Inter-city violence happens everyday. Kids are shot everyday. Connecticut was the worst by far.

I laughed my ass off after reading retired 34 Cochrane's letter in the SPEAK UP section... Must have been an officer that has been ordered by his chain of command to write more tickets... What a joke...
Yeah, 3 HARD warnings. That way the 34 gets to claim them on their monthly and doesn't have to go to court. (Where they'd be 90day'd anyway.)
That's another thing the DOJ needs to look at. Performance standards, which are quotas in writing given out at the beginning of every bid. They contain a list of activities like tickets misdemeanor and felony arrests, DWI arrests, and Pan Handler citations with an expected number of how many of each are expected every month.
Some even tell officers that they are not allowed to give warnings and that all of the tickets have to be fines or court with no exceptions and it's all in writing.
What ever happened to an officers descretion??? Guess it was changed when Cass became a Sgt.... She is so big on stats its disgusting. Now shes big on the lapel cameras she wants to make sure she sees it all first so she can start the bus and push the guys under it....

So this Cass is now following and playing by the rules her superiors created for her and you want to throw her under the bus for doing her job? Only a punk would throw someone under the bus for doing the "right" thing. When was the last time you did the "right" thing punk?
