The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Robert "THUG LIFE" Perry Gets ANOTHER RAISE: It Pays to Be a Thug!

We all have heard about the great deal former Secretary Of State Duran got on her criminal charges, after all she is a somebody.

Enter Rob Perry the City C.A.O. You nobody's may remember in 2013 Mayor Berry gave Perry a $33,000.00 raise.  Here is some news for all of you nobody's struggling to make ends meet. Our EYES  tell us that Perry just got another $ 8000.00 DOLLAR raise bringing his yearly salary to $188,198.4 dollars a year or $90.48 dollars an hour.

We at THE EYE are disgusted by this.  Police, who the Mayor cries how much he cares about are still working without contract and have been for years.  Police bonuses have been stolen by their administration.  City employees are making around ten to fifteen dollars an hour!

We don't have the stats for Fire or the private sector but we would love to hear from you. Have you had almost a 25% raise over the last five years?  Don't forget  Perry's huge salary is in addition to all the perks that go with the job. Does Perry have a take home car? Does Perry have a City Credit Card?  This is the proof that Berry and his team could care less about the employees that make the city run or the economy of the city and its people that struggle to make ends meet.

Now let’s turn our attention to Councilwoman  Diane Gibson. As reported by KRQE ch13 Gibson wants The State Legislature  to pass legislation to allow local communities to make their own gun laws.  Gibson wants a ban on certain guns that she feels we nobody's should not have.  As we have reported on THE EYE the Police cannot protect us nobody's, all  they can do is pick up the pieces. The Police want to protect you but the sad fact of living in Albuquerque, is they cannot. So Diane after you take our guns, our means of protection for our family, what  are you going to do after the next tragedy ?

Diane are you going to stand in front of the media and use that age old line, my thoughts and prays go to the family of nobody.  We at THE EYE are sick and tired of this political line. Diane why don't stand up and say this should of never happened in  the first place, and we politicians are at fault!

According to the www.cabq.gov Employee WagesTransparency Report... Mayor only makes $49 hr?? Tax dollars hard at work on Perry $90.48??? Hmmm

The CAO gets more money for what exactly? I'll tell you.

Money that was allocated by city council to go to the families of firefighters equaled about a 3.5%. The firefighters knowing that 3.5% was allocated for them decided to accept an insulting 1st offer of 1.25% (at the request of the union negotiating team). So now guess what happens to the rest? It will go to funding the same upper management model as APD by creating a brand new rank that pays over $110.000 annualy and endorsed by the union president. He negotiated it! Chief Downey will undoubtedly get a massive raise probably upwards of $20,000. All funded by money that was supposed to go to ALL FIREFIGHTERS!

So as long as dumb decisions like those listed above are approved by botched and bogus union votes by hundreds of dues paying members and without question then the more the CAO deserves to get raises. He is obviously smarter than all of the them!

Fire fighters accepting only 1.25% of a 3.5% allocated raise?
Ignorant Hose Draggers!

Wake up or else tomorrow you will lose promotions and positions.
To late you gave that away to!

EYE...I totally agree the Perry is a piece of shit that shouldn't keep getting raises. Especially when the city "doesn't have the money" to fulfill its employees contracts. But if you are going to call out ridiculous salaries then be fair about it and add a few more to the list. How about your part time PIO Drobik who pulled in a whopping 120,000 plus last year just to come in a stand behind the chief at press conferences. Can't a on duty supervisor do that. That's over $60 per hour or almost the salary of 3 new officers. There's several other officers that are near to the pay of the chief too. If and officer is tripling his/her pay then they are tripling there work. Something has to suffer, which is the citizens waiting for officers to respond. Let's call everyone out who is cheating the system .

Here is something to think about. While departments across the country are posting links and memorials to officer Webster on their Facebook pages to offer their condolences to the Albuquerque officers and their families, the Memorial Villages Police Department Facebook page has nothing. What is disgusting here is that this is the Police department that two former New Mexico scum bags now head. The former chief of Hobbs and the one responsible for making the mess APD is now; Raymond D. Schultz. Former Police Chief Ray Schultz has nothing to say about this? You are damn right, because he wants absolutely no attention brought to him there and he definitely does not want the good unassuming citizens of Memorial Villages Houston looking for themselves and seeing what Ray is all about.

Look for yourself.

Schultz and Banks will not make any in person comment about the death of Officer Webster because in doing so they will be asked about their past doings while here in ABQ. Disgraceful.......

