The media finally smashes some administration ass... 5 bus crashes in 8 days...crime stats, lies and the reason why... 73 murders, and the clowns think their show must go on.

During the mayoral campaign, where everyone pointed the finger at Richard J Berry, and his merry band of criminals, including us, the candidates all claimed they would clean up the mess. One was connected to the one who started all of this’s (problem, Ray Schultz) legal defense team, one was pulling the same shenanigans as Berry and Schultz, and one knew about the in-depth corruption, that caused the mess, because he was the state auditor. That person was Tim Keller. Keller knew all about the fraud, crimes, waste and spending of the previous administration, but like everyone here, who is afraid of addressing the elephant in room once they enter it, they acted like investigations and punishments do not exist, then they joined the club.

Because many politicians only have a taste for looking like they would get their hands dirty, and knuckles scuffed when it’s time to fool everyone into voting for them, we are now suffering from unprecedented violence, once established businesses leaving our city, others getting burglarized into oblivion, and humiliating bus crashes, from a project that should have been bulldozed, even after it was completed. This all should have resulted in those responsible being  investigated for kickbacks, fraud, and waste in spending. God forbid the Kumbuya crowd engage in something so negative as investigations, prosecution, and punishment of public officials for corruption. After all so many of them are connected at so many levels in this village that there is no doubt that one of their own chameleon color changing cronies would get caught up in the dragnet. 

Yes, the previous administration is responsible for all of this, and they should still be held responsible, but this new batch of clowns is just as responsible now. Their constant crying about how they were handed a lemon is old, and just proves what everyone is claiming about this generation, and political ideology.

Keller talked a good game about change, until the Marty Chavez / Rael team got into his head, and he decided the image of what is popular was the bandwagon he should be jumping on. 

While we have a low rider cruiser detail, and a police car low rider, the murder rate is out of control, and after dark it seems this city transforms into hell. This administration can send a few party boys to Detroit to party it up when it should have been for recruiting, and we can have coffee with a cop, while there is an indefinite response time for officers on the street.

We are glad everyone is all smiles having a grand old time, and getting paid for it, while citizens are getting mauled out there every day with no officers available to respond top priority violent crime calls. But they sure can find officers to send over to personnel board hearings when the city is terrified that they are finally getting caught framing employees, committing perjury to retaliate against those employees, and committing fraud on personnel board hearings and on the courts. That’s right folks, filthy corrupt lying coward city attorneys, who get caught, and shit their panties, have priority to get officers to rush to their side in order to hold their trembling hands in minutes, while innocent citizens can’t get an officer to respond to their pleas for help when they get shot at.

As all of the phoney baloney bedazzle games go on, officers can’t even keep their patrol cars in their possession.

City council calls bullshit on crime stats and APD bullshits city council

After looking at that photo, look at the below one, where the CAO looks at Armijo with that “you got it girl” look of satisfaction on her face. Truthfully, we are done with this shit. It’s sickening and the incompetence needs to be addressed. Nobody lost data and nobody needs millions to count beans. It is all a lie and spectacular display of distraction to pull attention away from their intentional fraud. 

Police departments across the country have been manipulating and lying about crime stats for decades to make themselves look good, and for funding. When caught, some police officials were even indicted, but like every other time here they get to say they lost it or there was a mistake and it all goes away.  APD was just another one who was caught. And what did they do? Duck dodge and blame everyone, else like cowards who are still culturally inline with the last administration’s mentality. 

You can read on this blog about the individuals who saw the writing on the wall, when this administration started, and how they pulled the rip cord. Nobody is happy with what is going on. None of it is error or miscalculations. It is all intentional, and a fraudulent buying of time until the next election. We are all supposed to be stupid and believe at a time now when crime stats are crucial, it all ended up in some black hole. We say that everyone should get the message now, and prepare to vote this administration out come next election. The idiots are running the asylum.

We think KOB, and their reporters did an excellent job of pulling Keller out of his hipster Snuggie, and holding his feet over the fire, even if he was a complete pussy, and bitched up about owning it.

