The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Pooof! It's 2016!

2015 is now history and our politicians will tell you all is just fine with Albuquerque.

Fine for the top administration who just keep getting fatter off the work of the rest of us. Fat paychecks for all from a Mayor who gets caught in one lie after another to a Police Chief who can't even hold a press conference and has to have spokeperson hold them for him.

Good for top administration at the Police Department who took money away from the rank and file officers to feather their own overpaid nest.  It is a good year for Raymond Schultz that was never held accountable for Taser by the do nothing City Council.

For all of us nobodies, 2015 was not so good.  Violent crime has risen 10% while we have a shooting almost an a nightly basis.  People being murdered in their driveway trying to protect their property, or children being murdered in road rage or sitting in a home watching their friends play cards.  Children being abducted in car jacking and left alone in a cold parking lot. People being robbed while at shopping centers. Police Officers being shot while protecting us, such as Officer Golson. Police Officers murdered while protecting us such as Officer Webster (AND WE STILL WANT TO KNOW WHERE HIS BACKUP WAS ).

Police Officers shot by his fellow Officer such as Officer Grant.  Officer Grant forced to file a lawsuit against The City to make them do the right thing to take care of his injuries.  Of course The City Attorney will tell you it was Officer Grant's fault.  We are number two in drug overdose death in the nation. In 2014 we were 49th in the nation for the economy, violent crime and jobs. In 2015 we improved by politician standards we dropped to number 50 in the nation.   There are not enough Police Officers on the street to protect us or to handle calls with seventy retiring now at the beginning of 2015.  Lies keep on coming from the politicians from a murder at a skate park that the video finally released shows a very different story from the one the politicians made up.  Lets not forget Renaldo Chavez in charge of releasing information to the media.  Mr.  Chavez was fired because he was not releasing information he was ordered not to by the politicians and he, how dare him, protested their lies and criminal actions! So now another lawsuit because the politicians are caught in yet another lie. But not to worry the politicians take care of themselves.  Look a Councilmen Winter. Appointed to take over at A.P.S. until a new top administrator was found. Now appointed Secretary Of State.  Wow what a retirement! We have heard that you're buying a home in Florida Mr. Winter. Is it true?  We have a Secretary Of State in jail, and a Governor who knows how to throw one hell of a party and is the laughing stock of the country.

Never fear all is well. We did have a hot air balloon raise a Civic Plaza to ring in 2016, but there were not hundreds in attendance as the politicians said, there were at most a few dozen. Perhaps it was the gunfire at midnight that kept people away.

Only fitting Les Brown going to a hick town of 6,000 people. Goes to show APS wouldn't even take him. Guess he musta left out this incident when they asked him about his leadership and character. Good now SID can finally die and go away since he had it one foot in the grave.

Love you Jacob.

Why is it that when a positive action is recorded by APD lapel cameras the video is instantly available, and when it's not a positive outcome for APD the video is held for months, lost, not a working camera, or was not on. Come on Tanny,Simon Says, and Celine ding dong , splain it to us. Just like you splained it in Sunday's Journal Editorial. If you ever spoke the truth you might also win the lottery..

Typical attitude from you losers who can't keep your city together, then you get your cunts in the air when you get called on it. Everyone here who has their shit together happens to be someone who is not originally from here. The work force pool is so atrocious that most police applicants come from out of state, but that is ending because nobody in their right mind would move hundreds of miles with their families just to be thrown under the bus, get shit on by a corrupt employer, or work with people who resent their higher qualifications snd education, while watching the same defective clowns get pushed up the ranks because they blew someone, or are owed a favor for being a boot licking follower. There is no work ethic. The food here blows. You crybabies can't handle confrontation without crying, shitting your pants, then running to somebody because you want something done about your tender feelings being hurt. Your lazy ass la mañana attitude wouldn't fly anywhere else in the world. In fact, it would get you fired or smacked in the side of your head in some places. If it wasn't for green chili, hot air balloons, Jacksons MMA, and corruption NOBODY would know Albuquerque exists. It is so pathetic that every time there is a tragedy half way across the globe, you morons scour the state for the cousin of the brother that married the divorced sister of the victim's twice removed cousin who now lives in Albuquerque who is in mourning to interview just to get attention. In fact, every time some cheesy survey comes along where Albuquerque or the State of NM places somewhere on the list, you dorks are doing jumping jax. No wonder, it is because of piss poor attitudes like yours, that New Mexico consistently places at the bottom of the list on everything. Even your governor is a immature, vindictive drunken fool. Enjoy getting walked on by your politicians, police brass, criminals because you will comtinue to do nothing at all about it but cry like the baby you are. "Just move then." Do you know how stupid that sounds? The fact is, anyone from any other city in this country could survive here, but you coddled little motherfuckers would perish in a real city. Ok mijo Jito. And it is always some whiney do nothing moron with a burrito in their mouth like you saying that shit. If another country conquered thr United States they would most likely make the state of New Mexico the septic tank for the entire nation.
Good luck with that buddy. How's your machismo now?

