The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. HUMBLE CROW PIE; AN ADMINISTRATION ONLY CONCERNED WITH THE OPTICS. LYING TO THE TROOPS... CRYING LIKE A BABY, BECAUSE YOU GOT CAUGHT. THE IMPOTENT, WATER CARRYING POLICE CHIEF, CRYING OVER OFFICERS STANDING UP FOR THEMSELVES.

Before reading this post, listen to this disgraceful recording of the APD police chief crying, passing the blame and pointing the finger. Now, you tell us if the right choice was made to keep this baby.

We are going to say one thing about Harold Medina. He is the biggest crybaby to ever wear a badge. He is a disgrace to police work, leadership, fairness, honor, and manhood in general. In a recorded APD meeting, from this Wednesday, an 9AM, he cries about the so-called political heat he fantasizes he takes. He asks everyone how much heat they have taken, or what they have been through. We here think that is a lot of balls. Has he died, or had a father die in the line of duty? No he hasn’t, but the Sergeant he decided to retaliate on has. Aaron Hoisington’s father did die in the line of duty. Medina is a disgrace. The audio that is making it’s way public is a glimpse into the warped, perverted mindset of the upper command driving this city into the toilet. It is the epitome of non-leadership. We have news for you baby... you wanted the job.

The whole Albuquerque Police Department EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM resigned Monday, due to their Sergeant Aaron Hoisington being administratively reassigned by the chief, because he refused to take an illegal order, to arrest an open carry individual, who was at the protest last week, downtown. As a matter of fact, a punk ass Carpetbagger from out of town, Deputy Chief inside man admin boy Smathers took his badge and gun. We bet this creep couldn’t name any APD officers who were killed in the line of duty. It’s desk riding, second guessers, and chumps like this, that have ruined law enforcement nationally.

Listen carefully to this tape. Fraud police chief Medina blames an open carry protestor for child abuse “if” a crowd of opposing protestors were to attack him. This is America, since when is the “hypothetical” victim of a “possible” assault A CRIMINAL. He is when the police chief, mayor, and CAO, are concerned with optics and want to stay on the good side of anti police marxists. This is the time we are living in people. Vote all of these turds out of office come November. The stupidity in Medina’s comments is proven when he confirms that he is not saying an open carry protestor is doing anything wrong. Then why the order to arrest? And why the retaliation when the order was not followed? This proves worms within police departments and politicians do these things to people because of the court of public opinion. They do things like this to make it look as if they are on the side of protestors, to pacify them. They are cowards who don’t do the right thing because it is too difficult. They do the wrong thing because it is easy, and it serves them.

And SMATHERS, YOU INBRED, HILLBILLY,.... SHUT UP, YOU ARE A WATER CARRYING, SLIME BAG. You deserve to be in “receivership”. You have been nothing but a ball washing reciever since you got here, you ass kissing, carpet bagger. You all deserve to be receivers, bent over, for the citizens, DOJ, and railroaded employees you’ve screwed, to all shove everything right back up your asses. SMATHERS fits in well with these retaliating punks, who see fit to second guess officers on the streets. He is part of the same crap that goes on here, that went on in his previous agency.

Monday night, Hoisington was dusted off, and put back, because they knew this was not going to go well. They knew they did him wrong. Now Medina wants him to not feel bad about it?

Have you ever heard someone in such a leadership position play such a pathetic victim in your life? This is pathetic. Anyone who talks like this, is nothing more than a diaper wearing sissy, who did not deserve the inside track, over two more qualified candidates, during the national chief selection process, which, by the way, was a total sham.

Medina states during this crying session that he is not a quitter, but he is nothing but a liar. He forgets how fast he quit when the DOJ came. He forgets how fast he quit, and ran away when Schultz, his boy ran away. He is not only a quitter, but a runner who runs away, scared from the DOJ. He quit, then he ran.

Medina says APD was compared to Baltimore, but he believes that is wrong. He is right. APD is worse.

All employees who spoke up about targets on their backs, and the hemorrhaging of officers leaving the department need to be commended for telling it like it is. Officers are doing nothing out on the streets. They are arbitrarily downgrading calls on the streets, from multiple felonies, to a misdemeanor, if the complainant is lucky, and IF they even show up. Felonies are happening right in front of officers, and they are looking the other way, or driving in the other direction, to keep from getting involved. You think we are kidding? Call for audits of video from all of these calls where they are faded or no report was written. They know exactly what they are doing. 4 hour response time means no complainant. No complainant means, no case.

When the mayor claims all other crimes are going down, but homicides, it’s because they can’t control the variables in reporting homicides, like they can all of the other crimes, when they just refuse to take a report, take action, or make an arrest, like they are doing on a daily basis. Do not believe us? Just do an audit of calls for service! where people are being shot at! or suffering vehicle and home burglaries, and it is “faded” as they call it.

When so-called leaders talk like Medina and Smathers do, about woe is them, how nobody knows what is going on behind the scenes, it is because they really think nobody knows the “truth” about what they are really doing behind the scenes. We do, as do many others, and none of it is any good. This is why APD is being abandoned, and officers are leaving in droves. The self serving culture of retaliation, lies and perverted behavior has everyone fed up.

Let’s see how many of those who spoke up get targets on their backs.

Look what a legal expert had to say....

Here goes another lawsuit. Thank Medina for this payout. And to the officers who had the guts to speak out, good for you!

Keller; the great, woke, white, virtue signaler... Here is the new police leadership, again before the news and Keller getting to announce.

We will be dusting off the cobwebs people. It has been a nice long break, but frankly, the woke assholes ruining this city with their posturing, pandering, and lies are out of control. It’s about time it all gets packaged up and shoved up a few asses.

We just saw this: KELLER’S BULLSHIT

Before Keller gets to feed you his pandering bullshit and lies, here is what is going to happen.

Medina will be named the police chief today.

Retired BCSO Sylvester Stanley will be named Public Safety Director.

Keller thinks he is smooth, but he is nothing other than another white politician, who uses people of color to advance his own agenda. The entire police chief search was a sham, and they waited, because they did what they did the last time. They already knew they were keeping Harold Porkchop Medina.

This is what happened while they were stalling.....

