The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. EDEN: Intentional Deception or Idiocy?

One of the biggest issues that citizens and officers have with Mayor Berry and Chief Eden is the inability for them to provide clear precise answers to simple questions.  TO JUST TELL THE TRUTH.
This was clearly demonstrated by the response Chief Eden (June 11 2014 at Hotel Albuquerque Economic Forum) gave to a local businessman who asked about use of force.  Chief Eden responded that it would take hours to explain because there are pages upon pages on policy.
Why can’t Eden answer the question?  Since he arrived four months ago Eden has had one debacle after another.  First it was the “justified” comment regarding the Boyd shooting.  Then it was the “I don’t know” press conference.  Then it was the “gag” order prohibiting APD officers from speaking to the DoJ.  Then the “I don’t know who makes APD lapel cameras”.  Now it is just silence,,,,, if Eden doesn’t like the question he just doesn’t respond.
So your friends at the Eye are going to help the local businessman out.  Credit to Joe Monahan for pointing out that all Eden needed to do was hand the businessman the Use of Force Chart.  So here is the Use of Force chart that APD, and the New Mexico State Academy, teach to cadets.  It is very clear and easy to understand
There are two other items your Eye would like to point out.  First, Eden was the Cabinet Secretary for the New Mexico Department of Public Safety.  That means he was in charge of the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy as well as the NM State Police.  That means Eden should know and have approved the Use of Force Chart we are providing.  Hit the "EASY" button, this is all the businessman was asking for.  Troubling that Eden either didn’t know or couldn’t explain Use of Force.  Second, Mayor Berry gave Eden a $20,000 pay raise above what Ray Schultz was making, on the day Eden was hired!  Eden makes around $160,000 per year.  For this type of money we all expect Eden to know what he is doing on the first day.  His continues to embarrass himself and the city with missteps every week.  Clearly he is in over his head.  And no Gordon, I am not going to notify you or your Assistant Chief, Deputy Chiefs, Majors, Area Commanders of my meetings with the DOJ
Berry caused this mess by keeping Ray Schultz back in 2009.  Berry continues marching APD and Albuquerque down the road to hell by keeping Eden, a chief who is clearly out of his league and ability.

The Journal Editorial regarding and condemning Eden's gag order was another "cover the Mayor's ass" editorial. It should have been a stronger condemnation of the gag order if they meant what they were saying about a free and transparent exchange of information. Instead, the Journal condemns the gag order practice and then heaps praise on two policy changes Eden has implemented never mentioning Berry.

The media continues to cover Berry's ass. No one in the media reports why Berry would allow such a gag order, if Berry approved of it or went along with it or will he order his Chief to withdraw the gag order. When is the media and for that matter the voting pubic ever going to hold Berry accountable for his managers actions, including the actions of Chief Administrative Drunk Rob Perry??

Can you fix the link to the Use of Force chart? It's blurry and when you click on it, it becomes smaller.

Very good article. Glad to hear that you are meeting with the DOJ and each & every officer has the right to do the same. The "Fatwa" or edict sent out in an email by those who have the most to lose by information getting out. Eden is a crook, Berry is a crook, Perry is a drunken crook, and all the other players too numerous to name all have something to lose whether it be a position they are not qualified for or hefty kickbacks from Taser, they should all be under indictment.

Thought you should know that your link has tracking embedded in it by what is recorded after the html.

If you don't want your link to be tracked, you can remove the embedded part to show the link like this:

The Albuquerque Economic Forum, the Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Office and Industrial Park Managers (NAIOP)and the New Mexico Business Coalition are the only organizations that Berry, Perry and Eden will ever regularly and without hesitation appear before because this is Berry's power and money base and they will always believe as gospel the Berry propaganda. Berry is one of them. These organizations represent the worst of the Republican right wing agenda and major donors. Berry makes sure their members are taken care of with City contracts including Terri Cole, Sherman McCorkle, Bob Murphy, Larry Sontag and his wife Carla.

All four organizations will never question or challenge Berry's mismanagement and believe nothing is wrong with APD. It was not so much as what Eden said to the Economic Forum that was grotesque, but the fact so many of the fools in the audience agreed and nodded at what Eden said as if Eden was some sort of sage.

