Does anyone remember the hashtag #NEVERTRUMP started here in New Mexico by the Governor's camp, especially that little pantywaste Darren White, as he constantly attacked Trump during his campaign? We here at the Eye do, because we did a story on it. (SEE IT HERE)We are going to make sure everyone else out there remembers what these self serving parasites did, as the presidential campaign was taking place! You see, Martinez and all of her political rats wanted to have their cake, and eat it too. They enjoy the short memory of the public, and they think playing the "it's all good now" game makes it all go away. Now, when their worst fears materialized, Martinez and the rest of the two faced, fence riding, back stabbing cowards like herself, and her favorite mayor Berry are ready to take it on the face. And take it all over the face they will.
This speaks volumes of the character of politicians like we have here today. They sell out YOU, and they sell out themselves. They stand for nothing. They are lower than those they point the finger at. As a matter of fact, they are disgusting, and not worthy of the respect of a field mouse. They are so lacking in their own self respect that they pathetically grovel.
After backing Berry in destroying the city of Albuquerque to keep her position, while doing a piss poor job herself, as she shat all over this state, Martinez had the audacity, and hypocrisy to say "Last night‘s victory is a testament to the American people’s frustration with Washington, and a federal government that has left them behind and weakened America’s standing on the world stage." Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah. Oh boy, how funny these idiots are! Look at how quickly they separate themselves from other levels of government, while acting as if they are not even in the same ocean rather the same boat! Oh no, Mrs Martinez, the people are more fed up with YOUR state and local government, than they are anything else. They are sick and tired of a city that walks on everyone, a state that covers for them, and both who obstruct the federal government from doing anything about it. How's that, you self righteous fraud? The people are tired of assholes who have drunken pizzahhh parties, while throwing beer bottles from roof tops, like drunken frat members. They are tired of bullies, who throw their weight around to make the police go away, as they slur their words. They are tired of a Mayor like Berry. We don't need to get into why, on this post because this blog is full of a thousand reasons. You politicians are the problem.
We here at the Eye enjoy watching these dishonorable cowards walk back their comments, after they hedged their bets by publicly not supporting, or remaining silent about supporting Trump to avoid the rage of Hillary Clinton had she won. We here at the Eye say ENJOY YOUR FACIALS, SCUM BAGS. We knew you all would be on your knees mid election day, as Hillary Clinton cancelled her fireworks celebration in New York city. Maybe your water boy Jay McCleskey can hand you the towel afterwards.
The Piercing Truth
This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Pooof! It's 2016!
2015 is now history and our politicians will tell you all is just fine
with Albuquerque.
Fine for the top administration who just keep getting fatter off the work of the rest of us. Fat paychecks for all from a Mayor who gets caught in one lie after another to a Police Chief who can't even hold a press conference and has to have spokeperson hold them for him.
Good for top administration at the Police Department who took money away from the rank and file officers to feather their own overpaid nest. It is a good year for Raymond Schultz that was never held accountable for Taser by the do nothing City Council.
For all of us nobodies, 2015 was not so good. Violent crime has risen 10% while we have a shooting almost an a nightly basis. People being murdered in their driveway trying to protect their property, or children being murdered in road rage or sitting in a home watching their friends play cards. Children being abducted in car jacking and left alone in a cold parking lot. People being robbed while at shopping centers. Police Officers being shot while protecting us, such as Officer Golson. Police Officers murdered while protecting us such as Officer Webster (AND WE STILL WANT TO KNOW WHERE HIS BACKUP WAS ).
Police Officers shot by his fellow Officer such as Officer Grant. Officer Grant forced to file a lawsuit against The City to make them do the right thing to take care of his injuries. Of course The City Attorney will tell you it was Officer Grant's fault. We are number two in drug overdose death in the nation. In 2014 we were 49th in the nation for the economy, violent crime and jobs. In 2015 we improved by politician standards we dropped to number 50 in the nation. There are not enough Police Officers on the street to protect us or to handle calls with seventy retiring now at the beginning of 2015. Lies keep on coming from the politicians from a murder at a skate park that the video finally released shows a very different story from the one the politicians made up. Lets not forget Renaldo Chavez in charge of releasing information to the media. Mr. Chavez was fired because he was not releasing information he was ordered not to by the politicians and he, how dare him, protested their lies and criminal actions! So now another lawsuit because the politicians are caught in yet another lie. But not to worry the politicians take care of themselves. Look a Councilmen Winter. Appointed to take over at A.P.S. until a new top administrator was found. Now appointed Secretary Of State. Wow what a retirement! We have heard that you're buying a home in Florida Mr. Winter. Is it true? We have a Secretary Of State in jail, and a Governor who knows how to throw one hell of a party and is the laughing stock of the country.
Never fear all is well. We did have a hot air balloon raise a Civic Plaza to ring in 2016, but there were not hundreds in attendance as the politicians said, there were at most a few dozen. Perhaps it was the gunfire at midnight that kept people away.