Wow!! Officer Webster was just laid to rest and the Mayor has a news conference on building a bowling alley?? have some respect Mayor Berry!!! take care of the Officers you still have left, why has it taken you 5 years to approach the legislature about changing the laws in this state??? stop telling us what you're gonna do and start telling us what you did!!! RIP Webster!!!!

These millennial, new breed, hugs and cuddles, cutie pies don't have the huevos to question any of this, let along blue flu out. They are so terrified of the administration, because always wanting to be a cop comes before being a man in the Albuquerque police department. The other commenter is right. Every one of them knows that this administration is walking all over them, but they do not care, because they can say they are a cop, impress everyone, play CSI Miami, look cool and fuck eachother's wives, when the fact of the matter is that you can not be a cop today, because they all retired, quit, got fired for doing their job, or just do not want to get used by the likes of a poser like Eden to keep the heat off of a bunch of hypocrites.

Every officer who has had family or friends screwed over by this administration needs to look at themselves in the mirror and realize what gutless punks they are for standing by quietly or worse, kissing the foul asses of these malfeasants.

BERRY WANTS TO BRING AN EVENT ARENA INTO THE CONVENTION CENTER. THIS IS ANOTHER PLOY TO PROVIDE BUSINESS CONTRACTS TO HIS FAMILY OWNED BUSINESSES SO THAT HE CAN GIVE HIS RELATIVE MILLIONS IN SECURITY CONTRACTS AS HE PUSHES OUT THE CITY RUN ABQ SECURITY. BERRY HAS BEEN TRYING TO BREAK UP THE CITY SECURITY AND HIS RELATIVE'S SECURITY COMPANY HAS BEEN GIVEN LUCRATIVE CITY CONTRACTS TO HANDKE THE DEFICIENCY BERRY HAS INTENTIONALLY CAUSED. START INTERVIEWING ABQ SECURITY OFFICERS ABOUT WHAT IS GOING ON HERE. BERRY HAS SEEN HIS POSITION AS NOTHING BUT AN OPPORTUNITY TO PROFIT FROM AND EXPLOIT FIR FINANCIAL GAIN THROUGH IMPROPER AND ILLEGAL INFLUENCE.

I also found it telling that the weekend after Officer Webster is buried, that the Mayor is beating the drum of his downtown revitalization. Like nothing ever happened. No constructive follow up to what brought us to this place. NOthing to see here, move on.

I'm posting as anonymous because I have one very strong contention. For every bad cop that APD shelters and promotes, there are 10 "good cops" saying nothing. Citizens can't tell a good from a bad cop on first glance. They see a badge and a gun, and remember the headlines. As a result, all cops are lumped into the "don't trust" category. Just like a cop can't make the assumption that an encounter will go a certain way, citizens can no longer make the assumption that cops won't abuse their authority.

So, to you good cops that fight the good fight every day, I feel sorry for you and the frustration you must be under. But this isn't going to get any better by you staying silent. In fact, it will get much worse as both the public and your command chain turn on you. Seek out those of like mind and start telling your story as loudly as you can. Anonymously if you have to, but do it.

The Santa Fe New Mexican and a National Journal reporter say multiple sources tell them the FBI is investigating Jay McCleskey.

Oh snap, please God, take them down. All of them.

These comments above is exactly how 'ordinary' citizens feel about things going on within our local Gov't here in Abq. We see corruption at it's worst and you call to file a complaint and noone first of all is in their offices to even answer a phone much less talk with a citizen about their concerns. The same people who make the laws are quietly breaking the laws quietly. If someone complains it either falls on deaf ears, or retaliation is your pay back. It's a sad day when scumbags like Perry and Berry almost throw it in your face about the money this POS Perry makes. He has to have something on alot of higher ups to be making that kind of money. Yes, please grow a pair you polce officers and finally do something about your situation.

It's comical that co0ps are calling for a sickout to try and extort more money from the people. You clowns will never understand why you get no respect. btw, I wish you would ALL call in sick, for eternity so crime rates can finally get back to reasonable levels.

You thugs make me sick.

Real men walk away from bad situations. They don't cry like little babies and make it worse for everyone. Man up you punks!!!

Your "brotherhood", "blue flu", "thin blue line" BS, and car wash fundraisers for your fallen have traits of street gangs. I can't distinguish the good guys from the bad guys in this town anymore.