MAYOR KELLER DUCKS DODGES WEAVES AND BLAMES OTHERS FOR THE MURDER RATE

Watch this administration as they play the musical chairs with what Commander gets to address what crisis today. It’s like their names are on a spinning wheel. Observe how there is no consistency with who addresses certain topics, or issues, and notice how the police chief is never around just like before. One thing is for sure, we don’t see hide or tail of the two other Deputy Chief’s that were hired. What is that money going towards? APD is now about a bunch of ass kissers trying to outshine each other, and impress the boss better than their counterparts rather than just doing the job.

The fact here is that there is no leadership within APD that can fix the damage. That is a fact.

Good luck to the public, because you are on your own. The proof of that is the mere fact that APD can’t even get a list of 15 names together for the Metro 15 anti-crime initiative they announced weeks ago within a reasonable time. That means with all of this crime going on, these non-cops can’t even pick out 15 of the most shitty criminals to go after just, to get them off the street now. May we suggest taping the list of the hundreds you do have on the wall and throw a few darts at it? Shit, a good field officer can bust off 15 top asshole’s names in just as many seconds. 

This is all a shame, because we all know many had solid solutions were suggested to this administration, that were ignored, because these newbies thought they had it in the bag. Well... proof there again that they had no clue what they were getting into, and who they were dealing with. 

If all you offer the public is lip service, bullshit, babble and mumbo umbo as a commander, when you can’t even run one city block to catch a felon or save a life as you make $90G a year, you just might want to shut the fuck up right about now.

If you are a cop, and you want to work inside, go on tourist trips, burn your time calling out of work to go play, or play with toys in a special unit that does nothing but afford you daywork with weekends off, and time to go shopping on duty, while the city burns, you should think about doing something else, instead of being a useless, check collecting, pension digger. To the good ones who held their right hand up, and swore to do the right thing, thank you!

Coming Home...

After a vocationally enforced hiatus (yes, we have a real job), we're back in the saddle or rather on the keyboard. There's a lot going on both nationally and locally. On the national scene Congress is trying to tax our energy and destroy our health care system. Locally, The Almighty's sanctuary city chickens have come home to roost.

Almost a year ago San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsome was forced to rescind their sanctuary city policy after illegal alien Edwardo Ramos killed three innocent people (read about it here). Last Saturday, three illegal aliens stormed a Denny's and took something far more valuable than money... an innocent life.

You'd think that The Almighty Alcalde in the middle of an election year would immediately reverse course and correct his earlier mistake. If you did, you'd be wrong. Instead of admitting that the mayor had hamstrung his police officers through a misguided SOP, he's trying to shift the blame to the federal government.

Deborah James, spokeswoman for Mayor Martin Chavez, said blame in the Denny’s case lies with federal immigration authorities, who are supposed to check the immigration status of every person arrested and booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center, which is run by Bernalillo County. In the case of Ortiz, that apparently didn’t happen, she said.

“The mayor has asked them to have someone there on a more full-time basis,” James said. “We don’t have any authority over the jail. We make the arrest, but if immigration authorities aren’t following through, or if the courts let them go, we have no jurisdiction.”

The fact of the matter is that every person who has sworn an oath to protect the public and who wears a badge should be concerned about enforcing all of our laws. Jail officials are not on the front line... APD officers are.

Our Eyes behind the badge have always told us that they stop illegals on a daily basis. Marty and the 5th Floor have simply made it impossible for officers to use their discretion when they have a reasonable suspicion that the individual that they have come in contact with is in this country illegally.

Officers shall not inquire about or seek proof of a person's immigration status, unless the person is in custody or is a suspect in a criminal investigation for a nonimmigration criminal violation and the immigration status of the person or suspect is pertinent to the criminal investigation.

The concept that a suspected illegal must be the subject of a nonimmigration investigation or violation, and have their status be pertinent to the criminal investigation is precisely what prohibited officers - who came into contact with two of the suspects (Meglar and Ortiz) when they were arrested for DWI - from contacting immigration authorities.