Want to know why New Mexico is last in everything ? The answer to that
question is right in front of your face Mr./Mrs. Nobody. Politicians, our
Secretary Of State is in jail and our Governor Martinez should be facing
criminal charges. Really Mr./Mrs.nobody , you can't make this stuff up. As
reported on all local media and national media as well our Governor
Susanna Martinez embarrassed the entire State Of New Mexico at a out of
control Christmas Party at a hotel in Santa Fe.
According to news reports the party was loud and beer bottles were being thrown from a hotel balcony (in APD lingo it was a 39-2). Police were called but that is when our Governor takes over and calls Police Dispatch and demands to know who called the Police and demanding the Police be called off. When Police Dispatch stated they could not do that our Governor argues with the Dispatcher and tells her yes you can it's public record.
Well guess what Governor it is not public record and you as a former District Attorney know that very well. The Governor keeps on arguing with Dispatch saying there were no beer bottles thrown it was snowballs. We at the EYE didn't see any snow in the media video of the hotel. Did they really go downstairs, scrape it up off of the few snowbanks, and then bring it upstairs?
Why would adults throw anything off a hotel balcony ? Our Governor then confronts the hotel front desk. Our Governor states she was not intoxicated and was having pizza in the hotel room with her elderly mother. Well that's a true politician for you. True politicians will always say they are going to take care of the children and the elderly. REALLY GOVERNOR ?
We at the EYE by the sound of The Governors voice to dispatch really sounded intoxicated. All Police we have spoken to agree that The Governor sounds inebriated. Further proof would be that when you become intoxicated your judgement is the first thing to be effected, is it not Governor ? So what if one of us nobody's had done what the Governor has done ? What criminal charges could you be facing ?
Here is a short list: INTIMIDATION OF A WITNESS, INTERFERING IN A POLICE INVESTIGATION, AND 911 ABUSE.
We all know that nothing will happen to the Governor. There will be no investigation, there will be no criminal charges, everyone involved is to busy C.Y.A.. If it was one of us nobody's you would be booked, jailed, and waiting to be seen by a judge.
P.S. Where are all of her defenders? You know, people like Darren White and Adam Feldman who post and tweet endless accolades whenever Susana reads a book on goats to kids? Funny that they disappear when the going gets tough.....But we know that's what Darren does... don't we Darren?

Going Out of State
It seems despite the best efforts of Martinez and Berry and those controlling them from the shadows, things that are of major significance to New Mexico are either staying away or leaving. And let's be real, what counts for "best" in our little backwater state is really just not that.
TESLA
No shocker here (yes that was an Eye pun). Not only does the car not consume fossil fuels but the manufacturer is clearly NOT a Koch family friend. Well, duh, NM is only open for business for associates who donate to Martinez...leading to more martinezizing of the state. I mean really who wants a $5 Billion investment in the state? Have fun Nevada, may we'll be seeing you soon too!

HAN
There was a lot of widespread reports that a federal magistrate judge's granting Berry/Perry's desire to see this case go away accomplished just that. Well folks, this case is now headed to Denver to the US Court of Appeals where it may be heard finally by a panel of judges from outside of New Mexico. We'll see what this means but for Berry and company, it means this matter is not going away. In articles published across the country by the AP, we found the closing paragraph on the case rather....eerie:
City officials have called the case frivolous but have not explained the highly irregular and suspicious circumstances involving APD’s botched investigation and contamination of the crime scene.
http://kunm.org/post/headlines-hans-family-appeals-kirtland-yanks-spill-reports
UPDATE:
Can't make this up. While the actions of Ray Schultz, Darren White, Allen Banks, and all the other cronies brought upon the city one of its most disgraceful acts forever in APD's history, Albuquerque city attorney David Tourek is actually having his brother in law Steve French go after the Han family for their legal fees. Here's a breakdown of bills sent to the city by French and Associates:
8/30/13 $10,998.49
9/30/13 $9,542.98
10/30/13 $7,157.23
11/30/13 $3,755.70
12/31/13 $10,916.57
1/30/14 $6,147.15
2/26/14 $7,655.85
3/31/14 $13,899.30
4/25/14 $5,778.00
TOTAL: $75,851.27
Hmmmm.....so is the city going to go after Brett Lampiris-Tremba for costing us over $8,000,000?

