The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Mayoral Question and Answer

There's a little mini-mayoral forum going on this evening over at the Sheraton Uptown. Councilor Mayer's "Heart of the Heights" meeting is rumored to feature all three candidates - although since Mayor Chavez hasn't announced... oh yeah, he did. We'll we wouldn't be too sure that the current occupant of the 11th floor will show - particularly since exposure to questions from the public usually is not in an incumbent's best interests. But this could be a good opportunity to meet two of the three candidates in a small venue.

If you've got the time, we'd recommend you turn out. The forum is at the Sheraton Uptown at Menaul and Louisiana, starting at 7pm tonight. Who knows, if Marty shows there could be some real fireworks!

This party cleary violates Ethics code which looks to be mailed out
on July 14th, just a day before the story broke on Sally Mayer's financial incompetence. The mailing utilized a Policy Analyst,
Gilbert which is a violation of the the Ethics Code in using governmental equipement, computers, personal etc... 90 days prior to the election. The mailing took place on July 14th, 2009 and the party is for July 22th, 2009. Major violation, so not only is Sally Mayer financially incompetent and should not be handling Government money, but she is also ignorant of the Election Ethics Code, too!

I can't believe the citizens of this City would reelect Chavez. He had done three terms and going for four after telling the public "to hell with the City Charter". The two term limit ws put in there to avoid corruption. We need no Chicago style politics in this community. Most everyone knows he ahs a stranglehold on the city unions therefore their endorsements. As Obama says, "it is time for change"

To spot ABQ's Midget Mayor for life, look for the pair of shoes sticking out from under the jacket!

Did anyone at the forum ask Mayer how she racked up a $5,600 bill at Target?

I saw the Journal paper today front page on Metro and NM and also Section C2. The Mayor's Top Executive accused an ethics violations charge against Sally Mayer and Chavez didn't attend last night.

FOR all you citizens who think Marty is your man, he is endangering your public safety. Last Saturday night he drove through the barriers downtown, some of us Officers walked up to his vehicle not knowing it was him. No cars are allowed through the barriers, rule number one. After we saw it was him, he yelled at us and told us that we can't be in a group and only two officers together. I didn't know the mayor had police training or had ever been in a fight downtown when there are three or four people in a fight two cops can't take care of it without someone watching our back. Mayor is endangering our safety what are we going to do for the state fair when cops walk around in groups of 4 or 5. Maybe the phatttt mayor should stay downtown and if theres a fight he can throw his phattt body onto the stack and break it up. Vote anyone but chavez.

I found Sally Mayer's resume posted on a NAIO website. The Board of Directors are Corporations such as, Sun Cal, Mesa Del Sol, Titan, etc.... The
Board of Directors that Sally Mayer asked for help in finding a job (if Sally Mayer posted her resume to that link), are the same corporations that City Councilor Sally Mayer made important votes for or against just recently regarding multi-million dollar deals. The list of the list of the Board of Directors from NAIO can be found at the NAIO website under the heading: Board of Directors. Copy and paste the below link to find Sally Mayer's resume tied to NAIO. Also, I did notice that the NAIO is also having a "Mayoral Forum" sponsored by Corporations where "All three candidates are invited" on August 24th, 09. (Which can be found on the NAIO website, too).

It would appear that Sally Mayer's resume posted to the NAIO gives her City Council email address and not her personal email address which I believe sends out the message to potential employers that Sally Mayer's is putting her job and personal benefit needs before her City Council position.
