The Albuquerque Police Department under the direction and authority of R.J. Berry launched a disarmament program. The City announced the program with Berry proclaiming, “I don’t have a vote in Congress, but this is one very meaningful program that I can implement as a Mayor to protect our children and our community…” Interesting enough, Berry is quietly disarming the citizen all in the name of “safety.”
Berry stated in part, “I don’t have a vote in Congress…” does this mean Berry would be pushing and VOTING for disarmament of the public like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid? Why would he make such an outrageous statement unless he is against the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America? This type of activity can only be viewed as communism. Is this why Berry has kept his Nazi (Schultz) to help him do his dirty deeds? This may also explain why Berry has forced Albuquerque to lose so many jobs. Keeping the people poor is a well-known method of suppressing the people and keeping them controllable.
If Berry wants to hold office in
Congress, he is in the wrong race. The
Mayoral race is for and about the people of Albuquerque. This explains why Berry has made so many bad decisions
for Albuquerque.
In our opinion Berry is
two-faced. His teams of signature
gatherers were at a TEA Party meeting this past week asking people to sign a
petition in-order to place Berry on the ballot.
The people there stated Berry was a gun supporter but yet he is trying
to disarm Albuquerque. The APD Gun
Disposal Program has collected hundreds and hundreds of guns from the citizens
with LESS THAN ONE PERCENT of those guns being linked to any type of crime. This
program has been a complete failure other than Berry’s “ABQ the Plan” to disarm
the law abiding citizens through trickery.
The hundred thousand (plus) dollars would have been better off as a
reward in the murders of the Westside multiple homicides which are still
unsolved or spent on a job training for our unemployed in the City.
Being
dis-honest by act or omission is still being dis-honest.
Berry
has no ethics and is not an honorable person.
The clear choice for
Mayor is Paul Heh.
WE NEED
JOBS/CAREERS FOR THE CITIZENS OF ALBUQUERQUE; NOT BERRY’S “ABQ THE PLAN.”

I want to know why property crimes to Berry are the priority..what about violent crimes murder & rapes. He has never addressed the West Mesa murders...the worst crimes commited against women in this city. His focus seems to be the wealthy and how crime affects them...doesnt want to dirty himself advocating for common citizens. He looks down his nose at us city workers...the lowly servants that make him look good...if he only knew how much we detest him!
When a citizen turns in a weapon on one of the APD weapon disposal dates, is he/she getting compensated like the folks that got gift cards from BCSO or Santa Fe Police??? I hadn't heard that APD was giving anything to anyone that turns in a weapon...

Evidence: Gun buybacks are ineffective as generally implemented.
1. The buybacks are too small to have an impact.
2. The guns turned in are at low risk of ever being used in a crime.
3. Replacement guns are easily acquired. Unless these three points are overcome, a gun buyback cannot be effective.
He doesn't seem to appear to be the Nice guy, boy scout everyone thought he was. But then again, those of who knew, that by keeping Darren and Ray next to him like two pit bulls, there was something wrong. Can anyone say blackmail, political payback? Come know, did Albuquerque elect a guy that pretended to be his own man or were we all fooled and elected just a puppet to the underbelly world of Darren White and Commandant Ray Schultz? Just who is Richard J Berry? Where did he come from? Was he ever in the construction business or was he just a handy man, not even capable of reading a blue print. Like the leadership we now have in Washington, he appears to be yet another fraud, an imposter. If he really was a blue collar construction worker, instead of a foreman for his in-laws, then why then does he look down on us city workers. he ain't one of us; never was, never wore any callouses on his hands.
Berry has ZERO clue about police administration, police practices, or police theory. His and Schultzies desire for gadgets and sill little numbers for property crime is obvious but does nothing. Good point regarding the crimes against women in this shithole town. For how long were 23rs talking about fucked up shit along central. Schultz could care less then and cares less now.
Berry and Schultz should step down. This investigation will likely be similar to what is happening with the Catholic church. Once the wheels begin to turn the dirt gets kicked up and everything is revealed. Or are your egoes so huge that you think you're beyond reproach? It's coming ...you can run (retire) but you can't hide ...
Ditto. Marty wasn't much on Police administration either, but at least when he saw wrong, he stepped in the ring and did something about it. This lilly pad ain't gonna do shit or get his hands dirty. Ironically, the dirt will eventually gravitate to him and that, will be the demise of Richard j Berry.
Ps. Don't paint a moustach like Hitler on Berry. The difference; Hitler had balls.
He is the mayor who wasn't. I find him to be a complete bafoon who exhibits a stilted awkward manner in speaking publicly. He is an ineffective leader, and it is obvious that he has "flat affect " which is an indicator of mental illness. He seems uncomfortable speaking and uncomfortable in his skin. He has a problematic case of major "disconnect " with the rank & file cops and city workers ..not the upper managers or brass ....the ppl who get their hands dirty every day, who do the heavy lifting, who do the work their supervisors are supposed to be doing ...he has no idea how hard we work. He doesn't give a shit ...where the freak did this alien life form come from!?
At7:27....he came from Mcclesky's ass.
@ 3:57...if Marty wasn't any better...why did you guys cover up his 10-15 issues?
Obviously you don't do the same for the Darin White's and RJB's of the world...why Marty?
11:20,
Go ask schultz that question because an officer would not be able to hide that shit. I believe it was an officer that exposed it so why dont you take your propaganda mind bending bullshit somewhere else. The eye has always been against corruption. Read the archives. You are not going to turn people against it. The facts are the facts.
1120....you are a tool....the Eye has been all over Marty like a wet fucken blanket. Nice try. And, oh by the way Darren White, Ray Schultz, Rob Perry, David Tourek are still part of the same white boy I do know wrong club. Seems like Mcclesky is the ring leader of that retarded circus....
Good job on this post, Eye!
The BCSO "buy-back" scheme isn't a buyback at all, considering that the weapons turned in to BCSO weren't obtained from Bernalillo County in the first place. You can't buy back something that you never owned in the first place.
What the BCSO / APD turn-in program truly amounts to is a way for Isaac Benton, Debbie O'Malley to "get guns off the streets," which is code-speak from the victim disarmament crowd for getting guns away from private citizens.
From what I've seen, APD isn't offering a penny in compensation, but Benton wanted to appropriate $25K for the BCSO program, in addition to whatever the County is spending.
One of my Libertarian Party guys said that he went to the February 19 ABQ Tea Party meeting, and Sheriff Dan Houston addressed the meeting about this "buyback" scheme. Houston was reported to be all in favor of letting other private citizens outbid the BCSO, but on the second occasion (Feb. 23), those citizens were told that they weren't allowed into the parking lot by deputies present, specifically one Aaron Williamson.