Hahahahaha. I can not believe what I just read.
It's more like dozens of APD upper command with no business being cops. And Mayor Berry has the balls to say they won't have to worry about skeletons in the closets by hiring rehires?!!? Do these hypocrites, and liars think people just do not see what they are doing. These scum bags invented skeletons in the closets? They can't circumvent the hiring process? This asshole Eden actually says this after hiring Tyler as the director of the academy without vetting her? These schleps are insane. You liars just harrassed a 35 plus year rehire for doing his job, destroyed evidence by ordering the deleting of a police report, and fired the man because that lying criminal Hammer wanted some payback for personal animosity. You motherfuckers belong under the prison. I hope you get that fucking rehire rule changed so that Berry gets his words rammed down his deepthroat when absolutely no one reapplies to that rat's nest for employment. I will love to see what and who they blame then when the spin comes. BERRY IS A LIAR. Veterans are leaving and they could give a shit about the money. It is treacherous and deadly working for these back stabbing lying criminals. When this administration is finished, they will have the entire state after them for the intentional acts of maliciousness they have leveled on people. No wonder why all of these cowards flee to other states before the ink is dry on their retirement paperwork.

The sad part is people think the problems with APD will stop with the change of an administration. Schultz left and it got worse and if the piece of crap Eden left tomm, things would continue to get worse. The seed has been planted and it will take 10 plus years if not longer to change the culture. As it's been said before just look at the sgts/LTs that are waiting in the shadows. In a perfect world we should be celebrating that Les Brown left, but instead we cringe with rumors that Sullivan might take over, so........a few more years of the same old crap. As long as officers look at losers like Gonterman and Montano as examples of APDs career path then the culture will never change. As long as new officers see excessive force, adultery, and bad leadership by sleeping with all your subordinates, being rewarded with promotions, then that will continue to be the standard. The DOJ only looks at the paperwork, the SOPs, the stats. They don't look at the people, the values, the honor. Will APD ever break through and become the dept it once was? .............. Not it the foreseeable future,

Anonymous said...

Is there a double standard? How do you stand before the community and DOJ and preach that you will no longer tolerate bad cops but then continue to allow a LT who almost killed his own detective ( but still ruined his life) to stay on the payroll for over a year then retire? The corruption in a APD is too embedded to just change because the city pays a few scam artists to tell the DOJ it's changed. The whole system is broke and the DOJ is too focused on a few areas.

Saw that. Don't bet on red. Bet on black baby.
They sure played roulette hiring that liar.
Neither him nor Schultz put up any type of memorial for Webster on their Facebook pages for Webster, when every other department nationwide did. You know why? Because they are terrified of their mess following them to their new homes, and their new cities finding out about them. Pretty sad. They are starting to come out of their holes now. Everyone should be commenting on both of their facebook pages. Let them know they are not forgotten.

Anonymous said...

If APD thinks the manpower issue will be solved with the reinstitution of the rehire program, they are sadly mistaken. None of us want to return to a broken Department that is run by incompetent, selfish leadership. There is no dedication of loyalty displayed to officers by management. Its a "throw you under the bus" to make myself look better style of leadership. Pretty damn sad..,. You can't be a true cop anymore without worrying about getting fired or indicted....not to mention the lack of decent first line supervision.....holy crap! I know most of you young officers don't want us old timers back out there anyway.....haha.....good luck guys/gals....take care of each other and don't Code 4 your backup.....calls can hold.....they've been holding for a hundred years.....and they'll hold for another hundred.

Anonymous said...

The chief said he is looking at the end of 2017 before APD is up to 1,000 officers. After hearing this, myself and another officer pulled out the department roster. So let's look at this from the numbers. Right now, the department has 800 officers. If they average 2 classes a year with 40 cadets in each, ( including the current class ) that would be 200 officers. Odds are everyone will graduate with garbage like Tyler and jaramillo running the academy. So that's exactly 1,000 officers. As it stands, over 150 officers are eligible for retirement. That's not counting those who quit or get fired to satisfy DOJ goals. If they r lucky, in 2017 they will still only have 800 officers. And to the mayor.......for the 100th time, the re-hire program won't work. It's not about the money. Sure some re-hires are so broke and uneducated they had to come back. But that was before you and Eden destroyed the dept.. Officers leaving now, knew the raise and retention bonuses were coming and they still got the hell out of dodge.

Anonymous said...

I said it when the first news conference aired and I'll say it again...The DOJ was bought and paid for by the political powers that be, just like everything else by the Martinez/Berry administrations. If any of you honestly think or thought that the DOJ would do anything about the corruption, you must be living under a rock. A little research into all the other departments would educate everyone that the DOJ doesn't make a damn bit of difference or change the culture of corruption. The DOJ is corrupt. Once the DOJ gets its' 5th grade bullshit recommendations established for SOPs, training, etc., they wipe their hands clean and close the investigation, leaving a jurisdiction in no better condition and economically poorer. Ask any other big city how the the DOJ worked out for them?