The biggest problem is Berry and these organizations think they know what is best for Albuquerque and think they reflect Albuquerque and its people, but they are clearly interested in only themselves. These organizations could careless about the average working class. These organizations condemn unions, oppose increases in the minimum wage, always want decreases in corporate taxes and think City Hall is too bloated and that City employees should be thankful for having jobs in this bad economy. These organizations have been part of the problem and have contributed to destroying Albuquerque's economy because of their self centered ways.

Is anybody paying attention to the latest Berry tactical move?

Note how the Gestapo wants to know required information before you’ll get an invitation to participate in a solution to fix this mess.

Berry, you and Eden need to pack your bags!

Berry, Perry and Eden: the forked-tongue devils.

Perry says when he drinks a little, then clicks on links while reading the Eye, his anal region tickles, and he hears the faint giggling of aliens in his ears, or is that Berry's giggles? Hmmmm. Tourek and Wheeler, does the same thing happen to you guys. I would ask Levy, but I myself think I just heard an alien scream at the mention of that.

Oh, but the APOA thinks Berry idea is "great". True colors coming out now as the rats scurry.

Not sure I understand how the City will know if and when an officer meets with them. The meeting and information sharing should be guaranteed as confidential exchange and no information seeping back to City Administrators. Sounds like an effort by the City to provide a veiled threat, make every officer reconsider before calling DOJ, even upon pulling the damning email. If DOJ releases info, they are just as bad as the City we work for. There are protections in place and no one should be afraid to come forward.

Wouldn't surprise me if the DOJ was staked out just to see who goes to meet with them. I think citizens should start following the top three idiots and report on their activities.

The aliens have reported that they don't have the equipment to anally probe Levy. The probe would have to be a tight fit in a 55 gal drum and they can't justify the weight against possible returns. That's why you heard the scream - if they were ordered to probe Levy they probably wouldn't have the fuel for their return flight. The thought of being stuck here terrified them.

I wonder if Eden and Gary King use the same drug dealer...
That guy has got to be making a killing on the Ludes he is selling them...

I was told by a City Council Member that Eden told that person to their face that he is a certified law enforcement officer. Does anyone know if this is true ? If it is true , does anyone know how and when he obtained his certification ?

This mornings news has a feel good story about Brett Lampris Tremba saving a woman from bleeding to death from a stabbing. They say he was flagged down by a citizen. They miss the point that to be flagged down means he must be in a marked car. So BLT cost the city ten million dollars and now he is out patrolling the SE in a marked unit?!

Anonymous said...

Eden was asked during the Police Department Budget hearings if he was in fact certified and if he could make an arrest. Eden got agitated and said he could make an arrest and that he was certified. He may have lied not to just one councilor but to all 9. Some one needs to make an IPRA request either with the city or state to determine if Eden was lying. After he left BCSO, he could have maintained his yearly certification.

Obstruction of justice, witness intimidation, retaliation, perjury...... The list goes on, and I am hearing the shit is about to really hit the fan in a couple weeks. I would not want to be a part if the gang that started all of this, and thought they got away with it. There's a pale horse on it's way.

The DOJ would never disclose to whom they spoke. They need as much information as possible. The city i.e., the mayor has a lot to lose. The city is threatening & intimidating witnesses. DOJ needs to know this as well. Do not hesitate to step forward.

An Honest Look at the Side of Police Shootings that You Won’t See on the News

Mr. Torres, a well-respected attorney in Albuquerque, and his wife, Ms. Torres, speak candidly about the loss of their son who was killed by APD, the truth about the impotent old media and solutions to this crisis.

When are they going to get rid of Keith Sandy???? He should've never been hired in the beginning. Worthless !!!! Womanizer !!!!

Judge Bacon showed bias against the APD officers by not allowing them a jury trial. This is their Constitutional right. The judge should have punished the officers attorney for filing late for the jury request, but she should not have denied them their Constitutional right to jury trial (7th Amendment of the Bill of Rights).

The other item I have a problem with regarding Judge Bacon ruling is her comments about there not being any fingerprints of Torres on the gun. Fingerprints on a gun very rarely if ever occur. What was on the gun was Torres DNA. That is actually better than a fingerprint but Judge Bacon opted to ignore that fact.

The APD officers deserve a new trial with a jury reviewing the evidence. That is only fair. Judge Bacon appears biased against the officers.

TR @ 9:36pm:

The aliens are a pretty OK bunch. They are here doing research on defective humans to learn how to avoid or block the causes of "defective brain function" from spreading to their populations. Actually, we do have some things in common with them. The other night they showed me their version of "Doing The Hokey-Pokie". It was "Put your right tentacle in, slide your left tentacle out. Shove all your tentacles in, and swirl them all about. And that's how you do the Hokie-Pokie!"

