FACT: According to the Albuquerque Journal, they paint a different picture:
During the Chavez Administration crime steadily went down. During the Berry Administration it has STEADILY GONE UP!
According to Berry; the economy is doing great and very robust.
FACT: According to the Albuquerque Business Journal, they paint a different picture:
This is one of Berry's top supports and even they know he a LIAR.
Below is an unsolicited letter that was sent to Joe Monahan's blog but Monahan refused to post. The fact are just that...
Joe,
I own several dozen apartments in the SE part of Albuquerque and was a solid supporter of RJ Berry when he ran for the mayor's office in 2009. I think we all were feeling a little "Marty Fatigue" at the time and Berry seemed like a nice enough fellow.
But from almost from as soon as he took office, there has been just something just off about the city. I can't get police to respond to abandoned cars/problems in my apartment's neighborhood when I could before and even knew the names of the officers that would probably come out. I can't get the city to respond to litter and weed concerns. I can't get the city to repair parts of the road near my apartments. And when I pitched a fit they responded by wanting to inspect my apartments and told some of my tenants they could move elsewhere. My apartments are not war-zone apartments, I work on them with my own hands and they are in great condition. In short, since Berry moved into office, the city has dropped many services and has become, in my experience, very unfriendly to interact with. I also don't believe we've moved forward economically, my rents have stayed the same more or less for the past three years, while all my expenses have gone up, and I've had more breakins than ever before.
I met Paul Heh at a neighborhood association meeting this summer, and while I know he's a bit rough around the edges, what I like about him is that he's sincere, direct, and clearly "gets it." I like the idea of somebody who has been a police sergeant bringing a burst of fresh air to a city that, let's face it, is getting left behind by the country. As a cop he knows how to make decisions and has the luxury of decades of experience dealing with bad people....a perfect skill set for what Albuquerque needs in their next mayor! I happily voted for Paul in early voting because we need the change, I believe Paul has the ability to do it, and I know I am not any better than I was four years ago.
Thanks,

VOTE THE BIG LIAR BERRY
OUT OF OFFICE!

The Journal reported to day that early voting is around 20,000 double the amount of last Mayor election. Berry is getting nervous because the City Clerk has decided to make it harder to turn in absentee ballots. She stated that voters can't turn them in at the voting centers as in the other elections. They have drive downtown, and turn them in at her office on election day. Berry was hoping for a voter low turn out to win this election. Let's kick Berry out on Tuesday!
I'm going to the rally for the bus drivers, because I'm tired of seeing the Jerry Springer show on the city buses.
I tell ya, this town is a freakin joke when it comes to news and reporters.
People like Monahan bitch and whine about nothing being covered and how they are the only ones doing thing. Then when somebody steps up and calls it like it is like PAUL HEH has, they get sidelined. He Joe, here's a newsflash for you pal, it ain't about you. Maybe you're afraid that if Paul actually gets in he might fix this shithole and then what would have to report about?
Your bias towards YOURSELF could not be any more fucken obvious. And you're just like that rag of a paper the AbqUrinal. Could you imagine the endless squawking that would be going on if there were a Democrat mayor in office. Every day it would be scrutiny of what about this? what about that? how come you won't answer this? once again the mayor refuses to answer, why?
And you know what Joe, I patrol the area where you live, you know the hirise. So when New Year's comes around again and you're whining about the endless shots being fired in the air over and over, don't worry about it. You can keep the pillow over your head that has all too obviously become attached to you.
Way to call it like it is Dave F. As far as Joe M, he's just as pathetic as Tom Lange and Ken Walz. Bunch on snobby shitbags who couldn't hold a light to what Paul Heh has done in his career as a cop, nevermind in his run for mayor.
Another voter and COP for Heh!
Yay! We all need to go to AFSCME rally for bus drivers! Opportunity also to rally to get Berry THE FREAK OUT OF OFFICE!
When and where is the bus driver rally?
We don't have journalism in this it's propaganda machine like the Soviets had to protect the crooks.

I think the abortion issue, while not THAT important to most was a great snapshot of the candidates.
Mr. Heh gave a clear opinion with concise points, and then backed it with honest talk and the correct response in that it is not an issue that will be handled locally.
Mr. Dinelli completely pandered to his base, and gave the typical liberal I'm going to save the world campaign rhetoric. Barf.
Mr. Berry.....lol, how about that snaphot? Total sleaze-ball.
Heh is the only option, even if he isn't likely to be "an" option, winning-wise.
7:37. Next they'll be trying to pass legislation forcing us to wear an Iron Maiden!
