The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Berry and his Four Hills Elitists Acquire Private Police Force

Berry and his merry bunch of wealthy’s elitists have filled the moat around the castles up on the hill.  The Four Hills community where your mayor lives has hired a “private police force” to patrol and defend the crème de la crème of Albuquerque.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a police force that protects, serves and defends the public which is funded by our tax dollars?  Well, here in Albuquerque, New Mexico, if you want police protection, you will need to hire a private police force like Berry and his merry bunch of elitists have done for the past nine years.  We understand money is not an issue for the mayor and his cohorts but for the rest of us poor slobs; we rely on a public police force.

Instead of hiring enough officers by using intelligent methods, Berry and his elitists have chosen to hire their own private police to serve at their every beckon call.  Can we now expect to see the Mad Max type roaming the streets of Albuquerque?  Do all of us need to start strapping a gun to our sides?  Even the Bernalillo County District Attorney proclaimed today; Albuquerque is in crisis.

We must reiterate this again; if Marty Chavez was Mayor, heads would have rolled and a new police administration would have been brought in who can actually do the job they were hired to do.  This Mayor needs to learn a lesson from Marty.  And the lesson is simple; Take care of business!

Logic should dictate what the course of action should be taken.  Berry needs to bring in a completely new and competent leadership to APD.  A leadership who will do the job they are hired to do.

Mister Berry, as the leader of this community (and if you want to truly move forward with a political career) you will have to take strong bold measures. Right the wrongs that have occurred.

It is a complete slap in the face to the citizens of Albuquerque and an unforgiveable insult for the mayor to have a private police force while the rest of Albuquerque suffers. This is clearly hypocrisy and is disgusting.

I believe the security company is I.P.A. International Protection Agency. You might want to fact check that. Hey don't blame the security company they are in business to make money. There is one person to blame and that is, you guessed it Berry. Must be nice to have a squad of officers protecting you day and night and private security patrolling while the rest of us have our homes broken into, our cars stolen, drugs being sold in the open, and I could on and on, but you get the point. Remember the BERRY lie. Boosting crime is going down. 200% higher in our city than other cities our size. Make you feel safe ? I believe we should all get a tax refund so we can all pool our refunds and heir private security in our neighborhood. No the answer Berry has is to heir political appointees pay a huge salary that don't have a clue, add more top brass to a already top heavy police department, pay them huge salaries and don't hire rank and file officers. Folks you cant make this stuff up. Folks you have to get involved if you want change. Sitting on our backside and wishing thing will change is not working out so well, is it? When 15% of us take the time to vote for our elected official we are to blame. Where are the rest of us. I do not respond to anonymous comments.

Not even the Mayor, the biggest defender of all things APD, trusts the department to protect his neighborhood.

This is a remarkable moment for the rank and file. Will reality set in that the department is a failure? Will the rank and file realize their place in that failure now? No doubt the eye will find a way to defend the rank and file and blame everyone else. Let's hear it eye. Tell us how bad cops are managements fault. Remind the readers how many "good" cops have stopped a bad cop in action. Maybe a picture of a goose egg to drive home the point. Then be sure and throw a non rank and file cop under the bus to support your agenda.

It's pretty telling when the DA says the people don't trust the police. That's not the Chief's fault, that's the cop on the street's fault.

Not policing your own and protecting the criminals within has brought you to this place. Enjoy the bed.

Heh and Dinelli likewise would have "taken care of business" and both said just 18 months ago APD was in crisis, was in complete meltdown and that the Chief, Deputies, Commanders should all be removed. Both Heh and Dinell said crime was out of control but Berry and the Republican business community said all was well and spent close to $1 million to get Berry re-elected. No one believed or voted for Dinelli and Heh, no one cared. Not until a homeless man was caught on tape being executed by APD and a child was beaten to death by his parent did the general public show any concern. The voters did not care enough to even vote and we still have a City Council asleep at the wheel. There is a City Council election in 5 months, and watch block head Brad Winter and Trudy Jones get reelected.

Just like Berry, deminish the work force(800+ vacant city jobs) so private contractors can be hired to do the jobs. The whole city gov. Is filled with contractors who make more per man hr than the city employees they replaced. If you don't believe it Check out the billing invoices that the city happily pays without question cause the contractors are Berrys political donors. Don't have to believe me just ask for invoices and wait till city responds with the lame response, " in the long run it is cheaper cause the city isn't paying benifits on the hourly wage" . The answer is yes no benifits but the hourly wage is one and a half times what the city employees were getting with benifits factored in. Explain that Mr Buissness man Mayor!! Oh that's right it's not your money it's the TAXPAYERS.

Sandy won't testify any one wanna take my bet? Can anyone say Gigillio???? Karma a bitch aint it Sandy. If I was Perez I would definitely discuss with Robles about my case being severed from Sandy. Jurors are gonna paint one big picture with both of them.

Anonymous said...

