The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. Schultz Sharpens his Forte

When one thinks a local village idiot can do no worse, somehow they manage to surprise a person. On Monday, the Albuquerque Police Department issued another social media policy directed at an employee’s personal choice(s). Apparently Schultz is a bigot; you must think, believe and do as Schultz instructs! If you do not, you will be disciplined up to and including terminated.

Does this seem harsh or severe? Not if you’re a dictator like oh, let say, Momar Kaddafi or Raymond Daniel Schultz. You must do what as he says like an obedient slave. What’s next with this fascist leader? Is he going to go after officers for being Black or Indian or because they are gay or lesbian? Those days are gone; our community will not tolerate a bigot of any type or form. Schultz will soon find himself in the same situation as Kaddafi, held up in a hole waiting for the free will of the people to take him out.

No Schultz it is not a “threat,” it is a fact that you need to leave and take all your baggage and prejudices with you. Schultz’s actions would make the forefathers of our Constitution puke. The United States of America was founded and built on FREEDOM! That freedom includes “Freedom of Speech!” Schultz has overstayed his tenure and it is time for him to leave. The Eye sees another huge slap in the face to the City over this ridiculous policy.

Let us not forget that incompetence is promoted by incompetence. Schultz placed retired/rehired Officer John Gallegos to be the Departments’ Social Media Compliance Officer. This guy is paid about $50,000.00 a year to “surf” the internet looking for APD officers who might post something on the intranet. This is the same John Gallegos who tried to shove (Ret.) Officer Mark Bralley and his attorney Paul Livinston out of an office during an Internal Affairs interview. This cost the City hundreds of thousands of dollars. Gallegos has already proven he cannot make good decisions and Schultz rehires him and places him in this critical position? It would be shocking, but it is not because it has become a common for Schultz to make bad decisions.

Interesting enough, our Eyes tell us that Schultz attends church and stands there as a hypocrite. Is a church a place where three or more gather for a common purpose? Does his church sometimes oppose what the government does or says? This makes him guilty of his own policy. What about Schultz’s membership of the International Chiefs of Police (IACP)? What about the Fraternal Order of Police who commonly disagrees with the president and has a political action committee that “acts” against the President or endorses another candidate?

What about when Schultz conspired with Darren White to “go after” Sam Costales? Schultz has violated just about every single piece of this garbage; he calls a policy. Berry should terminate Schultz based on Schultz’s past actions. This site has provided proof and “information” repeatedly. UNM wizened up and terminated their problem (who has cost them millions). When is the City of Albuquerque going to follow suit?

Schultz has failed to learn that “respect is earned; not simply given.” When will Schultz learn? This is just another civil rights violation in the making. But Schultz sees it as no big deal, after all, it’s not his money; it’s YOUR MONEY that will be paid out! As far as being convicted for civil rights violations, this will just be another notch in his lip stick case…

Some of this policy is directly out of federal law language. You decide if this policy is right or wrong when it comes to a person’s personal choice(s); we are not talking about terrorist or terrorism:

Personnel shall not knowingly associate, visit, join, participate, mimic or have ongoing dealings with individuals, persons, memberships, associations, organizations, enterprises or groups of three or more persons under a common sign or symbol that:

|1|-|5| 1. Advocates the overthrow of the government; or vigilantism; or violence, or criminal activity, or discrimination, or knowingly or unknowingly violates the laws, ordinances or statutes of the City, State, U.S. or Constitution of the U.S.

[5-7} 2. Reduces the efficiency of personnel or organization, or creates a conflict of interest in either the on, and off-duty conduct of personnel with the stated goals, standards, requirements and or vision statement of the department; or compromises the conduct of themselves both on and off-duty in such a manner as to reflect most favorable on the department, or creates a self-induced jeopardy.

This type of behavior is expected from a two year old child who doesn’t get their way; not from a top executive in the City of Albuquerque.

A dictator is just that; a DICTATOR!

Okay. I speak and read and write english very well, but for the life of me don't understand this:
"knowingly or *UNKNOWINGLY* violates the laws, ordinances or statutes of the City, State, U.S. or Constitution of the U.S."
I don't get it. How can it be against the law if you don't know that it is against the law? Most law is just common sense, but what if, (as a silly example) there is a line on a sidewalk. You step over this line, and then find out it was against the law....how can you be held responsible for this, especially when it was just a line on the ground? I just don't get that part, but it is worded ambiguously enough that it could be used in a myriad of situations at the writers pleasure, depending on who violated it, and who is enforcing it. Maybe that is the point?
And then it goes on to say:

Again, this is worded ambiguously enough that it could be interpreted in a manner so as to use the statement for or against an officer depending on the person enforcing the statement.
Seems to me a little head hunting is going on, but no one is looking in a mirror.
Here's a thought, let's hold the mirror up to the upper management, and see what interpetation they'd use for themselves.
Do I think the department needs to police itself? Absolutely; but it needs to start at the top.

Why this article sounds mighty liberal. Wait til the rest of the GOP takes over. There go your collective bargaining rights and you and the firefighters will all be working for minimum wage. I would say you all should test the water collectively and see if he can fire over 800 officers at once. I doubt that will happen, since most people are too chicken s**t.

Sounds like if you are caught associating with the Eye, you will be disciplined. Better keep your posts anonymous.

