The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. Albuquerque Journal Editorial Board Promotes Incompetence

In the Albuquerque Journal Editorial Section was a posting (read it here) by the Albuquerque Journal Editorial Board. The Eye has known this Board to say outlandish rubbish; this past week, the Board beat their own rubbish record stating, “APD Needs One Chief; Schultz Right for Job.” Perhaps the City needs to send the tab of over $6,000,000.00 in liability that Schultz has cost the tax payers. Perhaps if the Board was footing the bill they would be “singing a different song.”

If the Board wants to play semantic; they could start by just paying the $862,000.00 awarded to former APD Officer Sam Costales. This huge award was granted after Schultz was convicted in the United States Federal District Court of retaliation/civil rights violations. We want to remind the Board that Schultz started harassing and retaliating against Costales after former Sheriff Darren White gave the order to attack Costales like a dog foaming at the mouth. Once Schultz was ordered to “Sic,” he went after Costales. How does anybody in this City feel comfortable knowing that the Chief committed civil rights violations against one of his own; what value does he place on you and Eye?

The article praised Schultz for responding to the City’s most recent police shooting. The article stated, “This week, when an Albuquerque police officer shot and killed a career criminal armed with a loaded AK-47, Chief Ray Schultz showed why he is the right man for that job.” Really? So if “Porky Pig” or Geraldine Amato showed up, they would make a great chief too; right? The ridicules statements made by this Board are asinine. Of course at this point either one would make a better chief than Schultz. Where is Taco Bell TJ when you need him? I am sure he was out there too.

What the Board failed to mention is CHIEF SCHULTZ provided all the visual props to teach the City’s criminal element how to easily kill an officer wearing a bullet proof vest. Schultz should be terminated for this irresponsible action. This was beyond words for the damage that he personally has now done by this free classroom training for criminals. Way to go Schultz…

The article also discusses the PERF Report. The article states, “When the national Police Executive Research Forum investigated the increase in officer-involved shootings and made 40 recommendations, Schultz implemented 39 and added 19 of his own.” The article fails to speak about the conflict of interest; Schultz is an active member of PERF.

The Board also discusses how Schultz was quick to create a policy concerning social media. Once again, Ray’s cheerleaders failed to mention Schultz a few months prior was “tweeting” and admonishing our district court judges over his perception of the job they were performing. Schultz stated in a memo, “the conduct of individual officers can impact the reputation and integrity of this department and all officers and civilian personnel. It is essential that the public have absolute trust and respect for the Albuquerque Police Department and the men and women who serve in it. … The department is committed to a safe, secure community where the rights, history and culture of each citizen is valued and respected. The department will accept nothing less.” His policy is good for the rest but not good for him. Schultz should “practice what you preaches” and quite being a hypocrite.

The Board claims, “Schultz’s comments show he understands APD officers are held to a higher standard, that they must walk their law-abiding talk, that the public looks to his men and women, who put their lives on the line every day, to set an example.”

“They must walk their law-abiding talk…” Really? Schultz violates civil rights and walks without any consequences; Schultz violated his own social medial policy and walks without any consequences; Schultz provides training to criminals on how to kill officer wearing bullet proof vest, we anticipate Schultz will walk on this one too.

The biggest problem and weakness in APD is Schultz. “Set the example” Schultz, it is time for you to go!

The American political system is in decay. Thousands of politicians around the country are making a mockery and a killing with their wicked ways. Darren White is the poster boy for what ills this society. Sickening , repulsive individual who con-ed his way to the upper rung of the latter stepping on the fingers of those who helped him. One despicable human, that's for sure. How can you possibly live here?

Anonymous said...

Schultz, you must be so proud! I mean, here you have the entire city hating your guts. First time in history one human being has been able to unite the thugs with the cops....they both hate you, just for different reasons.

Then, you have a daughter who is old enough to be in the pd, doesn't want to be in the pd, but yet is in the PSA program...for what? I mean, It was my understanding that if you had a DUI that there was a standard time you had to wait before you could be a PSA or a cop? Oh wait, not your kid, right? You are one pathetic little man.

Do all of us at the pd a favor..LEAVE ALREADY!

How many things has Ray "fixed" for members of the editorial board?

This could be over if all those who have the dirt came forward or the DOJ explained to people if they are hiding wrongdoing information they too will be held accountable for obstruction of justice. Let's just see how honorable people really are. DOJ start with TJ, bet under pressure he will explode.

Dispite all the darkness surrounding A.P.D. there is still a ray of sunshine. That ray of sunshine is the rank and file officers of A.P.D.. The rank and file still go to work each day putting their life on the line everytime they put that uniform on to protect this City. The rank and file are the thin blue line between a safe City and a total criminal take over. Think about it, where would we be if they just gave up ? I know them. They will never give up. HOLD THE LINE-----NEVER CROSS IT.

What you omitted from your article is that Officer Costales told on BCSO officers who used excessive force on Al Unser. You also forgot to mention the SOP that states one officer can not write in their report about the dirty deeds of another officer. That SOP was supposed to be re-written. Was it? Schultz defends cops turning a blind eye to their fellow officers abusive ways. It's no wonder APD is in the shape it's in. The article in the journal praised Schultz up and down. Could it be the money APD pays to put the DWI and other property crime people in the newspaper. How much does the journal make off that. The pages no one reads or cares about. Do you really think career criminals care if you put their mugshot in the paper.