Keller offered the first runner up Nichols, from Las Vegas a deputy police chief position weeks ago. Nichols, realizing the unprofessional bait and switch, declined their bullshit, and walked. Sullivan was snubbed, and ignored in a way that will surely show every future police chief applicant, from across the nation, that the Albuquerque city administration and  politicians are the most self serving, disrespectful, unprofessional pieces of shit occupying office. Nobody of quality will ever apply here for this type of position, ever again. We will make sure of it. The creeps running this city will send your career on one of two directions. They will waste your time, or they will bring you in, and when you show them you have integrity, stand up for what is right, and fail to do what Serita Nair, and white boy Tim Keller want you to do to make them look woke, Marxist, and great, they will ruin your career. ALBUQUERQUE WILL BE KNOWN AS THE CAREER AND LIFE RUINER. Many officers will be leaving the department now for sure. Who the hell wants to work for hypocrites, who protect criminal buddies while they railroad officers who did nothing wrong for political points?

Everything they just did today is for Keller’s campaign. None of it was for you the citizen, who is suffering through the worst crime wave ever.

4 chopped up bodies were found in the ABQ SUNPORT last week. The city is on a very bad threshold.

Look at the resumes, and YOU tell us Medina was the best choice. If you believe that, you need a brain transplant.

The politicians are ruining this city.

Keller will be in for a rude awakening this campaign. The cases that they are concealing right now are what the public needs to know about in order to be brought to reality that Keller is not about what is right, but what the optics are. He is a fraud.

The public will be finding out shortly about the officer who adopts babies, and makes world news, like he is mother Theresa the social worker, but likes to slam female stolen auto suspects heads onto car hoods, handcuff them, then let them fall on their faces.

The public will also be finding out about another thief who the soon to be announced police chief is covering for. All you have to do is look at this new police chief’s application, in the references section to see why he is covering for this thief.

https://www.krqe.com/news/albuquerque-metro/city-announces-3-finalists-for-apd-police-chief/

We have been on hiatus, but it does not mean we are not as disgusted as everyone else at the lowlife, self servers ruining the place with their cowardly, self serving agendas.

Albuquerque... where city councilors can beat their girlfriends, drive drunk, then comment about who should be the next police chief. Where attorneys who have been filed against for malpractice can be second in charge and where stupid ass city attorneys ruin their ability to litigate anything concerning misconduct when they say shit like “The city has endured the trauma, the lack of trust, the horrible results and impact of 20 years of unlawful use of force in our community” in federal court to make it look like they care about reform when it is only their own bullshit virtue signaling, because it all only began this year when it became popular to pat yourself on the back as some sort of woke ass shithead. Good luck defending any cases from now on after that comment moron. All stewardship out the window for person agendas. This is now the world we are in because of the selfish and self serving.

These liars even manipulate crime stats to make it look like their choice is the man for the job. The fact is every citizen knows APD does not show up for hours, so nobody is calling 911, or reporting crimes anymore. That’s a fact.

Stay tuned. More to come. A lot more.

POOR LEADERS SURROUNDING THEMSELVES WITH POOR LEADERS, OR SHOULD WE SAY MORONS? THE ABSOLUTE DESTRUCTION OF ALBUQUERQUE

Like we have always been saying, since day one; any time someone calls out the filthy here, THEIR HEAD is next on the chopping block. They prove us right time and time again. You know why? It is because the same group of shit bags are behind the scenes pulling the same strings and they were all trained by the previous bags of shit.

When we heard that an Asian female cadet in the police academy was hazed, and harassed out of the Albuquerque Police Academy, while being called “CADET COVID,” and taunted over her accent this year, we wished we could have said this was unusual, but it is not. It is the norm. Keller’s administration asked the media for a favor not to cover the story, and the media executives granted this. Can you believe this in the days and times we are in that they did not cover such an egregious issue? That’s the media for you.

Former employees who spoke out about the mismanagement of the APD rape kits now have a lawsuit against the city. Their reward? Harassment for exposing the truth, because it makes mayor Tim Keller look bad. Keller and his CAO are trying to bury all of this.

We told Geier this was coming. We told him he was in a snake pit, and that the turds he was in close proximity to would be rubbing off their shittiness onto him. We said that while swimming in shit, it is unavoidable that you will either be eating some shit, or end up covered in it. Well now Geier is going to see that his fellow rat shit cowards are planning to stick it up his ass, in order to make it all look like it was his fault that the city and the Albuquerque Police Department are crashing and burning. You are all about to see another career destroyed by the same kind of scum bags of the Mayor Berry era.

Recently, Keller gave Geier a little phone call to invite him for coffee at his favorite liberal hangout... Starbucks. This “Et Tu Brute” preemptive initiative should serve to prove true, and illustrate what utter bags of conspiring, contriving dog shit Keller, his CAO Nair, and COO Rael are. This is because by the end of this month, Geier will be replaced by Harold “Pork Chop” Medina as the new Police Chief. These turds will call it “interim,” but we know how these slimy two faces like to play the word game. This meeting was just that. They want to fire Geier, and transition Fat Boy into the Police Chief position, then they want to say it is because all of the games these clowns, liars and frauds above him (Geier) pulled are his fault. Sorry but one man doesn’t ruin a city, unless it’s Raymond D. Schultz that we are talking about, and right now, we are not.

The actions above are being done to cover for what is coming down the pike by sneaks and liars. You see, Keller and gang are facing a slew of lawsuits pertaining to corruption that was exposed, and Keller’s administration tried to hide all of it. When the courageous lamplighters and whistleblowers pressed the issue, stepped into the light, and made sure it was exposed, those individuals were targeted for retaliation, and sabotaged.

The election is coming up, and Keller knows America is tired of self serving, liar politicians. He knows that the tide will be turning, and like most politicians who are frauds, and play the identity politics game, pander, and sell out for a political career, will be pushed out. He will screw anyone that gets in his way with that cheesy ass smile on his face. Tolerance for this from voters is now over in this country.

There is no honor among thieves.

It is amusing to see so many people who stood by over the years, thinking how lucky they were that they were not the next flavor of the month for these vermin politicians, now say “AND THEN THEY CAME FOR ME.”

In light of the lack of action taken against Simon Drobik for the timesheet fraud allegations, the Civilian Police Oversight Board recommended termination for, the chief of Staff John Ross embezzlement, theft, and harassment allegations, non compliance with the DOJ consent decree, the dozens of hostile work environment, harassment, EEOC, retaliation, and discrimination cases and the out of control crime and murder rates, Keller and company need one man to take the fall. What better way to kill two birds with one stone, than to make all of this look like one man’s fault, by blaming him for everything.

