Pete Domenici, Darren White, Ray Schultz, and various other dignitaries. One question....where was the mayor?? Did he have a more pressing engagement than honoring those who have served this country. I am a military veteran and I find this to be extremely rude. Unless I missed seeing him because he was at another ceremony. I tip my hat and salute any who have served this country, military, law enforcement, any emergency personnel.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4662430175624645998.post-66985703538340890292008-05-27T03:05:00.000-06:002008-05-27T03:05:00.000-06:00I am a Desert Storm Gulf War Vet and served my con...I am a Desert Storm Gulf War Vet and served my contry for 22 years as a USAF Security Forces Cop. yes, a lot of us went over to foreign lands and fought for our country, but I was reminded by a friend who was a Law Enforcement officer in this area and is currently retired. She is absolutely correct when she said, "Nobody ever thanked them for the service they did while we were gone." We need to thank all of those Police Officers and Fire Fighters also for what they did; because without them here on the home front watching and protecting our Cities, Towns, Neiborhoods, Homes and Families it would of been much harder for us to do our jobs!!! Sincerely I Thank You oh so much my fellow brothers and sisters!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
