The smoking gun that reform is nothing but a sham. The DOJ being defrauded... More of this administration being caught with their thumb on the scale, and the CPOA circles the wagon as we catch them rigging a survey to protect their Director... AGAIN!

Folks, every once in a while, people just get caught. Sometimes they get caught doing no bid contracts. Sometimes they get caught breaking laws, and most of the time they get caught lying. Most of the time here in this lying shit hole of corruption nothing is done about it, because everyone is complicit on both sides, unless you are someone they deem expendable and usually low level. 

What we have here are certain individuals trying to cover their tracks, and regroup after getting caught rigging what was supposed to be an anonymous survey. Well, it really wasn’t so anonymous. As a matter of fact, a list went out to only chosen proponents of the CPOA Director Edward Harness. 

Someone fucked up, and someone got caught! 

The really unbelievable and filthy thing here is the blatant arrogance in knowing they got caught, then admitting they should trash the results, start over, defraud the public and do another controlled, not so anonymous survey, because the first survey was filled out by so many “unapproved people.”

Two things here! Just what is their definition of unapproved people? There was a spot marked on that survey for stakeholders. Just who do they think stakeholders are? We as citizens are all stakeholders, as far as the DOJ definition was concerned. 

We have been saying for a very long time that this administration has been controlling investigations, framing people and playing God for way too long. Now here is one smoking gun of proof.

Look at the list of “approved people” that the list was sent to! A city councilor is on that list as are two reporters.

The city councilor is in a little hot water of his own over two of his family members being in hot water. One of them is an APD employee. Ask yourself this question. How is the Director supposed to be objective in investigations and rulings, when the guy approving him is the family member of someone being investigated, and may have a say on wether or not he is retained?

You want to know why things happen here that defy logic, makes the good people who tell the truth, live life honorably, and try hard to do what is right every day so sick and tired? You are looking at it. The below email is evidence that the public was going to be lied to through a totally bogus, and controlled survey. Not only that, but these board members want to speculate on who told everyone about this. More proof of latent retaliation. They are disturbed we found out. Funny thing is, we do not even know who sent it to us, but we commend them for their bravery and integrity.

We have been telling the Department of Justice for years that the Administration of the City of Albuquerque is a criminal enterprise. It is continuing.

Notice how the media was silent on this too. This was so blatant, but the media looks the other way, because if they confront it, they will be cut off from the access to the information and scoops they enjoy. Again proving much of what we have been saying.

In Albuquerque, it can never be about what is right can it? These motherfuckers will never learn that there will ALWAYS be people with integrity, who will shine the light on this cowardice.

ANYONE who thinks that it is s joke to play games with the truth... play games with peoples lives... play games with efforts to fix this mess, or make money, take care of their asshole friends, or conduct lucrative personal networking by rigging the reform process, and defrauding everyone, needs their life turned upside down, and inside out. They need to feel like they live in a juice blender tied to the front end of a roller coaster. Let’s see if that political favor down the road is worth it.

We thought the letter Gordon Eden wrote to all commanders warning the APD employees to stop talking to the DOJ was obstructing a federal investigation. We thought the emails stating the deal between the city and Taser was “greased,” along with taking a job with Taser after greasing that deal was enough to indict Schultz for pay to play, and we thought surreptitiously video taping the federal monitor BY APD command staff, in order to extort a positive evaluation of APD was enough for extortion charges. Obviously someone is missing it, needs to borrow a set of balls, or just flat out needs someone to do their job for them.

If this isn’t enough to put the brakes on shit, and start another investigation, what is? When is enough going to be enough? It is obvious that this new administration isn’t getting it either. What is it going to take to get some punishment around here?

For what all of this is worth, many people on both sides of the fence knew this was going on, and they chose to keep their fucking mouths shut.

We won’t. Fuck You liars!

Keller, you own this. Do not think you are going to play RJ Berry any longer. Get the fuck up. Take off the cute football jersey, and grow a set of balls. We all know this administration does not have the skin thick enough to deal with what we bring to the table. We have been quiet long enough.

Right the wrongs. Get rid of the crooked. Fix the past. Pave for the future, and forget about the “I” in your personal agendas.

We want to know what the “approved” and “unapproved” people said in that survey that makes the CPOA want to do a redo. If the mayor wants to prove he is transparent, he needs to call for the unedited publishing of the entire survey.

We would like to apologize for our long vacation. We have been working on some very important stories, like the new police use of force bill being proposed in state legislature, and the possible story of a mayor who rolled over his car while drunk many years ago as a teenager, and was arrested for it, and an officer who lied under oath about being part of a political favor to get promoted, after the force he used was deemed excessive, causing the death of a man, among many other leads. It is not going to be a very good year for some malfeasants this time around.

We may or may not lose some readers over this, but we will not withhold the truth because of it, and we will not keep you from having your opinion. We just can not stomach people being made fools of through manipulation, under the guise of being righteous.

Over the years of the previous administration we have seen Schultz and former ASSistant City Attorney Kathryn Levy lie every single day about what was going on here. We are not going to rehash what we all know Schultz has done here, but we are going to address the legacy that coward left behind; the one that is continuing to permeate the place with filth and violence, and the one that will drag this administration down if it is not addressed and put to bed.

We have outlined, stepped out, and proven in numerous articles how corrupt the Berry administration was, and the methods they have used to deflect and obstruct detection and accountability at all levels.
 We have provided numerous exhibits of perjury under testimony by Schultz, and his replacements
like Eden. We have shown you testimony where they have not lied only once but over and over again.

If you were to lie just once under oath your credibility would be revoked for life but not these scum bags. These filthy vermin get free pass after free pass, and more consideration given to the trash that comes out of their mouths than should be given to a convicted child molester.