There are two major problems with this though. One is that we all know that Geier could do nothing, and make no decision without the green light by Serita Nair, the city attorney’s office, and Mayor Keller. That is a fact. Geier made none of the decisions that caused these lawsuits or put the city in this position but being a pussy is still no defense. Number two is the big one showing that this is the administration’s orchestrated illusion to make it look like they have nothing to do with the failed leadership and destruction of Albuquerque. That one is the placing of Harold Medina in the police chief’s position.

If anyone should be protesting this, it should be the Department of Justice front and center, because Harold Medina was the incident commander on the unjustified shooting scene of Kenneth Ellis in 2010. Fat Harold was also one of many command staff to flee like a bat out of hell, when the DOJ arrived. Harold has about none of the experience that Geier has. It is actually embarrassing if you try to compare Medina’s experience to that of ANY police chief, let alone that of Geier’s. Watching Harold try to publicly speak is an exercise is controlling your gag reflex and rage all at once, because it is such a disgrace that such a clown can be put in that position.

When the end of the month comes, and you get to see Medina promoted to police chief along with his boy Arturo “La Plane Napoleon Syndrome” Sanchez being promoted to Deputy Chief, you will be begging for Schultz and Banks to come back. You will also understand that competent law enforcement is OVER. If you haven’t already, that is.

Looking at the laundry list of shit Medina has had a hand in, from covering up for a swat officer who was bowling armed, (Medina was the swat commander) while drinking beer, then the Sargent who does the right thing that night, being retaliated against, then getting involved with a case his son, was the defendant in, concerning domestic violence, his reputation for stabbing fellow employees in the back, by taking credit for their work, having a reputation for carrying out vendettas against coworkers he dislikes, by attempting to destroy their careers, and tons of other disgraceful shit we have in our archives....

Let’s keep going!

In the late 90’s Medina shot and killed a teenage boy who had a BB gun, and who was in a mental crisis inside a church. Medina contacted the kid inside the church, and killed him. Gee, isn’t Keller putting together a civilian police agency to address just this? We hope Medina won’t be advising them.

Medina was the Lieutenant in the field over Sargent Arturo Sanchez, who was supervisor over Officer Justin Montgomery the day Justin Montgomery got into an unauthorized vehicle pursuit of another teenager, and shot that teenager to death as he stood over him, after first shooting him in the back. He then lied about seeing a gun in the civil lawsuit that followed. Justin Montgomery was Giglioed in court to be worthless in testifying for the rest of his career, so he is now a police union VPN. You never see the fuck.

Mayor Keller is about to put a person in place that is the epitome, and prime example of the culture police departments across the country are being attacked over. Actually Medina is someone who has exemplified this behavior. These may be no other person who has gone not only unrecognized for such behavior but is actually held on highest for such.

We can only say that this is the type of shit that BLM and Antifa come to cities over, and it is not only a disgrace, but a risk that Keller is taking with every citizen, and shop owners life with what he is pulling, who he is covering for, and who he is promoting. Shocking, but we are not surprised in the least.

It seems Medina has had a hand in everything that brought the DOJ here along with everything that also brought BLM Antifa And destruction across the USA, but Keller knows what he is doing. Lol. Not!

Next election everyone will be addressing Keller’s malfeasant choices.

We said it... the first time Geier had to stand up, like he did when the Keller administration fraudulently wrote that Facebook statement, sending sympathy to Jacob Blake in the Kenosha, Wisconsin shooting out on the airwaves, to back the post that Keller was catching flack for, he caused them huge humiliation, and here in Albuquerque that “systemically” leads to career suicide. Keller is a liar and hypocrite and so are those in his administration. They are self serving cowards. Keller had is people write that and got caught. They pulled it within the hour when Geier called them on it and tried to play dumb. Now look at where Geier is.

You know what the “systemic” problem is? The systemic problem is the betrayal of public trust by self serving creeps, cowards, liars, and pieces of morally corrupted shit in politics, and ranking positions where they can do as they want, while hiding behind titles and positions.

Yea, we’re still here maggots.

Vote all of them out.

AND THE MUPPET SAYS...

Below is a news story where Deputy Police Chief Harold “Zippy” Medina of the Albuquerque Police Department cries about how the Federal Department of Justice is strong arming the city of Albuquerque, because they won’t give them money. How about that? He cries about free money. Ha ha ha... how unbelievable these jokers are!

The city who doesn’t play by the rules cries about others they say aren’t playing fair....

Can it be any more obvious that this guy wants the Police Chief job so bad, that he would say anything to get it. This is what is disgusting in our city... fools who will sell their asses for politicians, to get power and a higher pension. This guy was hired past his pay grade for a reason. Those who think they are running things know dopes will chase the shiny objects for their entertainment, like good muppets. Watch the news story above, and if you can get past Medina’s pathetically annoying voice, listen to how he talks tough about the federal government, who is expected to pay for the fuck ups, he and his asshole cronies were responsible for before he retired, and fled. That’s right, he ran away when the DOJ came just like the rest of the malfeasant cruds, who came up through the ranks with him.

Listen how further on in the article the Chief Administrative Officer Sarita Nair who was sued as an attorney for malpractice, has the audacity to say the U.S. Attorney should have called the city (like he needed their tainted approval anyway) before giving his statement about the city’s position in this mess. Then the political politicians call foul and ironically say the Federal government’s stance is politically motivated! Can you say pot calling the kettle black?

People, do you know what a muppet is? It is a brainless character, who puts on a display of entertainment for it’s master. It does what it’s master wants it to do. And muppets can make money. Just ask Jim Henson’s estate.

Maybe the feds need to look into the pasts of all of these political, self serving, finger pointers. They need to look into Medina’s past, and everyone he screwed with over the years, because he didn’t like them, or they called him on his shit. They should interview everyone who’s work product this goofball took and represented as his own. Medina is nothing but a big fat Baby Huey bully who would piss his pants if he was called to Washington for running his mouth. They should look back on all the shit he and his wife pulled, and the drama they brought to the department years ago. They should look into how he swept the Johnny fucking Solis, bowling alley, beer drinking incident, while armed, and on call in SWAT under the rug, and how an employee who actually handled that incident with integrity got harassed, and retaliated against for it. Yes, the feds should open a case on Harold Medina since he wants to be such an indignant self righteous phony.

All of these muppets need to go next November just like the last batch.

They can’t always get what they want.