Oh, look. Former deputy chief Allen Banks, now the Round Rock Texas Police department chief is taking the same que as Raymond D. Schultz by hiding like a coward. Take a peek at his department's facebook page, and observe how he stays as far from the limelight as he possibly can. This guy is the police chief, and he is in barely any department photos. Notice, absolutely no tribute to Officer Webster. This guy is just another greedy coward, only caring about the dollar he is making for doing nothing. He and Schultz are terrified about their towns knowing the truth about what scum bags they really are. Banks knows that someone might google him, and listen to the audio tapes of him lying at hearings. Maybe they will talk to former commander Cafferkey about the lie Cafferkey caught him in and how Schultz covered for Banks saying he's my deputy, this is going nowhere.

Take a look for yourselves:

Joe Monahan smashed it today.

Thanks Joe. Great article.

In the end they are going to find out that someone they thought was irrelevant whom they tried to steamroll over did this to all of them.

There will be justice. ONE WAY OR THE OTHER.

What a crock of shit Eden is.

http://www.kob.com/article/stories/S3957522.shtml?cat=500#.VkEUYHo8KrU

Eden and the chief before him, Ray Schultz destroyed this department, causing this out of control attrition rate. Officers are leaving and retiring because the command staff fabricates discipline against officers to keep the attention off of their corruption, while they cover for creeps. Because of this, it is very shorthanded. Because it is shorthanded at APD, the case loads pile up. Eden points blame at the supreme court, because officers can't meet deadlines. Officers can't meet deadlines, because they are overloaded. Why? Because there are no officers. Why are there no officers? Reread the beginning of this paragraph. The blame lies with the Albuquerque police department administration, and the past administration that fled the DOJ investigation leaving the place in shambles, in order to save their pensions. Who has been leading this administration? Mayor Richard Berry. Stand up mayor, try to be a man and accept responsibility. The game is over.

11/9/15 2:57pm you hit the nail on the head. The real leaders of APD (which have all retired) actually had a spine, took corrective action when needed and made IA a last resort. The current Command Staff are quick to throw officers under the bus anytime their man panties get ruffled. Taking care of your friends and drinking buddies, and screwing everyone else. Good for you ABQ.

All I read here is just so much bitching. Ladies and gentlemen of the APD, if you truly want change look at what just happened at the University of Missouri where a minority of 7% of the student body effectively removed both the university President and Chancellor. Hey, cops, grow something in your scrots (figuratively speaking), and take action. You know what needs to be done, it is getting close to cold and flu season. Stop TALKING, stop BITCHING, and DO something! But wait, that action would take COURAGE! Look at what happened to officer Webster, not even enough cops on the street to provide adequate back up, stop the madness, STAND UP!

Since we are talking about social media. Take a look at one of the new videos put up on the Albuquerque Police Department Facebook.
You want to talk about hypocrisy? The video was made by Legacy Church. Here is a Church that is smack right in the middle of the political game in Albuquerque, and one of the reasons Berry was elected. What is more putrid is one of the officers in that video is a known sexual predator. He was up for termination and revocation of his police certification for having sex in the back of his patrol car. There was a pattern of this behavior with this officer, but he has the audacity to talk about being an officer. This officer had both feet out the door until favors were called in. I am now convinced that this place is pure trash, and it is never going to change.

You are being laughed at because you are acting pathetic. Officers do their jobs all over the world without sitting with their wives crying on television. You think you are helping with this bullshit, but you are not. The criminals see, this and they are laughing, calling you pussies. This kind of propaganda crap is going to make it a lot harder for the street cop out there when the hardened criminal thinks they are all a sniveling weeping pile of hurt feelings. I am sorry, but this world is evil and no place for a crybaby. Deal with how people feel, and do your job. We all know the problem lies with the administration.

2:19,

The Christian machine is alive and well. They are trying to take over Government and brainwashing so many in APD, SO, and much more. Just look at the old sheriff debacle. He used Legacy grounds for a lot of functions which should be illegal. Trying to get Deputies and their families to funnel their money in the church. Cult city boys and girls.

Anonymous said...

It should be renamed to Legacy Brothel and Crime Organization. It's disgusting how many affairs, wife-swapping, and sexcapades occur among the congregation. Add in the political corruption and you have a cult, not a church. Nice racket going on there. Give your money to the "church" so it can be funneled to Alb politicians and if you give enough, you'll be included in the sacred club of adultery. Legacy and Alb Journal are one and the same.
