The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Berry Resigns House Seat

Mayor-elect R.J. Berry has decided that a divided official cannot function. The Albuquerque Journal is reporting that Berry had made the decision to step down from his District 20 seat in the New Mexico Legislature.
"It has been my great honor and privilege to represent my district in the Legislature during these past two terms. With the transition of my administration just getting underway, it is imperative that I give it my full attention. The citizens of my district deserve a full-time legislator representing their needs in Santa Fe and the people of Albuquerque deserve a mayor-elect who is working full-time to facilitate a smooth transition at City Hall," Berry said in the release.
We really couldn't agree more... The fact of the matter is that setting up a new city government is not an insignificant task. And with the current $700 MILLION state budget crisis, serving in the state legislature is going to require the full attention of every elected official. Mayor-elect Berry is wise to realize the limitations and the requirements of his new job and act to make sure that his District 20 constituents are properly represented.

Now the question of who will represent District 20 falls to the Bernalillo County Commission. The only question is whether or not the Commission will be able to fill the seat before Saturday's special session start.

Well good luck new Mayor. From all the posting I've read, you will have your hands full. I would start with mental illness treatment for all city employees. THEY NEED IT!

The Journal reported that City Councilor Sally Mayer had been a decent, hardworking, fun-loving and
although poor could identify with the working class. Sally Mayer is a dreamer. A person that holds an Office and perhaps needs to be recommended to fill RJ Berry's House District 20 seat. RJ Berry a newcomer to politics had just gained the seat in 2007 before being elected to office of the Mayor of Albuquerque.

Sally Mayer was criticized for failure to be wealthy and have a "trust fund." Sally Mayer received kudos from the Journal and probably would have been reelcted to office had she decided to run again. As a result of the public's acknowledgement that City Council positions pay virtually nothing.... and the sympathy given to City Council Mayer during her time of like so many other people unable to meet basic minimum payments of credit cards, the voters of Albuquerque finally decided to vote for a pay increase for City Council Members.

Sally Mayer won over the hearts of District 7, yet being Republican and facing off with a fellow Republican decided to forego another round of being a City Councilor with virtually no pay.

Perhaps, Sally Mayer could be the replacement for RJ Berry in House District 20.

A female in House District 20 probably would be a first.

Here's what I like about City Couniclor Sally Mayer.

First, though poor she did not become ethically at odds.

Second, highly praised for her work.

Third, the public realizes her value as a City Councilor even though poor, Sally Mayer managed herself well.

Fourth, Sally Mayer identified with all walks of life. Remember, she represents a kind of quality that can be helpful towards society.

Finally, Sally Mayer has experience and knows people well.

Email the five Bernalillo County Commissioners to suggest Sally Mayer as replacement for RJ Berry in House District 20.

Mr Mayor, Chief Schultz brought down Mayor Cahvez. Don't let him bring you down. get rid of him and his cronies.

Uh - news flash! Sally Mayer is moving to Chicago to be near her family. That would be Illinois - not New Mexico.

Sorry folks, Sally Mayer is moving to Chicago.

JHC !
Who got elected here, Darren White or RJ Berry. You would think that with all the weasely deals Darren's been making over the weekend ( while RJ was gone) that he is running the show.
It will be business as usual if Darren is not reigned in. Decisions about personell changes at APD with Darren in charge, will leave everyone in Shock.
You might as well accept the fact that Darren will be the one apponting all of his own cronies, including a seat at the table for good 'ole boy Ray.

Yeah she is moving to Chicago. That's old news, remember that is why she dropped out of the council race. Also George Bush is no longer president and Micheal Jackson died.

If Darren has any input then I have lost my faith and feel that I wasted my vote on Berry. Darren is a self serving person with a tight connection to Ray Schultz. Darren acts as if he is a king maker! Also, just a little advice Berry, stay away from the snake pit (Capos), Rob Smith thought Dan was his best friend. You should hear the crap he has been saying about Rob! 80% percent of all rumors on this department originate there.

Sally Mayer is the same woman who managed to run up $6,000 debt at TARGET! You want her in the Legislature? What da Hell?

Where's 'Nasty Man'?

It's official, Darren White will be the new City Public Safety Guru for Berry.

Looks like his buddy Ray Ray may stay as Chief.

Darren took Dinelli's job! Hold on to your ass boys, the turd has left the SO!

Anonymous said...

Sheriff White, please do not leave Chief Schultz as our Chief! We have faith that you will take care of us......

The Nasty man is out looking for another job in the private sector. I heard he was interviewing for Bode Aviation. Now, Nick "nasty" Bakas wants to work out a deal with Bode Aviation.

I think he just wanted Martin Chavez to get wind of that, so that Martin would help Nick find another job in the private sector.

The FBI is also interested, I heard in what Nick "nasty" Bakas deal is with Bode Aviation.

APD, AVIATION, OPEN SPACE, AND APS NEED TO BE ONE WHOLE POLICE DEPARTMENT!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

APD does not need an outside Chief, they don't work! It's bad enough we had to bring on Aviation for Nick Bakas. We don't want Katz as a Chief. We have plenty of talent within.

Is Schultz really staying on? Lots of PO'ed 34s out there....

I heard FBI is looking forward to investigating Nick "nasty" Bakas on related extortion charges with Bode Aviation right along with Martin Chavez.

sally mayer is nothing but a whore. she came back to abq claiming she missed her "home". she was rallying for berry on voter night at the election party, she was invisible until then. if marty had been ahead, she would have been at his party, saying the same song and dance

Anonymous said...

No, APD, Aviation, and APS DO NOT need to be one whole department. APS needs to take over all SRO functions and Aviation needs to be left alone.

Anonymous said...

OK, let's get something straight about sally mayer. A few comments up she is referred to as a w_ _re.
referrinng to her invisability throughout Berry's campaign.
To set the record straight she at least had the stones to endorse RJ Berry in the very beginning, which is more than i can say for the real whores that endorsed him at the last minute after they new Marty was no longer useful.
You know who you are. When all is said and done and have no jobs you'll not have what matters most ;FRIENDS

Give me a break. FRIENDS or FIENDS? Let's not forget that nobody stepped up to offer Sally Mayer a job position. Look, when people can't get jobs because of ethically not open to due to conflicts with city government, then most people would begin their own business. For example, beginning your own hat shop where you buy old hats from Thrift Stores, Goodwill, etc... and sew new designs etc.... Also, purses and blouses. It just takes work that's all. City government can make people emotionally exhausted. I don't know about you, but I think lots of people are suffering from post election spin doctor syndrome. That's when you just want to wake up in the morning check the politcal blogs and then type really fast.

Mayor Berry, please pick a chief from our own. We have plenty of talent that can take on the role of chief.
