The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. The Almighty has Fallen - Out of the Race

There's good news and bad news this Friday... the good news is that there's now no chance (as if there were much of a chance in the first place) that Marty will get the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate; which also means he will not replace Pete Domenici in the Senate. The bad news is that he will have the next two years to continue pillaging the City of Albuquerque.

The Albuquerque Journal and the rest of the media are all trying to be the first to tell you that Marty is out and that Tom Udall has his full support. (Guess that scam-era moratorium veto just became a sure thing.) All this despite the fact that he's leading in this week's Eye Poll 52% to 48%. Of course in true Marty fashion he sent out a blast email to the Martycrat faithful asking them to head over to Eye On Albuquerque and vote for him in our little unscientific poll.
Hello Everyone,

A local blog here in Albuquerque has a poll online asking, "Who do you favor in the Democratic Primary?" I believe over the last 2 years of my third term as Mayor we have made tremendous strides in Albuquerque by becoming green, being a business friendly city, and building out all our amenities. I would like to bring the strong leadership that I have brought to Albuquerque to the U.S. Senate.

Today, I am asking you to spend 30 seconds by clicking here and voting for me, Martin Chavez. Thank you so much in advance.

If there is anything I can do for you in the future please feel free to contact my campaign office at 830-2008.

Thanks,

Marty
We're all for getting out the vote, but for an Internet poll?! Sheesh! Perhaps the Martycrats figured out that there's no way to push the primary. More importantly, The Almighty One was probably having a hard time finding enough support to make it past the pre-primary convention with its mandatory 20%.

"While I deeply appreciate all the support I have received, it has become very clear to me that Democrats should not be divided in the upcoming election. It is crucial to the future of New Mexico and this country that a Democrat become the next U.S. Senator. A hotly contested primary, as this one certainly could be, would likely dramatically weaken the Democratic nominee and place the general election in jeopardy."
- Martin Chavez
Senate Race eMail Announcement
Rrrrriiiiiight! Marty has been bashing Udall since before Udall even announced to announce to announce. We're having a hard time believing that he suddenly has put the good of the Democratic party before his personal ambitions.

The next question is will Marty bounce back to a gubernatorial run, over to a Congressional run, or challenge the city charter in order to make him mayor for life (kind' a like another Chavez recently - Hugo).

There's no doubt that today The Almighty has fallen. The only remaining questions are how far and what kind of vengeance he will mete out while serving out the rest of his term.

NOW HE WILL DO (f_ _K) EVERYONE THAT CROSSES HIS PATH WITH A VENGENCE. HE'S PISSED OFF AND HE WILL SHUVE THESE CAMERAS AND THE CROOKED COURT HE RUNS STRAIGHT UP OUR ASSES. HE CAN SAVE HIMSELF HOWEVER AND GET RID OF THE FOULS THAT ARE MAKING HIM LOOK BAD, LIKE THE BUNCH ON THE 5TH FLOOR.

While I'm sad to see him out of the Senate race I'm pleased that he will continue to be our Mayor for another 2 years. There is a silver lining behind each dark cloud. Good luck to you Marty, I will support you which ever race you decide on in the future !

I heard that Marty did not have the support of the democratic party! In fact, he has turned his back on them so many times, that they want nothing to do with him! We also know how Washington Democrats feel about you! They don't!

He tried running his senate race as one of Albuquerque's own, born and raised here and the local guy.

What a joke, considering all the staff that he personally appointed are from out of state, so much for Marty helping the local people.

Well, it's pay back Marty. Politically you're done! No matter what position you run for, you will not win! Your people know this, as do you!

Two years left and will see ya!

Marty pulled out because of the appointment of Brad Winter as City Council President, got it first hand. He didn;t want to risk handing him the Mayor's throne.

He feels Governor is within reach.

Does anybody know what Marty wants to be when he grows up ?

Marty is scared of losing a race. He knows that if he loses, he's done in politics!

Marty may try to take on Darren, but he will not win!

He may try to take on Denish, but he will lose here as well!