Hello,

This is an excellent and genuine comment, and we appreciate that. It is free of agenda, and lays it out pretty well. It brings up points that people want to discuss, considering the history of malfeasant politics in our city, and it shows the frustration at hand. This is what we like here. We appreciate the bluntness. It is way better than the slimy, agenda driven, passive aggressive shit attacks we get here, from those that disagree because their ego, political plans, or cushy assignment prospects were dashed to pieces on the shores of life’s many disappointments.

Nobody here is on anyone’s nuts. Rest assured of that. This was all about denial of access, and cover to those responsible for the state of affairs of our police department, and city. It was about taking away that access, and exposing corruption. As much as things may appear one way or another, considering the perception and vantage point. One thing is for sure... the dynamics will be changing, because promises were made to clean this up, and make things right. This is our objective too. The Eye is organic and operates as so. It is beholden to nobody.

The problem in our city is people who think they are more important and worth more than you, us, and everyone else around them. These absolute vermin have destroyed the city with this mentality and their criminal actions. Those who stood by, and watched are guilty, and those who “got theirs, and took off to avoid the heat, and accountability when the DOJ arrived are just as guilty too.

(NOTICE: STILL NOTHING FROM BALDERAS ON THE SCHULTZ TASER INVESTIGATION. WE BET HE WILL LET THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS RUN OUT ON THAT JUST LIKE THE BRACHLE CASE. MORE EXCUSES WHILE HE WEARS OUT THE LOW HANGING FRUIT)

The secondary problem, are the pests who want to hear themselves talk with their bloviated calling of the shots, and predictions as they say. They have predicted nothing, and they too are cowards, as they run their mouths from well insulated positions, or already have locked down high dollar pensions. You are also going to see the false cheerleaders, and blow jobs coming out of the woodwork too. We will be doing our best to preempt all of this or call it out for what it is, and outline the motive.

Going back to Berry’s election, we know for a fact that during his campaign he told many that if elected, he would toss Ray Schultz in the shitter. That is a fact, but something happened. That “something” is always the gutless, parasitic cretins who think they are power brokers, sitting behind the scenes cutting deals, or calling in favors for political support, or other issues that may be needed down the line to get what they want, or support their agenda. These are the people we are observing now. In New Mexico, this picture is large, but when it involves criminal activity it is racketeering. It is the reason why Brachle was not indicted for shooting a fellow officer. It is the reason why the Albuquerque Journal supported Dan Lewis and Brian Colon at the same time. It is the reason why they then changed their tune, and supported Tim Keller, when the other two were called out on certain issues, and it was evident Keller was going to take it. It is the reason why Ray Schultz has not been indicted. It is the reason why Nate Korn of Kaufman’s West Army Navy gave campaign donations to a candidate Lewis, when his wife is a political appointee of Republican Governor Martinez, and he himself supported Martinez and Berry, while being Ray Schultz’s main cheerleader, and dirt doer at the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy Board while he was there. It is the reason why Darren White, who is a shameless Susana Martinez water carrier gave a large sum of money to a Lewis in the mayoral election. It is the reason why there was a campaign of disparity in treatment of officers during the Scheme Schultz himself devised to keep the DOJ out of our city while painting people stains on the badge when these people are the biggest shit stains on humanity. It is the reason why criminal officers were covered for, and allowed to retire, while others had cases fabricated on them out of retaliation, animosity or to defraud the DOJ, for doing their jobs, or trying to raise a child. Albuquerque has been one big fucking racket for way too long, and sometimes fucking up co-conspirators best laid plans is the path to reconstruction. The police department suffered from all of it, and now you and your family are suffering from the fallout of officers who shut down, to avoid being victimized by a malfeasant, malevolent, self serving administration, out to cover up their corruption on the backs of any target of opportunity; hence our out of control crime rate, that correlated directly to illegal and unethical actions taken out on the police department out of desperation by former Police Employee Ray Schultz. (We will not call that bag of puss a Chief any longer.)

The people that you do not know about, who lurk about like cowards, torpedoing lives, and destroying the very thread of everyday life in our city, for their own advancement, do so out of greed, power, and sex. This is the problem. One of them knew all too well how serious this was when he got on an airplane, and left the city the day after his criminal administration was toppled, and he had no more cover. That fat red faced drunken bitch is now in Indiana. Indiana! How funny is that? How the fuck do you end up in Indiana from Albuquerque? You pack your bags and run like the bitch that you are in the middle of the night to follow your wife who is the only one left employable in the family. That is how.

You will hear the same people bring up the Eye and Berry from Berry’s first election win. They were the same people that contributed thousands to him, BUT they were the same hypocritical spineless cowards who remained silent for eight years as we tore this administration a new ass weekly, with every bit of intel we could muster, without giving up our sources. They were the same people who “got theirs” then got the fuck out, and left the mess for everyone beneath them. How many people would still be here if certain bits of information had not been released. Three evolutions of upper command staff turnover happened under Berry.

Everything is here in the archives. We were lied to, and we dealt with it with viciousness, and ferocity that you do not see in many other cities coming from a blog. This blog was started under the Marty regime. We all know what went down during those days. Berry knew it, and although you may think he got away with something, that pathetic clown will probably run away too. Just compare his photos from eight years ago to one taken today. He looks like a bag of ass, and all of his hair fell out. Bad things people do have a way of catching up with them. The stress, and lack of a reputation will take a toll on that boy forever. We do not envy him.

So, knowing that the stakes are very high here, there is not much room to be dishonorable, or revoke campaign promises. With that said, we do know how hard things are going to be, and it’s only been a week.

Things are going to be difficult, because one of the groups we discussed above will come into play. There is major assburn over Garcia being kept on as deputy chief, and the bringing back of retired APD commander Harold Medina. As a side note... Medina couldn’t even raised his right hand for his swearing in ceremony properly. What cop, let alone someone who was promoted to the level of commander does not know that you place your left hand on the Bible, while raising your right hand to be sworn in? Harold Medina does not... That’s who! How embarrassing is that?

The look on Keller’s face as Medina raises the wrong hand and ignores the Bible is priceless?

