The Piercing Truth

This is right from the dictionary and seems to describe Albuquerque, Berry and Schultz. Fascism (f ash ,izem) noun An authoritarian right wing system of government and/or social organization. (in general use) extreme right wing, authoritarian, chauvinistic and/or intolerant views or practices. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one group over another, national, ethnic, especially social strata or monetarily; a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach. RECIPE FOR DESPICABLE

While the soon to be departed Mayor of Albuquerque, RJ Berry, is going around collecting money for his campaign from out of city voters, a recent article caught our Eye.

We know the list is almost endless as to what's gone wrong since Berry became mayor, but it's worth repeating: we've lost more jobs (3,900) proportionally than any other city in the country, we have fewer people employed now than when Berry took office in December 2009, APD is under DOJ investigation, the person responsible for APD's demise is being allowed to walk away with a fat 90% of gross income pension, real estate prices have yet to recover to their pre-2009 prices, crime rate is higher than ever before, more people are leaving Albuquerque than moving in, cover up after cover up plagues the city in gross disparity compared to other cities, APD's issues continue to bewilder even the most honest fan--low staffing, increased expenses, bottomless morale, and expensive hi-price toys being run by people with little or no law enforcement experience, and the list goes on.

With the city in such a disastrous state, why would anybody want to invest money here? Obviously they wouldn't. And in fact that little bit of information was buried in yesterday's Albuquerque Journal. You see venture capital is at an all-time low and has continued it's slide into non-existence since, you guessed it, Berry's election. (READ IT HERE)  Folks, you can't make this stuff up.  These are facts and all have verifiable sources to prove these facts.

What is venture capital? In basic terms it's simply money private people or investment groups invest in private companies to get them off the ground. It's a reflection of the optimism in a given economy. People invest their money with the expectation of a return and here in Albuquerque, it seems there is NO HOPE for a return thanks to the policies of RJ Berry. No seed money, no growth. It's that simple.

And while we have Berry to thank for implementing his failed policies, we have the cast of official and unofficial advisers surrounding him. It is much as their advise as Berry's implementation that have brought this city to it's knees. So a vote for Berry is a vote for the despicable.
RECIPE FOR DESPICABLE

RJ Berry, Rob Perry, Kathy Levy, Paul Kennedy, Tito Madrid, David Tourek, Jay McCleskey, Sherman McCorkle, Susana Martinez, Allen Weh, Darren White, TJ Wilham, Allen Banks, Heather Wilson, and of course Ray Schultz.

Here is the big question: is this a recipe for cooks or crooks?  We all know the real answer...

You forgot to add Schultz's 'enforcer' POC (not) Independent Reveiew Officer Robin Hammer to your list.

She is a Schultz puppet in totality. Walks, talks and regurgitates what Schultz commands her to do.

Heather Wilson is on the short list for dean for a college out of South Dakota even she may leave.

Look at that crew a true motley crue! all who have worked for either just themselves or special interests. never for the people.

Eye, you forgot Joe Martinez.

And Sigala... Speaking of which...Weber, since you're sending out all of these nice cute emails, how bout telling us what's going on with our lawsuit? Or did that go away in the court of appeals? Funny, elsewhere across the country police/fire fighter unions were winning their lawsuits. Not here though. Kinda hard when the APOA lawyer has dinner and drinks with city lawyers......

We wonder if any of the law enforcement officers involved in the capture and killing of the Boston Marathon bombers will be disciplined for being seen and taped HIGH FIVING/FIST BUMPING and pretty much celebrating the event.. If they worked for Schultz they would... What's going on with Doyle & Woolever....

Anonymous said...

Which Feds are you talking about? There are so many and yet nothing is getting done.

Anonymous said...

Mark my words.... No one will go to jail.. If charges are brought all those involved will take a plea... If it even gets that far. They will be treated by the DA like every other scumbag. Allowing people charged with their 3rd and 4th DWI to plea to no drivers license. There is NO JUSTICE SYSTEM in NM....

Anonymous said...