Plus, he looks like he can't make up his mind....

Marty, you have screwed over too many people. Your days of terror are almost over. Enjoy the remaining two years you have left, because the fat lady has sung. In your case, your political future is over!

I think you know attempting to run for a third term as mayor would be a failed run as well!

You did it to yourself, quit screwing over people you arrogant little troll........

Smarty was hoping that he could have everything lined up, so his buddy, Councilor Sanchez, would take control over the council and take over city government as well.

Sorry Smarty, no cigar! The citizens of Albuquerque are on to you.

Thank you Councilor Winter for putting an end to Smarty's grand plan!

WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO ALL THE MONEY THAT MAYOR MARTY RAISED FOR HIS SENATE RUN??????

WILL HE GIVE IT BACK TO THOSE THAT DONATED IT. I'LL BET HE KEEPS IT!

THE MEDIA NEEDS TO WATCH HOW MARTY SPENDS IT, MAKE SURE HE DOES IT LEGALLY, AS MAYOR MARTY HAS DONE SOME SHADY STUFF WITH DONATIONS IN THE PAST!

Good riddance, what a loser

Run Marty, Run! It's over!

Marty Chavez could not be elected dog catcher and he knows it! That's why he dropped out of the senate race.

Chavez' own polls showed that he had no chance in hell against Udall!

Chavez, really at this point, can't beat anyone and his small campaign group knows this!

He's running, like he did last night when the news tried to interview him in old town, he took off.

What, no press conference Marty, to tell N.M. you're dropping out of the race. You always have a press conference for everything!

Coward Chavez used a website to drop out!

Govenor??? Does he realize he is HATED througout New Mexico and barely tolerable in Albuquerque. He might have a slim chance for Congress.

I don't think he can do anything this election cycle. He say's it was to bring unity to the democratic party. Nobody believes that. If he runs for Congress he won't get the primary. Henrich has that wrapped, Chavez will be seen as a quitter and not a person (not man) of his word.

In earlier statements he said he didn't care if Udall came in the race he would stay in it. More lies. At least he is consistent

MARTY, you know what cost you the senate race? It was your poor choice of city directors and a CAO!

ALL THE BAD PRESS!

First and foremost, you selected Nick Bakas. This was the absolute worst choice you could have made. Several people you trust, warned you about this lazy crooked guy, but you chose him anyhow.

Bakas always had city hall in the MEDIA on something negitive. In fact, I don't think Bakas did anything positive. The guy was always making devasting choices that hurt you in the media!

Sure you moved Bakas, but it was a little too late! The damage was done.

Next, was Gil Gallegos, we all know the story here, again Bakas supported Gallegos's illegal actions and covered them up!

Lets not forget to mention all the bad deputy chiefs Bakas hired, knowning full well their horrific back grounds! You know what happened with these guys! Why do you think Schultz hired them all back, because they can't find jobs in the private sector. They have all been black balled.

Then, you have Schultz who was picked again by Bakas and Debuck.

Schultz is in it for himself and does not care about his officers! This has lead to APD having very serious morale problems, as well as recruiting issues.

However, Schultz and his staff do not care! They are just in it for the money, not the improvement of APD. It two years they will all retire and move out of state!

There are others, but these clowns were way to obivious not to mention..

This core group has given you so much bad press, I don't think you can ever recover!

What Mayor Chavez will do now is put out polls and conduct studies/surveys to see if he can beat any of the other candidates running for the various offices.

What Chavez will find, is that he is not a viable choice/candidate for any of them!

Chavez can't beat Darren White or Denish and he knows this.

So, Chavez will hold back and try to run for Mayor for a third term.

However, Mayor Chavez will find that dispite the passage of time, he will still be looked at in a negative light, for all the bad choices he has made during his past two terms.

Just maybe, if Chavez was to fix the APD problem he might come out ok over time!

