The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Berry Claims Crime is Down: Second Assault on APD in less than Three Days

As usually Berry and Banks have failed to notify the public again about clear and present danger to the public. For the second time in three days the APD has been accosted by an armed assailant.  Police have the area of Washington and Central blocked off. No one is saying anything but we already know there is a major critical situation. We already know it was an officer involved shooting.

No Information has been disseminated (as usual) but our Eyes are telling us this is an officer involved shooting.  Berry and Banks need to stop hiding behind someone’s skit. Since neither one of you two ladies have enough gumption we will tell you what needs to be done in a short list:
Activate Alpha Bravo for three days to bring calm and control to the City; have officers ride double to ensure they are capable of handling anything since it is a two man unit.  Alpha Bravo is a code to place the officers on 12 hour shifts; this immediately moves the manning levels up to 50% of the department on duty at any given time.
Instead of hiding and showing Albuquerque that you two are both too cowardly to act; do something, show some leadership.  How pathetic of a “so-called” leader.  Oh yeah, for the idiots who voted Berry and his failed administration back in; here is another snake to stuff in your pocket…You morons could easily put a tear in Medusa’s eyes but not ours…
Great job to the APD officers who are stepping up since APD is a classic model of a leaderless group…

Banks and Levy. Talk about shit that even buzzards don't eat. And they are the ones leading us. OMFG!!!

Jabba the Hutt?

there was a dispatched call where the caller said that an officer would be shot everyday. why didnt the administration make sure every officer knew about that call?

Eye,
Why do you have a picture of two piles of shit in front of the mobile crime scene van? Who dumped two piles of shit there?!?!

What would happen if 4 citizens were shot??? Would the press be so tight lipped? Scenarios: if 4 citizens were shot by the bad guy all he'll would break loose about the police not doing their job. It would be all over the media. I pray for the Deputy and Officer still in the hospital. This is a game changer for APD. And now this incident on Central and Jefferson. It's like Nazi Germany...nothing being told to the people. I think this is also the reason the online police scanner has been down for almost a week now. When the Government controls the air waves and the print media you know it's not a free country!

This is where we go off the rails.

Stop the name calling. Even if you do not like any of these people make your arguement in a professional way or most citizens will just turn you off.

Act professional and get noticed. Act immature and get ignored. You want change? Then act like adults and make your case without making fun of people.

Come on Eye quit the making fun of how people look and stick with issues.

Word is Banks is going to pull 30 officers from inside positions and put them back in the field...

I remember when the department warned officers of an impending ambush and death threats from the aryan brotherhood. The department then lied and screwed over two officers who encountered one and did what they had to do to get him in custody. I believe Levy was a part of that whole scandal where she lied, witheld evidence and misrepresented the incident to a criminal level in order to help Schultz and Berry avoid the DOJ investigation.

These people like Banks Levy and Berry could give a shit about their punlic safety personnel. If they get killed or injured they will use the event to fool the citizens into thinking they care by putting on their solemn face and faking concern. They would just as soon burn the officers if they needed to in order to get themselves out of a bind. If you think otherwise, you are foolish and need only to look up and read the transcripts on the above case along with the conflicting support and testimony rendered in the Ken Ellis case. These people have no shame. They will say whatever they need to and they will try to destroy anything in their way to achieve their goals. And Levy is their consultant.

How Levy and Banks look speak for themselves. Banks couldn't even do the final run with cadets a few weeks ago at UNM's Johnson Field. He rode a bicycle. Leadership at its worst. From the rear and not doing what's asked of others.

Will you please shut the fuck up with the ivory tower bullshit? You sound like a redundant crybaby. I for one enjoy the color commentary. If YOU don't like it, then kick rocks. Nobody here asked you to read it. You have been here with an agenda ever since McCleskey had his ass split in half here and the election concluded. Get over it. This sute is not going to change for you. If you don't like it, stop reading it and start your own blog.

You come and blow hate on this blog and nothing changes because you can't seem to create a valid arguement without acting like a grade school bully. No wonder you got your ass kicked in the last election. The few citizens that voted ignored the hate filled abuse that you spew.

And as long as my fingers are moving I will continue to tell you to grow up if you want to be taken seriously.

And I do not support the other side. I want our side to win over the voters, but until folks like you grow up we won't.

Will someone please email the Eye the Valley Watch 2 lineup for Saturday October 26? Come on someone needs to release this lineup so the Eye can post it and then we can watch Banks and Berry spin.

Well then, as long as I still wake up with morning wood, I will tell you to suck it.

Hate and retaliation is all those scum bags understand. The quicker you learn to fight fire with a flame thrower, the better.

Sometimes you have to throw punches and get dirty. Save the gentleman shit for those worthy of that respect. The other side is filth not worthy of being fed to beetles.

You don't get it, the only change comes from the public and they view the hate filled rants as proof the other side is doing something right.

Wake up and make smart points.

Can someone knowledgeable please explain how the fourth street shooter was able to get into a "VACANT POLICE CARE" (?)and drive it up and down Fourth Street causing havoc? Why was a vacant police car at the place where the crazy shooter called the cops. Was not the car guarded or protected? Where were the officers at this time to prevent the car takeover and subsequent driving rampage?

coincidence I think not. Governor Martinez' son starts the academy and all of a sudden she is for death penalty for police. How come the support only comes with they are directly effected. Dumbies dont realize everyone is effected by how poor APD is run and how the criminals are winning

Ok ok ok... I will suggest that every hate filled rant contains at least one valid point.

