The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Nobody Coming and Everybody's Leaving!

Crime, education, economy, corruption......why would anyone want to move to Albuquerque, New Mexico?

The fact is they don't.  New Mexico had a 1.3 % growth rate in 2015, while Arizona had 7% growth in population and Texas had a 9% growth rate.

New Mexico growth rate is due to births not people moving here.  Bernalillo County wants to build a small city on the westside which leaves one to wonder who is going to live there?  The politicians will tell you everything is fine.  Really is it ?  KRQE reported that New Mexico is number one in the nation for income below the poverty line.  New Mexico is 40th in the nation for education.  KRQE even said home prices are due to drop 31% in New Mexico in the next two years, so lets hurry with the new city on the westside.

Crime is out of control and our EYES tell us that the brain trusts are eliminating most detective positions and sending those detectives to take calls.  Good luck to all us nobodies who are the victim of a crime and expect it to be solved.  Albuquerque has 5000 rape kits that have never been processed.  This boils down to 5000 victims that will never see justice.  Mayor Berry, Chief Eden you should really be proud of yourself.  Corruption is everywhere....  Duran convicted of embezzlement, Schultz greased the wheels for Taser,White interfering in a Police Investigation, Martinez involved in a snowball fight, and now Kimberly Green of The African American Preforming ARTS Center is accused of embezzlement.

The State Legislature can't even fix our driver licenses. Here is a suggestion for the Legislature. Stop worrying so much about the illegals and start taking care of the citizens that voted for you and you are sworn to take care of.  All of this information makes national news and its little wonder why no one wants anything to do with New Mexico......

Let's not forget the antics of our Law Enforcement departments too on the national news! Executing misdemeanor trespassers, shooting at a car load of kids for a traffic stop, blowing lights and killing citizens, and costing taxpayers tens of millions in dollars in settlements! As the saying goes, if you aren't part of the solution, then you are the problem!

I guess 1523 would rather read about the accused murders, the confirmed pedophiles, the domestic abusers, and let's not forget the cop-shooting detectives.

Luckily the cops here think all of APD's problems are someone else's fault. Between them and Berry, they'll drive this city right into the ground. Then the more enterprising among us will be able to bring our companies in in the name of "rebuilding a better Albuquerque."

I'm spending my NM PERA in beautiful Montana. Buying my military and air time was the best investment I ever made! The extra 10% in COLA increases that I will receive instead of waiting 7 years, is worth double what I paid for the time. Everyone who had the time to retire or could purchase time to leave early, should have done so before the COLA provision went into effect or you all just fucked yourselves out of a lot of free money. The measly bullshit raises that APD and AFD have received from this administration don't even compare to what a retiree gets annually due to compounding. I make more retired than I did on the job with overtime. If you want to work somewhere else when retired, great, you'll make twice you salary as you do now. Probably more since every other city outside of New Mexico pays higher wages. Hell, you can go water the flowers at Home Depot for 20K per year if you just miss working all of the overtime. My kids go to better schools and have thrived in a real educational environment, I have twice the house than I could ever afford in Albuquerque, the scenery is great, lots of things to do, people are kind, taxes are lower, healthcare is better and cheaper, politicians actually do something to make life better for the masses, and crime is all but non-existent. Life is good when you get out of the ugly hellhole they call New Mexico.

And another company closes out. How's that working for you Kent Walz?!?!?

Most of the rehires are people that can't do anything else. If Al Walck was still alive they would have hired him back (just for the numbers). They never went to college and have nothing else to fall back on.

1:43,
If you were a brick layer for 30 years, you would have nothing to fall back on. What is the difference? I was smart enough to make sure I had things to fall back on, and had a skill set backround, along with a good education. Some people enjoy what they do, and commit to it totally. I see no fault in it, but I do see fault in condescendingly judging someone with overtones of thinking you are better than them, because they chose a different path in life. I know people who went to college and they can't change a car tire, or fight their way out of a wet paper bag. I know more people who went to college, who are now working for a little over minimum wage.

0953,

For someone who claims not to be a cop, you sure do react like one. As soon as something happens that shakes your fragile ego, you turn it right up to 10 with the anger and the venom.

Also, I didn't vote for Berry. However, since his second term being so handily won is indicative of the state of Albuquerque, I figure he and his like shouldn't be the only ones to profit from the dysfunction. Look at how things are: everybody knows who's doing what, and nobody ever gets in any trouble for it. And the people getting away with everything aren't particularly clever or intelligent individuals.

I'm sure you'll have something incredibly witty to come back with, but think about this: plenty of opportunities are germinating thanks to the state of things here, and in a few years' time, anyone willing to do a little work can profit greatly from that.

Someday someone will slam a car door shut on your head until it's closed with your head still in it. Guys like you always end up having the shit kicked out of you or with your wife running away on the business end of a black dick with a guy like Tillman. Maybe that's what your problem is. HUAAAAAAAAA HUAAAAAAAAA HUAAAAAAAA HUAAAAAAAA..........BWAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

They will most likely indict Schultz, because what he has done, makes Duran, and the rest of them who have been charged over the last few years, look like saints. If not, that guy fucked over some very heavy hitters over 30 years who will most likely be looking for their pound of flab, and then some. Texas probably is not far enough to hide, and a police chief title probably will not matter.