Things are also going to be hard, because there is not many. The pool of good leadership material is thin. You will see where the rubber meets the road, and who is in it to win it in time, because word is that a few are angry they weren’t promoted. We will see who sticks around to fix things, and who takes their ball and goes home. Honestly, we don’t want to see spoiled self centered brats kept on. A handful of dedicated loyal individuals can do the jobs of dozens if they know they are backed, and there is mutual trust between the officers, the citizens, and the command staff. As we see it, it is the command staff’s obligation and responsibility to regain the trust of both the officers and citizens. If you want to call yourself a police executive, you better understand what comes with that. Schultz, Eden, Huntsman, and the rest of the previous filth had no concept of that.
Although there are things we disagree with going on, we will deal with it, but we will not throw grenades at it, without a baseline to go on, because there are good officers depending on things to change drastically for them in a good way. If that does not happen... If officers get shit on we will address it. The same goes for all city employees and our citizens.

The fact of the matter is that Keller’s apologizing for complete assholes, who shot people with ashtrays, lotion bottles, cell phones, spoons, or who were just plain unarmed, for crimes ranging from nothing, to petty misdemeanors is called owning it. The fact that people were shot when they did not have to be, or as they were being talked down, and about to comply, like Boyd and Ellis and having to listen to jackasses on police audio recordings exclaim “ oh fuck fuck was that me?” when their gun goes off, then observe a whole entire city attorney’s office, and police department justify a negligent discharge of a firearm after a fathers kid is killed... THAT is the problem here. You can not deny that there were several unjustified shootings in our city that denies belief. How do you justify shooting someone standing on their own front porch from across the street, in the back, when they have a spoon in their hand, and the officer knows it is a spoon, then promoting them. How do you justify skipping over officers for promotion, just because you do not like them, when they have stellar records or better yet railroading them off the job to distract from upper command staff public corruption? How does a shoot get justified where an officer knows an object in the hand was a spoon, but the excuse was that the officer felt he may go inside, and get a gun? It does not work that way. That is not an imminent threat, but this was one of many unarmed shootings this officer had, and another one of the many ridiculous excuses that people are sick and tired of hearing. How does a mental patient get killed in his own back yard by the police when he is unarmed just because an officer bit off more that he could chew physically, and precipitated the situation? How does an officer shoot an unarmed suspect in the back, stand over him and shoot him again and lie about there being a gun in his hand and not get indicted for murder? There are use of force cases that need apologizing for, and actual prosecution of, and there are use of force cases that look like absolute shit, but are justified. People understand this, but the previous administration under Ray Schultz had blurred the line so badly that nobody, even the officers trust anyone, and that is no good. It is the reason why we are here. Some apologizing needs to be done on both sides, and the administration carries most of the weight on that. The competent officers know they didn’t fuck up. They know who the fuck ups are, and they don’t want to be around them either. If officers are cringing at some of these things, something is wrong.

You will never hear a good cop complain about the field, fighting criminals, dealing with drunks, ignorance, or anything related to police work out there in the trenches. The constant enemy of the good street cop is the self important, micro managing attention whore of a police executive who uses them for a stepping stool. That is going to stop. The failed leadership that betrays the rank and file out there every day, doing what they themselves can’t do, don’t want to do, or are too good to do will always be held accountable by us, because that is what destroyed our city.

The citizens have been duped by New Mexico politicians for decades. This has been done on the backs of employees, officers, other politicians, and the citizens themselves. As the song goes, you can’t always get what you want, and this is true here. Now THEY can’t always get what they want, because even though there are still unavoidable tentacles of influence throughout the place, there are also more Eyes. After all of this, and everything that happened, betraying the good for selfishness will never be lived down, if it is the result of intentional malfeasance. There will be stumbling and growing pains, but mark these words, there will be accountability. That is pretty much the climate we are in, and everyone knows this because of what happened, so mimicking a Berry regime is not likely.

Another reason we went this route was because the Mayor had a background in accountability based government. He conducted audits and knows what Berry and Schultz did and what they are. He was also none of the above when it came to the politically connected who are responsible for what happened here through their direct actions, or affiliations. We also decided this because he had a background in government an had the best plans for action.

You know what we do. We do not betray, nor do we stab backs. We react to deception. We only ask that the right thing is done. We ask that the wrongs be righted. Nobody is a peasant. Every wrong needs to be addressed. We ask that an honest attempt be made at all of this. This is all that can be expected. We are a week into this now. Let’s see what happens. All does not happen in a week. This will be a process. We will be watching, and so will our Eyes.

Feelings will get hurt. We can almost promise that, because we know who the posers are, plus you can’t appease everyone. We know who sat back, while the injustices were taking place. We know who reserved endorsement, until weeks before the runoff. We know those same frauds are standing in the crowd behind the Mayor, like they have been there all along, and we have their names, and facts to back it up. Those people are the ones who’s feet will be held to the fire when they decide to take the political, or low road approach to doing the right thing. We are also tired of union officials walking around like they are a boss, or bragging that they have the mayor’s ear. You know who you are. Get out your insulated booties mister “bro” because your shit is no longer going to be tolerated either. Joey boy learned it the hard way and you can too. If we smell any selfish agenda we will put it out there.

All in all, what we are saying is give it some time, but keep a close eye on everything. It is all we can do right now as things start to settle in, and get rolling. Taking care of Lou Golson, making the commanders give up the incentive pay, and filing an LEA90 against former Lt. Brachle’s certification were outstanding first moves. We will continue to keep eyes on the appointments, along with circumstances as they unfold. We want to see things made good, and safe for all of our citizens, officers and firemen.

We do not know how we will feel tomorrow, let alone 4 years but we will see, and so will those who choose the wrong choices.

No one person is Albuquerque’s savior. It is up to all of us.

Thank you for reading us, and we hope you and your families have a safe and happy holiday season!

ABSOLUTELY SWATLESS

As we all know by now APD's SWAT team was involved in a shooting Tuesday evening. Initial reports indicate that officers were dispatched to a used music equipment store in reference to a fraudulent transaction. Upon arriving on scene, field officers engaged in a foot chase as one of the suspects fled. We are told an officer saw one of the suspects holding what looked like a gun. Thereafter, a perimeter was set up and a SWAT activation ensued. As SWAT units searched the area for the outstanding suspects, we are told one was cornered where after a flash-bang was thrown at him in an effort to get the suspect to surrender. We are told then a SWAT officer fired his weapon at the suspect and killed the suspect.

But in recent weeks we know the SWAT unit has seen unprecedented turnover in its leadership. Last fall we reported how the unit's lieutenant, Tim Lopez, got into a physical fight with two of his officers. Only recently was he removed from the unit and reassigned. Then last week, one of the unit's two sergeants, Alex Catsis, was reassigned to patrol duties. Now we are told that the unit's commander, Harold Medina, resigned from the unit and went to take over the Southwest Area Command. This leaves Sergeant Jim Fox as the remaining supervisor of the unit.

