The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Another APD Sergeant Speaks Out: "Where to begin????"

Tontos
Well it's another beautiful day in Albuquerque.
We just spent another $300,000 to settle another police shooting. http://www.abqjournal.com/336238/news/APD-settles-for-300000.html
I know the media likes to play up the "human waste disposal" angle, but being a APD sergeant I like it that the officer used a gun he couldn't qualify with, thereby being ordered not to carry that firearm.  What are orders anyway?  Do officers actually have to obey orders?  And if they don't like an order can officers judge fudge and say they didn't know? Or better yet just lie about it?   Yep that Richard Berry has changed APD for the better.  He has really brought the standards up.  I mean what was the rule on untruthfulness before he was mayor?  Since Berry now allows officers to lie and keep their jobs the old rule must have been if you lie you get 30 days free subscription to Southwest Companions.  I am not sure about that because the city has never released any of the Southwest Companions documents.  But I trust Berry, he wouldn't hide anything.  He is a most transparent mayor.

By the way, APD doesn't need the shooting range when officers have qualified on the streets of Albuquerque.  Qualify with guns, we don't need to qualify with no stinking guns! (I think Sierra Madre is the movie).
I like it that the Kennedy Law Firm family is making sure they will have an inheritance for their children, paid for the citizens of Albuquerque.  It makes it easier to have an Albuquerque police settlement template that includes the Kennedy Law Firm already listed.  That way it speeds up just having to add zero's to the payout total.
Will we ever hear anything from the city or Kennedy law firm regarding Mary Han?  What is that noise?  Oh it is the sound of crickets on a summer evening in Albuquerque?  That is all we will ever hear regarding Mary Han.  Up until the settlement check is sent.  Oh but wait, back on December 20 2013 KOB reported that City Attorney David Tourek said the Mary Han case was "frivolous,  we do not settle frivolous lawsuits".  http://www.kob.com/article/stories/s3255771.shtml#.UtVUBvRDvK0
But within weeks this story comes from the Albuquerque Journal.  The city and Mary Han's attorneys are in settlement talks in Las Cruces.  http://www.abqjournal.com/334221/news/quiet-prevails-in-han-death-case.html
Well I sure hope that Tourek tells them to bring it on.  Albuquerque doesn't settle frivolous lawsuits.  If the Han family wants to take this to court I am sure Perry and Wheeler will be waiting in the parking garage.................
Still waiting for the video of our $30,000 pay raise CAO (we call him the Lone Perry and his side kick Tonto-Wheeler).  It was so nice to see him obstruct citizens at the city council meeting.  When politely asked to not kick a camera he tells the citizen not to touch him.  Oh so professional.  Of course Tonto-Wheeler is not going to stand for the Lone Perry being singled out by a citizen.  So Tonto-Wheeler goes into action in the parking garage, letting the citizen know just who the bosses are in this town.  Of course we don't know exactly what Tonto-Wheeler did because the city won't release the video. http://www.krqe.com/news/local/top-abq-officials-accused-of-petty-antics
KOAT is still reporting, every night, that APD and Chief Banks is still refusing their interview requests regarding Omaree Varela.  Hey just who does KOAT think they are?  Asking the Chief of APD to comment on the death of a child who APD had the opportunity to intervene with in 2012.  Why does KOAT want to know why the police report didn't make it to the DA?  Or why Crimes Against Children were not called out?  KOAT needs to know their place and go back to telling us who won Dancing with the Stars and which aging star broke their leg due to osteoporsis. http://www.koat.com/news/new-mexico/albuquerque/omaree-investigation-cyfd-unclear-what-can-be-made-public/-/9153728/23911898/-/5p75ghz/-/index.html
Crickets?????? Yes that sound is crickets on a winter evening as no further noise is made by anyone regarding another "lost" APD police report and the ensuing dismissal of murder charges.http://www.abqjournal.com/309275/news/judge-appalled-about-case.html  Why should we care that the judge is "appalled" by APD actions in this case?  Or that the APD detective stated that the DA's told him to lie?  Is this really news?  Is this really anything that should be looked into?  If we want another Breaking Bad TV series to film in Albuquerque we have to start acting like it.  This is a good start.  The silence is roaring in my ears.
NM Gas is selling out to Tampa Electric.  Does this mean more Albuquerque jobs will be Breaking Bad?
EmCore is laying off employees http://www.krqe.com/news/local/emcore-trims-albuquerque-workforce

Albertson's in 4 Hills is closing  http://www.abqjournal.com/335964/abqnewsseeker/albertsons-closing-four-hills-grocery-store.html.

