The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Golly Gee People are Just Picking on Me

Over the last week, three major articles on the city and it's failed police department have reached millions of people.

First came the article in the New Yorker magazine (READ IT HERE)
In this article the author profiled APD in light of shooting which resulted in a multi-million dollar verdict. But in true Berry leadership, no changes resulted in holding those responsible for such errors or to make sure such mishaps don't happen again.

Then came a multi-page spread in the ABQ Free Press (READ IT HERE)
Which detailed like never before the last days of prominent civil rights lawyer Mary Han before her suspicious death and the crimes perpetrated by APD brass at her death scene.

Then yesterday, Rolling Stone put forward its profile of APD (READ IT HERE)

Meanwhile, where is the city's leadership? Busy throwing deputy district attorneys out of crime scenes, crying foul about the authors of the articles without disputing the facts of the articles. And giving themselves pay raises while officer after officer walks out the door. Berry even made the crazy statement that crime is down because our homicide rate is low. Everybody knows that the true indicator of crime is assault and battery numbers--which are through the roof thanks to Berry's failures with APD. And of course even more lawsuits come in day after day after day...
In a supreme case of irony, last year the nation watching how a homeless person was shot and killed when his only crime was unlawfully camping. Yet here we are a year later and hordes of homeless are unlawfully camping in the downtown section of the state's largest city:
But alas, our poor Berry is not doing well. Instead of taking control of the situation he's doing photo ops with the Colorado Rockies and while riding his bike along the river. Here's a nice little progression sent in by one of our Eyes....while he presents a "golly gee people are just picking on me" attitude on the outside, things are definitely not well inside.
Berry spoke the other night about how he thought his administration would look in the context of this city's history. Here's a hint for you RJ, it will be a footnote. And it will read something like this:

 1. Berry, RJ; Mayor of Albuquerque from 2009-2017. Occupied office of mayor but did nothing while city's economy and infrastructure fell into blight and/or federal control. Failed candidate for other offices.

Both Berry and Perry blame everything on experienced officers leaving or "retention bonus"staying. They need experienced mgrs. period so if they don't stay ABQ. and the tax payers loose. Ok B&P can you please tell us what experience deputy c a o Gilbert had when you found him in the toy box?

Point well made Eye. Homellesnes stil a big problem with no solution in sight but our mayor goes to greet balloonist in Cabo. Talk about priorities!! Yes your office will say that u were out in the "freezing cold" taking a survey but the next day you not the homeless were on a plane to Cabo. By the way how much did the taxpayers she'll out for the Mexican photo op?

Here's some advise for Berry. Don't go on TV bragging about how the homicide rate in albuquerque is dropping because of education and great policing. The homicide rate being down was a fluke. Now we have 3 homicides in one night and it makes all citizens in Albuquerque look stupid and violent. At least the news reported the homicide unit was short staffed, Berry just keeps lying about the numbers.

I was looking through the ABQ transparency website and can't help but wonder. Everyone in APD knows that Joe Wolf is a fraud. He has done absolutely nothing to change APD. All he has done is hire more people to do his work and re-write everything already in place so that his name is on it. But yet he made over $94,000 last year. The DOJ says training is bad, the citizens know training is bad, officers know training is a joke, and now the media and people all over the country knows APDs training is bad, but yet Wolf still makes enough to hire 2 field officers. 94,000 to sit around and bad mouth the administration and sleep with one of his employees. Remember the last director slept with the same officer and made $20,000 less. I guess Berry thought that task was worth a huge raise and promotion.

Its way past time that somebody should do something!

I for one hope the articles keep coming. Although the 5th floor doesn't give a crap about the opinions of ordinary citizens, it's the only way to ensure that Berry's political future will end with the disaster he has created. Once he's gone then maybe we can clear out everyone who wears stars and replace them with someone who knows what they are doing. Again, you can't fix problems that you created especially when you still don't think you did anything wrong. There are more problems in APD than those found by the DOJ and those issues will continue to snowball while Eden, huntsman and the rest of these losers act like they are fixing things. If only the chiefs had to use cameras like anyone else, then everyone could see their disrespectful and childish behavior

But hey he welcomed the balloonists in MEXico!!!!