You see... our city has been taken over by violent crime, and it is the fault of the past administration, because they have turned everyone on each other as a distraction, while they walked away with full pockets. Their political allies are still trying to do it through their attempts to still keep their claws in things.

The recent decision in former officer Jeremy Dear’s case was a prime example of a judge remiss in his duties of upholding the law... one who cowardly chose to break the law, by adding his own opinion, in order to carry the water for the very same political criminal enterprise who he just helped. In reading the decision released to the media, it is obvious this judge lacked the balls to make the right decision, and decided to give more credibility to criminally malfeasant public officials who lie to the people and media, while defrauding the courts, than to a labor board who saw through lies told by Gorden Eden and other commanders.

Remaining consistent is the key to going after corruption and many lose sight if this by letting emotion take over. You can not give credibility to the proven incredible like Schultz, Eden and the city attorney’s office for one thing, because of a blanket feeling of distrust of police officers that is actually the result of an out of control culture of corruption allowed from the top, while calling for punishment and accountability for their criminal acts that put the city in this position. In essence, you can not put the criminal on the witness stand as a competent witness, when they have all been found to be corrupted liars, because it fits what you want to happen as a desired outcome. If you do, you are no better than they are.

Those within the previous administration, some still here, and some still in the city attorney’s office tampered with evidence, fabricated evidence, permitted perjury, lied, defrauded courts, and betrayed the definition of a government attorney and public servant to serve their own agendas. When caught, those responsible for punishing these fucks decided that they didn’t want to hurt any feelings where anywhere else in the country the prison sentences and plea bargaining would have already been over. Extortion. Intimidation, RICO, RACKETEERING, pay to play, kickbacks, fraud, waste, and countless other federally chargeable felonies just go unanswered for. Only in New Mexico!

Bear with us, because you, the public were hoodwinked, and used as the court of public opinion in the Dear case to cover for Ray Schultz’s greased Taser deal. Just as many other individuals were used
as a smoke screen for the feds by Schultz and gang, through the crafty treachery of Kathryn Levy, this
was an important one, and those in the city attorney’s office who were a part of it then, are still a part
of it. Schultz and Levy May have fled, but their hands are in this.

When the city administration under Richard Berry attacked the judiciary, and blamed them for the
state of affairs we were vocal in saying that their excuse WAS NOT the cause of the crime epidemic,
because just as there are some bad apples in law enforcement, there are bad apple judges. There is a small percentage of judges who fail in their duties. This failure is politically motivated, and make no
mistake... it is willful. Nobody is beyond reproach, and it is time that anyone who does not do their
job gets called out on it, and kicked the fuck out.

Recently we were made aware of a website that is calling out judges who do not want to do the right thing. If you can not do what you are hired to, then you need to be fired. The problem here is that a
judge is the last line of defense that a person relies on for justice. A judge should be the ultimate anti-bully, but here in New Mexico we have a few cowards who are afraid to make the hard, but proper decision due to politics and manipulated public opinion. They need to be humbled, and shown the fucking door.

your murder, kill you with their stolen car, murder a police officer, kill a mother and her kids, murder their own child and bury them in the playground sand, burn your house down, rape your child, shoot
you, and your family in your own driveway, kill your family in a drunken car crash, do a drive by shooting, be a getaway driver, eat your child, ram your police car, or take your life for doing your job,

played on by some of the lowest forms of slithering life, masquerading as police chiefs, mayors, chief

This was perfectly orchestrated using the current wave of ill feelings towards law enforcement. We do want you to understand that some very stupid police officers did some very stupid things that precipitated the situation too, but the previous administration covered for most of them. You all know we have called out bad actions by officers who should have never been hired, but you need to know
what was done here, and how your emotions were used against you in this case, because this is still Schultz in play, and actions are still being undertaken to mop up his mess.

We are not here to attack Mary Hawkes. This article is only here to highlight what is really going on.

Dear was not ordered to activate his body camera, and the administration lied about that. That is the truth.

The Taser cameras had an inherent flaw, where the wires pulled out of them. Dear told Eden that on
the night of the shooting, and Eden was okay with that until all of the sudden... something went sideways. That something was TASER and keeping the DOJ at bay.

Since the inception of the DOJ coming into our city, and conducting an investigation into the Albuquerque Police Department, the only objective of Ray Schultz, the city attorney’s office, Mayor Richard Berry, and CAO Robert Perry was to protect Schultz from going down, so they didn’t follow him, and they all did this through an elaborate scheme to distract the DOJ through the abuse of their positions, while railroading selected targets, that they turned into high profile cases. For almost every
issue, there was a fabricated case, and the unprecedented push back and retaliation for fighting back
and exposing their actions defied belief. You all look at the payouts in lawsuits, but millions were
spent in cases that were thrown out there to deflect attention away from this administration, that were
utterly fabricated. It is a known fact that Eden was caught lying in the Dear case.

There is no denying Eden was put in place by Susana Martinez to carry the water, and do as he was told, because they could not afford an outsider getting in there, and exposing what Schultz had done through being an honest leader. This culture spilled over, as replacements were, and are chosen, who will do as they were told, and who were loyal to their predecessors. This is why we have a big problem with people we thought would be gone, but we’re retained, or brought back.

We all remember Darren White, Schultz, and the rest of the cowards who ran away, or were forced to flee when the feds started looking at APD. We all remember that all of the sudden, “we are cleaning up APD... STAINS ON THE BADGES... Ray is the man for the job” short lived, propaganda campaign that was started by those clowns in their failed attempts to fool the DOJ into not looking
into APD right? Because, this is what it all comes down to.

