The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. CHANNEL 4 AT 10PM TONIGHT!

Mayoral Candidate Paul Heh's interview about another one of Mayor Berry's disgraced public safety officials.  Ray Schultz, resigning as Albuquerque's Police Chief will be on channel 4 at 10PM tonight. Watch it and get your friends and family to watch it!
POINTS OF INTEREST AND TRUTH:
ABQ public safety problems started with Mayor Berry's decision to appoint Darren White and politicize the public safety director position.

During Mayor Berry tenure as mayor public safety has been swarming with controversy and lack of leadership.

The nefarious Darren White absence came after a vote of no confidence from rank and file members of the APD and AFD and questionable decisions concerning the details of his wife's sobriety after she was involved in a crash.

APD has been drowning in bad press for on and off duty conduct and a Federal investigation by the DOJ.

AFD has had its share of problems as well including a vote of no confidence against Chief Breen, off duty fire fighter conduct.

Public Safety PIO TJ Wilhelm was removed from his position after a well suppressed event unfolded on the 11 floor of city hall in the mayors office.

Both AFD and APD departments continue to deal with a real lack of leadership and moral at an all time low.

Berry; As mayor I will replace both chief's and restore confidence back into the men and women who serve our city. .

WE NEED REAL LEADERSHIP; WE NEED TO ELECT PAUL HEH AS MAYOR!!!

Hey loser Schultz pretty sure no one wants your help and your leadership skills. Which I don't think you have.

Regarding the Ellis verdict, the only thing Rob Perry and Berry have to say is the shooting occurred 30 days after he took office. SO WHAT!!!!!!!!! The city is getting hit for $10,000,000 and all you can worry about is your re-election? I don't care if it was 1 day after he took office of 1000 days, you own this Berry, you own this Schultz and you own this Perry. Good bye re-election.

Anonymous said...

The city has to pay $10,000,000 and all Berry and Perry have to say is the shooting ocurred 30 days after they took office.

SO WHAT!!!!!!!

I don't care if this was one day or 1000 days after you took office. You own this and the voters will not forget. So Berry Schultz and Perry need to stop spinning for re-election, they are done. And Ray why don't you stop BSing the public and just leave now. That retirement letter said nothing. Everyone sees through you already.

DOJ announces in Nov of their investigation. If you note, Schultz references a meeting in January with Perry that he was intending to retire AKA forced out. What a piece of crap Schultz is. He lied to all of us that he was going to stay and fight it out with DOJ. Get the fuc* out and take all your croonies with you cuz they are next. You at will employees better get your retirement stuff in line.

Be like Medina do your high 3 and take pay cut cuz he sees what is coming. He is a worthless appointed ass kisser too.

OMG, I memmer APD was the best department in the US, Ray-ray and dingle sure made a mess of it.....now to the taxpapers of the 505, bend over...its gonna hurt!!!

Levy left the courtroom out of the back door.....

Well, no suprise there.....

Just like a fat turd out the back side of a squatting dog....

What justice!!!!
The queen liar can't even face those she slandered.
She should resign tomorrow also!

@ 6:51 the issue of "only taking orders" doesn't fly anymore and hasn't for a few years. Everyone knows that. No need to put in your report that someone told you to arrest, handcuff, detain an individual. YOU alone are responsible for YOUR actions.

Anonymous said...

Berry/Perry....so what if the shooting happened a month in your administration. The coverup and whitewash of it happened over the following dozen months. YOU TWO FUCKTARDS OwN THIS!!!!!!!!

Will $10,000,000 of Ray Schultz mismanagement finally make the citizens angry? Or are they all to damn lazy to care?

Harder Than You Think said...

I hate to pee in everybody's cheerios, but Schultz ain't gonna leave anytime soon and the Ellis family ain't gonna see any money anytime soon.

Schultz opened the door only to have an escape hatch. But watch him make such "personal sacrifices" to stay to restore APD should Berry win reelection.

Levy will argue for a new trial and if she fails at that, she will appeal both the summary judgment decision AND the verdict.

I will say this though: this fight just entered a new level. They are in tailspin mode. No better time to attack.

Why a letter to the CAO. Thought the Chief worked for the Mayor. Another piece of evidence that things run in Bizzarro Land at City Hall.

Anonymous said...

This is another bret farvre we have here. This crud is going to stick it out till the election to see if berry just maybe may win THEN if so he will make such the great personal sacrifice and stay to clean up apd. Another political shell game from the assholes. You watch.

Wonder if Berry will make city employees take another pay cut or furlough days to pay his 10 million dollar mistake .....then he tells KOB yesterday he stands behind APD officers ....ain't gonna get any votes Berry so STFU! Poor 'Burque and 'Burquenos ....more lawsuits to come ...more judgements to be had. Channel 7 just showed a poll of citizens ref: Chief's retirement decision. Over 60% says it's a bad decision! Here's your sign, citizens. This is why we'll never get on the good list ..our own citizens being spoon fed what the media outlets print and broadcast. Never questioning the source and the fact that we don't have real journalists here. They just want to please the city and APD so they'll give them stories to run. If the media or someone in the media wants to run dry on information, all they need to do is piss off the big boys and poof! No more scoops!