This policy language is directly from the Federal RICO Act, they just left out the word CRIMINAL. In my opinion it can be used to go after anyone who stands up for what is right if it disagrees with the administration. I have written proof of this and will present it at the next City Council Meeting. I invite everyone to attend to see for yourself. I ask this question, did Ray Schultz not violate this policy by conspiring with Darren White to violate Sam Costalas CIVIL RIGHTS ? Was Ray Schultz not found guilty in Federal Court of violating Sam Costalas CIVIL RIGHTS ? Is that not a crime ? Not to mention the Brad Arensfield conspiracy is far from over. What is next ? Will Schultz order the police to meet at the libary and start burning books. I will continue the fight until all the dirt swept under the rug and wrong doing by this administration is exposed. Remember I know alot and am finding out more on a daily bases.

Does any cop at APD have the courage to call Peter Simonson at the ACLU 505 266 5915?

Only the people it is effecting can call and ask the ACLU to stop this madness at APD.

It looks like Ray is going to cost us taxpayers some more money.

How do we get rid of this fool!

The first commenter states "How can it be against the law if you don't know that it is against the law? " Ignorance of the law is no excuse; therefor it is always a mistake to talk to the police without an attorney present, just in case you don't know.

The way I see it, Schultz was proven in court to have violated this policy and yet he is still the leader of APD. So, does this mean that every APD officer belongs to an origination (APD) that advocates and approves of violating this policy and therefore should be terminated?

Looks like it's time to go to the FBI and file a civil rights policies and practice complaint against APD and the city. If they are willing to do this to their own, what are they doing to the general public?

Changing the subject a little. Saw on the news that Darren's second investigation exonerated him How's can it be independent when the person works in the same building. I know, he doesn't answer to the mayor (wink wink). In addition, they claim it was the policeman's fault she was let go. Hello, who the hell was the head of the police - Ray and Darren. If he were ethical, he would have had the policeman follow protocol and had her tested, but he showed up and threw everyone off their game. He knows the rules! Also, if she was truly on seizure medication - why is she driving. Public Safety - my a** - he knew she was on the road and endangering the citizens of ABQ. Disgusting and yet those who have information won't come forward!

So Schultz taught all his officers what he knows best! Apply the rule of law to others but not themselves! In fact, as I look outside my office window I see over a half dozen APD squad cars parked illegally. They must learn from the best eh? No sympathy to the APD whiners here.....if you don't like it, find another job!

Are you kidding me. The ACLU is the worst place to get help from. they are the leberal who sue COPS for any and everything. I once heard a wise man say the ACLU was the start of our downfall in the 1960's. Go figure

You can blast the ACLU all you want, but they will be the ones who force Schultz to back down from violating officers rights to freedom of speech.

Don't call them and live in the Soviet Union (APD)

Can't wait for this next city council meeting. Wonder if Ray will wear more make-up this time to cover the red in his face whenever he gets called out again?

I'll bring the popcorn!

ACLU has stepped in to help Afd and APD in the past dimwit.

So I guess if you work for APD and go to a family reunion and your cousin twice removed is there and happens to be in the Tea Party - you could be fired for associating with someone who is against the goverment...hummmmm interesting...

Mayor if this isnt a clear picture of what is going on at APD and lack of leadership, I don't know how to make it any more crystal clear. All at will empoloyees have to be let go and fairness has to be restored not ass kissing. We can't be fair to ourselves much less a total stranger.

Brett Lampris you are nothing more than a con man. You get cush jobs cuz you con everyone. All defense attorneys are going to supress your work from here on out.

Why don't you all file a civil rights lawsuit against APD. Let's see if you can all stick together. I doubt it, because all I've read on these sites are you all bashing each other. I agree with not bragging about shooting someone (ie Trey Economides) on a public site, unless you want to be sued. No one wants an abusive cop on the streets. But, I feel you should have free will to say whatever you want about your employer or the gov't. I think that's where freedom of speech is supposed to enter the picture. However, there are cops out there that claim to have information to get rid of Ray, Darren and the Mayor once and for all, yet they don't produce. (ie ghost of tru touch, stealth, etc). You know who you are. Good luck you are going to need it, especially if the GOP takes over. There go the bargaining rights!

Ray Schultz will be fired very soon. Violating officer's rights. Tampering with investigations. It's all coming to a court house near you very soon. his merry men will be following him too.

Nice to see the mouth pieces for Schultz and Berry (KOB, KOAT, KRQE and the Journal) are not even reporting this.

What didn't the chief or mayor give you a press release to read? That's all the local media does, just read press releases. They don't investigate anything this chief and mayor say.

I am am member of the APOA, will that get me fired? Perhaps I should disassociate myself just in case...

Anonymous said...

True no one goes to Union meetings and that is just what they want. The lack of leadership doesnt end at the 5th floor the poor attendance reflects directly on the Union President. His lack of leadership shows because there is no attedance.

Anonymous said...

You got that right! The president of the APOA is a snake. He does not represent his officers. As a matter of fact he has a hand in the fate of every officer who is thrown under the bus.

Eye,
Get ready for this dictator's next move. He just can't be wrong in his eyes. He won't have it. You won't believe the illegal depths he has gone to to attempt to make himself look right. Him and his bunch stepped in it and they don't know how to get out of it without victimizing more honest officers, and attempting to destroy their careers, and lives. BOY is he going to cost the city another cool million.