Because of the actions of those criminals who are no longer here, because they are collecting
pensions, the city is a mess, and speaking of a mess, now we are going to discuss just how deadly some woman are in our city.

Who wants to argue why now we are the number one state in crime.

Over the last couple years we have seen many comments on social media coming from folks who are essentially do not know the facts on the Dear / Hawkes case.

Hawkes had a gun that night, and there was discussion by high ranking staff that they should suggest it may be a throw down... That is until it was discovered there was social media buzz about her having that gun prior to her being shit. The breaks were then put on that lie in progress. You cab read about it below:

Dear’s Attorney fought back against the administration, and they did not like that.

Thomas Grover was Dear’s Attorney and the city, attorney’s office hates his guts for exposing the corruption.

Taser was involved, and the city would not have credibility given to the fact that Ray Schultz greased a pay to play contract between the city and Taser for sub-par equipment, where the wires pull out of them under normal use.

Knowing what we have known all along, that a mere field officer is easier to use as a distraction, than just being honest when caught, the culture of using certain officers while protecting the criminal ones caused a sentiment within APD where officers were not going to be used as the next scapegoat for in the line of duty actions, so they shut down. Because of this, crime is out of control. In case anyone is missing it, above is a list of stories that should be read by anyone doubting a teenager will kill you dead, especially when we have fifteen year old little girls leading police in pursuits, and crashing in our state.

We are asking that you do not continue to let the ones responsible for this laugh in the shadows, while this entire city is at war with itself, and the joke is on the public.

We are also asking that judges who can not legally do the job they are sworn to do, be removed from their positions come retention time.

We will continue to monitor the current administration for signs of positive change, because we believe bold measures need to be undertaken to make things right.

Apologies will sometimes work but there needs to be a broad reopening of investigations and cases involving the above named individuals. If there was wrongdoing, it needs to be made right and if crimes were committed or parties agreed to conspire to violate individual civil rights, prosecution needs to be undertaken.

Nothing less is acceptable.

We hope this latest message helped those confused here about why all of this is going on understand that some really slimy motherfuckers are behind pulling the wool over your eyes, while they make out nicely, and get away with committing felony level crimes on the backs of public servants and the public itself.

Make no mistake about it, thise that started this are still trying to cover their tracks and judges like Campbell who tried to give credence to a lying regime are remiss and negligent in their duties by evading their duties for politics. Anyone can make shit up to pass the buck but a man and a good judge makes the hard decisions. Cowards take the easy way out. Coward.

On 8/11/16 the Washington Post did an article on our Albuquerque fraud quasi mayor Richard J Berry, lauding him as some kind of great guy, and innovative thinker, for his Homeless work program. On 12/29/16, the same newspaper named this joker one of their top eleven most inspirational people for 2016, in reference to the same program. We somehow think the list stood at 10, until someone called in a favor. Most lists are top ten lists. As if it is not obvious, Berry, and his band of asshats were starting their ramp up for Berry's run for the Governor's race, and we all know how politics goes.

When it comes to propaganda, we all know that the fools who think they are running this city think they are the ones fooling everyone. They are only able to fool the gullible.

Everyone knows how heinous of a mayor Berry has Been for Albuquerque, when you look at what he has done to this city. Bodies are being found on the streets just laying there dead. Old ladies in wheelchairs are being run over. A man was found behind a shopping center with his head and genitals chopped off. Valiant Printing, a family owned business for almost a century is closing. Macy's is closing. 65 year old Beauchamp Jewelers is closing. Morning side Antiques is closed. The Desert Sands Motel is demolished. El Vado motel is sitting there. Dozens and dozens of other businesses have gone out of business, or moved away. Several ATM machines have their computer screens shot full of bullet holes. A nut goes on a fire bug spree, throwing bombs, and burning Starbucks, Old Navy, and Barnes and Nobles stores across the city for days, before being caught. The city just had a ridiculous amount of accidents two weeks ago, because city officials neglected their duties to the public, and stayed in bed, rather than salt the roads, then they lied about it. Children are being slaughtered by the twos and threes at a time. The schools are falling apart. Employees get shot at in the parking lots of their own employers when checking on their vehicles. Houses are being burglarized like it is a free for all. Auto thefts are through the roof. Shootings are multiple, and every day, along with stabbings, as are SWAT callouts. Babies are shot to death in road rage incidents. The homeless are on every street corner. Stray dogs run through the streets like it is Mogadishu. We have a police department under consent decree. We have a former police chief under investigation for corruption. The police chief, his deputies and a good portion of commanders fled when the DOJ came. The current police chief has had a perjury complaint filed on him. Gun shops are ransacked at will, and dozens of stolen weapons are on the streets. Driving on I40 and I25 can get you run off the road, or shot at, never mind being held up by reckless marauders doing donuts, stunts and burnouts on the highway, like Albuquerque has no police department. How many more animals are going to die out of neglect at the Albuquerque zoo, only to be callously thrown into a trashcan? The Paseo Road project looks like a bunch of drunk crackheads, suffering from vertigo poured the concrete. They should have painted the retaining wall in a snake skin pattern. It would have worked!

A true leader takes responsibility for what happens under their watch. A nutless coward, blames others, makes excuses, allows his minions to blame others, and allows others to face the music for his piss poor management. This is RJ Berry. YOU VETOED THE DOJ RJ? If Berry were a soldier he would be hiding behind women children and hamsters.