@7:08 - I could not agree more. Sadly, many who comment here can not write a sentence without going on a profanity laced tirade. Unfortunate because it seems there are legitimate points to be made but most here do so in a manner that make the writer look like a brooding petulant 13 year old who thinks that using swear words or crass phrases lands their message better.

News flash: If you sound foolish, few will take you seriously. A lot of people (Officers) who contribute to this blog should consider this and perhaps try to recognize how many of these comments look to the average citizen who may read this blog.

Are you trying to help your cause or hurt it?

Hey APOA how about getting on TV and making the following statement:

If Mayor Berry truly wants to honor our officers, who are all hero's, then he should sign their labor contract which he vacated 4 years ago. Asking these men and women of APD to sacrifice their lifes on a daily basis, while the Mayor refuses to neogotite their contract is wrong. I ask all citizens to call Mayor Berry at 768 3000 and demand that he treat our police officers better by giving them a labor contract. He needs to do this before he gives out any medals. Is public safety and police officers important to Mayor Berry? Prove it. Sign their contract!

There you go Stephanie. This would take some courage but I don't think courage is an issue with you. I believe you will do this.

And Eye how about a posting demanding the same? Get the citizens to start calling Berry and lets show our police and fire that the citizens believe they are most important and appreciated. Show the appreciation by demanding Berry sign their labor contract.

I think Caleb James on KOB has a man crush on S23. His report on the unknown S23 would make a teenage girl blush. I swear James was rubbing his nipples when he was talking about S23. It made me uncomfortable.

@9:58

Another entitled Public Servant demanding a labor contract to stipulate pay and working conditions. Why don't you stipulate your own pay and working conditions? Capitalism right...supply and demand. Let me explain it for you APD lug nuts.....the skills for being a Cop are not in demand, therefore take what you can get! The market dictates the prices right? With that said, you aren't as important to society as you think because if you were, then society would put a higher value for your skill sets right? Cop skill set = low demand = low pay. Does that make sense lug nuts?

The next time a Christopher Chase goes bat shit crazy. Hopefully he runs right into you, and puts a peep hole right where your forehead used to be. We will see if your skill set enables you to keep stealing oxygen. And oh, before you come back with how tough your little candy ass is, and how you will take care of it yourself, because the police are never there when you need them, just remember your punk ass was offered out here a few times and you are too much of a pussy to back it up. The offer still stands diaper boy. And by the way those skill sets put your drunk ass in jail. They also wrote that nice little report about a sissy who beats women and runs away from the police. All big and tough but nowhere to be found when the cops get there. Just like all the other blowhards. Why is it I only hear this type of talk on the internet by punks behind keyboards? Ha HA HA...
Oh, I know. no balls. And you can't buy them at walgreens either.

We have the right to demand better wages and benefits just like everyone else. The top 1% has received 95% of all pay increases over the last 5 years. We want our slice of the pie too and we deserve it. And if you think we are so stupid then don't call us the next time you wreck or someone is threatening you. But you will call and we will come. We have ethics.

I said it weeks ago that the ire of the Eye of late mixed with the comments section is piting this as a citizen vs. cops battle.

I recently relocated to NM from out of state. Since relocating, I have struggled to understand why LEO's hold such a weak position in this state. Both with citizens and with elected officials...

Its very disheartening to see the largest department and union in the state in such a weak position. Abq police department and union should be respected by its citizens and envied by officers throughout the state.

Obviously that is not the case.

Im guessing its a problem with leadership, with admin and union.

Just a suggestion, but maybe the union could look outside the state for help....find a similar sized city with political divisions and ask or pay for advice.

I know it can be hard to accept and implement ideas from the "outside"....

For the sake of all LEO in NM and yourselves, the Abq union needs to be a source of respect and power in Politics and its citizens.

Here, hers an educated fact to prove the other side is committing an ongoing criminal act!

Every criminal organizations attorney knows if you help in the decision making process while the action is ongoing it is in fact contributing to the criminal act, not rendering legal aid. This does not apply to ongoing matters that stretch over a notable length of time, such as DoJ questions pertaining to policy decisions, but it does in incidents such as a multiple hour SWAT standoff or drug deal gone bad.

Also, this is not the first time the attorney has been on scene giving "direction" to swat on how to do their job. No other police department in the country allows their attorney, non-LEO to deliver guidance during the event because it violated dozens of ethics and federal laws,

Once and for all someone please sue. To be clear here is the exact charge
Failure to act in the public interest by a government employee
Causality : Ms Levy has not now nor ever been a certified member of law enforcement. By using her position to force sworn law enforcement to change their decisions IN THE COURSE OF AN ONGOING INCIDENT she is in fact interfering with a member of law enforcement and interfering with a criminal investigation which all SWAT standoff and criminal scene wrap ups are.

She and the 5th and 11th floor can scream all they want about attorney relationship but the fact is she does not have the proper training to be a factor in the decision making process on scene as it unfolds or in the immediate hours after,

@8:20

Not good for the cops. There is under 1,000 APD cops and a helluva of lot more citizens with legitimate gun ownership in this Metro area. In fact, I'm sure we'd make your 1,000 number look like an island, when we are a continent!

@ 3:35 & 4:51

Rob Perry gets 180K and you got? Once again, the skill set of being a cop isn't in much demand nowadays is it? If it was, then the CABQ would put a higher premium on it. 10/31 @ 12:55 couldn't say it more eloquently.

Its true, Police & Fire do need Contracts signed but not just them. Nearly all City Departments are without Contracts. Does this Administration really care about any of us?

Anonymous said...

Of the 1000 officers at APD, how many are assigned to Admin? Does the 1000 include retired personnel, or PSA's?

@4:59 Don't forget the IRO showing up at these investigations or Perry's mudding up the Han scene.