As for Robin Hammer, she's a conniving bitch with her head up Perry's ass. Watch your backs with her around. Everyone better get the the council on board to keep her from getting IG or the cops are fucked. She and that disgusting fat ass Manfredi in Rio Rancho will bold face lie to screw over people, just to pad their conviction record. It's obvious Hammer has no regard to ethics and will do anything she is told by this administration.

7:58/ Hindi. Ok I agree with you to a certain point. You could have been fired for a hundred other things. I don't think you'll find 1 officer in the entire valley area command that will shed a tear for you being fired. However, I'm not gonna argue with you on picking and choosing who they want to fire. There are many others that should be leaving with you, including your entire chain of command. To fire a guy for violating SOP and being a pain in the ass, then keeping a LT who almost kills one of his detectives is wrong. Firing you but keeping your LT after all the crap he's pulled is wrong. There are numerous officers that should be leaving with you, but stop and think........you had 35 years of scamming the system, you've motivated numerous other officers to follow your lead, you've shown us why the re-hire program should criticized, and your an example of why officers should leave immediately when they are eligible for retirement. Just enjoy retirement, and leave the criticizing to those of us who really care about change. ( drop the mic )

Gotta love listening to the APOA videos promoting the new contract/retention. Again $ 10000 equals 7 bucks an hr. If you leave and get a job at dominos, you make 3 dollars an hour more. The only people that will stay for that are the officers that you really want to leave. No one listens, and for that, I say IM OUT

@8:49 The culture of of politics, particularly that of APD and City Hall, is a system of selective justice. That system will go after the little guy, but it will never go after their own leadership, because it is that leadership who runs the system. The system also has a grip on local mainstream media, which they use to relentlessly bully and attack anyone who challenges them. This is why Les Brown, Eric Garcia and Greg Brachle will never be held accountable.

An overwhelming majority of individuals believe Brown and Garcia should have been reassigned or forced into retirement immediately after their subordinate, Brachle, wildly fired 8 rounds into a vehicle where he knew two undercover detectives were seated. Brachle should have been terminated and barred from ever serving in Law Enforcement again. What happened instead, was the system took no action against their own and chose to go after the little guy (Jacob Grant). This was done purely to preserve "the system" as it exists and defend against any future assertion that people within that system failed or acted improperly. Moreover, it wouldn't bode well for Mayor Berry if three personnel from his senior police command staff were either fired or reassigned as he prepares to run for Governor.

Look at it this way: Taken at face value, in what world is it permissible for a leader (Brown) to remain in command after two of his detectives are charged with murder, another detective is accused of intentionally running over a suspect without cause, and a Lieutenant who fired recklessly into a vehicle he knew was occupied by detectives? Do the 11th and 5th floors really believe the actions of the people under Brown's command are the result of effective leadership? I'm not a fan of Ray Schultz, but at least he saw serious enough character flaws in Brown to determine he would never promote him. We have Alan Banks to thank for that poor decision.

Now Brown goes on to be Chief in Arizona, presumably with glowing recommendations from the same system that has propped him up and has refused to hold him accountable for his malfeasance, misfeasance and nonfeasance. Meanwhile, the system goes after the little guy (Grant) and attacks him for the intentional act of another.

Frankly, I think it's time for Greg Brachle to "man up" and take responsibility for his actions and quit hiding behind the protection of the system. He destroyed the life of a valued detective as well as the lives of those around him. How this miscreant is able to walk around the Department like nothing happened is beyond comprehension.

IS GOING TO HURT!
That's right folks. This case will open up every case that Levy has had her filthy hand in, and used private emails such as bogoabq@yahoo.com to communicate with. There is no coincidence when these criminals like Schultz get a telephone call, or email to their city phone, or email account, then they do not respond or they use their wife's phone like Schultz used to do. They will have bullshit lies to tell about how their battery died or some other load of shit, but we all know that they intentionally are using and have used alternative methods of communication just like drug dealers and pedophiles, in order to keep from leaving an evidence trail. The excellent thing about technology is that gmail, yahoo aol and other servers keep data. Those emails never go away. Alot of people will be reliving their nightmares. It will be justice to see these liars dragged back here after they thought they ran away and got away with their crimes. All high profile cases will have misconduct reasons to be reopened. The judges in these matters will be losing their minds from being lied to. This misconduct and criminal behavior will be grounds to repeal, reopen and throw out so many cases and prove the fraud on the courts done by the city attirney's office, the perjury and case tampering we all know has been going on for years. This site has been saying for years that these city officials have been doing this. I believe this case was taken to the Feds too. They will now have to prosecute.

Anonymous said...