Throughout his pathetic two terms Berry has been a liar, and a coward. That is the best we can say he is. He gets no better than that. When the Boyd shooting happened, he made sure he was out of Dodge. He went MIA. He must be the only mayor without a work cell phone. Oh, that is right, his phone didn't work in Brasil. How many times was Mister Inspirational conveniently not here when the heat was on? Every time! He shows up at no court appearances. He never shows up at city council meetings. He runs for cover every time there is a controversy, until his group of liars can cobble up a story to put in his mouth. This idiot is always talking about moving forward with progress, but is never anywhere to be found, unless he is in front of a captive, supportive, controlled audience, that symbiotically benefits from his malfeasance. The Washington Post was half right. Berry is inspirational... inspirational for how not to be as a man. Certainly not as a Governor!

One of the first things Berry claimed he would do if elected would be to get rid of Ray Schultz, but after getting in, and seeing that THAT liar was the glue holding the corruption together, and keeping the malfeasant machine rolling, he realized that removing him wouldn't be profitable. Berry kept Schultz, and bought into everything that was going on here by doing so.
As we go forward, we are going to outline why certain people are mainly responsible for what has happened to our city. You have seen through our postings how many of the crimes committed by this administration were perpetrated, and we have named names, and provided evidence. A long time ago, we told you that they would attack anyone who brings scrutiny upon them, and we have a letter written to the federal monitor, calling out the city, and predicting this. We called it when the federal monitor released his first scathing report. This past week we have seen the city fulfill this prophecy. Individuals who have met with the Department of Justice a long time before their findings had outlined just how the Administration of the City of Albuquerque is a Criminal Enterprise, with an extensive network, and infrastructure in place to support, and promote their mission, complete with an arm of propaganda.

One of the big issues that sticks out is how not one person in this administration will admit when they are wrong. They will lie. If that does not work, they make up their own version of what happened, governed by rules set by them. They tell you the sky is red until you either forget to keep asking them, or you just go away. Over the years they have always counted on wearing people out when it comes to the truth. You can tell a lie, but when nobody hears it, it does not matter. This is where their propaganda infrastructure comes in at.

Amazon owns the servers that were used by Taser AXON up until the end of 2015.

Jeff Bezos is the founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of amazon.com. He is worth 70.3 billion dollars. He was initially from Albuquerque New Mexico. Nash Holdings LLC owns the Washington Post. Nash Holdings is owned personally by Jeffrey Bezos. When you are scratching your head wondering "just why would a Washington newspaper write two articles out of the blue praising a failure of a mayor a thousand miles away in Albuquerque," it is because none of these clowns can get positive biased coverage, without a 1 degree separation from the person willing to print their horse shit propaganda." Everything is a favor, a payback, or favor being called in on. Favors are not free.

Berry, you are a fraud and failure. You will not be the next New Mexico Governor. Under your administration there has been nothing but enrichment of corrupt, selfish public officials, both now, and invested as kickbacks down the line. Taser and Schultz are in the middle of it. You have used officers as a smoke screen to cover for corrupt, illicit activities, in order to deflect attention, and fool the DOJ. Your retaining of Schultz cost the city everything, and almost every fiscal issue can be linked back to the illegal "greased" contract with Taser, that Schultz facilitated through the abuse of his position, with legal cover provided to him by former city attorney Kathryn Levy; all using our tax dollars. If this is not a racketeering, RICO based criminal enterprise, nothing is!

The attrition rate of officers, and morale issues that plague the place are a result of what Schultz started to cover his tracks with former city attorney Kathryn Levy. Gorden Eden carries on the tradition with Jessica Hernandez. The results of these cowardly actions put us in a place where crime is out of control, because many officers retired or quit. Because there are no officers, response times are through the roof, and the criminals are emboldened, and out of control because of a direct lack of proactive policing. Police are not proactive, because they are understaffed, there is no backup, and they are terrified of being the next flavor of the month for an administration that will scapegoat, and use them the first minute they need to distract attention away from their public corruption.

As a result of Schultz putting all of the city's eggs into the Taser basket, the department became "stuck" with a system, and equipment that requires such embedded dedication, that it would be cheaper to stay with the devil you know, rather than re-equip, and outfit with a source that may be better. So we either choose to spend 5 million dollars to stay with a company that set the snare, or cut the umbilical from the same company who's contract reeks of pay to play, and is under criminal investigation. Because of things set into motion by Ray Schultz, and this administration, under a mayor who plays stupid, and hides from scrutiny, we can not afford to have salt trucks out on our streets. There is a tens of millions of dollars shortfall for Berry's silly ass Rapid Transit Fiasco that is suffocating small businesses in this city. Millions of dollars are getting paid out in lawsuits. The city is breaking IPRA request laws like they do not exist, and the city attorney pulls the biggest horse shit excuses out of her dirty ass to cover for a circus that it defies logic, assaults your common sense, insults your intelligence, and makes a mockery out of the truth. As all of this transpires, we have another worthless failure, Susana Martinez, in Santa Fe calling for everyone to tighten their belts because of their screw ups. Funny.... We have never seen her wear a belt. Maybe she can't wear one after all of that pizza and coke. Someone should buy her a new pair of Spanx. Looks like she wore her old ones out.

Well folks, it is obvious we have a network of individuals working hard to foul the place up for everyone else while their lives get better. We are glad that we at least have a team of federal attorneys willing to step up, and put a foot in the collective asses of the biggest bunch of ignorant, insolent, arrogant, lying, cowardly pieces of dog shit to ever hold office. We here at the Eye would like to thank those at the DoJ civil rights division for laying it out with class; namely Luis Saucido, Ruth Keegan, Elizabeth Martinez, Corey Sanders, and Patrick Kent. The city attorney does not deserve your patience or respect. And to Dr. Ginger, it is okay to say this is the worst place you have ever had to deal with. Take the fuckin gloves off. Many here stand with you. Next time we hope to mention the USDOJ Criminal Division. It is a long time coming.