Ye Olde Towne CrEYE'r
In the days before your loveable Eye-on-Albuquerque there used to be something called the town crier. This person would broadcast information of concern to the citizenry so that they would know what was going on. Because in the United States of America, an informed citizenry is one of the best defenses against despotism.
Sadly, large newspapers displaced the lil old town crier and he had to find a new job. Then along came the internet, and poof he found a way to do what had been done so well before. Raw and revealing information. Information that scares those that hold office, or desire to hold office. Well we know our readers have grown somewhat numb to all the treachery and corruption unfolding in New Mexico's largest city of Albuquerque.
We also know that there are two large campaigns in full swing here in the Land of the Shrug and in the spirit of our great great great great great great grandfather, we're going to poke a little fun at our current crop of governor and senate candidates....and before their minions start sending their little emails and complaints to Google and Twitter (believe it or not they do!) crying about the little boo-boos their boss is getting courtesy of the Eye, please, for lack of a better expression, suck it up or get off the stage. If you can't handle a little shin kicking then you have no business being in office for anything. Today a quick little overview, then a more detailed look at each candidate over the next week or so...
SUSANA MARTINEZ
Ok we've heard enough about how she's the country's first Hispanic governor. We don't care and frankly please show us something that she can honestly be proud of. In virtually every metric the state is in the toilet and years behind neighboring states in economic progress. The idea of kicking out our best and highest paying tenant, the US Gov't, while not having a replacement in the wings was not too smart. Sadly, thanks to her, we have a new word: "Martinezed" which refers to a scenario where one comes in yelling and screaming but accomplishes nothing.
GARY KING
As the Attorney General for the State of New Mexico, the only thing we remember you doing is shutting down horse slaughter plants. You made a great presentation on APD's gross conduct at the death scene of Mary Han, but in the words of a tough old lady, "Where's the beef?" We all know how corrupt things are but you haven't shown us much Gary. As the chief law enforcement officer in a state that's stocked pond of corruption we are concerned that you'll let things be as they are. We know you're a "King" in your own mind but there's got to be something other than your family's name to convince those on the fence to vote for you. Step up or step aside.
TOM UDALL
This is our state's senior senator. Funny we didn't know that either until we decided to look up who his opponent was running against. That speaks volumes Tom. We know your family is rich in political history but let's look at the field you're playing in, crops are thin and what exists is all but dead. Having a sitting governor that says "thanks but no thanks" to the Feds doesn't help we're sure but for crying out loud DO SOMETHING! Show us you have a pulse at least. We'd love to say "You d'all that?!" but you haven't done much.
ALLEN WEH
Allen is a full-bird USMA colonel and what baffles us is why a person with nearly twelve rows of medals would want to get in the fray with this crowd. Oh right, we forgot, power. What is the deal with these very wealthy conservatives that make their fortune in contracts with the very government they desire to downsize to virtually nothing? Is this like a self-hate thing or are they really trying to deprive others of the very opportunities they so richly profited from? And really, using images of jihadist murderers to fuel your campaign. That's WAY crazy.
More coming....