Really? When? The Feds knew one of the Boston Bomber Brothers had ties to an Islamic organization two years ago and they did nothing. Thanks but no thanks on the federal assistance. They are like TJ, they watch and eat and do nothing to aid and then take all the credit after it happens.

Schultz wants to stay in Albuquerque with his Butt F _ _ king buddy Darren. He applied for the head of security @ CNM and Beth wrote a letter of recommendation for him. If CNM had any sense, they stay clear of both these a holes.

I guess I'm not in touch but WTF is happening with everyone saying things are unraveling and people going to prison? Explain explain,,,, Much Love

Hey RayRay and TJ while you are busy media whoring about Boston want to answer for the nearly daily call outs for EOD for the past year here? Acid bombs in the heights recently, years of small explosions all over town, and you are no where in the media but Boston has one and you jump up to say how you could prevent it.
Before you answer how here it is just neighborhood kids so were Boston's.

no one is going to prison, this all an attempt to make you read this.

"Wait for what is coming". Let's take stock, shall we? Warning: sarcasm IS coming. Comacho -came and lost. Doyle - came and lost but he might sue, right? His case will be HUGE and will stop everything. Steroid cops - some employed, some quit. Bret L-T - still employed and taking calls the field. Casaus - still employed. And whatever happened to Han? Yeah, keep waiting IT is coming. And while we are waiting, vote for Heh. I am done waiting and done reading this site. I will stick with the comics and sit in the corner with the crazies. Right next to the Eye's beloved Regulator.

Wahooooooo PSA's to the rescue! And response times now don't matter! And processing a scene is not considered part of an investigation!!! I am so fuck'n happy I retired while APD was still a POLICE DEPARTMENT because now its a fuck'n joke!!! And 1031pm....don't be so sure about that,........

Anonymous said...

I read that article in the Journal today about the PSA plan...... Hahahahahaha.....
Anyone and I mean anyone who takes that job is insane. We all know that APD is famous for hiring PSA's then fucking them over when they apply to the department. This is just another political ball washing by Schultz before he runs away and hides like the chump he is. There will be 800 officers by the end of the year. Yes APD is falling apart, and everyone is running out the back door like the place is on fire.... So yes, shit is coming unhinged and people are going to prison. Ask Buckner why he suddenly retired and now works at Sandia Labs. Musta been that perjury. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

0610....um, what's the name of that crew that's here...they're from Wash D.C. ...oh yeah, DOJ. The mere fact that they are here and the consent decree that is forthcoming should make you think twice about being so stupid. But then again, when APD loses $10 Million dollar lawsuit, that too doesnt count as anything huh? It's ok, we know you're having coffee all by yourself because everybody else has left the party.

Anonymous said...

If you have no confidence in APD don't worry, the 18 year olds who just got out of high school last spring will help restore your confidence. Plus they cannot legally carry a gun so no chance they will shoot you.
We changed the recruitment rules. To be an Officer you have to have college because that makes you more level headed and better able to handle situations. The PSAs have no college though and are now going to be taking some of the call types that led to violent confrontations.
The Chief's PSA daughter is not allowed to work the field because it is too dangerous for her, Why are you willing to send other people's children where you will not send your own?

The city hasn't lost a ten million dollar lawsuit. They will appeal and the Ellis family will settle for less. Nothing has changed. The DOJ has been here since November and nothing has changed. This blog provides a good service for people who want to know what is going on within the department but don't say "just wait" so many times because readers get annoyed.

Anonymous said...

Really, the city didn't lose the lawsuit? C'mon you were there the whole time, don't you pay attention? Nothing has changed? Wow, fewer coppers than ever before, Schultz is leaving, endless turnover amongst deputy chiefs... Go ahead and get annoyed because more is coming...you'll see. Ha Ha charade you are!

How does Nate Korn know what to say on Frank Tillman's behalf at the LEA Board at the January meeting? Why is there no media of Daniel Burge, Brad Ahrensfeld, and others going before the Board this month?
Read the minutes here to see word for word how the Board is manipulated case by case. Sure Ray makes a point to recuse himself but when he does Nate Korn presents evidence he had no legitimate way of knowing.