Hopefully we have connected a few more dots, BUT before we go, we must address the disgusting comment that came out of Celina Espinosa's pie hole... How dare you call the accusation of "LIAR" leveled at Police Chief Gorden Eden not fair, because he was testifying from recollection? Look at the transcript of good old Gorden Eden's recent deposition, where he described his great memory. Hmmmm.... funny how you treacherous liars expect cover when you make up lies on others in order to call them liars. We here at the Eye think there has never been a more dishonorable bunch of simpletons in one Administration. Well... Celina... Gorden thinks he has a great memory!

You don't decieve, and fight so hard to keep an innocent honest mistake from coming to light unless the mistake isn't so honest or innocent! Dishonorable liars.

The blame game put forth by this lying, criminal enterprise we call a city administration is getting better by the minute. We came across video of a civilian police oversight meeting, where members of the CPOA were discussing being told by the city attorney Jessica Hernandez, and Chief Administrative Officer Robert Perry, that Taser's evidence.com / AXON data storage may have been hacked. We here at the Eye are getting a kick out of this. We bet next they will be blaming little green men for stealing the computer from the evidence room. Watch it here:

You see, now these malfeasants need an excuse for videos going missing, because they know they are caught, and who do they blame?!? The vendor they are involved in a "diametrically different" bid / contract deal with. That's right folks! These liars can not keep their plans or stories strait from one day to the next. They can not keep a line on their lies. This place has become a lie factory under their watch. It is absolutely ludicrous, and there is no honor or loyalty between thieves.

The city wants to award a contract to a company who's internet security they do not have faith in, and believe may have been compromised. Of course we know this is a ruse to cover for their own actions, but we wonder what Taser has to say about these allegations. Time will tell, as these morons dig their hole deeper and deeper.

We think it is about time a few people step down, maybe put the Scotch down, debloat, sober up, and cut a deal with the feds soon. Perry, Schultz, and Berry should think about cooperating with the feds, and giving themselves up because the inevitable is already in motion.

LETTER FROM KARI BRANDENBURG TO THE FEDS

Above is the letter former Bernalillo County District Attorney Kari Brandenburg wrote to the Department of Justice. The letter sums up what has been going on perfectly, and really rounds out an opinion of this regime from every angle now. The citizens, officers within, and now the DA's office all concur that a criminal enterprise is afoot here. We think it's not only something we all agree on, but it will be a major point in this election.

One final thing. In late December a Bernalillo county grand jury returned an indictment on the piece of shit that murdered our brother Daniel Webster. We here at the Eye will not engage or promote a bickering contest or debate the handling of this prosecution. What we will do is put it to bed right now.

There are many times cases get handed off to other prosecutors, wether it be more resources, or better funding. There are a multitude of reasons this happens. Our sources close to things have told us that the New Mexico Attorney Generals office took this case, and the family of Daniel feels good that they did. That is all that matters. The Bernalillo County DA's office is in transition right now, and we believe they would be able to handle this case just as well, but a little help from the state is not a bad thing considering the inundation the county is facing right now. We will leave it at that. We do not believe this was a political maneuver. It was a resourceful tactic. God bless you Dan. We miss you.

THE EPITOME OF HYPOCRISY

For the last year you wouldn't have even known Ray Schultz was the assistant chief of anywhere with the low profile he has been keeping. It seems he is getting a little bold, and decided to poke his head out into the light, despite being under investigation, and this is what we here at the Eye discovered in social media. We think you too will be amazed at this guys hypocrisy and audacity. This is our response to his rhetoric. Although some of his examples may be true about the way officers are being treated, it is beyond our restraint to tolerate it coming from his mouth considering his track record and past.

We all know how conniving Ray is, and what he is trying to do here. Ray is hoping that if action is taken criminally against him for what he did here, those he is fleecing in Texas will support him, feel sorry for him, and not turn on him because of the way he is acting now. Too late for that. He is already working the angle just like Ray does.

To both of you police chiefs,

How dare either of you open your mouths about the degradation of law enforcement in our country, or lie about the real reason why good officers are leaving police departments; especially you Ray Schultz. You actually have the guts to talk about officers feeling like they will be abandoned, terminated ridiculed and prosecuted? You wrote the book on treating your officers that way. Now you want to express your grief over tragedy? You actually have the guts to cry about police chiefs having to retire early because they do not have the fortitude to stand up like a man, and do the jobs they are paid well above their officers to do? Are you really going to take the stance that the media pressure is too much for you police executives? No leader ever cries that pressure is too much to bear when sticking up for his men. And you are right about police chiefs running away. Both of you left your departments while under scrutiny, because both of you are cowards. You do not resign, retire or run when you are right.

