The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Unprincipled Elitist Mayor Berry to blow $35,000 of Tax Payer dollars

The title says it all.  Albuquerque’s unprincipled elitist mayor Berry is set to blow $35,000 of tax payer money on an executive search firm to locate a new police chief for APD. Why you ask; it’s called incompetence.  The “big plan” coming from Berry and his ring-master, Jay McCluskey is orders to mop up the mess Berry’s inept leadership has caused in hopes of opening the narrowing doorway to get Berry re-elected.

Albuquerque has been run-a-ground by Berry.  We wonder if Berry is related to the captain of the Titanic.  Berry keeps making incompetent decisions and this has gone on for the last four years which has led to Albuquerque’s demise.  On second thought, Berry cannot be related to the captain of the Titanic; the captain of the Titanic had enough dignity to go down with his ship.  We know Berry will jump ship when it gets rough and blame everyone else except himself for all the problems.
This is similar to owning a house and renting it out.  You entrust the occupants to reasonably care for the home.  Instead they have drunken parties, knock holes in the walls, burn cigarette holes in the carpet, plug all the sinks and plug all the toilets, leave trash in the publics’ view and all the neighbors have called and complained and the authorities are after you (unless you’re an SOB- Support of Berry).  You contact the renter about all the problems and the complaints.  In response, not to lose their deposit and get evicted, the renter put some specking on the walls to make it look good and takes the trash around to the back yard.
We just introduced you to Berry; In Berry’s case he is doing a few photo-ops and bouncing Schultz and a few others.  In other words, after four years of failed leadership, 3,900 lost jobs in one year and over 54 million dollars in liability in one year, Berry is ushering Schultz and some of the other boys out the door to make it look pretty.  Berry will blow 35k on a national search and then proudly proclaim, “I have fixed all the problems and hired a new chief.”  By forcing Schultz and some of the others out, Berry is hopeful it will appease the Albuquerque voter.   This is too little; too late.  The voters of Albuquerque are not fools; they know and have seen exactly what “game” Berry is playing.  We here at the Eye thought McCluskey was more intelligent than that but maybe not.

Berry is an elitist vain individual.  We have people HERE; in ALBUQUERQUE, who would do a great job for APD and the citizen.  Do we have a “national search” when we have a lousy mayor to replace?  NO; we have local people who live here and know what Albuquerque needs who can do the job.

Perhaps Berry should take out an ad in the Albuquerque Journal for $35.00 for a new police chief and use the $35,000.00 to stop his privatizing of Albuquerque.
Every vote counts; we hope we can count on you to vote Berry OUT!

This was in today's paper as a letter to the editors. You SHD repost it as its own story:

Modify honor code to match the ‘truth’

THE APD honor code states, “I will not lie, cheat, or steal nor will I tolerate anyone who does.” If I am reading the changes in the APD “truth policy” correctly this code must be modified.

Two changes should be considered. I will not lie could be changed to “I will not lie except maybe the three times for which I may be suspended but allowed to make false statements on a police report, overtime slip or certain other documents completed by APD employees; associate regularly with people under active criminal investigation unless it is in the performance of their police duties or because personal relationships make it unavoidable; (and) knowingly enter a house of prostitution or house of illegal gambling, unless it is to perform law enforcement tasks under supervision and direction.

The section that states “nor will I tolerate anyone who does” needs to be modified to nor will I tolerate anyone who exceeds lies more than allowable in the “truth policy.”

Mistakes are made unintentionally without wishing to or intending to do something and all of us make them. They should be evaluated in light of the severity of the mistake and addressed accordingly. False statements, associating regularly with people under active criminal investigation, and entering houses of prostitution or illegal gambling parlors seem to far exceed the standard of a mistake.

This multilevel sanction policy certainly introduces elements of confusion that will likely result in greater difficulty than already exists to rid APD of any officers who should not be employed. Deputy Chief Allen Banks, spokesman for APD to the Journal on this policy, does not know of anything specific or who identified the need for the SOP to be revised. If he doesn’t know, he should and who then does know? Perhaps only a chief who has already announced his retirement would sign this policy especially during the conduct of a Department of Justice investigation of his department for a pattern of civil rights violations.

The competent men and women officers, who simply follow the honor code and don’t lie, cheat or steal or tolerate anyone who does, deserve far better leadership than evidenced by this ill-conceived, convoluted and misnamed “truth policy.”

I was out the other day, and ran into a couple that I know. I haven't seen them for a while and we began to speak. The topic of APD came up along with the Mayor's election. They stated that they absolutely despise APD. I stated that there are a lot of good officers working for APD but they are quagmired in an organization led by criminal and liars along with a few of the family members and friends of such.

After hearing my explanation of the problems within APD, they agreed whole heartedly that THAT is the problem. They said for the most part, it's the chief and the way things are run that are disgusting. I agreed and stated that the sentiments they expressed is what the majority feels. The most promising thing that came out of the conversation was that they saw the true problems and said Paul Heh is the answer. They and their famiy and friends will be voting for Heh in the fall.

Based on 160 working hours a month, the Berry Admin is 'blowing' $9,000.00/hour in just interest on the Ellis case.

If an officer is given one day off for lying or fired what is the difference when he/she appears in court. Neither judge or jury would believe him/her.

The full payout to Ken and his family will be upwards of 15 million with the interest tacked on by these liars and their game playing bullshit. Then there's the next wave of lawsuits coming..... Heads down motherfuckers!

Then what do we do with those who don't take the truth seriously in any matters or are so filthy they lie to try to make it look like those telling the truth are lying? This is how filthy these rotten pieces of shit are.

If you want to get behind a reserve officer who is fighting back against negative publicity that Wil-Ham wrote about, get behind Dave Young. He is suing the Journal and winning