Look at this douchebag...he'd say that it was a might loss program after being handed his ass.

You can't look through the ABQ Transparency website. It's a brick wall of lies.

This is fucking hilarious....

This woodhead, smallfruit, bozo the clown looking liar mayor can only cry about being picked on. Smallfruit has funded the biggest bunch if liars and criminals in the state. Maybe if Berry could refute and cite single instances where these articles lie like he, Schultz and the city attorney's office does, he wouldn't look like such an idiot. Yet he continues to brag about things he would have been forced to do. If people could see what this idiot does behind the scenes, they would be laughing their asses off. He does the usual APD bullshit, cry that life isn't fair, when he pulls the same shit. It is ironic how the mayor's office and chief's office has manipulated the media for years and now that the pendulum swings back the other way they want to have a tantrum. The media had interviewed Schultz and others who were found to be untruthful and outright lied to them. This is why the articles went the way they did. This has all been capped because it has been kept in house in this state fir years by buying into the media and in some cases owning them. Now you have national attention on these scum bags and the TRUTH is getting out. Notice how Berry is not calling anyone a liar. Berry, Perry, Schultz and the city attorney's office can all be called liars, and those accusations can be proven and stood up.

Kuddos to the Albuquerque City Council. When the entire country agrees that APDs leadership is a joke and corrupt, you vote to give them bonuses to keep them in their positions. And then you wonder why no businesses want to relocate here. If you can't even fix 6 police employees in 1 building, why would a large business leader think you can run a city. Unbelievable

Anonymous said...

I agree with Wolf being a fraud but you can't forget the actually officers on that pay list either. Drobik and others are making 3 times the pay as other officers, and for what? So that he can stand behind the chief at press conferences. APD is undermanned and the city is millions of dollars in debt, but they pay Drobik what 3 field officer would make just to speak to the media. Wow. But hey like the Mayor said, we need to pay our chiefs bonuses because they have the knowledge and skills to lead this department. Are magazines and paper writers from other states the only people that can see how corrupt this place is?

Training is a problem in APD because you have a "director" that has never been in law enforcement and a staff that each hasn't taken a call for service in 10-20 years. But I guess as long as we force officers through mass CIT training everything will get better. Doesn't matter that half do nothing but complain about being there. They just need the numbers to comply with the DOJ and fool the media. Has anyone else noticed that APD has been at 935 officers for the last 2 years even though they say they've had 160 officers retire and only had 2 academy classes.

Tixier said of the weekend. “Clearly, Albuquerque is not known for being a nonviolent city."

Oh Tanner my dear little light bulb, your boss says the city is just great and safe with low crime rate and one of the lowest homicide rates in the country. You just broke ranks moron. And imagine that, by telling the truth.....

Anonymous said...

This city is terrible with numbers. The homicide rate, number of Officers in APD, who get's raises/bonuses as opposed to who doesn't. Can you all see the writing on the wall? Berry doesn't care about the middle class citizens. Until those homicides creep into 4 hills and affect any rich whites, let the middleclass and minorities kill each other. Let Officers retire or quit. Who cares?? The so called leaders of this State have shown that they could give a shit about anything.

So the retention bonus will stay for the command staff. What a joke that means we have to put up with them for another 10 months. Will the bonus checks only be given out for one year or will they continue as long as the EXPERIENCED officers remain on APD???

Anonymous said...

Can someone explain why Drobik is at all press conferences (off his patrol duties),occurring during the daytime hours when we actually are paying TWO daytime PIO's in the way of Tanner Tixier and now civilian Santa Fe transplant Celina Espinoza? How are we justifying this????? Are we not really short on the streets as we keep hearing? When I see this guy everywhere I know the shortage in numbers is BS! If we can afford to have Drobik as a full time PIO and two other PIO's I know its all lies that we are short on manpower.

