The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. MAYOR BY PROXY

Exactly what started this....

How old are you Pete? Really?! This is exactly what we are talking about. You started firing shots over the bow months ago, and it has been obvious. We just let it go. You said nothing, as we outted Lewis, and stated why Colon should not be mayor, but the minute we share a post, you put up about Pedrotty, you lose your shit over it. How much more obvious does it need to be Pete? For years we have called this administration out over their culture of playing victim, after being scrutinized, and called out. What do you do? You cry that you were threatened! Please detail the threat here? You, along with everyone else were told about personal agenda in this. We did not start our blog after deciding not to run for mayor of Albuquerque. No… we started this blog way back in 2006. You were around back then right? We know you were, because the photos below are the crew that worked directly under you.

As we have said before, this is our house, and our rules. If this page said Pete Dinelli Facebook, or Pete’s Eye on the Eye on Albuquerque, it would be Pete Dinelli’s house rules, but it is not. You came into our back yard, so don’t cry when you get bit.

Now getting back to our reasoning for things… you just proved it. Thank you for that. You were part of this shit, in its adolescent stages. Please say you called for Schultz to be fired. Please say you called for his prosecution, because you did not. No, you and a whole lot of others stood by while a frat boy mentality took over APD, turning it into what eventually destroyed it. It was allowed to fester. Your memory may be selective, and short, but ours is not.

Your childish counter accusation again shows where your mind is. We could care less about a spot anywhere. We want an administration that has the pure goal of doing what is right. We want a chief who does not lie to the media, under oath, or to the public. We want a mayor who has a set of balls to stand shit up like a man and explain to people what happened if something goes sideways without using everyone and everything around him as an excuse. We want to be able to support our administration, and say good things about them as frequently as we have to trash this corrupted one. We want the opposite of the shit that is going on right now. We want the children of this city to be able to ride in a car with their parents without getting shot in the face, or crashed into and killed. How’s that for what we want? Is that ok with you Pete, or is it not… because it is not all about Pete Dinelli.

Is it too much to ask for our officers to be happy to go to work, because they know the administration will have their back, and be fair should they screw up. You dullards have been told time and time again that it is not about the money, or the incentives, but you continue to be politicians, while you bribe and entice your way into office with false statements of why officers are fleeing here like it is on fire. You have no clue what the problem is because you say what you think people want to hear. If it is ALL about money or incentives then the wrong candidates are being selected… PERIOD. It’s about honor, dignity and fairness.

As for your snide comment on us checking with anyone for approval about what we say, you know where to go with that. We will speak our mind, and we are beholden to nobody. We have been doing this for years, in case you have not noticed. You are the one who has had handlers. You are the guy who has been beholden to those who would have you do something against your grain. We have not been, and never will be. The Eye and Tim Keller may disagree with nothing, or we may disagree with many things, but we do know that Keller is the type of person who would listen like a man as would we, unlike the way you do things, from your conduct here, and this administration has been doing for years. You see Pete, the fix here is far from what you are used to. It involves compromise, a resolve, and manhood beyond what has been going on for years. The lashing, out and vindictive retaliatory butt hurt baby antics are over.

We chose to back Keller, because he has experience in what needs to be done. He has been around, and has the life, and professional experience to stand up the plans he has. He also has a young family that lives in Albuquerque. We are not playing games to split votes like some of the underhanded scum bags out there. We are not putting out lies, and horse shitting our readers with false promises. We are not leading anyone down a path blind. We are not setting up anyone for failure. We are the truth.

This city has been submerged in a culture of institutional public corruption, stemming from way back when you worked for the city. It has led to the criminal enterprise we have here today. You, nor James Ginger, nor Brandenberg, nor anyone in the DOJ has called them out as one before we did. We have. We have, for years, and neither you, nor anyone else has called for anything to be done about it until you wanted something, so please mister hand out, please tell us what we gain by what we do? Please do! We do this because we are sick and fucking tired, and we represent those who feel the same. You feel you need to bash those people by calling them conspiracy theorists, with active imaginations. Please back that one up. Did we imagine Victoria Martens being murdered, and the lies? No, we have been calling them liars a decade before this. Have we imagined the Tazer scam with Ray Schultz? No, we nailed that too. Maybe you should ask the media how many of them read us. Let us tell you. All of them.

No standup individual with doing the right thing on his mind has anything to fret from us. It is the self servers, and clouded minds, the unjust, and criminals, the perverts, scum bags, dishonorable, the liars, the cheats and frauds, and the cowards and greedy bastards who have destroyed this place, and continue to do so. We just say don’t be one of them. If you think that is a threat, your man card needs to be revoked, and you need to go get some thicker bark on your tree, because it is going to take some balls and grit to clean this place, and feel good dog shit will take things nowhere. People understand that action needs to be taken, they just do not want to be lied to, and they want to know their administration, instead of being treated like mushrooms, fed shit and kept in the dark.