Now the Eye has great respect for Sgt. Fox as not only has he led the unit well, but he has extensive experience in tactical operations as he was a SWAT officer himself. What we are concerned about is the amount of liability and exposure APD's Chief Ray Schultz is thrusting upon Sgt Fox. There's a reason why there are lieutenant and commander positions overseeing the unit. There is tremendous liability and financial expenditures involved with any SWAT activation. For a single Sgt. to be left with those tasks (and the mess that Medina and Lopez no doubt left) AND to handle the immediate responsibility of a SWAT activation is simply asking so much it is totally unreasonable. In fact, one would say it is evidence of Ray Schultz's deliberate indifference to non crucial staffing needs, but effective staffing policies.

But this shouldn't surprise us. Schultz has made such a pattern and practice of poor decisions and omissions that it is now a custom to expect failures at the hands of Ray Schultz.

In the meantime, if you have a history or tactical and management experience, APD's Metro Division has some openings:

Commander: VACANT
Lieutenant: VACANT
SWAT Sergeant #2: VACANT
SWAT Sergeant #1: Sgt. Jim Fox

Brave to Channel 13 New for reporting the truth on their site this morning.  Channel 13 News headline is; "Suspect killed during police standoff."  Channel 4 News was reporting, "Attempt to return stolen goods leads to police standoff."  Channel 7 News reported, "2 businesses lock down as SWAT team searches for man with a gun."

SWAT Lieutenant Lopez gets Swatted; SWAT Commander Medina Remains Lost

As we reported earlier this year and more recently (Read it Here), APD's SWAT unit's tactical lieutenant Tim Lopez has been a little "erratic" in his behavior since his promotion. It seems Lopez and his tactless inexperienced commander Harold Medina have been thrust in over their heads with the responsibilities of one of the most scrutinized divisions in all of APD. While Lopez can't keep his anger in check with subordinates or his fingers out of crime scenes, Medina just doesn't know what's going on and is lost.

Numerous Eyes tell us that Lopez will be suspended for at least 160 hours without pay. It is still unclear whether Medina will face any discipline for failing to act when two of his officers were physically assaulted and threatened with retaliation by Lopez. It is also unclear whether Lopez will return to "leading" the SWAT unit or if the two officers who APD treated as suspects will be returned to the unit where they were victimized by Lopez.

Many of our Eyes expressed shock that Lopez wasn't simply terminated if not demoted for his unlawful actions. Our Eyes tell us that investigators from an "outside" agency were looking at the incident and for that reason Schultz had no choice but to do something. We at the Eye wonder if that "outside" agency is the big one here in town from Washington......

We know that Lopez has milked his position while the tactical commander of the Metro Division as he's enjoyed his horse rides in the arroyo (Read it Here) and has been a featured speaker detailing his and Medina's "extensive" knowledge of tactical operations (Read it Here) and crime scene "management."

While the local media finally did report that "something" was going on in APD's SWAT unit last October (Read it Here) we wonder what, if any, follow up there will be.

Given Schultz's perpetuation of APD's no comment policy (Read it Here) we extend a huge thanks to our Eyes for forwarding us this information. We now wonder how APD will make things right for Officers McFarlane and Arias after such an extensive ordeal.