Les Brown and another commander were only promoted to diffuse a class action lawsuit lodged against the city for passing over three Lt.s. They promoted Les and the other and both of them took the promotion, essentially dropping the lawsuit leaving the retired LT. hanging. Les is a self serving piece of shit. Nobody here looks out for anyone but themselves. This is part of why the cowards get away with fucking over people.

Overheard a few over at APD bragging about giving someone the runaround over IPRA requests for Gonterman's pursuit fiasco. Someone is onto what they did on that call, and how they are trying to cover it up. You see, they chased that car. That means it was a pursuit. When it wrecked, they just changed the call to an abandoned auto in order to make the pursuit go away. IPRA all pursuit memos for this. There are none, because if they did a pursuit memo, Gonterman would get dinged for an out of SOP pursuit. If anyone else had pulled one of these coverups, they would be fired for lying, and falsifying a police report by omission. This administration is still defiant concerning IPRA materials, despite the DOJ, and this new lawsuit being filed. The office joke here is about how they are giving this citizen the runaround. They not only just do not care, they are actively laughing about screwing with people requesting the information, and laughing about it.They are never going to learn until someone gets prosecuted. I can hear them now doing pursuit memos, back dating them, and claiming they were misunderstood.

I feel for you man. She is probably at real peace now that she has not had to listen to your whiney mouth anymore. She would probably think your creative writing is corny too. A twat? Really? Coming from an only child like yourself, that is funny. Since you were an only child, your parents must have realized that they were the ones who made a mistake. They probably paid the ultimate price for it by being driven to an early grave by you. But thanks for your concern about my parents though. They are still here because their children were not the foul, perverted curse you were, and stop playing in your mother's old underwear drawer. Maybe someday you should go out and buy yourself that skateboard you've always been talking about. The fresh air, and a few good brisk TBIs would probably fix you. I wish you the best in getting your life together, and good day to you!

They leak info about corruption, you call them names. They fight the administration you complain. They fuck up, you do the same. I think people like you have no place on earth and should be recycled. How is that? You sound like a broken record. If you don't like it, don't read it. Unless yiu are Rob Perry trying to imposter a citizen. In that case keep reading you pedophile.

According to the breach of contract settlement video on the NMAPOA website, Fred Mowrer explains a $2.8M credit awarded to the city by the APOA for partial recovery of loss which was agreed upon during the 2014 contract year. So therefore, those members who were affected by the breach of contract, yet retired prior to 2014 should be entitled their fair share of the $2.8M, RIGHT??? And furthermore, this supposed vote that is being made and influenced by members who were hired after 2010-11 thate were NEVER directly affected by the loss. And of course, the vote will pass as it is all inclusive with the contract that will in turn afford these junior officers a raise. So presumably, the fate of the members actually affected by this loss is being made by members who may have not yet have even graduated high school or considered their path in life. Frkn WOW is all I can say, breathless. Great job punkass willow-belly, sell-out steph, judas broom handle, and last but not least, fred “in bed with the enemy cuz that’s how I roll” mowrer… APD sure has gone down the shitter.

Anonymous said...

I smell a juicy class action suit against the APOA brewing. What did Mowrer say about the money recovered and disseminated to members in 2014, yet none was awarded to members who retired prior to 2014?

Anonymous said...

4:11

That juicy smell is your own crotch.

Look you get the settlement if you were an APOA member during 2010 and 2011. what is so hard to understand? Those years the city council had appropriated the money for the pay raise but Berry spent it elsewhere. In 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 the city council did not appropriate any money for the $28 / hour salary so those years were not included in the judgement / settlement. That was the judge talking. So your juicy lawsuit is just the same stupid APOA members who don't want to understand what they don't like. Go ahead, call Bregman and sue, just like the double dippers did a few years ago. How did that work out for them? Oh yeah, they lost.

Anonymous said...

Brett, you have some nerve trying to sue for your promotion. Funny, you should have been transferred to a civilian spot and your retirement changed. You fucking LIED on the stand and everyone who was there know it. When did you decide to change your story. The defense attorneys made you look like a piece of shit. By the way, if I was City I wouldn't be paying your damages.

Anonymous said...

What these fools are hoping none of us catch is what 4:05 is onto. If you have retired but you are a plaintiff in this case you should be technically voting on whether or not to accept the deal. How is the APOA able to overlook your opinion and got legally? Why haven't they put out a brief to the retired members? They are hoping to force this thing down our throats, plain and simple. I'm a plaintiff but not retired, but the retired folks need to be briefed and they should be voting, they voted on the contract in 2008 why not now?