Schultz is the lowest form of something that barely resembles a human shape. He couldn't stand on his own two feet without all of the other criminals and coward who supported him all of these years. He is soft and weak. He can't look you in the eyes, and has the handshake of an ALS patient, as clammy as an octopus and as disgusting as they come. He wears a pinkey ring like the typical pansey ass that he is. He would never survive in prison, and would probably hang himself and end his pathetic life if his money flow, pampered lifestyle, access to anything he wanted, and gambling were cut off. Lets hope he gets indicted, found guilty, and sentenced to ten years for corruption, and all of the cowardly evil things he did to people in order to protect himself from getting caught.

His midget cop blower lawyer Robles should go with him too.

Hindi gets canned for NCIC misuse, and Regina Sanchez gets 40 hours off for NCIC misuse AND dishonesty. Clear and consistent discipline across the board, the APD way.

@ 6:02 look who's talking about sitting at home waiting for the next comment to be posted. WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

The charges will be dropped I bet a pay check on it. Nothing ever happens to people that HAVE dirt on anyone in this town. SLopez is just the tip of the ice berg. Evidence will suddenly disappear, the kid will change the story and it will be seen as discipline for the child. What I am bothered by is how can a person with a pretty decent job (APOA President) with access to all that money (ie: Joey Sigala) not be able to pay a utility bill for her home????? Does she have Dianna Duran syndrome?????

Reading Joe Monahan's entry today on Berry's Rapid Transit bullshit and the $119,000,000 it is going to cost.....

http://joemonahansnewmexico.blogspot.com/

Here is your answer to why the mainstream media is not reporting on it:

The executives at all the major media outlets have blacked out all of the hardcore evidence, and information on Berry's corruption because they were threatened to. Sure they take a few pokes at the low hanging fruit, and former assholes like Schultz, but they are totally hands off on the truly deadly information out there. Berry has been feathering his nest since day one. Just ask one the Abq. security personnel how he is pushing city security out, to funnel business to a relative's security company. That company already does the convention center. Now you know that besides taking care of his construction company, this is why he had a hard one for dumping cash into the that facility. These people are a special breed of criminal and coward. If Schultz slips an indictment, and all of this goes unchecked, they are setting the stage for worse than just concerned citizens, and unhappy or dead campers, they are endangering the entire community with destitution and collapse. But what does it matter, because their pockets will be full, and they can just leave the mess they created behind just like Raymond D. Schultz and Kathryn Levy did. Accountability is a forgotten word in the land of la mañana.

A few people have a very big chance to make some serious changes, and teach some serious lessons here, while showing thst New Mexico is not actually looking the other way while domestic cartels do whatever they want whenever they want. Lets see if they can NOT drop the ball. The person who takes this criminal enterprise down can write their own ticket.

Hey Eye,
How about asking Susana why NM True is buying a new hot air balloon for her boy, the McKinley County manager? Isn't public funding used to purchase items that are given to public officials illegal? Do all citizens of NM get free use of this balloon since our tax dollars fund NM True?

@Feb 11 6:51-How about this for more 5th floor corruption:

Lt. Jennifer Garica is acting as an IA liaison between the City/Department and the Citizen Oversight Board regarding Brachle's attempted murder of one of his subordinates. The problem, is Jennifer Garcia is married to the Deputy Chief (Eric Garcia) who directly supervised (and still does) the division responsible for this attempted murder.

So while the Oversight Board sits back and wonders why they've been stonewalled on this issue for the last year, Jennifer's Deputy Chief hubby sits back and pulls her strings to protect himself, Les Brown and Brachle.

There needs to be a thorough cleansing of the leadership at APD, and a solid law banning any rehire program to prevent the return of these individuals.

I too took my PERA and retired end of 2015 and won't have to wait 7 yrs for a COLA. I also make more retired than I did working for the worst run public government agency ever- the City of Albuquerque. .It's not surprising why the City is in such a mess. It's not complicated and it's why many cities go bad. It starts with Nepotisim, the hiring of family members working in same department or worse, a family member of a department director being hired as an M-level with authority over staff in that department. When department directors figure out that they can break rules, lie without consequence, fire staff without cause, they likely go to the next step which is stealing. Some Department Directors have their own management (M) levels help them steal. Maybe a blue collar worker who has access to construction supplies, paint, home repair materials, is approached by the Director..and d the rest is history. Until the M level is put under investigation for stealing. The M level gives up the Director so he can keep his job (in a different department now) But the Director gets to stay Director without consequence. Premeditation: the Director promoted this blue collar guy to M level so the plan for stealing could be put in place without questions or concerns because the guy is M level now. And that's how Nepotisim can and does bring down the City. This algorithm is why the City of Albuquerque is failing and will continue to fail unless and until strong, accountable leadership, unconcerned with political favors and political payback, is elected.