Another 70 plus jobs lost, but who is counting.  The nice thing is that empty building already has a neighbor as the 4 Hills Regal Cinema already shut down.  Who needs movies anyway?  We are living the Breaking Bad life.  Albuquerque jobs, Breaking Bad.  Albuquerque police settlement payouts, Breaking Bad.  City transparency, Breaking Bad.
Baillos is closing in Santa Fe, but I don't want to get sidetracked.  Who cares about Santa Fe anyway?  So long as oil is coming out of Hobbs like the night before you have a colonoscopy New Mexico (and Susanna's campaign) will be just fine

Can we just be honest about the fact that we have a CRACKER mayor and a CRACKER CAO and a CRACKER city attorney and CRACKER managing editor of the Abq Journal who have a CRACKER love fest going on and aint't nothing gonna change in this city while the hillblies from Deliverance are running it?

Yup exactly right, crickets. And for our civilian readers that's the sound we hear on the radio when a call that requires some actual work comes over the air....silence.

You're the black eye you sack of pus. Chicken necked yellow flab of skin. But that's ok because we you say stupid shit like above we know you're remaining silent on what the sergeant said. C4 and stay where u are....in the RTCC or its equivalent.

9:34,
Ha ha ha... You asshat. You sound like you wrote that after a 30 pack of Old Milwaukee. Stop huffing the krylon spray paint. You, as well as the rest of the bed bugs infesting Albuquerque city government know how much this blog exposes your antics, and embarrasses your worthless asses.

10:40,
A cracker? Isn't that what Perry Berry the The City Attorney and the rest of the hillbillies sit around when they play theur game?? Don't they all share it, and eat it afterwards?

I think 2014 is a good year for all if them to choose to resign before they have no choice and are thrown out or dragged out in cuffs.

Great article. I think this is called connecting the dots. If the DoJ and the citizens can't figure out that APD and Albuquerque are being ruined by Berry and his minions, after reading this, then they must be APS graduates.

Here is an idea. Do a public records request and pull all the lawsuits that have been lost / settled over the last 5 years. Give an award to the APD officer who has lost the city the most money. Also give an award to the APD officer who has had the most lawsuits filed against him.

While at it give an award to Berry / Schultz / Banks / Perry for not showing any leadership and for not doing their jobs.

Hell it's not their money.

This town is a mess. I guess you can't say the media hasn't reported what is happening.

COPS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO POST NOR EVERYONE RELATED TO A COP NOR ANYONE THAT DEFENDS COPS NO MATTER WHAT THEY DO.... WE CAN TELL WHO ALL OF YOU ARE. LOL NO HIDING HERE. I WOULD POST MY NAME BUT YOU WOULD START MESSING WITH ME AGAIN. NO ONE CAN MESS WITH YOU SHOW YOUR NAMES OFFICERS.

"Go back under the rock in which you came"? Definitely a comment from a cop. That's how they talk when they've been smoking the evidence.

DOJ ?? HAAAAAAAAAA now that's funny..

"Human Bait" says:

Thanks for this week's parade of felons, meth dealing gangstalkers, murderers, capos and City Hall thugs. Must have been a lot of work to pull it off. The surveillance plane was a nice touch. Quite the Cecill B. DeMill production - cast of thousands. LOL! You sure know how to spend the COA's money and use APD's resources. No wonder there are no cops left to answer citizens' calls for help.

Sooooo, two sergeants got their assets handed to them. No, no manpower issue at all. And for all the grief Simmons gave me I hope she had all her shit together....

Anonymous said...

hahahahahahahahha omfg Eye....all you need is Douche bag White and you'll have the threesome of the city's three biggest shitheads...

BTW, I got a nice Groupon this week. It seems Berry's idea of raising the tickets to the Zoo was such a good idea that at $12.50 a pop why not use Groupon to offer 2 tickets at $12.50. So if you do the math, that really each ticket at $6.25. But we know Groupon takes 50% of each sale so really the city is getting $3.125 per ticket. That is some funky business savvy by Perry/Berrywinkle if you ask me....

@855 what happened??

When I sat down with the DOJ last year none of them had guns. So how does your scenario make sense? Correct me if I'm wrong but DOJ are lawyers.