Does APD Have Mentally Ill Staff or Just By-Products of Schultz

Have you ever heard the saying, “The walls have Eyes.” This is true and our Eyes have been telling us about a loose cannon that is ready to blow at any minute.  This is another one of the people that are part of Schultz’s upper echelon. The actions of this individual warrants a full investigation and termination, if this case is proven to be true (or promotion to Deputy Chief since Schultz loves an incompetent staff).  Is this person just following the examples given by Schultz? Schultz knows about this person but just like the mother in Newtown, Connecticut, he refuses to acknowledge he has a person who may have mental issues and is sympathizing with him.  We all know how the last event played out…
This incident unfolded in the afternoon on Friday, July 20, 2012, at the Albuquerque Police Department’s SWAT office.  The primary people involved were two police officers and a police lieutenant.  There were other police officers present in the room where this incident occurred.
One of the APD officers (Officer MacFarlane) was in the SWAT Office cleaning his personal weapon.  APD Lieutenant Timothy Lopez walked into the room, unloaded his gun, threw the gun on the table where MacFarlane was at and ordered MacFarlane in an insolent manner; “Clean that weapon!”  Another officer by the name of Arias was next to MacFarlane. The inference was the order was for both officers to clean his gun according to our Eyes.  Lt. Lopez then walked out of the room.  The other SWAT officers who were present stated to MacFarlane and Arias, that it was unprofessional and inappropriate for this APD commanding officer to give such a bogus order. The SWAT officers also contended it is the responsibility of the owner of the gun to clean and maintain the weapon and to ensure that it is functioning properly.  The weapon was placed on a bookshelf.  When Lt. Lopez returned, he looked at his weapon and noticed that it was not cleaned.  Lt. Lopez stated to Officer MacFarlane, “I said to clean my gun.”  Lt. Lopez left the room again.  The SWAT officers who were present reiterated and maintained their position and insisted the two officers not to clean the gun.  The gun was placed back up on the bookshelf.  Lt. Lopez returns several moments later only to learn that his personal weapon has not been cleaned per his orders.
Lt. Lopez stated to the two officers, “I told you to clean that gun.  Both of you get your ‘asses’ in my office now!”  The two officers followed Lt. Lopez into Lopez’s office.  Lt. Lopez immediately started a battery of vulgarity and was yelling in an unreasonably loud and boisterous fashion.  It was obvious that Lopez wanted the other officers present in the other room to hear him.  The officers exited Lt. Lopez’s office and Sergeant Fox enters the office immediately.
Sergeant Fox and Lt. Lopez conversed about the inappropriate behavior and treatment of officers by Lt. Lopez.  Initially, Sergeant Fox thought it was all a joke by how outrageous and ridiculous Lopez’s was acting.
The entire tactical sections of APD have voiced their displeasure with the behavior of their "tactical commander."  Commander Harold Medina did hold mediation later on.  Medina stated to one of the officers during the mediation, "People make mistakes."  All parties were “strongly encouraged” to handle this matter in an informal fashion.  Commander Medina assured the officers that it will not happen again and all parties would be respectful.
NOTE: Commander Medina shot and killed a mentally ill juvenile in a church on the west side several years ago. His wife who does not meet Chief Ray Schultz standards is now part of APD.  Hypocrisy at its' finest!
Lt. Lopez takes MacFarlane and Arias into the garage bay and says he expects orders to be followed.  Out of a spirit of cooperation, the two officers do not push the issue or inform Lopez that cleaning a personal weapon is NOT a legal order.  Being a command level officer, Lopez should have known the order he gave was not legal and thereby the officers were not obligated to follow the invalid order.  Summer continues with good working relationships between all parties.
The next incident occurred on Thursday, September 6, 2012, at the APD SWAT Office. Present at the time were Lt. Lopez, Sergeant Catsis, Sergeant Gallegos, Officers Schmiel, Griffin, MacFarlane, and Arias.
Officer MacFarlane was cleaning his gun while Sergeant Catsis and Officer Arias were working on administrative paperwork.  Lt. Lopez observes Officer MacFarlane cleaning his gun and states, “We cleaning guns MacFarlane?” Lopez was sarcastic and had an antagonistic tone in his voice.  Officer MacFarlane replied, “I'm cleaning my gun, Sir."  Lt. Lopez continues badgering and states to Officer MacFarlane several additional times, “We cleaning guns MacFarlane? ‘I said are we cleaning guns, MacFarlane?’”  It was obvious Lt. Lopez was mocking Officer MacFarlane by mimicking Officer MacFarlane’s voice.  MacFarlane replied, “Yes, lieutenant I'll clean your gun.” Officer MacFarlane shakes his head and keeps his head down acknowledging Lt. Lopez’s bullying technique.
Although, there were other supervisors in the room, Sergeant Catsis stayed seated at his desk and did nothing, not even to attempt to stop or prevent a heated event.  Officer Arias attempted to defuse the situation and stated, "Ok guys, let's not do this again."  Lt. Lopez continues relentlessly with his verbal battery of bullying. Officer MacFarlane was using a cleaning tool box which had the lid open at MacFarlane’s eye level.  Lt. Lopez blows up and lost his temper.  Lopez slapped the tool box which launched it into MacFarlane's face.  The tools in the box flew and were scattered.  Lopez proceeded to yell at MacFarlane, “You fucking answer me when I'm talking to you!”  Officer MacFarlane stood up shocked and replied, "What the fuck?!"  Lopez then walked angrily and stopped less than three feet away from MacFarlane’s face.  Lopez yells at MacFarlane, “You want to stand up to me?!”  Based on the rage Lopez was displaying, our Eyes tell us Macfarlane was in fear of receiving an immediate battery. Lopez continued aggressively and bumped MacFarlane’s chest, causing him to fall backwards.  Officer Arias jumped up to stop the fight between MacFarlane and Lopez. Once again an APD supervisor (Sergeant Catsis) did nothing to stop or prevent the bullying or the battery that occurred.   Our Eyes tell us that Lopez had his right hand posed on his firearm.  We are told that Arias felt that Lopez was going to shoot MacFarlane.  Based on this fear, Arias placed Lopez into a restraint position, thus denying Lopez the opportunity to draw his firearm.  A short scuffle ensued.  The entire time Sergeant Catsis watched and did nothing.
Sergeant Gallegos, Officers Dave Griffin and Scott Schmiel ran into the room from the hallway and pulled Officer Arias away from the Lopez.  The officers then escorted Arias into the hallway.  As Officer Arias was being pulled away, Officer MacFarlane attempted to exit into the hallway but Lopez cut him off; again Lieutenant Lopez got into Officer MacFarlane’s face and angry words were exchanged and it appeared Lopez was battering MacFarlane.  Officer Arias attempted to break away from the Bomb officers to prevent MacFarlane from being battered but Arias was unable to.  Sergeant Catsis continued to do nothing and sat at his desk.  As Officer Arias was being taken down the stairs, all the officers could hear Lopez yell to Sergeant Catsis, “Write them up! They're both off of SWAT!”  Arias yelled, "Who does he think he is, an Air Force General!”  Officer Arias challenged Lopez to take his uniform off and meet him outside.  Arias also told Lopez, “Don't Hide behind your rank!”  Lopez refused, stating to Arias, "Fuck you."  Lopez retreated to his office as Sergeant Fox arrived.  Sergeant Catsis told Sergeant Fox the Lieutenant is really out of line and proceeded to the Lieutenant’s office to talk to him.   Later Sergeant Catsis asks Officer MacFarlane and Arias if “they wanted to talk to the Lieutenant just as ‘Tim'” in an apparent attempt to pacify Lopez’s behavior and keep the situation at the lowest level.  Both refused and ask for Commander Medina.  Lieutenant Lopez sabotaged MacFarlane and Arias by calling Commander Medina and placing a bias in Medina’s (his friends) mind by offering his tainted version of the story.