Three up. How lame are you? You are really out of touch. "pleased he will be our Mayor for another two years"(?)
Please,If you only knew what's really going on. You must live in a shell or beholdin' to him some how.
You sound like that slob, kiss ass, Don C, (Take a bath, loose 50 Lbs) or the Wicked Witch from the North( D-4)( Loose the Halloween outfit, park your broom)Sandra R.

Wonder if anyone is going to spank him for sending out that polling email on city time?

Anonymous said...

Maybe now there will be some action against the real bad apples. Captain "I am never at work Miranda", and Brad "Oh, by the way APS found $1.2 million Dollars", and "I will vote anti-republician, just to screw marty and my district".

Marty's been too powerful for too long -- time to bring him down, people....what are we all waiting for? Now's the perfect time to go after him...

I contacted all local TV stations to see who would look into the four councilors "protest dinner" @ Capos to see if it was expensed to taxpayers. Only one who positively responded: Jeremy Jojola @KOBTV. He said he will request those councilors' expense accounts @ end of year.

Let's ask Jojola to look into if the campaign funds Marty raised will be returned or where those funds have gone....let's ask Jojoal to look into Marty's request for city employees to vote in favor of him in the Eye's poll on city time and on city computers....(which is one of Marty's pet peeves I know that for sure). There's likely other discretions we can have looked into also.

Anonymous said...

while the red light scameras certainly contributed to tiny marty's overall unfavorables, at the end of the day he's a small-time nobody without connections, cash or wide support beyond whichever entourage happens to be driving him around the "Q" (what a stupid branding idea btw) He was told to get out of the race - the homeless guy on the I-25/montgomery exit clears mome than a marty fundraiser. Though we now have the comedy of the liberal idot mr comb-over udall to occupy us until until Heather or Steve spank him, it was sure fun watching the tiny taco's demise as senatorial hopeful.... perhaps some indictments for the little one will move the fun meter a bit

Anonymous said...

you guys really need to freakin grow up. Theres more to life in ABQ then Marty. I do not agree with all he does as a Mayor but the quality of life issues (zoo, bio park, libraries) are better then Shultz or Baca ever did for this city. Now we will get what we asked for, a liberal Udall who does not give a crap about LEO issues. Great!!!!

Anonymous said...

Last post, Hey bonehead, Marty never even had a chace against Udall. So your wasting your breath.

Go kiss ass next Monaday, mMarty is going to need it!

Two more years and Marty and crew will begone forever!

Marty Chavez' political career is over!

Anonymous said...

Marty could give a shit about LEO. Marty is just in it for Marty Chavez. Where have you been for the last 6 years!

LEO has gone way down under Marty!

Anonymous said...

Mayor Chavez, all the issues with the APD killed your chances of becoming a US Senator!

You need to take advise from the citizens that elected you, clean that place up!

The administration you have there is out of control!

If you plan to have any future political aspirations, take our advise.

Good luck

Mayor, your police dept does have some serious issues that you must deal with.

Maybe now that you have some time, you can address those issues.

Yeah, taller than 4'5"

APD hierarchy is a Good 'Ole Boy" cesspool, where women are entertainment and the DCs main job is covering it up.
Ultimately, it is this Department and the unqualified bafoons running it, that is Marty's demize.
Take it from a civilian, this is where your biggest problem lies.

Anonymous said...

Mayor, clean your house before you run for any other position!

You just have way too much bad press in you depts!

Anonymous said...

Mayor, last time your police dept had a crisis you said heads would roll. Well, only Gallegos' head rolled, when there were others that should have certainly rolled with him(deputy chiefs).

You again, repeatly stated that the police would have 1100 officers by Jan 2008 or heads would roll. We all know there is no chance of that happening, as there are way too many retirements this year due to very low morale and recruiting is slow.

So, how many heads will roll this time, for yet another EMPTY PROMISE you made?

Will it be a repeat and back stepping, like that of the Gallegos administration.

Please, don't let the police lie about the numbers, it's embarrassing for the city, as it's so obvious!

Not to mention, it creates bad press for you, and is a poor reflection on your administration!

Have the police be honest for once!