Just wait.... Till Proctor gets out of the butt doctor's office for treatment of his butthurtitis. The regulator must have really hurt his feelings. Its funny that Proctor was just tweeting his immature own whistle blowing bullshit online just before here. Proctor and his daddy Ray's feelings are hurt. Proof again that the asshat does absolutely no research before opening his rooster perch. Read proctors twitter. He sounds like a spoiled kid with no life. No wonder he does everything all by his lonesome. Dork.

The city lost that lawsuit on summary judgement. If you had a clue, you would know that that alone is rare, because a case is usually settled by the losing party prior to crashing and burning like Levy and Lampiris did in that courtroom. Lampiris will be the luckiest man in the world if he dosen't get indicted now. And it all happened because of the egos of Schultz Levy and the rest of the corrupt criminals who have had their feelings hurt by Ellis. They run on arrogance stupidity and vindictiveness. Oh yea, and I forgot.... LIES. The city did what they have always done. Stepped in it and then dug in instead of just admitting they were wrong. They screwed up, and refused to admit they were wrong. Just like the next batch of lawsuits coming their way. The city is screwed and they know it. If I were the judge I would award damages x's 2 in an appeal just for the arrogance and stupidity of the city attorney in filing it. That trial was disgraceful, and they deserved to lose it. Now everyone is going to use Levy's affirmations against her and the city down the line to destroy discredit and eviscerate them into the unemployment line.
And just in case you don't know the DOJ is asking a whole hell of a lot of questions about the practices of these blatant liars. Levy, Schultz, and the rest of them. Just because your ill informed and ignorant ass is not in the loop does not mean shit isn't coming. I seem to remember someone saying the DOJ wasn't coming either. I will tell you what, Why don't you take a walk down to the federal building and spill your sarcasm to their faces. Until then, Stick to your piss yellow journalism and corny assed road trips.

Hire half cops without guns......
You can't make this shit up!
This guy is a clown.
Abq should throw a party on central when this guy leaves.
They can't get people out of their mind enough to take a job as an officer with APD, so they hire a bunch of PSA's?!?!
Talk about liability!
Sit back and enjoy the show.
Hahahahahahahaha.
The future inmate is running the asylum.

Ray is full of shit. He recuses himself after making phone calls and calling in favors. He couldn't do shit on a fair and level playing field. He is the poster child for what civil cases are for. The LEA board will be getting plowed under as things come to light too. Everything that Ray has touched will be abolished. Take that to the bank Jeff.

Anonymous said...

Here's one for ya Ray. A guy bombs Boston and kills a cop and they take him in alive, but here a kid rants on his front porch with a spoon in his hand and gets shot in the back by a cop with an AR15. A cop who shot two other unarmed people.

@ 44/22/13 610am-Are you talking about Orlando Camacho? You say I came and lost? The 5th floor and District Attorney played dirty and I was found not guilty, that's a victory. In the civil case, Shultz red face as he stormed out of the courtroom after another verdict in my favor, priceless and another victory. Having the proof that Shultz, Levy and Feist are liars, another win. Going to bed at night with my dignity for not accepting money to take Shultz name off of the verdict against him, I'll take that win to my grave. I can go on and on, but for you to call it a lost, I respectfully tell you that you are wrong.

You are a true practicer of Pollyannaism. Hahahahahaha. When you pull your head out of the sand you will realize that the loser chief is stepping down before he gets thrown out. Two pathetic lying unqualified deputy chiefs fled like chickens from coyotes. The DOJ is here. I've lost track of the lawsuits. 10 million gone and yes the city will pay it. The chiefs boys all retiring because they know their asses are at the bottom of the food chain now. The next year is going to be glorious. The bullies are going to get what they've been giving. Stay tuned mister sarcasm. Oh yea, you aren't reading the Eye anymore because you've worn out your stories by beating a dead horse. You can only revisit the same story so much before people dont read your crap anymore.

Sounds like the APOA will be looking for another president soon. I hear GW sent out a letter to the membership making some rather derogatory statements as to the nature of the concerned citizens that have been voicing their opinions at Police Oversight Commission and City Council meetings.
I guess the Eye will have to add GW to the list.
