Oh What A Wicked Web Schultzie Weaves.....

Back in February 2011, former APD Officer John Doyle and Rob Woolever apprehended a fleeing violent armed felon wanted by APD. Nicolas Blume was a suspect in numerous felony crimes and wanted on several felony warrants. APD's Gang Unit and Intel had passed out flyers and emails concerning Blume and were actively trying to find him (because he had evaded them at least twice).

Well, Officers Doyle and Woolever found Blume that night, and after a brief vehicle chase, a foot pursuit, and a lot of fighting, Blume was arrested. He was found with a gun and knife and was high on crack cocaine. But little did the officers know that Blume would not be their most lethal adversary that night. That title belongs to disgraced chief Ray Schultz.

You see, several months later, in November 2011, Schultz fire both officers. While it changes each time why they were fired (was it excessive force? Untruthfulness? Tampering with evidence? Changing reports) one thing is clear, Schultz worked his way to fire two fine officers in an effort to show the DOJ he was a "tough guy."

Well, as we will see in tonite's story on KRQE-13, it seems Schultz is not such a tough guy after all. While we have bee reporting on this case pretty much since the officers were placed on leave, it seems some very new and shocking details are about to come out about what really happened that night in February and what happened in the following weeks and months.

You see, it's bad enough that Schultz tried to work the system for his woman friends that did his bidding for him with privatized rehire gigs, and then milk the city's budget for a lucrative Taser contract so he could work for Taser, but to all but destroy the lives of two hardworking cops? Really Ray.

And for those that didn't notice, this case was NOT listed in the DOJ report. While we know many people take issue with the tactics that were deployed last night, let's be real. Blume was taken into custody with superficial injuries and booked that night.....

****Last year it was "nature at play." Now we find out it's "greased." What is up with Schultz and his weird freudian slips. Something revealing about your childhood Ray? Did your daddy beat you or were you just seriously neglected by your mommy?

****And speaking of flip flops, last year according to Kent Walz of the Journal, Ray Schultz was the "right man for the job," and "the leader APD needs," and one who "talks the talk." Well, Kent boy your were wrong on that. Could it be that you're also wrong about your favorite mayor? Is it possible that RJ Berry is not only not fit for his officer but has colluded with these people for his own personal gain. We at the Eye don't think it's this possible to do so much harm and be such a failure unless it was on purpose....

****And lastly, what is up with all the contacts going on between Berry, Perry, White, Schultz, and Wilham? If they were this busy with Taser, what else were they busy with???