Don't recall any media coverage or seeing Schultz' daughters' picture in the journal. What is her name, so I can look her up in court documents. I always research the information before I believe what is written. Anyone????????

That was REALLY irresponsible of Schultz to go on TV and tell every criminal out there which bullets to buy. What was he thinking? He just jeopardized every APD officer on the streets. What a fool. All to make himself look good on camera, now that he isn't competing with Darren for ugly mug time. Disgusting!

It's time to initiate VALKYRIE!

Move over RJ, the overthrow of your seedy, corrupt regime is about to begin.

Anonymous said...

A coup is brewing. The rank and file is in fact Valkyrie and they must seize control and arrest the upper management . Take over with a new breed of officers at top management that can drain the swamp of the likes of Darren White and the rest of the vermin that occupy the fifth floor, including the little snitch TJ.

DOJ, TJ has the keys to all of the filthy little secrets and dirt on them and their disciples.
Albuquerque's Manson family.

$80,000 a year.
You'll soon realize that it wasn't worth it. You could have and were on the road to a great career as a journalist.
Too bad.
Maybe you can beg for your job back at the Journal, but don't be surprised if you have to start at the bottom again; AS A PAPERBOY !

OR- maybe your 'Boss Hog' Darren can get you in at the State Fair, cleaning out the stables. Hey, it's a good gig, and all you can eat from the vendors, accept the Asian booths,. " No want TJ at Chicken Bowl"

MR. BERRY IS GETTING A SURPRISE VISIT THIS WEEK.

Anonymous said...

The Journal never did answer the big question, why is Schultz the man to fix APD when he was the one who screwed it up?

Anonymous said...

Visit? Did the rabbit die?

Anonymous said...

Berry, Schultz and Trudy Do bag are on their way out. Shape up Winter or Tallman will boot you too.

Valkyrie failed.

Ray's news conference was a desperate attempt by a desperate person to keep their job.

Anonymous said...

I don't know about the rest of you in public safety, but me and the guys at my fire station all cancelled our journal subscriptions and got our families to do the same. I wouldn't use that rag to potty train my dog. Don't pay money to the Mayor's Mouthpiece! Boycott the Journal.

Anonymous said...

So, Valkyrie failed. What's your point?

Anonymous said...

What news conference? Anything at the city council meeting?

Anonymous said...

BOYCOOT NATE

Anonymous said...

Time for all to boycott the Alb Journal, maybe they will have to shut their doors just like the Tribune, if they loose enough revenue.

Anonymous said...

The point about Valkyrie, you keep referring to a failed operation. If you want to see change at APD then reference to events that were successful.

As far as boycotting the Journal, you certainly can, it is your right. But isn't it better to have civil discourse and honest debate?

To try to shut down people just because they disagree is not what we do. We (Americans) invite and promote honest discourse and discussion. Without it we are no better than people who shut down honest comments on Facebook and Twitter.

I want you all to get up, go to the window, open it and yell.... I'm mad as HELL and I'm not going to take it anymore...

Anonymous said...

dont you worry bout schultz's daughter & the mysterious dwi. She is now as untouchable as barboa!!!

Anonymous said...

The Journal is censoring all letters that attack Schultz. This is not freedom of the press. I urge everyone to call the Journal's Editor, Kent Walz 823 3802, and voice your opinion. Do it in a civil way, but let him know you want all opinions on Schultz printed. I want to see Lt. Tate's letter printed in the Journal! Don't you? Make the call and demand the Journal print these letters that expose Schultz.

Anonymous said...

I find it odd that there are some you tube clips with Shawn Bryan out there but the journal never reported what he is saying. Smells fishy people.

Schultz's daughter was never arrested for DUI...she admitted to it during her polygraph.

If she is old enough to be a 34, then she has not business wasting tax dollars being a PSA.

IMO, she is nothing but Daddy's little snitch.

What kind of father puts his daughter in a job where she will be the least trusted and most hated PSA on the dept?

Wtg Schultz! Father of the year I tell ya!

Anonymous said...

Honest discourse and discussion?

What; will you be talking to yourself?

You cant have honest discourse and discussion with those who are dishonest.
Dah.

Anonymous said...

Even as much as I dislike Schultz, I hope no one leaves her in a dangerous situation. That would make that person as ruthless and despicable as her Dad. However, I do agree, what father would put their child in a situation where the majority of the police force hates her dad. Remember Schultz you reap what you sow.

Just saw the YouTube !!!!!! How has Ryan Buckner gotten away with this crap????? F the journal where's DOJ???? Sounds like someone should be reading some transcripts and files that buckner made

Anonymous said...

The fire chiefs son is in the fire dept.....his son is good people...don't necessarily judge someone because their father is garbage.

Anonymous said...

You cant judge Schultz's daughter by what he has done. The good people of APD will give her a fair chance.

Schultz' boy in AFD, I don't think so unless they have a different last name or he's a cadet. Maybe Bernalillo County? And how can he get in with his past criminal record?? Same old BS. Then we wonder why there's rogue firemen & cops.