When Commander Medina arrived, Officer MacFarlane, Officer Arias and Sergeant Catsis entered the room.  Officer Arias was instructed to leave.  Arias asked why MacFarlane had to go in alone with the supervisors without a witness or a representative.  Commander Medina become childishly agitated and upset and stated to Arias he would not tolerate disrespect.   Later, Arias entered the office alone and apologized to Commander Medina for any misunderstanding that was not intended.  Commander Medina appeared to be angrier and in a defensive posture mentally.  Arias requested a union representative and Commander Medina took several moments to decide if he was going to allow it.  Medina sat back in his chair with a “pompous arrogant attitude” wondering if he was going to allow Arias a representative.  Medina finally states, “That’s a good question Steve (Arias); let me see if I will allow you a representative.”  Arias informed Medina he would not talk to him without representation.  Commander Medina stated, “You know Steve, I predict the Lieutenant will get hammered, Steve will get hammered, and Jeff will fall somewhere in between.”  It was interesting that Medina had already passed judgment, predicted discipline and assigned blame without ever hearing from key witnesses.  It is clear Commander Medina could not be objective and clearly had a personal agenda (friendship) with Lopez.  Union Representatives Sergeant Greg Weber and Officer Justin Montgomery arrived and discussed the incident.  Nothing further occurred on that day.
Officer MacFarlane and Arias returned to work on Friday.  The incident involving Lopez was the topic of discussion.  Sergeant Catsis, Officer MacFarlane, and Officer Arias were alone in the office.  Sergeant Catsis, who had sat back and did nothing, began to berate Officers MacFarlane and Arias stating, “The officers should have just cleaned the gun and stop behaving ‘righteously.’”  Sergeant Catsis used vulgarity several times in his tyrant.  This abuse continued for some time. Arias finally told Sergeant Catsis, “how as a military officer and an APD supervisor, could you think what the Lieutenant did to us was right?”  Catsis stopped talking and appeared to be somewhat resigned and defeated but agreed with Arias he had never before seen any supervisor anywhere behave that way.  Arias continued to explain his dismay with Catsis because he sat through the entire episode without as much as a word to protest the unjust.  Sergeant Catsis was told the officers no longer trusted him and they were weary about performing tactical work with him due to his lack of integrity and desire to muddle through no matter what injustice had been committed.  Catsis attempted to apologize for his gross negligence.
The following week on Tuesday, the officers were informed that Lieutenant Lopez was to stay away from the SWAT office and relocate to the horse stables; in addition he was no longer allowed to supervise SWAT until the matter was resolved.
On Wednesday (SWAT training day), Officer MacFarlane and Arias are told to report to the Commander's office at the Gerald Cline Memorial Substation.  The two officers are advised they were being administratively transferred to patrol starting following day.  The two officers were told they were prohibited from training with the SWAT team.  The following day, both officers received target letters from the APD’s Internal Affairs Unit.  The letters informed the two officers about the administrative transfers and the IA investigation. The charges listed against the two officers were insubordination, conduct unbecoming an officer and workplace violence (CABQ Administrative Instruction 301.5).
When one officer went to Lt. Mike Miller's office (Miller is in charge of Internal Affairs) to sign for their letter, Miller informed the officer of the letter and decision, “Is not from this office.”  Miller was alluding the decisions were being made by the 5th floor (Chief Schultz’s Office).  The officer humorously states to Miller, that he and the other officer are “a little sketchy” of APD management at this point.  Lt. Miller, apparently misunderstood the comment completely and stated, "Well, you better not be sketchy in here! ‘We will fuck you!’"  This officer was shocked and resigned by this statement and over reaction.  The misbehavior of APD’s management team proliferates throughout the Department, the officer is now afraid to speak in fear of retaliation or simply being misunderstood again.
About mid-September, Arias is accompanied by Officer (Ret.) Ron Olivas and APOA Attorney Fred Mower to APD’s Internal Affairs Unit.  Arias is read Garrity and compelled to give a statement to investigator Anastacio Zamora.  Arias had documented all the misconduct by APD supervisors which he stated was necessitated due to the gross misbehavior of APD supervisors.  Arias asked that Commander Medina not be a part of the administrative review since he was a pivotal party involved in the incident after-the-fact and since Medina had a personal friendship with Lopez.
Of interest, the APD SOP and administrative orders clearly states, the offending employee shall be removed.  In addition, the instruction says the “harassing employee” will be held fully accountable for their behavior and its result.  Of course in Good Ol’ Boy APD Style, APD laid the “hammer down” on the victims.  Keep in mind; this is exactly what Commander Medina had previously predicted.
During the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, our Eyes tell us Lieutenant Lopez had several adverse and negative interactions with SWAT officers as he attempted to assert his authority (remember Lopez was not to supervise SWAT officers).  A key to being a command level officer is; “respect is not just given, it must be earned.”  Officer Drew Bader went to IA to file a complaint and Officer Russ Carter and Anthony Sedler were possibly disciplined for insubordination against Lt. Lopez and Commander Dodo Comacho.
The week of December 4th, which was a Tuesday and the 90th day of the investigation, Officer Arias attempted to get a copy of his compelled statement from Internal Affairs.  Arias wanted to ensure accuracy.  Arias was told the investigation was not completed.  Several days later, Arias returned to IA in person and greeted several of the investigators.  Arias asked for a copy of his statement in person and Investigator Zamora informed Arias the investigation was not complete and that he still needed to proof-read it before sending it to Lt. Miller.  Once it is submitted, Lieutenant Miller would return it with suggestions and then a final draft would be completed.  Arias was also informed that Commander Medina would NOT be reviewing the investigation but instead a deputy chief.  This part came as good news to the officers.  Lieutenant (Ret.) Ray Torres called Lieutenant Miller on Arais’ behalf and discovered the investigation was still incomplete.  Time continued to pass without any word from IA.  Arias was told he could not have a copy of his compelled statement until findings were presented.  Arias was informed that Deputy Chief Steve Warfield (whom clearly has anger issues himself) was reviewing the matter and asked the Chief of Police for more time due to the length of the  report (140 pages).  One would think a deputy chief of police could read 140 pages in a day; maybe not.  Perhaps Schultz should give a reading test before promoting a new deputy chief in the future or instruct the IA investigators to convert the investigation to a comic picture book for Warfield to look at.
All of this information is rumor and conjectured, because neither IA nor anyone in Arias’ former chain of command have attempted to contact or correspond with this officer.  Based upon the behavior mentioned in this story, it can only be reasonably assumed the delay is intentional.  It appears the purpose of this “game” is to reduce the chances of litigation, the officers’ right to fight for fairness, to allow Lieutenant Lopez to retire without consequence, and to prevent the media and Department of Justice from uncovering APD's practice of protecting serious violations by management and placing the burden upon others.
This is obviously a detail enriched story.  However, as extreme as this may seem, it is intended to clearly show and demonstrate that the corruption in APD starts at the top.  We here at the Eye have been warning the public about this for some time.  This involved a gun; a deadly weapon and a command level supervisor who is either mentally ill or a gangster thug (a by-product of Schultz), who was intoxicated with the power of authority.  The behaviors of other supervisors, allowing this to happen, should be fired with Lopez.  Yes, we said fired.  Medina obviously has been promoted far beyond his abilities. He too should face harsh discipline including termination.  We know nothing will happen till Berry and Schultz are fired and a new mayor and chief come into office and scrub APD clean from the TOP to the BOTTOM.
Here is a disclosure; Arias’ stepfather is the Honorable City Councilmen, Ken Sanchez. Our Eyes have told us that Arias has not allowed or asked Mr. Sanchez to become involved despite the despicable actions of APD’s management team. Although, we here at the Eye are sure Mr. Sanchez must be displeased and disappointed by the leadership of APD.
Throughout this entire incident, the only APD supervisor to show any decency was Sergeant Jim Fox.  This sergeant has been the only shining example of what a man of integrity resembles.
It is truly sad police department personnel cannot be trusted to behave justly when its sole purpose and obligation to the citizens is to be trusted.