Will the Real Susana Martinez Please Come On Down!!!
With all the drama of the state's largest city unfolding on an hourly basis, your loveable Eye has been remiss.
You see, believe it or not there's a governor's race going on! And if you haven't been paying attention there are some very unusual things going on.
You see, four years ago, the state was facing an "illegal alien crisis" that candidate Susana Martinez campaigned to stop. Now, it's an "immigration issue" and Governor and candidate Susana Martinez is visiting the Immigration and Custom Enforcement holding facility down in Artesia visiting women and children who are detained there.
As if that doesn't strike you as odd, there's this little tidbit. Usually, Republicans are all gung-ho when it comes to supporting veterans. You do remember what veterans are right? Those former soldiers, sailors, and airmen who served in our nation's armed forces? Well, it seems our Governor is just a little bit picky about her support of veterans. You see, when it comes to draping herself in a flag and saying she's all for them, she's got no problem doing that. But when it comes to actually supporting them, well, not so fast.
There's a little case involving a veteran that is headed to New Mexico's supreme court and it involves federally protected rights under the Uniformed Services Employment and ReEmployment Rights Act. In a nutshell:
USERRA protects civilian job rights and benefits for veterans and members of the active and Reserve components of the U.S. armed forces. USERRA provides that returning service-members must be promptly reemployed in the same position that they would have attained had they not been absent for military service, with the same seniority, status and pay, as well as other rights and benefits determined by seniority.
And a certain soldier, Phillip Ramirez had his USERRA rights violated when he was fired by none other than CYFD. Mr. Ramirez filed suit and won. The state, under direction of Governor Martinez, appealed and the court found that federal law has no authority over state law. (Huh?). Mr. Ramieriz then appealed to the supreme court and was granted his appeal. Now entering the fight on behalf of Mr. Ramirez is the state's Attorney General and possibly the US Dept. of Justice. Of course, who is on the other side? Susana Martinez. Here's the governor posing with Mr. Ramirez unbeknownst to her that this is the man suing her. But for all she seems to care....it's a photo-op with a vet!!
So folks, it doesn't take a genius to figure this out, but the question is why would Susana Martinez drape herself in "immigrants" but now abandon veterans who have been harmed by her own administration?
To those the support Susana, the floor is yours. Please justify her actions that clearly do not support a veteran's rights.
We want to be sure we get it, to Susana Martinez: Illegal Immigrants--OK Veteran Employment Rights: NO OK.

2nd Chance
Earlier this week a report of a DV incident was forwarded to us by one of our Eyes that concerned the pet snake of Albuquerque mayor RJ Berry and New Mexico governor, Susana Martinez. The report caused quite a stir because after all, how ironic is it that the darling of the current Republican power holders was arrested for beating a woman. While we're not really surprised a few of our readers took issue with this because it happened more than ten years ago. Of course, this is when McCleskey was arrested and our Eyes tell us it's just that, the ONLY time he was arrested for beating a woman.
But, oops, Jay found himself in MDC again, this time for DWI. We at the Eye hate it when that happens....
If any of our friends in the DWI Unit want to give us their perspective on it, we're all...."Eyes".... We'd asked for such info from APD's elite tactical anti-stalking unit, but they told us they don't know anything about making arrests.

Bloviate..... JAY McCleskey police reports.
Bloviate:
/ˈblōvēˌāt/ verb informal 1.talk at length, esp. in an inflated or empty way.
As the city settles in the shadow of the mayoral election, RJ's paper, the Albuquerque Journal, continues with their self congratulatory articles as to why and how RJ won reelection. The paper promotes RJ's success to the challenger's poor efforts to RJ's likability. Of course absent from any discussion is facts or any real meat regarding his endless failures. The paper endlessly bloviates aboute RJ this and RJ that in how he won. Or more interesting and objective review would've analyzed how RJ was not beaten and how RJ could not lose given the paper's endless fawning over RJ
Finally, out from the shadows comes RJ's political adviser: Jason McCleskey. Of the election, Jason says, "We made a concerted effort to reach out to voters who had not supported Republican candidates in the 2012 election, particularly Hispanics and women. Mayor Berry had a very compelling message that resonated across the board.”
Compelling? We at the Eye know what's compelling. What's compelling is how RJ has such a cozy relationship with people who have documented records of breaking laws and rules. So, while Jason enjoys the $250,000+ paid to him by RJ thanks to the many donors who we've listed. Here's a little hint of Jason's history...and his true nature.