They are stalling so he can reach retirement like they did with Sandy. This is what they do for you if you are in the in crowd and they know you are going to get fucked. Certain people can murder others and fuck up so bad that they should be immediately terminated but instead are promoted, and others actually get fucked over for doing their jobs and suspended or fired. APD is a cess pool. It is run by scum who reward cowardly and criminal acts based on what the person committing them has done for them lately.

8:37. How in the hell can you say it's not the chiefs and his admins fault? Are you the chiefs wife.? Who in the hell do you think has been allowing the " rank and file" to
get away with all this crap. Who do you think does all the hiring? Who do you think makes the policies? Who spends the money? Eden knew he was over his head when he took this job, but still had the ability to make change. And what does he do? Promotes some of the most worthless and corrupt people to implement the few policies he has come up with. Montano, gonterman, roseman, Garcia, brown and of the course the guy who's made such a huge difference since his return.....huntsman. To actually try and move the blame to the street cop is amusing. The chiefs and his jokers have somehow had their hands in everything bad thing APD has done and they have made very bad situations worse.

I don't 100% believe the city is in crisis but I do believe it is going to take years to fix what is broken. And I know that the Mayor and the APD people he has put in place aren't the people that will be able to fix it. If anything they will cause a lot more damage before they leave. Bloggers have said this before, you can't take a bunch of people who caused the problem and then promote them to fix it. I don't blame Brandenburg for attacking the PD, after all they are going after her with a bogus investigation, even the lead detective on the case said on tape that the charges were crap. And the egos of APDs top brass rub a lot of people the wrong way. But she needs to be bigger, realize she is on her way out and do her best to get more criminals off the street.

Anonymous said...

Doesn't surprise me to learn the mayor has extra people protecting him, dig deeper and you'll prob find out the taxpayers are writing the checks. Do people forget that during the protests he had and the chief had cops guarding their homes around the clock. Or that he has a security detail made up of APD cops that could be patrolling the streets for the rest of us. City hall is full of corruption and they know they are untouchable.

Anonymous said...

Enough already with people always bring up Chavez and Schultz. They are gone and the current mayor and chief promised they were the perfect pair to fix what was wrong. As we can see they we full of crap and the corruption continues. Stop living in the past and move on. Schultz might have gotten the DOJ leaning towards taking over APD but Eden made their minds up with the Boyd shooting fiasco. The mayor had the perfect opportunity to bring in new APD leadership with those out of state candidates and he chose to take the political route and hire Eden. Look at all the damage that has been caused since Schultz left. Let's lay blame were it belongs and that's the current admin. Berry has had 5+ years to fix anything he thought chavez had broken and he has done nothing.

Just asking, didn't the rules change for PERA regarding felony convictions while employed in a PERA qualifying agency? Did the rule not say benifits would be terminated if felony committed while employed? If so won't Sandys retirement become a non issue and that he will be broke as well as a convict? I'm sure the new prosecutor will play the " I'm gonna shoot him in the huevos " tape over and over. Case closed PERA gone and a new bitch in the joint.

I want you all to look very closely at this video, and observe the fitment of Hollow Wodden Head Berry's neck in his dress shirt. Observe how he looks so much like a sick chicken. Observe how his shirt is now hanging off of him. See the spindly little neck. That is worry fear and nervousness, along with lost sleep and skipped meals. How is this happening? Is he shrinking?

http://www.kob.com/article/stories/s3769796.shtml#.VTLt-ob3arU

Woodhead Berry says that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but this bold faced liar, coward, and scum bag thinks he is entitled to his own facts. Notice how careful he is about his choice of words now, and how he addresses people. Not too cocky are you mayor asshole? Are you? Is that because you know you are about to eat some crow, ass and all? I will bet it is.
Still think Schultz was the man for the job? I will bet that someone much bigger does not. How have those emergency staff meetings been? Come up with any new ways besides framing people, to avoid the tidal wave coming climbing up your ass? How is the spin going? Running out of bullshit aren't you?

Lets see how you address this now? Maybe you will now be seen wearing shirts that fit, like when Perry was humiliated and started taking boxing lessons and zumba classes. Lets see how many more times you use the word "craft" and your little catch phrases like "moving forward." You sound like a complete asshat.

Orange jumpsuits for Berry, Perry, White, Schultz, TJ, Feist, Levy, and a few others.

P.S. Maybe your little elf Gilbert picked up the wrong laundry at the cleaners when you sent him.

7:52,
Get your facts strait before opening your mouth. The DOJ was already here when the Boyd shooting happened. Schultz needs to be dragged into the future from his cowardly hiding and prosecuted. Then we will see someone without a PERA pension. If anyone deserves having everything ripped from him it is that guy.

Anonymous said...

Oh and since it seems I'm never going to get promoted because Brett Lampiris Tremba has been next on the sergeant list for five months maybe the media should look into all the unnecessary acting sergeants out there because Eden and Berry know how bad it will look when Brett gets his stripes. And really, this is the never ending bid. Again it was delayed.