And Ray Schultz, you hypocrite and liar. There was a tragedy in your own former police department not long ago where an officer who worked under you as you were the chief was murdered. You and your boss JD, both ignored that, because neither of you wanted your past to follow you. You did not want anyone there to know anything more than the superficial facts of you being from New Mexico, and you did not want them finding out anything about your work history. You knew if you posted a Facebook condolence, it would bring attention to you there. You are a disgrace. After all of the things that you have done, or have ordered done to your officers in the Albuquerque police department over the years to violate their civil rights, I find your words here to be the utmost in hypocrisy, and blatant attempt to be the opposite of what you are; a dishonorable liar. Argue this, and I will provide mountains of evidence of you lying under oath. You say "Law enforcement is an interesting profession, as it is the only job where sometimes you can do everything right, or to the best of your ability, and someone will still not be happy." Then you have the audacity to talk about how the media portrays officers? You must have forgotten everything you have done in your career! The evidence room scandal, the no bid contracts, the Taser scandal that YOU ARE CURRENTLY UNDER GRAND JURY INVESTIGATION FOR. Tell the people of Memorial Villages Texas what you did to your officers in order to keep the Department of Justice from investigating your former agency, and finding out about all of the illegal things you have done. Tell them how you used the television media, and the Albuquerque Journal Newspaper to spread your lies, in order to judge officers you wanted to frame for political reasons, when they did their jobs. Tell your citizens there Ray, about how you directed investigations to frame officers in order to retaliate against them for speaking out against corruption or to distract a federal investigation away from you, then how cases were settled to make it all go away. Tell everyone how you covered for rampant sexual misconduct within the Albuquerque police department, and how you stifled studies and memorandums written to address the problems of this misconduct and officer suicides. You are nothing but a fraud. You could care less about your officers. What you have written here is the exact opposite of what you have exemplified for over thirty years in Albuquerque. You are an embarrassment, and betrayer to the oath that police officers take. You could have cared less about the community, as you sat in countless city council meetings, taunting and threatening older citizens of Albuquerque for justifiably criticizing you over your misconduct. Your dishonesty in countless depositions, and civil cases cost the city of Albuquerque over $30,000,000 in payouts. That is being modest. Everyone under your command, including you, fled a police department in meltdown, as soon as the Federal Department of Justice announced they were coming. The flow of police brass fleeing has not stopped since. No, police chiefs do not run away because their feelings are hurt. They run like you did to avoid scrutiny. What you wrote here is nothing but complete fluff to make the people of that community think you actually care about something more than filling your pockets with their money. The fallout from your malfeasance, has brought the APD attrition rate to an all time high, and they can not get officers to replace the ones leaving the department that you destroyed. They will be going to dangerous 12 hour shifts now, and it will continue to worsen. It is disgusting that you would take advantage of such a tragedy to paint yourself the pillar of justice, and protector of your troops while crying about pressures being put on you, that the likes of you alone created, when all these years you spread lies through the media about your employees, and department. Archive searches show just how much you got away with and deposition records show your compulsive dishonesty. Officers fled the Albuquerque police department as you tried to burn them like firewood to protect yourself. The truth about what is happening, is that officers are trying to do their job. They are caught between the media who spins information and perception against them, the criminals on the street who try and kill them, and coward police chiefs like you, and your politician handlers, who promote yourselves on their backs, by scapegoating, and using them at every turn, to deflect blame away from yourself for promoting poor behavior, and enriching yourselves, by abusing your position and influence, while betraying the trust of the public. Only a coward makes excuses or cries for pity during the tragedy suffered by another agency. A true leader makes change. They surely don't run when confronted, unless they have something to hide like you did. You did not even have the courage to stand up what you did when questioned. You gutlessly took the 5th. So go ahead and try to get ahead of this one by claiming you can't please everyone, calling sour grapes, and your favorite, the one you always fall back on, the disgruntled employee accusation, because there are boatloads of evidence where you were caught lying, and depositions were redone to correct your lies, you lied under oath at hearings, and your former city attorney Kathryn Levy permitted your perjury. It is no coincidence that she resigned early too. You have no defense, and anything you claim to refute this is just more lies.

The truth is that the officers who worked under your regime would rather face criminals with guns, rather then be set up by you, and retaliated against, when they stood up for themselves against you, and your criminal network.

You say that you are fortunate to work for your community? You are fortunate to still have your law enforcement certification, and not be indicted for your actions in Albuquerque, yet. You have never served with distinction, and you do not know the first thing about honor. Your final words are even more ironic as you have made not only mistakes, but deliberately committed dishonorable, disgusting and illegal acts, targeted people, retaliated against employees, and even destroyed innocent lives for your own gain and self preservation. You have owned nothing, and never did. Instead, you ran away twice from Albuquerque when the heat came down on you. You ran to Scottsdale the first time you retired, when the evidence room scandal hit under your watch, then you ran again to Texas as your efforts to stave off a federal investigation into APD failed, as you were piecing together your no bid Taser contract. This was because you were terrified of getting caught. Now, as you enjoy your second retirement like a coward, an entire city is in meltdown because of your actions, and officers are leaving a department you destroyed by doing exactly the opposite of the absolute crap you are feeding the citizens you serve now because you are desperate for a place to work, and know the only place that will take you is the place where you can call in a favor, or where you know somebody, especially after Taser let you go.

Everyone in Memorial Villages will see your true colors, no matter how hard you work to hide it. You are a fraud, and you made choices for yourself that ruined a city. Own that.

Maybe your attorney Louis Robles can speak for you, the same attorney you retained to defend you in the Taser matter, which happens to be the same one who you had on contract teaching at the academy for you for years among other things.

When Newspapers Fail

The Eye received the following as a guest posting in response to the Albuquerque Journal's unprecedented THREE story feature yesterday in support of the failed mayor of Albuquerque. We couldn't agree more with this writer:

In case there are any misunderstandings whether or not the Albuquerque journal (urinal)

editorial board, and those running that (for lack of a better description), perverse, yellow rag are

in cahoots with Mayor (for lack of another better word) Richard J. Berry, I am going to show that they are. We will show the disparity in reporting both sides of what is going on in Albuquerque, disregard for balance in reporting, intentional omissions of information, and facts that adversely affects their connections, and dealings with their close friends, aka Mayor Berry, in city government. I will outline the facts that show that a popular Albuquerque newspaper aligns itself time and time again with poor choices for political reasons, monetary reasons, vindictive reasons, and unethical reasons. Sometimes you are as good as thecompany you keep. Lets look at the Journal, and their company, those inside their company, and the ones who thought Albuquerque was a crowd when things started getting hot, and fled.

