The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. 44 Million Reasons to Vote Berry OUT of OFFICE!

The City of Albuquerque which is led by Mayor RJ Berry is exposed by KOAT Channel 7 News (SEE it HERE).   The City of Albuquerque spent 44 million dollars on settlements last year.  This is shocking but Berry and company added “insult to injury” by lying over and over and over again.

The City of Albuquerque first told Channel 7 news reporter, Lauren Zakalik, the City had spent 4 million dollars in settlements and then the City told Zakalik it was 8 million dollars.  After asking a third time, nothing, then the fourth and final time with a set of documents to prove more was spent; the truth came out.  The City spent a grand total of 44 million dollars of your money.
For most of us, we may never make a total of 1 million dollars through the entire course of our lives. Yet, the City gave out forty-four times the amount of money a person may make in a lifetime, all in one single year.  According to COA Perry; neither he nor the City of Albuquerque knew 44 million dollars was missing out of the City’s check book.
In Zakalik’s interview Chief Administrative Officer, Rob Perry, stated, “Clearly there were more questions than answers,” Here is the City’s CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER admitting he is dumbfounded.  This is the City’s top official who is an attorney telling the world he is not in control of the City and has no idea what the hell is going on in the City.
Want more proof?  Perry continues to state, “I was pretty disappointed, and I want to thank KOAT for bringing about some accountability…”  Does this mean if Channel 7 would never have caught the City’s blunders, nothing would have been known about it?  This administration doesn’t care about you or the community.  The Berry administration is undoubtedly incompetent and ill responsible.
Mayoral Candidate Paul Heh stated during his announcement, “If you were missing $400 out of your account; you would know…Oh no, but not the City; they did not know that 44 million dollars (a tenth) of the City’s entire budget was missing; gone?  Really?”  This statement rang very clean; the City’s failed leadership is not accountable or responsible and they lie constantly.
(SIDE BAR)
The City of Albuquerque under the failed leadership of Berry, Perry and Schultz remind us of a famous quote by Republican President, Ronald Reagan:
'Government is like a baby. An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other.'
Ronald Reagan
This is a perfect description of Berry’s failed leadership of the City of Albuquerque.

(END SIDE BAR)

Mayor Berry is playing a cheap game of trying to make everyone sweat it out.  Berry is not going to seek public assistance.  He has his wife’s money and the entire BIG DOLLAR political machine who will stuff his pockets full of cash like some cheap topless table dancer.  Berry will announce sometime around April.  This will block other candidates from having equal media time.

Folks, we did not make this up, we all need to stand up and VOTE for Paul Heh for Mayor.  Let’s clean up this mess by placing a responsible and accountable leader like Heh into office.

Read the Journal today and see another arrogant response from the failure schultz about his gallavanting on state money. AGAIN, This creep attacks everyone who criticizes him by saying that his critics are not qualified to know what a chief's job is. From the looks of things, you flabby bag of shit, you are not qualified to know what a chief does.

This fraud gets to fly around the world on bullshit. We all know that these police executives take advantage of the system. Cocktails, 5 star accomodations, high end rent a cars, expensive meals..... That's just the beginning. What else goes on that the citizens don't know about? Everyone else is scrimping on things and happy to get training while staying in a Motel 6 and eating modestly. Not this motherfucker.

Officers are told to buy their own ammo for carbine training and denied travel for their training off site, but this hypocrit goes away all year long.

I can't think of a more slimy piece of excrement that has worn a chief's uniform. This creep continues to blame officers for the DOJ coming in. No, you scum bag, they are here for you. You and your punks have covered up so much shit that APD is a mess. And No, You screwed over officers to get your criminal ass out of the spotlight. Well, that didn't work, now did it piss boy. The DOJ is here and anything you do now to cover for yourself now is an obstruction of justice.

It looks like schultz made a few bad decisions. Ask him where he is residing these days. The department is a mess because of his bad decisions. The city has lost 44 million because of his bad decisions and they will lose a lot more due to his bad decisions even after his stench has left this place.

But don't make the best choice that you can make and resign because it is going to be heartwarming to see the DOJ take you out in handcuffs. Liar.

