The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Poll Scares the Hell out of Berry and his Minons

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

August 7, 2013
Contact: Paul Heh
(505) 459-5545

“Polls, pools, and the Heisenberg Principle”

Albuquerque, NM—In a recent non-scientific poll, Albuquerque Business First surveyed browsers and asked viewers who they would vote for if the mayoral election were held today. At the conclusion of the poll where over 2000 people participated, candidate Paul Heh led with 43% of the vote in front of incumbent R. J. Berry’s 34% and Pete Dinelli who garnered 22%. “What the poll told me was that while there are core Berry supporters who voted in the Albuquerque Business First poll, they are not in the majority at all” said Paul Heh when he was first informed of the poll’s results.

Yet in an interview broadcasted Wednesday evening on KOAT-7, Brian Sanderoff of Research and Polling, Inc. quickly attacked the poll and openly questioned Mr. Heh’s integrity. “We have a situation where somebody stuffed the ballot box so to speak,” remarked Mr. Sanderoff. “Typically in their polls they have 250-450 people who participate, this one had more than 2,000 people participating” he added. When asked what he thought a “scientific” poll would look like, Mr. Sanderoff said, “Among business people, I think R. J. Berry would be ahead being that he is a business person.”

“R. J. Berry has been hiding ever since I did what they said I wouldn’t do which was make it to the ballot. Now in some random poll it shows that I have popular support, so what do they do, attack the poll,” responded candidate Heh. “And Mr. Sanderoff has the audacity to suggest I stuffed the ballot box? Maybe Mr. Sanderoff should not be so quick to discredit the people I meet day in and day out who tell me they are done with Berry and what he has done to the city. Given Mr. Sanderoff’s credentials I would expect him of all people to know that by stating what he thought the outcome should be he just influenced it. I guess he forgot what the Heisenberg principle is from high school physics,” bristled candidate Heh.

Joe Byers, Mr. Heh’s campaign manager, also criticized the proposed scientific poll of 500 voters, “So they are going to call 500 voters who have voted in the past and are going to ask who they will vote for again. I’d like to know what 500 people are they going to call and how dispersed the demographic pool is, or are they simply going to do what I expect them to do which is call 500 voters who voted for Berry last time around and confirm what Sanderoff proposed. The situation really is that Sanderoff put his thumb on the scale.”

Sanderoff was quick to criticize the poll; yet he is trying to "promote" his own polling company.  The same company that he makes his bread and butter from...Geez, does Sanderoff have an motive for trashing the poll?

It is clear that Berry and Schultz have their minors in place to run "interference" for them.  The question is why? The word "coward" comes to some peoples minds...

A true professional does NOT speak in public and spew their vile. That is what makes them a professional. Sanderoff lost credibility for this cheap shot.

Berry needs to check his Calendar

Since we all know Berry says he is a Republican and a conservative and a businessman, etc... We all know he is really a big failure.  Everyone knows where Berry has been (and been up too) and what his real beliefs are; and they are not Republican, conservative or good businessmen type beliefs.

Check your calendar Berry and put on your purple Barney suit...When you get back "pretend" you are a conservative. Maybe stop by the local church and have that "conversation" with the pastor.

Thick as Thieves

As we reported yesterday here on the Eye On Albuquerque there is clearly a conspiracy between Republican City Councilor Don Harris and Albuquerque’s Mayor Berry.  Here is the deal, Berry knows there will be a run-off election and he will not win, so he is doing what every sneaky and conniving thief does; cheat!

Berry has decided to bed with fellow Republican Don Harris.  As you recall Harris proposed a $20,000 study by a paid city employee to find the reason why APD has a shortage of officers or why they cannot recruit.  Yes folk, he wants to pay PAID employees to do their job.  The entire purpose of this charade was to mask all of Berry’s blunders.  Now Harris has made a new proposal to save Berry in a run-off election.

On Monday night Harris proposed to change the City election to give Berry an unfair and undue advantage.  According to Channel 4 News (READ IT HERE) Harris’s proposal in his legislation will change the voting period leading up to the run-off election from 20 days to just 7 days.  This would clearly give an advantage to the incumbent candidate.

Our Eyes tell us the public, whom were in attendance, were outraged! Harris ended up eating crow and withdrew his proposal to give Berry an unfair and undue advantage over the other candidates.  It makes us wonder why Harris would "sell his soul to the devil."  It appears, Harris has been promised something in return for kiss the A-finger ring on King Berry's hand.

Mayoral candidate Paul Heh stated, “Why would he want to change it from 20 days to 7 days?”  Heh also stated, “I smell politics all over this thing, I think it would absolutely benefit the mayor in some way or another.”

Candidate Dinelli stated, “It’s changing the rules in the middle of an election cycle” Dinelli continued and stated, “This is clearly an effort by the Republicans to have voter suppression and it will favor the incumbents.  I think it is ill-advised and I would hope that the mayor would quickly denounce it.”