Hector Balderas has a golden opportunity to make a huge change in the state of New Mexico in regards to corruption.
If nothing is done to Schultz, it will be clear that agenda is worth more than doing the right thing, and hope is out the window for anyone responsible for the mess in Albuquerque to be held accountable.

http://nmindepth.com/2016/01/14/subpoenas-offer-first-glimpse-in-ags-probe-of-former-abq-police-chief/

Everyone who retired when the DOJ came in is holding their breath for this to blow over, hoping nothing will be done. That is the word in their circles. This is because they know this Tasergate only scratches the surface of the criminal enterprise Schultz was operating and their involvement. If this investigation were to expand and encompass the no bid sole source contracts awarded to Nate Korn by Ray Schultz, the citizens would find out about the aimpoint gunsights, the Spiwak patrol jackets, and the other vendors would find out about the ballistic vests. An investigation into the Charger patrol cars from Dodge would reveal the sweet deal Schultz got on one too. After looking into this, they would see what Korn did for Schultz up at the NMLEA board. The same behavior being described here in reference to Perry extorting the IG is exactly what these malfeasant city officials have done in administrative hearings to hearing officers and to get their way in everything they wanted to ensure went in their desired direction. That IG should never hold a position like that ever again after admitting what she did, and why she did it, and Robert Perry should be charged for conspiring to cover for Raymond D. Schultz who is now the assistant police chief of Memorial Villages Police Department in Houston Texas. Mayor Berry is just as complicit in all of this because he is the one who personally appoints some of these people. His layers of insulation need to be ripped from him, and he needs to be put on the hotseat to answer for covering for Schultz.

If Schultz gets charged, everything he set in motion needs to be investigated, and tacked on as obstruction and tampering charges. His ex-city attorney Kathryn Levy, who is being sued for trying to hide IPRA material, and evidence was one of the people flown out to California, all expenses paid, for a nightclub party vacation. She needs to be held accountable for her actions of covering for Schultz in actions committed by him to obstruct investigators, namely the DOJ, from discovering his activities, and not recusing herself in matters that overlapped, or were illegally related through their mutually conspired actions. Levy was the LYNCHPIN in this whole operation. This is why a city attorney had an office in the APD Main, right next to Schultz.

Swift and brutal action taken by the Attorney General in regards to prosecuting Ray Schultz, and anyone else even peripherally related to conspiring with him, or enabling him to do what he did here, will send a clear message to Celina Espinosa, Javier Urban, Jessica Hernandez, Richard Berry, Robert Perry, Gordon Eden, Susana Martinez, Jay Mc Cleskey, and all the former city officials who found it convenient to destroy the place, lie, then run away, leaving things in shambles, that the game is over along with the enriched lives they stole from everyone. This is their greatest horror, and by making sure it materializes, it will renew people's faith in this place being turned around more than they could imagine. Everyone wronged deserve nothing less.

Mayor Richard Hollow Woodhead Smallfruit J Berry,
It looks like you now start combing your hair from the top middle of your bald hollow wooden head, because it has all turned gray, and fell out from there forward since 2001, when all of this DOJ stuff started. Your neck looks very thin, and your clothing is falling off of your skinney lying ass. Not good to be you these days. Even worse when the hammer drops over at Balderas's office on your boy Ray. Maybe Perry can cobble up some puppy fur to make a wig for you when the rest falls out, Schultz gets indicted, and you get targeted next.

So it all comes down to dropping the "double-dipper" line, and the utter lack of respect for the senior members that you cut your teeth under when you came on the job. There's envy in all sorts, but to be envious of a man or woman who has the fortitude and courage to dawn the badge and re-enter this city's law enforcement plight is complete cowardly and without merit. Obviously these words come from a disgruntled individual who most likely never really learned to crawl before trying to run. Let me guess, smooze your way as a rook to an investigative unit in TDY status, then get lost among CIB/SID positions, yet having never put in the work to earn it. My guess is that assessment is right on the money. Certainly the point you missed before your "smelly crotch" banter was that regardless of what monies were appropriated by the city, there in fact was still a $2.8M partial recovery that members who retired from 2011-2014 did not benefit from. This isn't about what the city did, it's what the APOA didn't do. The APOA did not represent and further disenfranchised a significant amount of members who were affected, but were fortunate enough to retire.

Anonymous said...

So sue the APOA and prove your case. Or keep anonymously complaining. And double dippers? Yeah, why did he DOJ say they are here? A culture of violence. I guess those senior guys were "cutting their teeth" on the citizens of Albuquerque. ENOUGH! The older officers have sat quietly by and allowed Schultz, Banks, Eden and Berry to ruin this department. You deserve nothing more than the pieces of silver that have bought your soul. A brave man would have spoken up when APD was going off the rail. You instead took your money and remained quiet. Move on, we don't need you, nor want you. You are part of the problem. You helped create the problem.

You have a very good point, and I agree that retirees should most definitely have a say in this vote as this is their fight too. I join their plight by voting "NO" but I don't think that very many others will see it the same as a very large percentage who would vote "YES" are far from retirement and either only care about their pay raise or fear retribution. The APOA did the mayors' bidding in divide and conquer by setting up the new contract and breach settlement as they did. I'd wonder if this is even legal?

Anonymous said...