KRQE WEBSITE SAYS THE ENTIRE STATE JUST LOWERED THE FITNESS STANDARDS FOR CADETS YOU NEVER HAD TO BE ABLE TO HIT YOUR TARGET DRIVE WELL OR BE HONEST NOW YOU DONT EVEN HAVE TO BE ABLE TO RUN TO CATCH THE GUY

@855 what happened??

January 18, 2014 at 9:00:00 AM MST

CH7 and the Journal reported that 2 sergeants had to get out of the office to answer a call for service for once because all the other officers were busy hiding in the main at secret desk jobs, or at the SWAT gym, or maybe they were looking for gang members at the cop eatery for two hours. At any rate TWO sergeants responded and got beat up by a deranged mad man who tried to kill his wife and son. I hope the bad man was treated accordingly afterwards.

You are wrong. DOJ has lots of departments, over 100,000 employees. DOJ administers a number of LE agencies such as US Marshals Service, FBI, ATF and DEA.

Anonymous said...

9:33,
You asshat, the FBI, DEA and ATF all come under the umbrella of the DOJ. Get an education before you open your sausage hole.

Anonymous said...

I just threw up a Capos sausage sub from years ago thx. So much for my Steak plate now. Lmmfao.

Anonymous said...

Don't be so smug. You think Civil Rights Div. is ignoring APD's criminal conduct? No peeling onions required to see what is hidden in plain sight. You are naive to think that the agencies under that umbrella aren't already investigating arrogant dirt bags like you.

Cheese , "whine" and crackers. Yup ..it's what's for dinner on our salary !

Anonymous said...

Haha ..wondered why the silence was so deafening ..thought perhaps they didn't like the dispatcher . but in reality ..they're fast asleep ...zzzzzzz.....

COA'S money comes from us all, including you .

Anonymous said...

The head of the DOJ is Eric Holder . Hmmm ....no baggage there ! Eric Holder's boss is Barack Hussein Obama . Now do you understand why Berry appointed INTERIM CHIEF BANKS ???? EVERYONE IS SO SHOCKED BECAUSE HIS SYNTAX IS WRONG? BUT HIS COLOR IS RIGHT AND THAT IS WHY PERRY TOLD BERRY TO APPOINT HIM INTERIM COP .

@2:47 chill dude....... If all the shit bags would have just listened to the officers they would not have been shot. People in this town have no respect for ANYONE in authority. Police, Teachers, Judges, it's always someone else's fault. Tired of hearing the same old shit.

Lol....please do tell!!!!!!!

What did Sgt OConnell do this time??? Why is she still a Sgt/"Officer" in the first place. She will be an IA Sgt or Lt. Soon. What a disgrace. Thank you Schultz and Banks...you are the best!

It's been a busy year for a group of federal accountants and some APD civilians. It seems when a 34 used a gun he wasn't qualified on the questions about what guns are being used got raised and how they were paid for. This led to the discovery that APD could not say if they still owned every gun they used federal funds to buy. This required a full audit, on the federal side, not internally.
The proof is in the paperwork. Overtime, equipment, community outreach, training, capital improvements and more have all been reappropriated outside of the scope of their funding sources. In multiple cases contractors have been found to not be fulfilling their contractual duties which management fails to intervene on, staff have been found to knowingly falsify time sheets, equipment and evidence has been mishandled, and political influence has been found to impact the financial operations of the department.
You can yell all you want about what DoJ will or will not do about the shootings. The fact is all Feds make a name for themselves when they bring charges for misappropriation of funds, regardless of party.

8:04..You invented the authority figure , as you put it. You're tired of hearing it ? What kind of warrior gets tired of it ? The cop on patrol ? Not even. They're being screwed over every way by their. Chief , the Mayor. , the bloated. CAO , and their union . Do they complain?? Hell yes . Do they show up for work every day because their job is to protect and serve the likes of people like you . Regardless of how you feel about them. Tell me again just how tired you get hearing about all this tiresome nonsense . You may have s vitamin B shortage .

Anonymous said...

Doesn't surprise me at all when you look at who's been running what. Remember when Dodi Camacho was the lieutenant ov the accreditation unit? Lol, no numbers were fixed there. And all her fuckups were made even worse by Eric Jordan. Now these two fools are fucking up homeland security funds and IA....cant make this up.

How about sgt Barraza or should I saw EX Sgt barraza. What's the scoop there?

So spill the beans on Sgt Barraza...

No rings, no strings!

I like that!

Who cares about Barraza or Oconnell, What about that wonderful contract? Did it pass yet?

So with the cadet standards now lowered, does that mean TJ's fat ass can be a cop???