In response Berry’s office sent out an email.  The statement in the email claimed Berry “Strongly supports early voting and will evaluate the bill on its merits once it is further through the legislative process.”

Berry’s office plays a smooth game starting off the email with “strongly support” and then ends it with the; we will do anything to win statement (will evaluate the bill on its merits).  Game over Berry, even cheating Berry will still lose because of Berry’s bad leadership.  Harris is working hard to ruin what little credibility he once had.

Does the Guns Disposal Program equal NEW/BETTER GUNS for Participants?

People have a right to keep and bear arms; this is guaranteed by the Second Amendment of the Constitution.  We here at the Eye received many emails from citizens whom were critical about the Eye’s story about the City’s attempt to disarm the citizens of Albuquerque.  We still stand by our claim and statements in regards to the Gun Disposal Program but we found there is more to the story and there is a positive spin on it. We have a clear affection for guns and the gun “buyback” programs that help people become better armed.

Our readership sent us several emails telling us to leave our criticism of the programs alone.  The leading reason for turning in a gun; people are turning in their junk (broken) firearm’s which are basically worthless and receiving monetary compensation.  What a DEAL; RIGHT!  Several of our readers told us they used this money to go out and purchase a new functional gun or ammunition to another firearm. Way to go Berry and Schultz.  The APD version went broke quickly but other agencies have kicked in some “bucks” (that’s for all of our hunters).

In a recent Journal article titled, “Gun buybacks: Do they work?” By Leslie Linthicum (Read it HERE), the reporter stated the following:

[The National Research Council, in a massive review of firearms and violence in 2004, examined gun buybacks and their theoretical premise – “that the program will lead to fewer guns on the streets because fewer guns are available for either theft or trade, and that consequently violence will decline.”

It found that theory lacking and explained why. First, the guns that are turned in tend to be older and sometimes barely functioning and they are by definition unwanted – not the type of guns likely to be used in a crime. Second, replacing guns is easy. And third, the statistical likelihood that any one gun will be used in a crime is tiny.]

So, although we here at the Eye view the “Weapons Disposal Program” as the first step to a communist like Berry to try and disarm the Citizens of Albuquerque; there is a benefit for our citizens for now.

Step it UP Albuquerque with Houdini Berry

The self-perceived magical Berry who has not been seen or really heard from in the past three-and-a-half years; made a special guest appearance on Channel 7 News (which is one of Berry’s puppets) with Dr. Ramo on Sunday morning.  Berry stated, “The simple act of putting one foot in front of the other makes you healthier…” After three-and-a-half years and now you want to try and offer a plan to make everyone healthier?  Where in the heck have you been the past few years?

It would have been really nice for Berry to have put one foot in front of the other the past three-and-a-half years to have kept the 2,500 jobs he lost the City, fired Schultz, and actually lowered crime.  Berry failed all the way around. And now he wants to “Step It Up Albuquerque”?  Berry needs to step it out the door.  This is ALL a POLITICAL move to try and get your vote.  He didn’t care about anybody or anything except his “ABQ Boutique” till now; election time.

What’s up with this whole Boutique deal? Is Berry a hair dresser or an interior decorator?  No pun intended on the hair dresser portion of the question since Berry is follically challenged.
Since it is election year Berry is out there spreading his vile trying to baloney the public into believing he “really cares.”  The fact of the matter is Berry only cares about keeping his job and building his Boutique; not about you and not about the City. He has run the City into the ground.

FACT:  If Berry continues to ruin the City like he ruined his business which he closed and suspended his license in January; we are all in trouble.  One last note, how many times have you seen Berry out at the Run for the Zoo or any other “physical activity?”  The only event we have noted him attending proudly was the Gay Pride Parade where Berry was the Grand Marshal.  At that he was not there to support the people as much as he was vying for political votes.
We need to vote Berry out of office. Berry is an ok person but he has not done the job he promised us.  Remember, our indecisions or wrong decisions will cost us well into the future.

Is There Even One Honest Person on the 5th Floor of APD?

Here is an open letter to the Eye. It details all the lies and SOP violations that were committed by APD’s Deputy Chief, Paul Feist. This Deputy Chief lied to the media when he was interview by KRQE Channel 13 which mean that he lied to you; the public. It’s no wonder Feist lies so much since he was raised by Ray Schultz. We have said it many times here on the Eye; corruption starts at the top and trickles its way down.

Good Evening Eye,

My name is Orlando Camacho, the former APD officer that you did a
story on regarding the shell casing that was returned to me by APD
Evidence and also KRQE did a story on KRQE (Read it HERE). I am
writing to you tonight because after I saw the KRQE story about Deputy Chief
Feist, I found out by APD releasing the casing to me, they
violated procedures and regulations regarding the handling of evidence
and I filed a complaint with the Independent Review Office.