Please ask your candidate about the below photos. Ask him is he remembers them, because he was probably just taking the training wheels off of his twelve inch bike at the time. We are sorry Pete, nothing against him. He is a nice guy, with good intentions, but he will be walked on by these hardened public corruption engineers, who have been at it for decades. Maybe after a few years of learning about law, public corruption, the evil that permeates the place, the treachery around every corner, and how to deal with it all, but not now. Not now, when most responsible for this shit have been at it before he was born. This is not the place for coloring books and science experiments. It is time to knuckle down, and deal with the problems bluntly with the gloves off and the trust of the public without politics, agendas.

One more thing. Keller choosing to run for mayor is not abandoning his position. If he feels he can make a bigger impact as the mayor, it is noble. Would you fault someone for taking a job then promoting to better a situation? We think not, because it would be sour grapes, and you sound like sour grapes. This will not be a mayor by proxy, because people just want more than they already have, when so many have nothing. We hope we have made ourselves abundantly clear.

No hard feelings Pete, it's just the way it is. And please keep our readers out of it. They have done nothing to anyone.

Remember this jackassery? The safe city strike force? We do, and we remember who they directly reported to.

Moral of the story...
Don't throw stones.

"SUBSTANDARD" Policing; Thanks Ray-Ray (1.7 Million Tax dollars lost)

During the Vietnam War, after missions where VietCong or NVA regular troops were killed, American soldiers occasionally left calling cards—death cards as they became known—to remind the enemy who they were fighting against. The Ace of Spades was this card and as such it is identified as the card of winter and thus known as the “death card.” To the Vietnamese, the icon of the spade held significant meaning and was itself a bad omen. Lately, this card represents a bad omen to the taxpayers of Albuquerque.

On July 6, 2009, the Eye broke a story about detectives of APD’s Criminal Nuisance Abatement Unit leaving the so-called death card at properties where they removed occupants and condemned the building as uninhabitable. Talk also focused on detectives taking pictures of themselves while boastfully standing over recently arrested or evicted persons while brandishing their rifles like Mexican narco-terrorists. The unit sought to inspire fear and intimidation as part of their, let’s be honest, largely administrative activities. Since then, the failures of this unit continued unabated and this past week CAO Rob Perry announced a settlement with the lawyer representing the plaintiffs in a class action lawsuit for almost $2 Million. Our Eyes tell us this lawsuit was filed in 2009 shortly after the revelations broke about the misconduct of the detectives in the CNAU. Mr. Perry and Mayor Berry were quick to state that this was a problem they inherited from the previous administration. We think that’s a weak statement given that the Berry administration endorsed the continued operations of the Safe City Strike Force since Berry’s election almost 2 ½ years ago. We also think it’s a ridiculous statement since these activities started and continued under the direction of APD Chief Ray Schultz—who apparently is still the chief of police.

Which leads us to questions we raised back in 2009: What were these detectives thinking? Either they indeed view their actions analogous with armed combat with an enemy in a war zone OR they are mocking the very activity they are engaged in. Either way, such conduct is an insult to every real officer who puts on a badge and gun and seriously takes their oath to serve and protect. Is it not enough to remove somebody from their dwelling that you have to “spike the football” by leaving a card that reinforces intimidation and fear. Our Eyes tell us not only did they leave cards as in the above pictures, but they posted them on walls with knives as well.

Chief Schultz will of course continue to publically assert his ignorance and that he knew nothing about it. But anybody who works with or knows Schultz concedes he is a consummate control-freak and to suggest he doesn’t know what’s going on in his department is not dealing with reality. How many previous chief’s had an MDT on their desktop? How many previous chiefs routinely use the Internal Affairs and Criminal Intelligence units to do specific tasks directed by the 5th floor? We are told the activities by these detectives, and worse, are among the reasons why the city settled this case. With the US Department of Justice evaluating whether or not there’s a pattern and practice of civil rights abuses by APD, the Mayor is doing everything he can to avoid such an investigation. As such it seems the Mayor (or CAO Rob Perry since we are told he’s the one that actually runs the city) will put his political interests before the interests of the taxpayers. This shouldn’t surprise us.

In Covey’s “Speed of Trust,” heavy emphasis is placed on Practicing Accountability. Great leaders build trust by first holding themselves accountable for bad results. They don’t blame others. This noble principle is something that, sadly, is without precedent in the leadership of APD or the City of Albuquerque. Chief Schultz and Mayor Berry are more interested in spiking the football to thwart any objective and independent review of the APD. They have spiked this football by unjustly terminating officers (all of whom seem to be winning their jobs back as of late), ignoring critical calls, disregarding misconduct by deputy chiefs, and dangerous events in particular and creating a general climate of distrust, fear, and intimidation in general. Do we see or hear any statements accepting personal accountability by Chief Schultz?

P.S. Our Eyes also tell us Mayor Berry is out of town in New York trying to bolster the city’s bond ratings which have continued to fall from AAA and Wall Street has given the city a “Negative Outlook.” How’s that for spiking the football?

P.P.S. We are also still trying to figure out why the APOA would attack the four city counselors who have been staunch advocates of the officers and their battles against the administration and why the APOA leadership would DEFEND APD’s leadership when they have failed the officers time and time again……

We are surprised Schultz didn't order the detectives to leave his calling card of a swastika; same difference right...