Anonymous said...

OK so the paper today 2/3/15 says all the commanders, majors, and DC's get to keep their retention bonus.

Someone PLEASE explain how an APOA negotiated MOU is able to benefit these NON APOA employees??????

This tells me its no use being in the APOA anymore because if they negotiate something meant for members everyone benefits anyways.

Stephanie and Shawn we now know, you secretly met with COA Perry & Chief Eden and did a "special super secret" MOU which would cover those high ranking Officers not in the APOA anymore.

Listen up folks if there's ever been a reason to pull your dues going to pay these two idiot sneaks salaries I've just explained it.

I'm out!

Loved the story by Nancy Laflin with Berry. Does he know that she's "head" and shoulders above the rest????

Mayor Berry should run for President! I mean even he could do a better job than the clown we have now. Berry only screws things up locally-Obummer's moving the whole world toward world war 3. This local stuff is nothing-just a bunch of leftists who want a federally controlled police state that they can use to stifle liberty. It's the same playbook the national socialists used in Germany in the 1930's. History is repeating itself once again-passivity breeds aggression. Now let the name calling begin-lets see 'right wing nut job." I like that one best.

Woe be unto us all! We are damned to exist in all this chaos - but, wait! All is not lost if someone can remember the sacred chants to call up "THE PIERCING TRUTH"! If he/she/it will answer our call for help and fly up from the 1950's Super Powers comic book where he hibernates, he can super-charge his wittle pee-pee and flush all these miscreants down the river at least past Isleta.

Ummmm.....

The city is aware of both camp sites, but said there’s nothing in the city's laws that prevents people from camping in a public place. But officials can try to remove people under what’s called a nuisance abatement order.

“We are not going to pull them out, and drag them out and move them along. But we will go through the court process. We will file an eviction notice,” Deputy Chief Administrative Officer Gilbert Montano said.

So what the fuck was this Boyd business all about????

Anonymous said...

Both the New Yorker and the Rolling Stone stated in their articles that they attempted to interview Berry and Eden etc and were ignored. Schultz did interview with the New Yorker.

Berry cries Oh BOO HOO! It's hard when the national media does what Berry and the local media will not. Tell the truth and hold accountable those who created this mess. Welcome to the adult world Berry, better ask your wife if you can have your big boy pants.

Another PIO! Tasia's back this time as Sullivan. Pretty soon all of APD will be PIO'S. They can't respond to crimes , not enough detectives on homiced unit but did you notice all the different vested cops at "tent city"? I wonder how many were on OT for this show of cooperation between the city and ? More PIO'S no tent city, what a wonderful world .

APOA is now raising funds for criminals? And their gonna raise our dues to pay for defense of Sandy? I got no beef with Perez, but Keith Sandy can go fuck himself. And so can Shawn and Steph.

Anonymous said...

I live 1500 miles away from NM and I can smell the stench from here.

Anonymous said...

Why do you only show up when someone asked a legitimate question? We all know you are trying to distract from the real questions.

Why did APOA negotiate to write an MOU that benefited command staff more than members?

Why do we have multiple PIOs at press conferences when we need them to answer calls?

Anonymous said...

The problem starts with the recruiting. There's not one person on APD that didn't see problems with Keith Sandy after he was hired. Every time his name came up around a State Cop they would just shake their heads in disbelief. Problem is, if they disqualified everyone who had issues then APD would only have 500 officers. We see numerous officers on the streets today that are ticking time bombs, and they were just hired. So they believe it's better to just throw a Hail Mary and hope it doesn't bite them in the ass until they are all gone. And recruiting won't change because it improperly ran and has always been a position held by the most worthless officers. You have to bring back the pride of wearing the badge and that won't happen until a new administration is formed.

