well you selfish bastards don't care when you clinically ruin people's lives with your disregard for fairness and the truth. This is what you get.
If this message is anything close to what is coming, Schultz may have a hell of a lot to worry about in the very near future when the new AG inducts this slimy, pink, soft bodied, little coward for his Tazer kick back pay to play bid rigging and tampering scandal.
It would be epic to see them all taken down by the cowardly creep they have all defended.

Dies anyone see the big picture here. This guy was misappropriating grant money and fudging stats which leads to more money, which eventually lead to his reward and employment with Tazer. What better way to line yourself up with a kickback, than with someone else's money, federal grant money. It is obvious that this criminal will do anything to keep his pockets full.

Everyone who thinks they are going to get the Retention Bonus figured into their PERA retirement better think again. The settlement requires that the APOA and City reopen the contract and place the retention bonus into the permanent salary part of the contract. Until that happens PERA will NOT be recalculating any pensions. Furthermore the settlement makes the 2nd MOU date, December 17 2014, as the starting point. So all money received since the 1st of November will never be figured in. Lastly, the command staff is totally out as the settlement agreed that it must be in the permanent salary part of the APOA contract. Guess what? The command staff is NOT represented by the APOA contract. So Roseman, Huntsman, Gonterman etc will NOT get their pensions spiked, not unless Berry gives them these raises in their salaries.

So don't believe the Eden bull shit. Read the settlement order yourself and ask good old Stephanie when they will meet to open the APOA contract and put the retention bonus in. Also ask her why she is representing the Command Staff and screwing over 27 of her APOA members?

APD is a mess. Shameful how everyone in power, the Command Staff and the APOA president are fucking over the beat cop.

To All who comment about their support for APD and how much we should appreciate them:
Please READ THIS--Yes,we support the good police officers in APD and generally support police forces who truly protect and serve the citizenry.
However, it should be obvious to everyone by now that there is a serious problem in APD. Let's root out the problems--primarily in the leadership past and present--and have a community-supported, effective, efficient, honest APD. Please don't whitewash the entire APD with positive platitudes. It is obvious that the problems are with most of the Leadership--from Lieutnants to Chief and Mayor. (Think Berry, Schultz, Eden, Roseman, D. White, and others mentioned in the Eye). Let's clean it up and make APD better!

Your comment reflects high ideals and a noble approach and no one can disrespect you for that. However, when one begins to get a grasp on the breadth and depth of the problem, it appears that "high ideals and noble approach" is not sufficient to "fix it".ie: If by some magical event ALL the trash in APD were douched out today, by this week-end you could probably get a patrol car with all the bells and whistles for $1.98; reason being that all the previous drivers would have become "chefs" at Le Bistro Mickey Dee's or Chez Burger Barf.

Also, I don't know how you decided that I have the mayor's footprints on me - never had any contact with him or any of his posse, no fear of him and no concern about what he thinks or does.
#4: "As far as bottom feeding goes, you are the ones satisfied with the scraps dropped to you by the mayor and his pals." Reread #3 above.
#5: "What's worse is the juvenile assumptive comments about skate boards". If I'm wrong - apologies.