For the same reasons we do not like to give credence to perverts in the media, we will not post links to the Urinal articles, but we will reference their content, and illustrate how these articles manipulate public opinion for the benefit of Berry, by painting his critics as being disgruntled, or suffering from the effects of sour grapes, when they point out the undeniable facts of Berry's failure, while they praise Berry as he lies directly to your faces. Three articles were written on 1/17/16 about Mayor Berry, and the Albuquerque police department. One laid out a timeline, and the other two provided cover for the liar and accountability dodger, while painting him as the "better man" in a media perceived war over what he has done, and overseen being done to employees, and citizens during his malfeasant term in office. Make no mistake about it. The mayor and police chief have both stated publicly that Albuquerque is a mayor strong city. This means the mayor calls the shots, up until, of course, the time he needs to be distanced from the blunders, (Boyd shooting, Tasergate, Eden caught lying at personnel hearings, IPRA violation issues, APD manpower misrepresentations, FBI UCR crime stat manipulations, contract violations) then he sends in waves of information officers who bend information, and lie to the media and public. (Tanner Tixier: no such files exist, and Celina Espinosa when she said the elder gentleman can be seen reaching for something in a recent video where a K9 was released on him) Conveniently, Berry gets deniability through layers of cannon fodder between himself and the mistakes he has purveyed over until you, the public, get the truth, as in when back in March of 2014 during the Boyd protest down town, Eden attempted to make command decisions, and was told to sit down, and shut the F$&@ up by the mayor, and that the mayor was running things. The mayor knows of everything that has been done, and is complicit. The

difference is that YOU, the tax payer will fund the legion city attorneys to shield him from

accountability, and or pay to settle any case to keep him from exposure in any way. The Urinal

lauds this Mayor as "the better man" when he vetoed the DOJ resolution request to have the

DOJ enter the picture. Drug dealers on the corner would probably like to have the option to veto

police presence too. Lets not forget the e-mail sent out to supervisors, threatening employees not to talk to the DOJ by Gordon Eden.

The disgust meter goes up with the printing of article number two in our January 17th hat trick of

crap. This article discusses the rebuilding of the Albuquerque police department after former chief Raymond D. Schultz, Deputy Chief Paul Feist, Deputy then Chief Allen Banks, Deputy Chief Beth Paiz, former city attorney Kathryn Levy, resigned public safety director Darren White, CAO Robert Perry, and Mayor Berry destroyed the place by illegally breaching contracts, playing shell games with money, lying to the media, public and courts, bullied citizens employees and media executives, tampered with investigations, cases and witnesses, retaliated against citizens and employees, stole money earmarked as retention incentives to use as hush monies to keep the current command staff pacified, attacked families who were plaintiffs in wrongful death cases, ran smear campaigns against high value adversarial targets in the media in order to deflect attention away from themselves, politically preemptively, and maliciously attacked the District Attorney of Bernalillo county in order to take control of her office, and thwart prosecution of officers involved in the Boyd shooting, at a crucial time when they did not want the negative publicity while the DoJ was here. Lets not forget how they went after a popular district court judge, ruining his career, to deflect attention from their misconduct again, at a very key time in 2011, while Tasergate was developing on the drawing board, and the DoJ was looming. A fool could not see that these officials knew what they were doing, were actively conspiring to complete their initiative, and were doing anything they had to do in order to make sure they went undiscovered. The Albuquerque Urinal, and their perverted editorial board would have you believe Mayor Berry is absolutely clueless. We think not. I am sure no other officers

want to get shot by their Lieutenant, then get blamed by their command staff, and the city for getting shot. Maybe that has something to do with not wanting to work for APD?

Reading the aforementioned article, you can see Mayor Berry using the false reason, and excuse that employees retiring, and not returning is the reason for the high attrition. Employees retire to not work anymore. This is one reason why employees retire. We here at the Eye know for a fact that officers are retiring for other reasons. They are retiring, or RESIGNING, because the work atmosphere at the Albuquerque Police Department is atrocious, treacherous, and rife with retaliation, vindictive and criminal behavior, and childish attitudes, exhibited by high ranking police officials. The media knows this too, but they will not air it. They know that they will be thrown under the bus for mere workplace disagreements, or speaking out, just as former use of force instructor John Corvino was when he discovered that the department forged his name on a letter to the State Police Academy, and he spoke out about it. They are buying time to retire, and moving away. Berry wants to blame money, when he knows the reason is himself, the lunacy he enables, and the out of control, parasitic, lunatics running rampant on APD's 5th floor. No other reason. He also knows that he will not be held to task on his representation that money is the reason for declining APD manpower because he will be gone. Mayor Berry was the one who said Ray Schultz was the right man for the job, but he holds no responsibility for this mess because he is the "better man." I bet he is glad he said that. It is amusing how Berry

acknowledges the benign mistakes, like imposing college requirements on APD hires, but dodges reporters on the mistake of retaining Ray Schultz, and Kathryn Levy, who are now embroiled in Tasergate. As quick as the article praises Berry for being "the better man" and appearing to look past disagreements with critics within the police department, in the same breath, it shows how little he thinks of officers dedication, by blaming all of this on officer's greed. Berry's statements amount to pointing the finger at employee greed. That greed comes right back on him with what Schultz pulled, and the next article to be addressed. Berry says all of this because he knows that his term will be up before it is proven that money had nothing to do with any of this. Berry is only buying time, and making fools out of anyone stupid enough to fall for his lies. The manpower situation will not improve, because APD is notorious, and Berry owns that. Mike Gomez says “He’s like an ostrich in the sand. … He’s the master of deflection, that guy,” about Mayor Berry, and no truer words can be spoken. Misrepresentation, lying and claiming" being taken out of context" are Berry's greatest tools. It is amusing how Berry claims that Police reforms “did not start when the DOJ walked in the door." No they started when Berry heard they were about to kick down the door. Berry never wanted the light shined on Schultz's criminal enterprise, if not only just because it would sully his bid for the governor's office, and his actions proved it, starting when he vetoed city council's request. To top it all off, the comment of "The mayor “faced the investigation and the findings head-on, and has worked hard to pull together the funding and support to implement the improvements outlined in the consent decree,” "spewed by the CEO of the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce Terry Cole, Takes the cake for propaganda of the year award. Is there anyone not willing to whore themselves out in order to benefit politically in some way around here? This mayor has dodged every single hard topic, hid during every crisis, and continues to lie to the public daily, when he does poke his head out to take responsibility for any positive publicity that comes along. After all, a true leader