Today I received the attached letter from the IRO stating that due to
the fact I retrieved the evidence in April of 2012 and filed my
complaint in November 2012 it was past the 90 days of the incident and
their office has no jurisdiction to conduct a further investigation
in the matter and inactivated my complaint without further
investigation. Also, in my complaint, I stated Deputy Chief Feist
lied in the KRQE interview stating the shell casing was released
as a result of a court order and should also be investigated. I
never had an attorney file any kind of injunction with the courts to
have the city release my items. Nor, did I file any sort of paperwork
on my own behalf with the courts for my items to be released.

The way I see it, by Feist lying, he violated several operating procedures:

1-04-4 W. Personnel shall truthfully answer all questions
specifically directed to them, and narrowly related to the scope of
employment and operations of the department. (Truthfulness)

1-04-1G Conduct unbecoming an officer or employee shall include:
1. That which could bring the department into disrepute; or

2. That which impairs the operation or efficiency of the department.

1-04-1 F. Personnel shall conduct themselves both on and
off-duty in such a manner as to reflect most favorably on the
department

1-02-2 D. Use of discretion by sworn personnel
during the performance of their law enforcement
duties.

1. When sworn employees of this department are faced with a
situation where discretion can be exercised, they must evaluate the
circumstances, consider the available resources, and rely on their
training, department policies, department procedures, statutory law
and supervision in making the appropriate decision.

2. In addition, within each situation, the appropriate
decision should be the least restrictive that still accomplishes the
intent of the law, is in accordance with department policy, and does
not compromise officers' safety.

These same operating procedures when violated by other officers,
especially 1-04-4W Truthfulness, is an offense that usually results in
termination or the officer having to resign instead of being
terminated. I'm not here to sound like a cry baby, the reason I'm
contacting you is because this is another clear example of the current
APD administration picking and choosing who gets disciplined and who
does not and it needs to be brought to the public’s attention. Please
feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you for your time and God Bless,

Orlando Camacho

This statement by Hammer (below) clears the way for every single officer to get an investigation quashed rather they are right or wrong. Here you go Police Union. The City deserves what they get…

Here are a few questions; is there ANYONE on the 5th Floor of APD that doesn’t lie constantly? If a high ranking officer can boldly lie why isn't it okay for every officer to lie? We Think the answer to the first question is; there is not one. The answer to the second question is "NO!" Lying is a bad thing; a thing Feist should have been FIRED for period. Feist is suppose to be setting the correct example for the rank and file. It is time to vote in a Mayor who can and will do the job. Berry needs to start counting down the days till his departure.

We Should All be Outraged!

Albuquerque resident, June Ortega, is accused of beating her baby (Nevaeh) to death. The name “Nevaeh” is heaven spelled backwards. Ortega is in custody for the crime. Ortega looked very refreshed and unconcerned when she appeared for arraignment in Metro Court. After losing her baby, Ortega did not seem concerned about the death or the pending charges. We know some “Liberal Bleeding Heart” out there is going to write in and state that Ortega is in shock and poor thing... We say, “DAMN YOU!” How do you think that innocent baby who has been repeatedly beaten felt?

SIDE BAR

The case has spawned public outrage. According to a Channel 4 News anchor, “The case has shaken up…even the most veteran law enforcement.” The next footage shown is of a very young girl from APD. Here is a question; where is this zit-faced kid a veteran? KOB 4 is consistently presenting information that is skewed and misrepresentative of the real facts. We thought Channel 7 was partnered with the Albuquerque Journal. It is obvious Channel 4 is sensationalizing things to gain ratings. This is a new low even for Channel 4.

END SIDE BAR

The City keeps running into case after case where a baby or small child has been severely injured or killed by a parent or guardian. Why? Is it a parenting issue? Are these people using drugs? What is the core issue(s) surrounding this demonic behavior? Why this mayor and chief haven’t done anything to research the problem, take appropriate action and save these children is a mystery.

Something needs to change. If a person is found guilty of killing a child; it should be an automatic death sentence. There is not EVER an acceptable reason for hurting a child. Think about it, why did our society conduct public hangings back in the day? Why does the Mexican Drug Cartel hang people in public places like off bridges? It sends a clear message that certain behavior(s) are not acceptable and will not be tolerated.

Note: We DO NOT condone the Mexican Drug Cartel; they were used as an example to prove a point.

We as a society will do whatever it takes to protect property and financial vestments but our greatest treasures are our kids. Yet, we all say, “What that person did is awful; they should die for what they’ve done!” and we go about our business. Shame on us for not demanding more from our public servants and elected officials and accepting that they do nothing.

For every child that is injured or killed and nothing is done about it by the mayor and/or the chief; we find they are just as guilty of hurting that child as are the offender. We desperately need a new mayor and chief who will serve the people and not be self-serving.