When I learned that re-hires were essentially having to "pay to work" I realized then that they had a love for the job and were in it for the right reason, or that they were just plain crazy. Either way, I am glad that they are here as it is obvious that these officers are the most experienced, capable, and eager to help guys that I work with, especially the detectives that have helped me on some of my recent investigations. And the DWI officer who didn't hesitate to help me out a while back with the drunk that was responsible for my cluster rollover 45, he was a re-hire as well. These officers are of a culture that's being pushed out and is hoped to be forgotten by those who know nothing of honor and integrity. Although not retired from APD, I earned a pension from my previous employer, so I suppose that qualifies me as a double dipper too. So at what point are officers who are retired military or from law enforcement agencies outside the state also going to be villainized. I guess I'll be among the next group of officers that is targeted. It is so sad that such jealousy and hatred resonates within this misguided department and association.

Anonymous said...

1/15@ 12:30. The dippers that are referred to are PERA double dippers. They don't have to pay to work they can work anyplace but a PERA affiliate. They are not paying one dime to work they are just not adding to their PERA pension. Remember no one is forcing them to go back on the job and if they so "eager" to help then they should not mind the PERA deduction as a condition of honor and integrity.

Anonymous said...

Tremba is a POS and now the city should be vindictive like they always are and release all the info on what was done to cover for him so the feds can indict him for murder. That promotion would really help him after he was indicted. Talk about moot.....

Rehires need to clear out so younger people can get in. Or PERA should just change to a 30 year retirement, then you wouldn't have to double dip. Greed will ruin PERA for the younger people.

"Rehires need to clear out so younger people can get in." I just pissed myself reading that load of bullshit.
This entire world is fucked up because the old school mentality is being pushed out by millennial fucking morons who are so used to being rewarded for just showing up and so unaccustomed to criticism that the first time someone yells at them and picks up an ash tray they shit their pants and start shooting. Get the fuck out of here with your new blood bullshit. How about a command staff that punishes the wrong and rewards the right, instead of lying to protect the wrong and lying to fuck the right? Show me one new little pussy who has stood up to high level corruption, not one crying about an officer who smacked someone for punking up a new breed recruit who was allowing a punk criminal to take his heart, but a recruit or officer who refuses to go along with the bullshit command staff. Not one of you crybabies stick together, including your new breed time out card holding bitches you have relaxed the stress on. Anyone who thinks they are a cop, better check again. Those days are over, because the new breed and cowards of the old breed betray everyone, including the oath for a piece of filthy ass and a buck. I would love to hear you say this in front of me so I could knock you the fuck out with an open hand slap to your mouth.

Ah yes, "clear out the re-hires so that younger people could get in," because of course there are droves of these young applicants wanting to come on on at APD right. No, those applicant are instead knocking at BCSO's door down the street where their department is operating under sound leadership and is consistently at or above funded staffing levels. In contrast, APD's staffing is easily down over 30% since this quack administration took over and is is blindly obvious that there is absolutely no way to keep up with normal attrition. And now you want to contribute to those losses of manpower because some 34 is receiving a pension and you're not. Get over it! Those pensions are all well earned and these re-hires are employed within designated legal parameters. As for the eliminating the 20 year retirement, only an absolute idiot would suggest that. With very sound reasoning and intent, the 20 year retirement was negotiated many years ago by real 34's and and by a real union.

Who is the person who is feeling "entitled" here. It sounds like the rehire. Oh my goodness we should kiss your ass for bringing the DOJ to town.

What new young officer has stood up to corruption, how about the cadet who didn't sit silent when Cedric beat the shit out of that homeless guy. There is your example of change at APD. No veteran officers never stood up, not one. The veterans were too busy taking their pieces of silver to come back and find a closet to hide in. The rehires screwed the APOA over because Berry didn't need to give raises when he had you guys coming back. 80% of rehires didn't become 911 call takers, they went into hiding at SRO and the IT unit. So there you have answers to your questions, new cops don't stand for corrupt cops (cedric) and rehires don't give a shit about anything but their check book. And I love the final comment, that is why we don't need assholes like you on the force. You can't take honest debate without wanting to beat someone. Wow, and you praise the old way. You are such a fuck up.

So, this won't be a conflict problem during discovery? Please, enthrall me with your acumen.

I am sure we will see this play out in court, and not in a good way for the city, but like I said, this place is full of a lot of pantywaiste fairies who like to snipe from the shadows, so man up. Go see the man, and run your mouth to his face. Get it off your chicken chest. I am not affiliated with APD at all, so your profiling skills are shit like your brains. If you would like to discuss this with me too, I am available for that also. Otherwise, you are just a nothing with a mouth like everyone else. A pathetic nothing, because you have nothing and are constantly concerned with people making progress where you have failed. With morons like you there will be no progress, because it is all about you. Go to see the Taos gorge bridge and jump off. As far as your anger and violence crap, that is the age old excuse of you pasive aggressive pussies who want to run your mouth, and not have to answer for it. Take that mentality to any real city, and act like you do, and you would be found up an alley with a two by four shoved up your ass, and a canoe made out of your head. That's reality. You exist at the bottom of the food chain because you are allowed to. So next time you cry about scary aggression, You will hear again about the passive aggressive card your punk ass, and every other punk ass falls back on when they get approached head on over their kitchen bitch bullshit, dipshit. Now keep growing your weed up in Placitas you failure and looney toon.

