The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Locking It Down

The 5th floor held a meeting yesterday that was so vague in content that it left many of the attendees scratching their heads asking what the heck was that meeting was about. The main message of the meeting was keep your mouths shut and don't talk to the media - the about what part was left intentionally vague while the consequences were made crystal clear... termination.

As you know, our Eyes (from different parts of the department) tell us that Marty was allegedly involved in a hit and run Sunday, March 9th. We now know the exact time - 5:29 pm (read about it here).

As we told you, the reports from the field investigators were gathered up by Commander Romero on his day off and yesterday's 5th floor meeting makes it all too clear that APD's official policy is to bury this one. If APD is actively covering for the mayor we've all got a serious problem.

Most of the time, it's not the original offense that gets you into trouble - it's the cover-up. If the mayor was involved in a hit and run accident he's guilty of a misdemeanor and liable for damages (which we get to pay for). If anyone at APD buries the incident by tampering with public records, then they're committing a felony. One might even consider conspiracy charges.

Committing a felony to cover-up a misdemeanor is arrogant and stupid particularly when there was a witness to the incident who doesn't have anything to gain by keeping their mouth shut. One of these times an officer or a citizen is going to stand-up and do the right thing. When that happens, the mainstream media folks will have to run the story and the administration's house of cards will come tumbling down.

Those granted power by the electorate have a higher responsibility to adhere to the laws and policies of the government they lead. That means staying at the scene of an accident even if there are no injuries or damages. That means facing the consequences of the mistakes you make (like hitting parked cars). That means not using your power to subvert the very laws that you've sworn to uphold.

Integrity is what you do when no one is looking. In this case it appears that someone was looking and now we just need that someone to step forward.

This ABQ and Police administration and staff are dirty, and they wonder why crime is soooo bad in ABQ. It's because city officials are too busy covering up their own crimes!

I hear the sound of crickets.

I only throw this out there as food for thought, not because I have any inside knowledge on this particular accident.
I am aware of at least one other accusation involving the Mayor and unreported accidents that were covered up. I was not involved in this investigation but I am convinced that the officers who have told me that they were involved in the case are telling the truth. In this one the Mayor was intoxicated and also fled the scene. If you are saying to yourself that you have not heard about this one, then it would seem this was covered up too. I am not throwing this out there for the fact of the matter but to lay the foundation for what I am about to suggest.
There are a few main reasons in my experience why people run from accidents. Revoked / Suspended Driver's License, No Insurance, driving a stolen vehicle, a warrant for their arrest or they are intoxicated when it happened. I think we can eliminate the first four possibilities but my story that I led with suggests that there is a possibility the last one maybe something we should consider.
The Mayor was not going to be disciplined for the accident and was not going to have to pay for it out of his own pocket. Why run? You tell me!!!!

Anyone hear the latest stats regarding the least safest states in the US.

NM is #3 following Louisiana. Considering most of NM's population is in ABQ, I would think the city has a bit to do with it.

Funny thing DPS's spokesman Peter Olsen made a statement, such as, the Teen Miss America contestant did. Except she was only 16 years old.

IE: the numbers, such as, the war in Iraq, such as, so many people in South Africa can't read maps, such as, I think that these numbers are, such as, not like right, you know.

its all just rumors and lies!

Wow !!
Second comment hit it square on the head.
How many people are thinking the same thing.
Bob Stover would never put up with these bullshit women covering up their dirty panties all the time.
Yes, crime would possibly go down if it were CRIME that those 'broads' on the fifth floor focussed on

While collecting petition signatures on Griego, it's been amazing how many in the public want to see one done regarding Mighty Mouse! One crook at a time, as they say . . .

Albuq, just had two more fatal shootings in the last few days after this report came out!

Gee, can't the police stop this violence. How many more victims will this city see. Stop covering for the mayor and work on public safety, please!

To the public: ENOUGH ALREADY!
He and those covering this latest altercation need to be exposed.

to quote the 'Pace' salsa commercial, " Get a Rope'

THIS WHOLE STORY SEEMS MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING - SO HE SCRAPED A BUMPER, A REPORT GOT TAKEN, SO WHAT?

I agree, so what. If these panty waists put 1/2 as much effort into their jobs as they do spreading gossip & rumors we would have a crime free city....But that would be too much to ask from these badge pussies.....

So What, the mayor is dirty and tries to cover up everything! He also lies about everything, ie, stats on his pet projects.

That's why!

The end is near. Some need to start getting out their resumes.
(That is if they're not going to jail.)

"just a scrape on a bumper"? What if it was your car that you worked hard to get and you come out of a long day at work to find a "scrape" on your bumper and the moron that did it just left the scene without leaving a note. Damage to property is damage. Whether it is a scrape or a dent, the offender needs to accept responsibility.

Don't forget, if the Journal really wants the report for that specific case number, and APD doesn't give it to them, they can go to District Court, file paper work on a violation of the open records act, not even APD is immune to that. APD hides reports involving Officers all the time. If anyone, including the EYE, go through the open records act

Hey, didnt you hear Chief Schultz say that it was a case of mistaken identity. Mayor was never there. What? You don't believe him?

Police Officers work for the citizens of the cities they work for. They are not self employed and self serving. If your not happy with the pay or the schedule your offered then quit! I dare you! Go find a job that will pay you more and treat you better. haha not gonna happen. no one will leave, and everyone will continue to bitch for no damn reason. WAAAAAA WAAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAAAAA

The 5th floor is trying to find the officers who exposed their covering up of a crime. They want to discipline an officer(s) for exposing the Chief's lies. hahahahahahahaha This place is nuts, as are the chiefs.

So much for integrity or honesty on APD! What an example to set for the troops.

Remember boys, your troops actions and morale will be a reflection of top mgt! Watch what you do, as it will come back to bite you in the future.