Chief's in the paper again. Loser kicked out of the house assclown just doesn't know how to deal with criticism with class. The Department of Justice is here for you Ray. Pinch yourself and wake up. Absolutely no self control. None.

RAY'S WORLD:

EVERYONE ELSE IS WRONG!
THE OFFICERS ARE THE PROBLEM, NOT ME, BECAUSE I'M ONLY THE CHEIF AND I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING, BUT I KNOW THOSE THAT CRITICIZE ME DON'T KNOW AS MUCH AS I DO.

FOR A GUY WHO NEVER KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT IS GOING ON, HE SURE KNOWS THAT EVERYONE ELSE DOESN'T KNOW AS MUCH AS HIM.

WHAT A PATHETIC JOKE THIS GUY IS. IF HE HAD AN OUNCE OF BRAINS, HE WOULD RESIGN TODAY BEFORE THE SHIT REALLY GETS OUT.

OH YEA, AND EVERYONE WHO DOESN'T AGREE WITH HIM IS OUTDATED, AND HAS NO CLUE BECAUSE THEY ARE RETIRED.THERE IS NO EXPIRATION DATE ON HONOR AND INTEGRITY. A GOOD MAN ONCE SAID "IF YOU ARE GOING TO LIVE LIKE THERE IS NO GOD, YOU BETTER BE RIGHT"

Today's Journal is a perfect example of who Ray Schultz is. His attitute of, "YOU CAN'T KNOW ME BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT A CHIEF" to anyone who questions or is a critic of how he has run APD shows his arrogance toward officers and the community. I agree with the question from the article, after pointing out all the failings of Schultz and APD the question is, if this is not what we grade the chief on, then what do we grade Schultz's performance on?

I guess in Schultz world only other buddies (chiefs) are able to review him. So citizens, retired officers, current officers etc, none of us have the ability to judge him, his conduct or his performance.

This guy needs to be fired. Maybe that will get his attention. He is accountable, to the people.

I just hope Shultz's wife is as tired of his shit as the rest of us are. Frikon Karma if she kicks him to the curb like the dog he is and takes 49% of his PERA. That is still way more than he deserves to make, but its a good start to his fall from the crystal palace, fuker.

I would like to point out that this "critic" is concerned with the value of the trips and conferences during a time when APD is involved in turmoil. What do we have to show that improved based on these trips and conferences? They may have been a benefit to the city, but what was the return on that investment? This is a valid and deserved question since tax payer money was used .
It is a true embarrassment to the entire police department and community that the DOJ is even in town looking into APD. Do the DOJ investigators happen to be qualified to assess the "work of a police chief" since they most likely were never police chiefs themselves. What a ridiculous response by Schultz to valid criticism.
I find it very telling that Schultz's response is to claim that his critics are not qualified to assess his work because they never held the position or have been gone for a few years. This shows how disconnected Schultz is. Who knows what his definition is of "work of a police chief". What does that mean anyway?
I would rather focus on his performance as a leader. If we do this, then everyone in the APD, city and entire community is more than qualified to assess his performance. Let's ask if the department is in better shape during his tenure and see what the facts show.
Let's ask about department morale......and about community relationships. A real leader would be very concerned with morale since it will ultimately impact how the department is viewed by the community. If you treat your department employees the right way, then you can expect them to treat the community the same way.
Is it a coincidence that department morale is at an all time crisis level low and at the same time the DOJ has seen fit to come to Albuquerque? Successful organizational leaders understand this relationship with employee and customer (community) satisfaction and put in place initiatives to ensure they can impact this relationship in a positive and effective way.
I find it interesting that Schultz has never proactively created an anonymous employees satisfaction survey to gain insight into department morale. The police union did their own survey and when the overwhelming numbers showed they had no faith in Schultz, what was his response? He attacked the critics just like he did in this case.
A real leader would have been very concerned and taken steps to work on that relationship internally. A real leader would not blame everything and everyone else as Schultz had done for his almost 8 year tenure as chief. However, Schultz isn't an effective leader and that is what APD needs now....a leader running APD............not someone just doing the "work of a police chief".
Schultz should have stepped down years ago and when he didn't, Mayor Berry should have removed him. APD and the entire community has suffered because of Schultz's ineffective and plain lack of leadership. Don't take my word for it.....especially since I've been gone for 6 years.....ask anyone currently with APD or that has recently left and see what they tell you.....you will be shocked.

