The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Kirby Case Connection?

We've been scratching our head over this whole Kirby grand jury thing since last night. It seemed strange that suddenly some 14 months after the Daskalos DWI Dash occurred, a grand jury would be impaneled to investigate charges of conspiracy and tampering with public records.

Some time back we heard that former Officer Kirby was considering suing the city in order to get his job back. As it happens Mr. Kirby filed suit in District Court September 5th naming as defendants the City of Albuquerque, the Albuquerque Police Department, and the City of Albuquerque Personnel Board (you can find the filing at nmcourts.com or by clicking here.)

Could this grand jury thing and the civil suit filed by Mr. Kirby be connected? Being of a somewhat suspicious nature it's pretty easy for us to connect the dots. There's an old saying "the best defense is a good offense." What could be more offensive than an indictment? Sure would make it difficult to get your law enforcement gig back if you're on trial for breaking the law.

Hire Kirby back! Dude made a bone headed mistake and it bit him in the ass. His mistake did not change the outcome. Daskalos was still arrested and tried. My brother is a officer in Phoenix and he tells me all the time that officers let people they know slide or go for small shit includeing DUI. Are you telling me that doesn't happen here? RIGHT! Give em' his job back and move on there are worse shit bags in the dept. I'm sure.

Wait a minute. He tried to get his friend out of custody and was fired? Is officer Floyd still employed? Right he wasn't speeding *WINK, WINK*. Ask the family of that dead grandmother who is worse Kirby or Floyd? Ask the grandparents of Regensburg who is worse Kirby or Chavez for refusing to intervene in a domestic because he was off duty. We all know how that turned out. Cut throat bitches. Kirby should move on. Don't know why he would want to work with some of you cut and run pussies.

Things are a heatin' up!

Youwzza!!

Lets see the "EYE" do a poll on this subject. Should Kirby get his job back or not?

FIRE HIM, if he lets his friends influence EASY judgement calls, such as letting him bond out on his own, then imagine what he (kirby) would do if his back was to a corner.

You play with fire, you will get burned, lesson learned the hard way

Another DC comment. You just haven't been caught yet. But you will.

What bugs me is this. If Kirby did receive a TM from somebody (i.e. 5th/11th floors...) where is the record of it and/or why didn't he use it as leverage in his defense. If there never was one and he really did try to give his buddy a break by taking him directly to MDC instead of via the transport van then that was a dumb decision. Is either scenario worthy of termination?...maybe, it depends on his record. Either way, if the 1st scenario is what occurred than the Grand Jury indictment needs to be looking at conspiracy in perspective of identifying WHO the other party is.

To be sure there are significant issues in APD with much thanks being owed to criminally poor leadership starting with the Mayor, Bakas and on through the recent past DCOP's. I've been and seen other departments and I can tell you right now your average officer in this department is very very clean. With the recent lowering of standards to bring numbers up that will change but for the most part, citizens in this city have no idea how good they have it.

You are correct. As a civilian, I couldn't agree more. However, when you have corruption at top levels, starting with the Mayor, it will filter down to certain levels, Bakus, Perlman,Chief, DCs, PAST & present.
When you have corruption in City government, you inevitably will have higher crime rates in the streets. A corrupt government always lends itself to that. A society recognizes that fact and most of the time it is a pretty good barometer in direct correlation to the crime rate. Is it any wonder why Albuquerque appears to have problems in this area? Factor that with the permissiveness in declaring this city as an amnesty city for illegals in order to get votes in your next election is just plain wrong and the citizens should once and for all send a clear message to this Mayor and this Chief and the rest of the goombas, that their behavior and this illegal immigrant criminal 'green light' and free pass to what ever they damn well please needs to end.
I don't know about you, but the last time I checked, The Mayor and the Chief work for the citizens, are paid by the citizens and it is about time that the City Council step in and start looking into and investigating just what it is that these scoundrels are up to.
That's what THEY were elected for. Otherwise, without some kind of policing of this City and the people elected or appointed, they feel they have the right to break every law that they can. So far they have gotten away with it.
STOP THE CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES, THE CORRUPTION, AND OVERALL BAD BEHAVIOR AT CITY HALL.
I along with the rest of the citizenry call upon you,City Council to get in there, get your noses bloodied and stand up on behalf of the people who elected you, and say "damn the politics" and do what's right.

When was the last time somebody other than an officer got disciplined or fired??? I'm all for clearing out deadwood and dumbass cops but that also includes those with stripes, bars and stars on.

For example, how many times has a certain sergeant (MG) been seen downtown with 20 year old girls on his arms around the Library bar? Beyond despicable that is.

Anonymous said...

Dear MG,

please quit while u can! 20 year olds today. 14 year olds posing as 20 year olds is next! Chavez found this out the hard way,,,

We need to elect a mayor that will clean house top to bottom, get rid of the political incompetents, (GP,BP,) and the like, and those 40 & 50 year olds that discard their wives and children for some
no- brain bimbos. After all 'Monkey see-Monkey do'.
In other words, if examples aren't set at the top, then the rest of the minions follow suit, as they see that their superiors can do it, why not me. It's time that officials holding public office should start acting like adults, instead of a bunch of juveniles. Grow up and zip up.
As stated by Louisiana's recent Governor elect ( Bobby Jingal), corruption and immoral behavior is a drain on the economic climate in our city as businesses that are looking at Albuquerque to relocate will give it a second look before subjecting their relocated families to a city that is being run by a bunch of hoodlums and whore mungers.

I've been to Louisiana as recent as 2 months ago and I don't think we should take any advice from a crime ridden, welfare state, and economically depressed state. Also what is a "MUNGER"?

The entire 5th floor is immoral, not near as bad as the last, but they do not lead by example. In addition, they hold their heads up high and don't associate with the troops. It's that better than thou attitude. DC M.C. and K.M are the only ones that will talk to you and shake your hand. The rest think they are too good.

The last group of DC's, ES, FJ and PC chased women all day long. That's what they did all the time. That's why they are all still around APD. No women in the private sector will have them, not to mention they can't get jobs out there, because of their reputations.

Anonymous said...

They used their badge and uniform to intimidate fellow(female) officers and strippers. It's said they were total geeks and losers in high school(PC). Couldn't get a date and didn't even get laid until they had a badge.
Their women are scanks.
At least fire fighter's chicks are hot.

At least fire fighter's chicks are hot???
Please what are you 12? 13? Referring to women as "chicks" is so blasé.
Go ahead look it up.
Next time try to sound at least a little more like a gentleman and a little less like a Neanderthal.

Neanderthal? If you're a women, you get a pass. If you're a guy you must be some Kotex. And that's the last time I compliment AFD on their choice of Chicks,Mamas,Hoes,Broads,Dames, Ladies of the evening,or girl friends, or whatever crack in the sack they can find.

Which one are you, Thelma or Louise?

Capt, You are not!

Huh! this makes me laugh. I'm neither AFD or APD.

I'm the 'BUS boy'. Get it?