SusanaGate: The Start of the END
While the flames of the forest fires in the Jemez Mountains have been spreading wider and burning hotter, not even they are reaching the heat of controversies involving, yet again, our state's leaders. Over the last few days we've seen Governor Martinez's former campaign manager arrested and charged with internet related crimes and lying to FBI agents. Then federal agents then arrested a contract political fundraiser after they uncovered child pornography on his computers when they were searched in connection with the investigation of the campaign manager.
Then one of the Albuquerque Journal's senior reporters, Mike Gallagher, unbelievably reports that the images seized by federal agents involved six-year old children having sex with an adult. This type of reporting give the impression to the public it's okay. IT IS NOT OKAY! (HEY DUMBASS REPORTER AND EDITOR, SIX-YEAR OLDS DON'T HAVE SEX WITH ADULTS, THEY ARE RAPED BY ADULTS!)
Then of course another contract fundraiser and daughter of a prominent Republican party member came forward and confirmed she was interviewed by FBI agents. She advised that the interview had nothing to do with emails but entirely focused on the Albuquerque Downs and thus finally confirmed there's an active investigation involving the ABQ Downs racino contract that Governor Martinez fast-tracked to her campaign friends, and husband's hunting buddies, from New Orleans.
Republican pet snake political strategist Jay McCleskey came to Martinez's rescue in an effort to redirect any criticism on her. In the unusual move of a sitting governor claiming to be a victim, McCleskey ghostwrote for Martinez and unleashed a personal attack on the lawyers hired to represent the people accused of crimes. As a side bar, like them or not, criminal defense lawyers are a necessary part of the justice system, and since when don't Republicans use them? Last time we checked, Martinez's personal lawyer, Paul Kennedy, was a criminal defense lawyer himself. But of course, McCleskey underestimated his opponents. By attacking them with a smear campaign maligning their professional efforts it was only a matter of time before Democratic State Party chairman Sam Bregman weighed in:
"..perhaps your motive is to change the conversation from the miserable, sorry job that you have done as Governor when it comes to creating jobs in this state and educating our children."
"..perhaps your motive is to change the conversation from the miserable, sorry job that you have done as Governor when it comes to creating jobs in this state and educating our children."
Bregman continued to deride Martinez for essentially prosecutorial misconduct. Of course over at the Downs, Darren White's constant self absorbed tweets have all but come to a standstill after political blogger Joe Monahan punked him out for tweeting while at work. Given that the gap toothed failed sheriff never managed a construction project in his life, it's not surprising to us that contractors who work over at the Downs tell us that Darren's main function is to wander around the job site and ask annoying questions about hammers and nails.
But what does all this mean?
Obviously with the Albuquerque mayoral election in full swing a common denominator is political strategist Jay McCleskey. He advises Martinez and he advises Berry and is buddies with White. But with all this pushback going on upon Martinez (where she personally posts on her Facebook page...um really?) and what clearly is a federal investigation that is unfolding (and we're not even talking about APD) and expanding we can expect Berry to simply hide as McCleskey's time is consumed in dealing with Martinez.

The Eye expects Berry will not be seen in public, will not engage Pete Dinelli or Paul Heh in any capacity, will make few if any press statements, and will be constantly unavailable as he hides behind his pet dog Rob Perry or his pet mule and other common denominator....Paul Kennedy. But from the looks of a case forwarded to us from one of our legal Eyes, it seems Kennedy is going to be busy with his lawyer Mickey Barnett as it seems his deceased partner's family is suing him over his tampering with her estate. So with all this going on, and of course don't think for minute we've forgotten about you Schultz and Levy, it seems Berry is going to have a very hot summer. And all we can say is more is coming, and we have some of our own tasty surprises for these pets snakes, dogs, and mules.

RECIPE FOR DESPICABLE
While the soon to be departed Mayor of Albuquerque, RJ Berry, is going around collecting money for his campaign from out of city voters, a recent article caught our Eye.
We know the list is almost endless as to what's gone wrong since Berry became mayor, but it's worth repeating: we've lost more jobs (3,900) proportionally than any other city in the country, we have fewer people employed now than when Berry took office in December 2009, APD is under DOJ investigation, the person responsible for APD's demise is being allowed to walk away with a fat 90% of gross income pension, real estate prices have yet to recover to their pre-2009 prices, crime rate is higher than ever before, more people are leaving Albuquerque than moving in, cover up after cover up plagues the city in gross disparity compared to other cities, APD's issues continue to bewilder even the most honest fan--low staffing, increased expenses, bottomless morale, and expensive hi-price toys being run by people with little or no law enforcement experience, and the list goes on.
What is venture capital? In basic terms it's simply money private people or investment groups invest in private companies to get them off the ground. It's a reflection of the optimism in a given economy. People invest their money with the expectation of a return and here in Albuquerque, it seems there is NO HOPE for a return thanks to the policies of RJ Berry. No seed money, no growth. It's that simple.
And while we have Berry to thank for implementing his failed policies, we have the cast of official and unofficial advisers surrounding him. It is much as their advise as Berry's implementation that have brought this city to it's knees. So a vote for Berry is a vote for the despicable.
RECIPE FOR DESPICABLE
Here is the big question: is this a recipe for cooks or crooks? We all know the real answer...