This will probably piss off a lot of people BUT... Anyway, I am tired of hearing and reading about how Christopher Torres, James Boyd, Mary Hawkes, Alan Gomez and some others that had run ins with the LAW were such nice people. They and their family members need to take responsibility for their actions or lack of and just go away.

Officers couldn't get it together; just like Bret. To bad.

9:49,
And just what type of responsibility should they have taken? I’ll bet you are an old white guy who has been living in your bubble of elitism.

This will probably piss you and your club house bullies off BUT, now it’s time for alpha OWG’s to just go away and let the rest of the world create a more egalitarian society where everyone has opportunity, not just the elite.

The Bill or Rights is for all of us or it is for none of us. Judge Bacon was biased in her decision not to allow the jury trial. The Torres family is full of defense attorneys, they know this. They should also want a fair trial, not what Judge Bacon did. Like it or not this is going to be reversed on appeal. live with it. Our Constitution is a good thing.

10:42,

Interesting point. I do believe that the officers are just the pawns, or the front line soldiers, in a larger scheme to eradicate those who have the philosophy that there is “human waste” to be disposed of. Berry and Perry, are you listening? If there had been a jury trial, what would have made the outcome different?

And if you listened to the Torres’ interview, which can be viewed at the apdprotest.org site referenced above, you will know that there was a massive conspiracy to cover up the killing of their son, to the point where they even used a bull horn, walking around the perimeter of the home, asking Christopher to come out. That was long after the ambulance had already taken him to the morgue. It doesn’t get more blatantly conspiratorial than that.

Re: your comment about the DNA, the Torres’ address that in the interview too. DNA can easily get on an officer’s hands which can then be transferred to the gun. You should watch the interview. It’s very educational.

And then, of course, we have the killing of Mary Han and that conspiracy. Yes, folks, we have a collective group of the elite committing conspiracy after conspiracy upon the citizens. And there’s more that hasn’t even come out yet. But it will!

Moral of the story is, APD officers, DON’T KILL PEOPLE or violate citizen's rights, because this corrupt administration has too much heat on them due to the collective Movement to back you. You’re just pawns, so don’t fall into their corrupt practices to eradicate the human waste, because they’ll leave you high and dry.

City council is meeting tonight at 5pm. It should be interesting! For those of you who can’t make it, you can watch it starting at 5pm at

http://www.cabq.gov/culturalservices/govtv/

Watch do nothing and arrogant Don Harris as he refuses to have eye contact with the citizens and contortionist Trudy Jones who tries to twist what people say to make it fit into her elitist agenda. They both need to go! Can someone please tell me what are they doing for the other 90% of the citizens who they should be representing instead of the elitists?

6.31 I'm throwing out the bullshit flag on the DNA transfer. I investigate felony level crimes for one of the larger police departments (not APD) in NM on a daily basis and I'm immediately suspicious of ANY defense attorney who comes out with a convoluted tale of how a suspect's DNA miraculously arrived on an item of evidence when the simplest answer is the suspect came into contact with it.

How he came into contact with it is another matter but when you have to come up with wild and unlikely theories of DNA transfer, you lose credibility.

6/15@9:49...I agree completely. And I have a family member with drug issues who has been arrested for possession, & agg . assault. I have seen him arrested time & time again and although we have seen him through rehab, sent him out of state to other family for a fresh start, he will not stop using drugs. We have had interventions, he's been one & off in counseling since he was a teenager. We have told him if he doesn't take his addiction seriously & seek help he could have a tragic end to his life as these people have. All the counselors and shrinks who deal with criminals daily tell me they can't figure him out because of his high intelligence & lack of the "criminal vibe" or lack of criminal mindset. Well so far his 99 problems are drug related. But could easily escalate to stealing, B&E if here doesn't stop. Our family does not have the "oh mí poor hijito" .

Are you suggesting that the cops would be justified in killing him because the world of psychology can't figure out why his mind works that way?

Personally, I think that's God's decision.

Or, if not, what is your solution to "fix" him?

10:04am - I have no control over the aliens and their research. I only pass on the little information that they provide me. Just to reassure you, not all their probing is anal. It's just that, with some people, the anal probe is using the shortest route to their brain.