You think he is the criminal here? You think that weak little pussy recruit who was letting himself get pushed around is a hero? You are more fucked up than I originally thought. If you think what Cedric did was anything more than an attention getter, for a bullying criminal who was taking advantage of a new recruit, who was so limp that he will eventually get someone killed due to his inability to deal with or hand out aggression, you are the imbecile. Entitled?!?! You are a joke. Maybe if passive little cowards do more than you say, things would be different, but all I see is a bunch of talk. You must be one of the little bitches running around writing working folks tickets, and doing jay walking tac plans out on San Mateo. Make sure you have your whistle clipped to your epaulet. The rehires didn't fuck anyone over. If you want to be an SRO. Go be one. Take some IT classes, and put in for the IT unit. I personally wouldn't want either, because it means either dealing with babies in the schools or brand spanking new crybabies in uniforms who can't be a cop without a computer, like you and the rest of your generation, worthless. Take away your IPHONE and MDT, and you are worthless. You couldn't develop a reason to stop a car these days without running the plate, and when you do, you need a gaggle of you pussies to get one guy in custody. You don't have the balls to go through a door in a foot pursuit. Instead, you back off, set up a perimeter like a pussy, and wait for ten more millennial bitches to come back your punk ass up while people inside get victimized, and it turns into a swat callout. Why would you care? Because, you are the generation of "let someone else deal with it." Hell, you can't even step up after shooting someone and cuff them. You stand there for 20 minutes holding them at gunpoint while they bleed out, and you want to cry about Cedric smacking the shit out of someone who asked for it? Your perspective is so skewed by your butthurt, and lack of life experience that means anything.

Your mayor is still Richard Berry who you voted in, Perry still shows up at your crime scenes drunk punking you out, you rely on criminals like Mowrer to tell you what to do, and none of you think about shit but yourselves. It is your last comment thst is pathetic. I tell it like it is and when you step over the line and talking breaks down to bullshit that you can't back up, you take a different course. It is a shame pussies like you can't understand that way of thinking, because msny friendships have been forged through a disagreement that turned into a brief war. The kind of friendships only men understand, you gutless pussy. When you go at people saying the field officer is the problem while you let such arrogance prevail, you are the worthless piece of shit who is stealing air and wasting people's time. There are fuckup cops, but what is going on at the higher level is comparing spilled milk to spilled polonium 210.

For the last 5 years Berry, his criminal CAO, and his lying police chiefs have been pissing in your faces and telling you it's raining, but you want to call people worthless? And you wonder why someone would want to slap the piss out of you. It would do you some good. Keep defending the APOA. The last two presidents were charged with felonies. The last vice president resigned like a pussy when his buddy Sigala got caught and is now hiding. Fat Wiloughby talks out of his ass, the temporary VP shit an unarmed kid, lied about it and was giglioed in court as liar, and the attorneys are in the cities pockets. For the rest of you who are hiding in closet positions and who threatened to quit if Eden moved you to the field, shame shame shame. You discredit the badge. It's too bad Eden doesn't have the balls to move you to uniform patrol and call your bluff.

Quit hiding the truth, and where's the money?

Anonymous said...

No, it is a "credit" because of monies already returned to some, not all, APOA members, by way of raise/pay adjustments as denoted by the CABQ and APOA by the term used, "partial recovery." Longevity/super-longevity has to be funded somehow as well right... By saying some and not all actually falls short of this heist because it should actually be some (and some who were never affected i.e., those who were not even hired at the time of the breach, 2010-2011. So in essence, the monies that were allocated as "partial recovery" for the affected members was actually a recruitment/retention ploy with "raises" and longevity/super-longevity incentives. So if you retired before the 2014 contract year the CABQ/APOA says YOU'RE SHIT OUT OF LUCK!!!

To be very clear here, I believe that ALL of us whether retired or not know that we have been screwed over by this administration and that for the service we provide, and in the conditions that we provide it, we deserve to be paid better. But more importantly, we need to be treated better. Our once great department is being operated like a frkn Walmart, APD is not a business dingleberry!!! None of those six-digit making assholes on the 5th/11th floor do what we do, not on their best day. And here we are letting them, along with the asswipes in the APOA, "divide and conquer" our department.

Look the the fog and mirrors guys...

Anonymous said...

Correction: Look beyond the fog and mirrors...

Let's be real here, this administration views each and everyone of us as a replaceable commodity and not as a asset. A faceless number with in a hive system. They don't care about APD Officers as men and women with families and our own personal issues, they only care about the outer image that the department projects and they will do anything to shit on "us" and protect the system, i.e., the manner in which apd/cabq is protecting greg brachle. And even when the attrition rate is 3:1, only the outer projected image concerns this administration since their slanted portrayal is in the hands of local media who in-turn, they have in their back pocket.