Not only did the shootings occurre after he was elected, they also allowed him to remain employed. Once the DOJ is done with APD they need to look at all the appointed heads. They will find the patern of corruption throughout the City. The story goes that Berry said after being elected, "I want the employees to be treated right." What has happen since has been the complete opposite. Appointees have taken all good paying jobs. They are not even required to advertise for perminate positions and have hired a record amount of media representatives with buying power to spin the media at will. Just as APD is being focused on for targeting the Hispanic community since he has been in office,we can flip the tables and look at the lack of Deputy Chiefs and Deputy Directors. Yes the made sure to throw in a few token visible whitewashed appointees at the top but true focus will arrive soon. When every City employee is charged with getting just two votes in the upcoming election, it will not matter how how much PAC money or employees they bring in from other states to run ours. This should be the focus.

@7:42. KOAT belongs to APD and the Journal. They have kids on TV calling plaintiff's lawyers "prosecutors". They run stories with half the information and they recently hired a former commander from the dept. I didn't think anyone watched KOAT anyway.

Anonymous said...

Idisagree with 7:42. Brett was hired under chavez when he was pushing for more officers. And no one is responsible for firing the a gun than the person who is holding it. We can push blame everyone but the person who fires a gun is responsible for where the impact ends up.

Joe Christman will be temp chief until election. If berry wins he may stay chief.

Ashley Browders family lost someone to. Ashley wasn't armed with a weapon, she did the right thing in calling her sister for a safe ride home. One of your arrogant entitled boys in a blue uniform killed her.

Where is the outrage and, or, the moral courage from you fellow officers at any rank to stand up and admit this young lady was killed at the hands of a speeding, driving recklessly and, without due regard to others safety asshole they call Sgt. Casaus?

Where is the honor, courage, integrity or the moral compass, from APD/BCSO in this situation? PATHETIC!

This won't get posted because it speaks ill of the "Eyes" compatriots (APD officers). Ray Schults is responsible for a lot of APDs woes, but, this blog site it full of shit and being disingenuous with everyone if the 'EYE' thinks it can ONLY expect accountability from the Chief and not the individual person such as the Browder murder.

The next time the eye blogs a story speaking out against obvious and blatant wrong doing of a law enforcement officer and asking for individual and personal accountability from said officer or officers will be the 1st time the 'EYE' pens that story. Expecting the taxpayer to pay out money in civil damages and avoiding criminal charges for your fuck ups is not being held accountable.

Ray Schultz and the blog site known as the 'EYE' are 2 peas from the same pod, myopic and delussional.

RE: MARCH 16, 2013 AT 10:34:00 AM MDT

EVERYONE IS CONCERNED ABOUT THIS INCIDENT. IT IS NOT UP TO THE OFFICERS TO SPEAK UP OR OUT ABOUT THIS; IT IS UP TO THE LEADERSHIP. BERRY AND SCHULTZ ARE NOT LEADERS; THEY ARE COWARDS AND COWARDS HIDE.

CAN EVERYONE SEE WHY SCHULTZ HAS PLACED HIS "GET OUT OF JAIL FREE" CARD (MIGHT RETIRE LETTER) ON THE TABLE? DID EVERYONE NOTICE SCHULTZ SUBMITTED HIS PLANS AND A 10,000,000.00 VERDICT ARE BOTH ANNOUNCED IN THE SAME DAY AND BERRY AND SCHULTZ ARE NO WHERE TO BE FOUND??? IT IS NOT A COINCIDENCE; THEY ARE COWARDS, THIS IS PROOF!!!

WE ALL FEEL THE LOST OF THIS YOUNG LADY UNDER TRAGIC CIRCUMSTANCES. THE EYE ON ALBUQUERQUE OFFERS OUR CONDOLENCES FOR YOUR LOSS...

You know why the Eye rocks? Because only here do we have posters saying the Eye is run by cop haters only to be posted alongside other posts accusing the Eye of being cop lovers. THAT is proof of the Eye's power!!!

I agree with the poster regarding the fatal 45..... DEMAND a fuck'n answer!!!

Agree with 9:21 all employees need to stick together. They are planning on public safety and administration to fight against each other and that is not going to happen. Now that the public has spoken asking for 50 percent of the vote, the only thing that needs to happen at this point is voting against the Mayor. Next, through freedom of information collect all data on the pay of chiefs, deputy chiefs, directors, deputy director, associate directors and appointees. This will clearly show where the raise money has gone and prove the lack of opportunity that is in the system for those that have put in their contributions over the years.

Anonymous said...