He'll send his minions out to spin the facts and try to shift the blame, but he rarely makes his mayoral self available for questions. We're not saying that APD's SOP is directly responsible for the murder of Stephanie Anderson. We're saying that the SOP removed an opportunity for APD officers to prevent an act of violence by making a simple phone call.

Yesterday, R. J. Berry held a news conference down at Civic Plaza to address his plans for APD's SOP with regard to illegal immigrants. As expected, Marty's minions were quick to play the fear-mongering race card.

A city of Albuquerque official said Wednesday that the allegations by the Republican Party of New Mexico are "appalling" and compared proposed Republican policy changes to "racial profiling."

The truth is illegal immigration and racial profiling have nothing to do with one another. It makes little difference where an illegal comes from. What matters is that they came into this country illegally. An illegal immigrant's point of origin has nothing to do with it.

Berry Will End “Sanctuary City” Policy in Albuquerque

Candidate for Mayor says police must be allowed to enforce all
the laws, will work to repeal driver’s license law

Albuquerque, NM – June 24, 2009 – Richard Berry vowed today that if he is elected Mayor, he will end the “Sanctuary City” policy put in place at the Albuquerque Police Department by Mayor Martin Chavez, and he will keep up the fight to end the state’s policy of giving New Mexico driver’s licenses to people who are in the United States illegally.

Berry says Chavez’s directive at APD prevents police officers from enforcing all the laws, and when used in combination with the state’s policy on drivers’ licenses, it severely hampers APD’s ability to keep our city safe.

“Our police officers are doing an incredible job fighting crime in this city considering they are being told by the Mayor to do it with one arm handcuffed behind their backs,” said Berry. “Politics has gotten in the way of the police department and it’s gotten in the way of common sense, and this must end.”

The Albuquerque Journal reported today that the men suspected of robbing a Westside Denny’s and murdering a female cook are not only in the United States illegally, but were once in the hands of local law enforcement, and then released.

"I want to be very clear that the people responsible for this latest tragedy are the three thugs who committed this horrible crime. Period. But as policy-makers, we must look at what common-sense steps we can take to help law enforcement get criminals like this off our streets," said Berry.

Berry empathized with law enforcement, saying he couldn’t imagine how frustrating it must be for an officer on the street to pick up someone on a violation, not have the authority and support to run them through the system, watch them go free because of politics and misguided policies, and then turn around one day to see that same criminal commit a heinous crime like this.

“It’s the combination of laws and policies that are failing our officers, and the people of Albuquerque,” said Berry. “As Mayor, I will do two things. I will end this policy at APD and I will work with the legislature and the new administration in Santa Fe to change the current state law on driver’s licenses.”

Berry, a two-term legislator, who voted this year in support of a statewide anti-profiling law, has opposed the state’s driver’s license policy since its inception.

“As Mayor, I will put in place an APD policy that will dovetail with the one that is currently in use by the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department, which will leave the discretion for law enforcement up to the officer on the street instead of the politicians at City Hall.”

Policy for the Bernalillo Sheriff Department reads, “Deputies shall not stop and question, detain, arrest or place an “immigration hold” on any persons not suspected of crimes, solely on the grounds that they may be deportable immigrants. When arrest is necessary for the violation of State Law or County Ordinance, deputies shall notify their Field Supervisor immediately if it is suspected that the person may be an undocumented immigrant. At that time, the Supervisor will begin the notification process.”

“I’m going to change this policy and then I’m going to stand behind my officers,” said Berry.

It's amazing what one word can do. Deputies are prohibited from scooping up suspected illegals for being illegals, but they are not prohibited from contacting appropriate authorities when a suspect is in custody for any offense. More specifically, deputies are directed to notify their Field Supervisor "immediately if it is suspected that the person may be an undocumented [illegal] immigrant."

Policy decisions have consequences and bad decisions have a way of coming home. In this case, a few simple words may have prevented officers from taking two brutal murders off the street and there's only one person ultimately responsible.