Anonymous said...

Willoughby talks all this shit about having our backs. He is a fat fucking liar. For cutting these bullshit deals, he will be rewarded like all of the past back stabbers were. You see, Lopez hasn't been terminated yet. Mowrer is another story. That skinney assed little creep has gotten steady pay increases from the union for years. He is a criminal, and hand in hand, just as guilty as Schultz in what has been done to this department. If you all want to make a stand, walk away from the APOA, and make the FOP the union for APD. The national backing of the FOP will pull Berry's heart through his asshole for this shit. You want things to change with these scum bags? It has to be drastic and all or none, otherwise you will get steamrolled. If you collectively walk out on the APOA, IT WILL ALL BE OVER. The more control you take from them, the less they can do to you. If an East Coast FOP attorney had gotten ahold of that contract, Berry would be paying every single red cent, plus interest, and punitive damages. But as usual, no one cares until they are the next on the chopping block, then it is the end of the world.

Anonymous said...

The walking away part is easier said than done as the CABQ recognizes the APOA as the "exclusive representative" for sworn, non-probationary personnel. Without the "APOA" the CABQ could just do whatever it wishes, as it seems this administration does anyways. However, the APOA could be decertified by the membership and replaced by another entity which could be referred to as the "APOA" for bargaining and representation purposes. An idea like this was discussed and pursued some 15-20 years ago with the local Teamsters Union, but momentum fizzled as membership dues would have increased significantly. There are options...

It is so absurd that the APOA endorsed any contract that compromises officers’ rights under the law and due process. Any language in the contract that discusses the modification of standards or adoption of a blanket policy pertaining to the protections afforded from Miranda, or in this case Garrity, of which these are intended for the individual, is a complete violation of officers’ rights. As inconsequential as it might appear it is not, and the APOA/Mowrer actually knows better and they are complicit in the furtherance of unfair detrimental treatment of APD Officers. Why do you think this issue was the least discussed and documented matter, tucked away at the very end? But of course, in order to get a “raise” via CBA some concessions must be made right (sarcasm). And to let less informed, unaffected junior officers, cast the vote on such a contract that is all-inclusive with matters that are issues of litigation is absolutely misguided and criminal. Yes, the “raise” along with the breach of contract settlement ARE NOT matters of collective bargaining, but issues of a five year long legal battle. So in essence, the membership voted on and agreed to a contract that includes monies awarded via litigation and NOT newly negotiated raises, and allowed the administration to take a stab at officers’ rights and due process. Great, what’s next…

I would pay triple the dues to be rid of the shit bags fucking us into the ground at the APOA. I will never forget Doyle addressing the board for his partner and punking out Mowrer so loud in the APOA office that it was embarrassing, and how those guys were betrayed. When shit like that happens, every officer in the department should be stepping up. That's asking a little too much though. If we had 1000 cops who 82'd eachother like those two, Berry would have been castrated, and Schultz would have been found in a dumpster. The level of cowardice here is beyond comprehension.

Funny how the APOA left Jacob High and dry. They can't even go on camera or on air to support him. Yellow belly punks on both sides. APD Admin and APOA left a brother behind. Yes, with exception of the very onset when Stephanie was arranging to get Jacob's family into town, the APOA has essentially moved back onto the CABQ's jock. Fucking dispicable!!! And Jacob is continuing to suffer beyond the physical and emotional as he's on 60% base pay with workman's compensation forcing a huge financial burden on him. And the CABQ is doing this to Jacob, because rather than making early concessions with a settlement, they forced him to file suit which could take years to settle. Bullshit!!! The CABQ has paid out million(+) dollar settlements to the families of people who were actually committing crimes when they got shot by an APD Officer, yet Jacob was only doing his job. The CABQ better set Jacob and his family up in such a way that neither her nor his wife ever have to even consider the stresses of debt again, and for his wife to never have to consider working again. And greg brachle, as much as I was concerned for his own sanity and well being at the time of incident, now I've concluded that he probably should put himself away. What he did was beyond gross negligence, but is absolutely criminal!!! greg brachle should have been arrested and charged just as any other scumbag criminal who shoots a police officer. And to see and hear eric garcia and les brown at the hospital in those early days, you cowardly complicit assholes!!! I hope that the bitch named KARMA will be knocking on your doors as well...

3:44,

Just like the "skate park shooting", National media need's to get ahold of this story. Guaranteed the City idiots would scurry and make things right if the National spotlight was on this ridiculous situation. The real slap in the face is Brachle basically is given time to retire free from any repercussions. That incident is really the pinnacle of the State of affairs of our City and State. Ask any of the Narcs,Commander Brown was basically a no show at any point directly after this shooting. Now the Mayor touts him as one of the best in the Journal. Fucking backwards world here.