All of Berry's appointees are pulling from the budget and leaving nothing for raises. just start on the 11th floor. wasn't Perry working with the same Paul Kennedy that found Mary Han? Wasn't Perry then City Attorney at the scene? How about the double dipper Loue Hoffman, who was said to have been placed there to save the City money? John Garcia costing the City time and money fighting for his El Pinto airport concession. If you work your way down you will find Directors that own stock in companies stearng major contracts in those directions. This has all really hurt the economy badly. Also, when loyal employees are doing twice the work for less money the moral becomes toxic.

In that photo in the Journal Schultz looks like someone squeezed his head out of a tube of Preparation H. Turkey neck in that photo is an understatement.

Most members of the community seem to be of the opinion that a few bad apples are spoiling the bunch and this attidute accounts for the lack of public outcry. Additionally, people seem to forget the long history of corruption and cronyism within APD, not limited to and including the DA's office, judges and politicians. At no time has this department had a positive repitutaion, except as visioned by it's own personnel. APD is built on cronyism which is why it continues to have the problems that it does. Chief Shultz has recruited the discards of other departments like state police and brought them into his rank and file. They hire friends and family of their rank and file whereby ethics, poor judgement and bad attitude prevail and the cycle continues.

An officer who's killing of another is deemed excessive then the homicide is no longer justified in the eyes of the law and he or she should be charged with homicide.

An officer who fails exercise sound judgement and fails to abide by the New Mexico Safe Pursuit Act, and kills the passenger of another should be charged with vehiclular homicide.

An officer or officers who destroy and tamper with evidence in another jurisdiction should be charged with such crimes to include conspiricy to comit murder with their fellow police officer.

An officer who fails to exercise sound judgeent and fails to abide by the New Mexico Safe Pursuit Act and kills a woman in her back yard should be charged with vehicular homicide.

A public safety director that tampers with the investigation of a crash which happens to involve his wife should not be a candidate for rehire in any state government job.

For these reasons Mayor Berry should have terminated the Chief of Police. And because he didn't is why Mayor Berry should not be elected. For these reasons APD needs a chief that is not from the rank and file! If one has rank in this dpartment, it's for a reason. If you are in the file of this department, its for a reason. It's because you are willing to perpetuate the culter of thug, keystone, cryonism that has made the deparment what it is today.

History repeats itself:

APD Officer Toby Gallegos
Police Chief Sam Baca
APD Officer Ronald Merriman
APD Officer John Carillo
APD Officer John Hearn
APD Officer Greg Avila
APD Officer Robert Earl Davis
Police Chief Jospeh Polisar
APD Sgt. Mike Garcia

Does anyone know why Shultz called on his little buddy Marc Adams of the crime lab to order Nick Dodge to transfer over a million dollars of evidence money to the city general account.HUM. Marc and Shultz are friends and Shultz Hired Nick. WOW

Agree with the comment that all city depts need to be looked into ..I've bee.n employed for city 14 years so far and I've seen things at this department that qualifies as illegal on so many levels ---false time sheets at the request of manager, money donations being "juked ", a private entity operating on city property using city employees as their own workers, hiring in upper management of friends, the elimination of clerical positions, not compensating clerical workers or lower management workers for OT, not reimbursing for mileage, Atilla the Hun in our fiscal dept making clerical employees drive all the way downtown no matter how far away they are, to fix their timesheet and no mileage is paid even tho it's on work time. Union doesn't do anything! M or C unions are thieves. Taking our dues and doing nothing. How does someone file a complaint against it's union?

Bret has made some mistakes but look into his supervisor (Glen Stout) that has allowed his misconduct, such as lying and stealing money from the city. This supervisor was in Internal Affairs, what a joke!.

Anonymous said...

The jury said we need to look at Bret entire chain of command right up to Schultz. Lack of supervision all the way up. I want to hear Schultz and Berry apologize to the citizens for this debacle and for once own something. Be men and accept accountability.

SID is a joke. A bunch of former IA (Stout, Peck, West) while the most corrupt bull shit is right under their nose (Ficke, BLT, Luna, Stephenson...). Sure the public knows those four stories but we know the others that are still going on. Clean up the damn house before it burns to the ground.

Anonymous said...

at 2:05..well said. No kidding huh, an entire chain of command of IA hacks. And Glenn Stout is about as stupid as one could get.

Anonymous said...

Glen Stout is a crook! Taking drug money from prisoners, and lying on a timesheet for months. How does an entire squad say they worked a shift but never worked it, and make thousands of dollars in FBI overtime?

Anonymous said...

Pick a Chief from within?? Really Paul? You haven't been gone that long, and you can honestly say with the pool of Commanders & DCs, there is a Chief?? There's no way in hell !!
Good candidates have already left the department, and the bottom of the barrel is all that is left. Find a retired candidate with Integrity, ethics & MORALS. A small number of them are out there.

Anonymous said...

At 4:35, that's exactly what I heard him say. Somebody local...which means past/former apd. I doubt he'd choose anybody in Apd now. They are all tainted by Schulrtz. And we know Paul's position on all things Schultz.