takes credit for everyone else's work. The Psychopaths at the Albuquerque Urinal couldn't have

picked a better picture to portray the Mayor in this article. Place two U.S. Marshals on either side of him, and everyone he's turned his back on behind him, and there you have it. 

And last, but not least is a gem in this trifecta of bull manure. It is written by the man of the hour himself, RJ Berry, and for the Urinal none the less. See if your opinion gets published in the Urinal. In this article is where the utter discredit will come for Mayor Berry. Berry made the fatal mistake of using one of the department's biggest failures in his hypocritical pining for his plan to try to have the Return to Work reinstated, in order to have rehires eligible to return to APD as officers again. Mayor Berry decided to use the now retired Lieutenant Les Brown as his poster boy for what as he says "By all accounts, APD Commander Les Brown is a good cop; so good in fact that he was just selected to be the Chief of Police in Wickenberg." The Eye would like to know by who's account? Who is the "all" here? Would it be Greg Brachle, who worked under Lieutenant Les Brown at APD SID? Would Brachle say such a thing after he emptied a magazine into a car containing two APD UC officers, striking both, and almost killing one, injuring him so bad that his life will never be the same. Would it be officer Jacob Grant, who was shot multiple times by Lieutenant Brachle? Would Jacob be saying this because Les was such a great cop, that he stood up for Detective Grant, instead of letting the city cover for Brachle? Les was such a great cop, because he was there for his officer? No. Because he wasn't. Les Brown was in charge of the biggest out of control portion of APD, SID; a unit rife with out of control individuals. One of these individuals was indicted for the shooting of homeless camper James Boyd. This same detective, Sandy was previously Giglioed in federal court. He was also the

detective involved in indicting judge Murdoch; a case we all know was tossed. This great cop stood by, and did nothing. What most do not know is that Les Brown was such a great cop that he was not promoted to commander, and had to sue for his rank. As a matter of fact, Les is such a stand up guy, that he entered a class action civil suit against the city, then caved in, and sold out a third party in the case when the city offered to promote him to make the lawsuit go away. Les looks out for number one. Seems he is a great guy too. Berry says Wickenberg, AZ is lucky to have Les, as would be any department in New Mexico, but this has been the trend of former high ranking members of APD when they retire, to move to another state because no department here will take them, unless you are former Commander Mike Grier who is one of the good guys, who is now the Chief of Rio Rancho PD, which, by the way, is right next to Albuquerque, and not having recruitment or crime issues. Lets look into this. You spend your whole life here, then retire with a hefty pension, and you have to leave the state to get another job. It seems like these "great prospects" are "running" instead of "leaving." They are going to places where nobody knows about them or APD. Schultz, Banks, Sailor, Archibeque, and the list goes on. There is nothing fortunate about allowing a cancer to spread. Nothing! The fortunate thing is that communities in this state know better than to hire one of these malfeasants. The current system is not driving these employees away. The fear of getting caught is. While Berry talks about the system forcing out experienced officers he just allowed one of the most

experienced officers, who was also a rehire, to be fired for doing his job, and running video on every contact, including oversight interviews, as he was ordered to do, just because former IRO Robin Hammer doesn't like him. Robin Hammer is friends with Robert Perry. Perry would like to see his friend Robin appointed to the Inspector General position. He would surely be able to call in owed favors then, and "soften" up a whole bunch of stuff for his buddies. 

There is one more thing the world needs to know about Berry's poster boy for great seeds of leadership being littered all over the Southwest. Jennifer Vega Brown was divorced coincidentally from Les Brown as Brown was going through a Bankruptcy, and just before getting her settlement for roughly $340,000 from a lawsuit she settled against BCSO, coincidentally protecting this money from any bankruptcy filings but they still live together. Berry is a liar. His return to work is just another pacifier to make the uneducated think he is doing something. When it fails, he will blame the next administration, like he blames the previous. I think at this point Berry's tenure with the city of Albuquerque can be summed up as burning down the barn while trying to close the doors, after the horses have long run out. He is a failure, and coward who only looks to blame everyone else, while dodging and delaying accountability, as he runs interference for the criminals who brought the city to the meltdown it is now in. Berry has operated alongside his minions, and underlings from a position of cover, while stacking the deck like nobody's business, yet they go silent, and hide as soon as they get called out. Maybe he can write an article here when one of his success stories lands a job as a chief in a city of the first class and he is taken seriously in Washington. 

And what do we say about kent walz, joe kirby, karen moses, don friedman, sharon hendrix, dan herrera, D'Val Westphal, and the rest of the yet to be named responsible parties over at the Urinal, that have been lying to the public for years? Use their rag for your chicken coops, and puppy or parrot cages. That is all it is good for. Because, when you have a bunch of immature brats in the positions these people occupy, the best thing to do is take their audience away when they insult your intelligence.