To Paul Heh, you've accused the Mayor, of covering up wrong doings. How would you as Mayor handle the fatal accident involving one of your own?

There was fatal accident early Sunday morning that took the life of a 21 year old female.

Tough questions need to be asked and investigated involving this accident?

Is there a potential conflict of interest between the involved APD Officer and BCSO investigating the accident?

Who or where did the report of the drunk driver come from i.e. (drunk busters hotline, 242-COPS, 911).

Who is the person responsible for reporting the drunk driver? What is the reporting persons call back number? What is the first and last name of the person reporting the drunk driver? What was the reported make, model, color of vehicle and if possible the license plate number. Where was the last reported known location of the suspected drunk drivers travel or area of town?

All calls to the drunk busters number, 911, 311, 242-COPS non-emergency, are recorded and archived (city and county). Is there any recording of this person reporting a drunk driver?

Was the involved officer alcohol and drug tested immediatly after the accident while at the hospital? If so, what are the results?

Was the 19 year old driver tested for drugs and alcohol?

Was this officer logged on to his MDT? Was the officer on duty or off duty?

Was the Sgt. dispatched to search for a suspected drunk driver? Were there other officers in the area searching for the same reported drunk driver?

Merely having the lights and sirens engaged does not give the officer exclusive rights to drive at a high rate of speed, disregard traffic laws and put all others on the road in peril.

Schultz reminds me of the Emperor Has No Clothes. He struts around like he is mister know it all. He promotes people who do not have the courage to tell him the truth about the problems he has created and he only hangs out with "other chiefs" since they are the only ones who can critique each other.

What a mess. Schultz needs to resign or be fired. His comments to the Journal today are the utmost of arrogance. The department is falling apart under his leadership. If he will not face the facts then the mayor should. If the mayor will not then the city council should demand that he step down. Why do we have to wait until the election in October to remove this incompetent fool?

I would like to see how many trips did Schultz take with Karen Fischer? Taxpayers are funding these love trips so we deserve to know.

Breaking News KOAT just reported that Sgt Pat Ficke resigned today after being arrested over the weekend in Rio Rancho for domestic violence.... An argument started over a text message.. Bet Veronica found his cellphone and saw messages left by a certain female that seems to enjoy the company of others on the 5th floor and on out of town trips.... Wasn't Ficke a PIO and one of Ray's BOYS???????????

GEEEEEZ we sure hope the DOJ is going to talk to the field service officers and not just the higher up's that are KISSING ASS for a promotion.. Gotta make sure they ride with officers that aren't on the Sergeants list either...

Gonna guess Jessica garate won't be reporting on ficke, seems she may have caused the little spat, since in tv if you are personally connected to a story you can't report it, ha what a small world what goes around comes around, what was your husband thinking you were gonna do with your store boughts......ha with a cop haha

Anonymous said...

Good for Veronica, she may gave Ficke one two three many chances but she did what was needed to be done. She called police to save her kids. She made an example by showing all the other cheating wife beaters in SID guys that a mother/wife will not take .this digusting fugggin shit. Also all those badge bunnie horrors that have extramarital affairs with married man, look what happens!! Its all fun in games until someone gets hurt. let me ask you Mrs. Garate are does this make a good story that children were abused, wife was beaten and lives could have been taken??

@948 - don't lump all SID together with that scum. Some would have dragged him out back and let him TRY to pick on someone his own size.... But hey the Chief already proved if that happened they'd be out on their ass while the guy of higher rank walked, isn't that right LT L., how'd that Commander testing go?

Wrong Lt L - anger mgmt sat for the Cmdr exam! Get in a physically fight with your direct subordinate, no problem, go to the field but test for promotion within months
Lt SL - that's a different issue but if anyone has proof about ANYONE stealing from Evidence post it here so DoJ knows.
It's Valentine's Day. Let's give this administration a present and throw the dirty laundry out in public.