APD has to be the most assinine police department in the world. Two officers take out a killer who was armed with a gun and knives, whom Boyd was a boyscout next to, and they do it literally in a few seconds without filling him full of holes and killing him and the department and APOA tries to kill them, but they extort a DA and have fund raisers to support these two. WTF is going on, and how do you rationalize this insanity. This place is out if control.

Anonymous said...

I too, live far from Albuquerque, in the midwest actually but follow this blog and the news there because the criminal element running that city really trued to put the screws to a friend of mine there. It is really pathetic when people like Schultz can ruin a city and take kickbacks, unarmed people and their own officers get shot and they act as fast as they did to put a law through to protect rodents in a zoo while people continue to have their rights pissed on. There is a reason why New Mexico was used as a nuclear test site. They should have kept it that way.

Anonymous said...

Next time a real crime goes down APD dispatch should just call out all PIO's and prospective PIO's, ta da problem solved . More cops on the scene, crime solved!!

4:15 nailed it......what they said is spot on.

DID ANYONE GO TO THE APD APPRECIATION BANQUET. I WAS THOUROUGHLY DISSAPOINTED TO SEE THE SHOW THE TOP COMMANDER PUT ON ABOUT THEMSELVES. THIS SHOWS THE LACK OF LEADERSHIP OF THIS CURRENT ADMINISTRATION. THE BANQUET WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT THE OFFICERS WHO RISK THIER LIVES AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE NOT A PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR TOP BRASS.

PRETTY PATHETIC DAY IN APD HISTORY

Not a cosmetic cop said...

How is it that Super Drobik is always the officer arresting every high profile prisoner. If super Drobik is not doing the perp walk he is surely close by fir the photo op. Either this clown is the only officer APD has on the street or he is APD's go to guy for the money shot. Either way, it is pathetic.

I don't think Schultz gave comment to NYer, those were statements I had heard before.

Why is everybody picking on me ? Really , a few weeks ago you were crying about no cops staying, no money(please help PERA) and tent city must go. Now u want Burqe's version of Rockefeller Center. Really! People go to Rockefeller center cause ,one they live there or two go after work because there are actual things to do al around the rink. Who is going to downtown? Bar patrons the only places open are BARS .Perfect environment for children . Berry get off the crack pipe, Berry get out of the scotch bottle and Gilbert you can stay on the Similac. What a bunch of fools

Anonymous said...

KOB has a story about Tent City shutting down. There's a homeless woman saying "Before, many of us would walk and just go to the mall on 4th street... but you don't walk here anymore because you're concerned about your safety".

Jesus Christ. The homeless are saying downtown is too dangerous to walk around in the daytime. Way to go Berry, Perry, and Eden. Even the street smart homeless think your downtown is a POS and dangerous. Tell me again why I should bring my kids ice skating where even the homeless say is too dangerous!

Anonymous said...

Something serious must have happened to somebody here. This blog has gone from "Fireworks" to the "Dead Zone". Anybody need food, water, bandages? Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Anonymous said...

An ice skating rink? Are they serious? I think I will just wait for the next water main to break and head out for a nice day of skating on the huge rink it will make. Plus it would be much safer than going downtown. Downtown is dangerous and it smells like piss everywhere. The homeless are out of control down there too.

Schultz is now Ass't COP in Memorial Villages, Texas, a cluster of three little towns buried by the Houston monster. Wow, I guess Texas is desperate for cops to hire a moron like Schultz. Wait until cops there get thrown under the bus!

Lets see how long it takes before Memorial Villages has poorly working lapel and tasers units on their property cards...

Haha. Turkey neck's wife kicked him to Texas, and took half. He then gambled the other half away because he is addicted. Haha. Now he has to keep working. His next gig will be P2C. Haha. He looks like a sick chicken. Haha. He now works for the Vaughn PD of texas where shitbags hang out. Haha. Why does Ray always pose like the Mona Lisa for all of his official photographs? Is he trying to hide that waddle hanging down from his neck or trying to look less like Levy. Haha.
