The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Polygraph?!

We've been struggling with posting this ever since we heard it Wednesday. Some may claim that it's self-aggrandizing, but we have no reason to doubt our Eyes on this so... here goes. According to our Eyes, Chief Schultz is so upset with information leaving the 5th floor and finding its way into cyberspace and onto this blog, that he's decided to start polygraph testing to try and find out who's been "leaking."

It's unclear who the Chief has targeted with his polygraph, but if this is true and if the Chief does start administering these tests, the Eyes have it that there will be serious legal consequences. That means lawsuits folks.

Aren't there better things to do than chase leaks of information that should be public anyway? We thought that open government was a priority with Mayor Marty. Perhaps "open" means - open to the information that he wants us to know about, when he wants us to know about it. But is that really open at all?

Couldn't have said it better myself.
Open government? huh... this is about as open as the Soviet Union during Stalin's reign.
Gee, see any parallel here.
This administration's creed.. Screw the populace.
Rape and pilage as much as you can, while you can. Afterall, by being elected, they feel entitled, as if they are bestowed upon to do so and should be deemed acceptable by the voters. Once again, "if you're not corruptable, you're not electable". When will the voters and taxpayers of this city wake up and stand up to these so called elected and appointed politicians?
While on the subject of these appointees; how many of those directors do you think are qualified to hold their positions? City Council is also a good example of inept government. What a joke. One in particular could'nt hold a job at IHOP.

Today's Marty poll shows him at 48% 'Approve' and 50% 'Disapprove'
I guess the city workers aren't at their computers yet today. With out their vote (which by the way were mandated to do) he would be in the dumper.

Polygraphs are a scare tactic. They don't work, and are easily fooled. See AntiPolygraph.org for a thorough de-bunking of the lie detector.

It's too bad that the energy spent covering up problems is not spent on solving the problems instead.

there would be fewer problems.

For once, I agree with you.

I've been saying that for years.
And, while on duty we're running around attempting to be wanna be movie stars.

Just as I predicted. Now the polls have Marty ahead by 2 % points. The city employee desk tops must be smokin.

He infact did give creedence to the poll.Hense the reason for the the e-mail he sent out to all of his minions to vote in favor of him, regardless of whether or not they believed it or not. Must be pretty demeaning to work under those kinds of conditions.
He's like King Herod. If you soldiers can't find Jesus, then cut off the head of every baby you come across until you do.

Pleeeease! there are only a little over 300 votes not counting some who probably voted 30 80 times. Just clear the cookies of your computer and you can vote multiple times.

Don't flatter yourself that most city employees are busy voting, they have a fuken life!

So does that mean the mayor has been sitting at his desk voting for himself all this time?

Anonymous said...

No it means that he can sleep easy tonight knowing that only half of the people want him gone. It's 4:15 now and all the king's workers are pooped today and gone home. He's ahead by a whopping 2 points.

The better half :)

You've got to be joking .... right ! The police chief probably is a good, honest, hard working man, he just happens to be appointed by a egomaniac, closet drunk, womanizer, drunk driver, wife beater, oooh yeah and a horrible father. I guess the police chief probably has some sort of education other than a high school diploma wich leads me to the other chief the Fire chief what a choice. He makes 100 thousand plus with a high school diploma and calls shots like he is Tony Soprano! What are these political hacks gonna do when Napolean is outta office. Good luck to all you Throat cutters and back bitters when you are looking for someone to cling onto after 08'. I don't think the Mayor has the backing in state senate to get the law changed so he can run again. That's what acting like a playground bully gets you eventually someone will stand up to you and others will follow. Hey Mayor how's the Villanucci friendship ..........? hahhahahhahahahahahhahahahha LIERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Truth says:

Fellow bloggers, be careful what you wish for. If King Marty does not win his next election at the State level, he has the numbers to carry yet another four years as Emperor of the Emerald City. God Save Us, is there not a Joshua among us to march around Jerico with trumpets?

So what you are trying to imply is that if we don't vote him into an even higher office over us, we will be stuck with him here? What kind of screwed up logic is that!

"So what you are trying to imply is that if we don't vote him into an even higher office over us, we will be stuck with him here? What kind of screwed up logic is that!" - I would say it's the "Peter" priciple, except for the fact that he's already reached his level of incompetance!! :)

Wow, I wonder if the polygraph threat is true. Well, they don't have to worry, if they're good, they can beat the polygraph easy. I lied on the polygraph and passed no problems, then put a badge on hahahaha