The company that was hired to provide security for the four hills section is IPS, International Protective Services.
It is owned and operated by Aaron Jones who was the Valencia County detective on the Levi Chavez murder trial. This guy:

Sounds like the facts of 7:52 are pretty straight to me. Yes the DOJ was here conducting the investigation for a year before Eden got here. But anyone who talked to the DOJ after their ruling knows they said the Boyd shooting and Edens comments after, solidified their opinion that APD was jacked up. Schultz is definitely a crook but so was/is everyone at police HQ during his time and more so now. Regardless of what Schultz did, I seriously doubt anyone from Berrys or Martinezs office is going to implicate him in anything. He has too much dirt on them. We can bitch all we want but he's in texas making twice as much as all the officers and citizens he screwed over and the worst thing he might face is a small fine for the taser scam.

Anonymous said...

Fire les brown? Why? Just because he allowed the ROP unit to run around without consequence or regard for people's rights. . Just because when he was in charge of gang unit they were involved in numerous questionable shootings? Just because when he was I charge of vice they screwed up every high profile investigation they conducted. And allowed his narc LT to do whatever the hell he wanted which led to him almost killing his own Det. Wait. That covers incompetence and criminal behavior in every unit he has ever ran. but in APD that doesn't mean discipline unless your an officer, he'll get promoted one more time because like everyone else he has dirt on Garcia and the rest of the 5th floor. All that he has done and nothing, but yet they'll discipline an officer for not turning on his camera. WOW.

Anonymous said...

I agree with 7:20. How in the hell can you have half the department being ran by people with no formal training in being a supervisor. Some do a better job than those who actually have stripes but without the official title, the dept is once again opening itself up for a crap storm if something goes wrong. When you have Lts on the list waiting to be promoted how can you justify having a sgt making Lts pay for over a year. These are obvious areas in need of change and the policy makers just ignore it like so many other things until the media gets ahold of it. So yes media outlets look into it cause that's the only time the 5th floor takes action. And you idiots cleared lampiris tremba so man the hell up and promote him. If you don't fire a dirty cop that gives information from a data base to her boyfriend then don't punish a cop who was criminally cleared of a shooting.

Anonymous said...

Hahaha. It is Ironic how in APD everyone has dirt on everyone. That must be the easiest thing to obtain in that agency considering how all of those filthy bastards swim in dirt. Finding upper command staff that you can't get dirt on is the rarity.

2:50,
I do not know how you judge facts, but it must be from the same APD lesson plan. You admit that the jist of what your buddy or more probably you, posted was fact when it wasn't. As for Schultz's behavior, public figures in much larger municipalities have been indicted, convicted and given 20 year sentences for fractions of what that criminal has done. There is too much there for them to ignore, without getting shit on their own faces for ignoring it. It is not up to Berry or Martinez. As a matter of fact, they are just as responsible, and will probably be catching some shit when the other shoe drops. There may be a bunch of turds floating around in the same toilet bowl, but all it takes is someone with no dog in the fight, who does not care who knows what to step into the room and flush the toilet. When those that have discovered indictable actions decide to look the other way, proof of their actions will then flood the media, and they will see that they should have done the right thing. The proof that they knew will give them nowhere to hide, when the light is then turned on them. It is only quiet now because everyone is being given the rope they need to see who chooses the right path. It is going to get pretty interesting for everyone who doesn't. New Mexico is a great place when it comes to wire tap laws and recorded conversations. If I were connected in any way whatsoever to Schultz and his schemes, I would be saving up for an attorney.

Gordon Eden,

Nobody wants to work for APD because is is a parasitic police department, lead by top brass that hide in the shadows like a bunch of cowards, then when you do see them, the sight of them makes you sick. Why would anyone want to work for a police department that actively eats it's own for the good of the brass who are the real corrupt criminals getting rich behind the scenes. How do you work for a bunch of self serving supervisors, who only took the job for a fast pension, and are in it to grab all they can and run. You could give that job away and you would not get qualified candidates to take it who will be real cops and get the job done. You are going to get the wannabes who always wanted to be a cop. Sometimes these overzealous types are not the ones you want.

APD has screwed over so many people and feigned transparency to the point that anyone with integrity would not sell out themselves just to become a police officer for a desperate police department that will betray them the first time they need a scapegoat or distraction for the media or DOJ.

Theyve been patrolling Four Hills for years. Back when I worked FH no units were assigned to patrol down there because they did it. Same goes for Tanoan in the NE. This isnt news.
Dont bitch how we need more guys on the street then bitch when someone does our job for us.
It does explain why the Mayor is so damn out of touch.

It appears Jones is doing pretty well for himself, vehicles, uniforms, K-9, etc....

Not a fan that he hired the best from SCSO, JP, I wonder where Tiny Tim went?

The good thing with Jones is you get to play "cop" without all the crap of APD brass and berry.

IPS has contracts with each individual home owner that requests their service. Mayor Berry is NOT a client of IPS. This entire blog is a sham...except for most of the comments about APD, lol.
